I
can’t
believe
I
have
not
given
Pickering
a
review
yet.
It’s
been
my
favourite
hotel
to
staycay
in
Singapore,
especially
with
Beach
Road
closing
to
support
SHN.
I’ve
stayed
here
a
number
of
times
over
the
last
few
years,
in
a
variety
of
rooms
from
the
urban
to
the
junior
suite
(and
am
looking
forward
to
the
signature
one
this
week~).
First
up,
service
is
always
excellent
-
friendly,
patient
and
attentive.
They
know
their
stuff,
what
they
can
and
can’t
offer
you,
and
are
professional
and
efficient
about
it.
A
pleasant,
seamless
experience
which
is
what
I’m
looking
for.
The
decor
is
beautiful
-
pictures
speak
a
thousand
words.
The
rooms
are
all
nicely
furnished
in
a
calming
modern
style.
They
are
not
massive
like
older
developments
but
are
Very
Efficiently
designed
which
more
than
makes
up
for
it!
The
urban
rooms
feel
spacious
and
the
suites
feel
voluminous
-
despite
the
fact
they
arent
actually
all
that
huge
objectively.
The
views
from
every
room
I’ve
gotten
are
stellar.
You
will
have
no
complaints.
You’d
be
wishing
you
could
keep
the
blinds
up
all
day
and
all
night.
Its
mad.
The
food
is
consistent
across
parkroyal
-
ie
they
are
good.
The
club/collection
benefits
are
great
and
generous,
with
delicious
breakfast
and
an
absolutely
stellar
cocktail
menu
(with
properly
crafted
cocktails
-
not
the
sort
of
airplane
“slosh
it
together
yourself
nonsense).
However,
with
the
second
Phase
2,
they
seem
to
have
simplified
their
menu
to
a
rather
limited
selection
of
simple
cocktails,
which
was
disappointing
to
be
honest.
The
breakfast
options
also
deteriorated
somewhat,
being
served
in
a
bento
box
etc.
However,
it
may
be
because
I
was
in
the
collection
lifestyle
room
rather
than
suite
this
time
around.
Even
if
it
was
differentiated
for
the
suites,
I
would
also
be
disappointed.
I
fee
It
cheapens
the
brand.
Parking
is
easy
and
unlike
some
(older)
hotels,
does
not
make
you
feel
like
a
fool
for
driving
(ie
the
carpark
is
actually
decent
and
not
some
basement
dungeon).
However
you
only
get
2
coupons
a
day
so
plan
your
use!
Not
that
it
would
be
hard.
You’re
right
in
the
middle
of
town,
AND
why
would
you
even
want
to
leave
their
beautiful
rooms?
