🌟 The Westin is perfectly situated for both business and leisure travelers as it's conveniently close to Marina Bay, making it a breeze to explore the city while on a trip! 😄 The service was satisfactory, and the hotel itself offered a very comfortable stay. 😊 Although the personal fridge space was a bit small and the TV had limited program options, it didn't hinder our overall enjoyment. 😅 As a business hotel, it's understandable that there's no playground, but the surrounding area is fantastic, especially since it's very close to Lau Pa Sat, where you can find delightful 24-hour food options! 🍲 Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and we'd recommend it for anyone looking to mix business and fun during their visit! 👍

The hotel was incredible! Super friendly staff, very rich breakfast with big selection, nice lounge for status clients, modern rooms and amazing views. Worth every penny - highly recommended if staying in Singapore and exploring the city (e.g. street food)

The front desk manager Miguel Gamboa was rather arrogant, unapologetic and insincere in dealing with dealing incidents. Got my hand cut at the infinity pool at the Jacuzzi becos of sharp edges of the tiles, but the hotel insisted no compensation would be given despite of having premise liability. Claimed to have done the safety inspection but unable to show any proof. Spent hours to fight for the rights and the staff was only trying to offer some restaurant set meal which you probably won’t want to use as “good will”. Worst five star hotel ever for the service. The staff needs to be better trained. Spent $400+ per night for staycation ended up suffering and made inferior by the service staff.

The staff was unpleasant and had bad service attitude. The manager Miguel Gamboa was acting like an authority instead of treating the hotel guests properly with hospitality. Will not recommend. Suggest to hire better service staff. Bad for staycation

Great location close to 2 stations Very helpful staff Amazing breakfast with lots of options Very comfy spacious rooms with great views Only 4 keys on our safe worked and bar fridge did not open at all. Had some drinks later at bar in foyer (very expensive)

Very clean and nice hotel in a business area, walking distance to China town. The lobby is on 32nd floor with beautiful view of the harbor. Lounge and swimming pool on 35th floor. We enjoy the lounge service, especially from Dylan, very friendly staff. The corner room is spacious and comfortable. The mattress and pillows are Westin standard - very soft. Overall cleanliness of the room is great. I personally do not like the mini bar as it is fully stocked, if the item was lifted from its place more than15 second then it is automatically charged, only small space available for personal item. The shower stall is often overflown quickly. The breakfast was tasty and has a good spread. Staffs are quite friendly and professional. Throughout 3 days stay, always problem everyday, but they deal with it quickly.

Fantastic hotel, very new and modern. The rooms were clean and well maintained as well as updated. The staff were kind and professional. The location is excellent as well with in walking distance of great food and The Sands. Could use more signage at the ground level to indicate that the hotel is located on level 32 and up, so you have to take the elevator. They have staff down there to help direct, but they were busy with a wedding party during our arrival.

In love! The reception is uniquely placed on the 32nd floor and everything else are so high. That said, city and sea view is very pretty. I love the service too except for the check-in waiting time. If you have children with you, it's always good to ask for kids toiletries and all. Theirs are so premium. Even my baby got one.

The best lounge I've ever had at a Marriott Property. Great thanks to Sherrain, Casey, Gabriel, Jojo, and Sarah on the lounge concierge team, you really made my stay fantastic. The room is a bit overpriced, but consider the quality of the service here, I would say it's worth giving a try. Breakfast is fine, but offerings should be changed everyday.

This is a genuine five star hotel - we had a great time staying here. One of the better Marriott properties in Singapore. The location is very good, the hotel is literally just above the MRT station and close to many nearby restaurants and the marina bay area. The rooms are new and well- furnished. They are fairly spacious and comfortable and the bathroom is great. The cleaning (and overall service) is fantastic. The cleaning everyday is very meticulous and the staff are super responsive and helpful.

Stayed at Westin for w work trip. Very nice big room with a great view. Swimming pool was at 35 floor and is lovely. Daily breakfast was great with lots of options for both Chinese, Indian, and western cuisine. Had dinner at restaurant one night and food was great as well.

Everyone was very friendly. I was with my wife and two boys and the hotel was perfect. Very nice but not stuffy. Izz at the front desk was very helpful with anything I had questions about. Views from breakfast were amazing and the spread was huge. Executive lounge was nice as well. Great location within walking distance to China town and Marina Bay. Right across the street from the metro station which is very easy to use and clean. Room was spacious and was upgraded to an amazing view of the marina.

This is the lousiest hotel I've even been. Black out happened 3 times in 2days. I can't believe it. I won't come this hotel anymore in my life. It's not deserve for 5 star hotel. Even the room dining food is so bad. Have you ever seen this kind of brioche French toast?

Very poorly planned hotel. The rooms are dated and have bad interiors. The hotel has hardly any views. Had the most horrible experience at breakfast. Not expected from Westin, especially at this price level ! Very limited breakfast choice with terrible service. With the limited choice and the long time they take, they still short change you with your orders. Breakfast area was dirty although there were hardly any people. Would never stay here again. There are better choices in Singapore for this price range.

Great location and building. Attached to the Asia Towers, and situation at the 32nd floor and higher, the hotel offers guests an amazing view no matter the room. Lounge is cozy with many seating options. Note the lounge is not open to those 12 and under, but you can bring food to the terrace or a separate room for eating. Our room had HVAC issues but maintenance staff are responsive and staff are willing to help. Great service and will return !

Very nice room with elegant bathroom. Unfortunately I can’t stay poolside due to rain all day, hope next time for sure. Thank s for upgrading. And congratulations on happy wedding.

This is probably one of my favorite Hotels in the world. It has an amazing location and is walking distance from most hotspots in Singapore like the MBS hotel and the famous lau pasat hawker center. The hotel staff have amazing service and the amenities that this hotel provides are incomparable to anything that a Westin in the U.S. or Europe would provide. The breakfast here was phenomenal with an abundance of food like laksa and eggs made to order. The rooms at this hotel had amazing views and while the rooms weren’t the biggest they featured large bathrooms with a nice rain shower. If you plan to visit Singapore soon I would recommend visiting this hotel.

Luxury hotel which is part of the much larger Asia Square One and Two tower complex. In an excellent location in Singapore. Convenient to a handful of MRT lines and stations including one just a one minute walk from the entrance (on the property). Staff are all friendly and professional. An excellent club lounge for qualifying Marriott members. Probably a 20 minute cab ride from Changi. A 10 minute walk to Marina Bay Sands for reference.

Luxery and spacious rooms. 2 adults and 2 kids, enough space. Location in the business center, less then 5 minutes to the bay area, Pau la market. 2 metro lines next to the hotel. Beautiful infinity pool.

I don’t usually comment about this kind stuff but super disappointed with Westin Singapore. 1. I’m platinum elite bonvoy member and even after 5pm still didn’t get the room yet even though I have a baby with me and confirmation says guaranteed check in at 3pm. 2. Room has weird funny smell, like old shoes. 3. The front desk team was unhelpful and not friendly. Even though we came with a fussy baby but he’s not so much helpful. Will be the last time I stayed in this hotel. I have always stayed in other Marriott bonvoy hotels in Singapore and this is easily the worst.

Impressive service, absolute cleanliness, brilliant infinity pool. This hotel has it all. Stayed for 15 nights and didn't get hotel sick like I usually do. For me what ticked the box was the gym. The hotel has a commercial grade (technogym) equipment. Bonus

Arrived early morning from a hectic transit. Front desk had a room ready for us to check in at 07:50 AM which was greatly appreciated. Bed and linens are excellent. Room lighting design is excellent and comforting. We enjoyed the spa facilities and pool. Hotel facilities seemed in good condition. Cafe on the ground floor lobby is very convenient, no lines fast service. The Westin and the JW are probably the best Marriott choices in the city. The St Regis Singapore sucks bad.

Five star family hotel and quite grandiose. Lobby in 32 floor and hotel room above. Several restaurants with quite tight opening hours. Advanced reservations are a good idea.

Truly great experience - really nice rooms, lobby, and service overall. Location was at the center of the financial district with many tourist destinations in walking distance. I would also like to thank the staff for their accommodation and great service.

Our flight from JFK arrived early in the morning and we were at the Westin Singapore around 8 am. Given the room wasn't ready, I walked around the hotel to take a look at the facilities, including the club lounge. At the lounge, I was welcomed by the staff who offered drinks and a place to sit and relax after hearing my situation. I visited the lounge and the swimming pool multiple times a day during my three-night stay as it was a personal trip. Each time, my family were greeted by friendly staffs at the lounge and their services exceeded our expectations.

Coming during a busy weekend like F1, the hotels are busier, so you expect for there to be some short comings in the service; However, the Westin Singapore remained true to its character and provides all of its guest with customer service that tops many of the luxury Marriott properties I’ve stayed at. Everyone here did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable and welcoming as possible. Thanks to people like Cora, Gabriel, Casey, Sarah, and other associates whose names I didn’t catch, my stay here was great. My family and I came from Bali to have a 2 day layover here and see the Singapore Grand Prix. We arrived early and our room wasn’t ready, but we were allowed to freshen up in the spa which is very clean and accommodating. The Westin Club has great food options to choose from every day during the happy hour (5-8pm while I was here), and the first night we were here, they had Peking duck which was exquisite. I really have to commend Cora for being an amazing person all around. She recommended some restaurants for my family and I to visit, and we greatly appreciated her recommendations. The housekeeping staff is also great. I really just have to commend the entire team for ensuring that your stay will be as pleasant as you’d like. I will definitely return to Singapore, and this is my new favorite go to hotel. It truly lives up to its name as a 5 star property.

Came here for F1 - so rooms were very inflated, in Singapore generally. Nonetheless - the hotel is located in a great location. Rooms were good for a business hotel and views were really nice. Its quite a nice place to stay on most circumstances. I would definitely return.

Beautiful hotel with nice rooms and lovely employees. However, a few qualms. First, the room lights do not come on when you enter the room and the switches are by the bed. This can make it very hard to navigate at night. Second, the shower floors are crazy slick. I didn't slip but I could easily see someone getting badly injured. Also, clear glass for the toilet door isn't fun for anyone. Finally, breakfast buffet was good with lots of options but not great; fruit was not yet ripe, pancakes and waffles were not fresh. Omelet bar was great. All in all a 4 star hotel that could get closer to 5 with some small improvements. The staff was very nice and accommodating with our children.

I am writing this comment to express our sincere gratitude for the warmth and kindness shown to us by every member of your staff, leaving us with wonderful and unforgettable memories. Throughout our stay, when we made requests, both the front desk and housekeeping teams promptly attended to our needs with a smile and a friendly attitude. Their professionalism and enthusiasm made us feel right at home, playing a crucial role in our journey. Our room was not only comfortable but also impeccably clean, reflecting the meticulous care taken by the housekeeping department. The pool and gym were also well-maintained, and the staff's friendliness was a remarkable highlight. The breakfast offered a diverse and high-quality selection that left a lasting impression on us. I would like to extend special thanks to ZOE at the front desk, CAESEY at the executive lounge for exceptional care, which contributed to the beautiful memories we now cherish. We will forever hold dear the time we spent here. In fact, I have already begun looking forward to my next visit, even though I have left Singapore! Once again, thanks to the hotel's staff for their outstanding service. Thank you for leaving us with such wonderful memories. SCHNEE CHEN

Booked a day using rewards points. Very worth. Room was very spacious. Service was great. View was great. Only complain was that bed is too soft. Gym is decent. Infinity pool does not really have infinity view lol.

My favourite so far in Singapore. Very clean, spotless! For someone like me who is so particular of cleanliness, spotless of dirt, this is the best hotel I would vote so far. If anyone else come across as picky as I do, recommending super clean hotel, let me know!

I would describe this hotel is inside an office's building. Hotel abit far from city. Some walking distance to subway. CBD area, alots of office towers surrounding. Pretty quiet surrounding expecially weekend due to all offices closed and those shops inside the mall are all closed too. Hotel facilities still maintains good but lack of warm service and flexibility. No smile service from a Caucasian reception. Perhap is one of the duty manager or reception manager. Although the hotel website stated same room size. But the facts they are different. I stayed a few different series with different design. Based on my experience, i would say my first visit fabulous. Second visits was ok. Third visits getting poor. Hotel is currently part of the SHN facilities. Will see if the hotel's service improve after the hotel reopening.

The rooms and views are fantastic. Standard high rise duel elevator setup (level 32 for lobby, change elevators for guest rooms) this can't be helped but is always a chore. Breakfast buffet used to be fantastic here but there is no longer a buffet offered. Service has never been true 5 star and is pure business travel focussed. They seem to have a lack of customer facing staff. Overall great hotel if you can get it for a good price.

I checked in at 11 am and the staff had already made preparations for my early check-in, complete with my in-birthday amenities. I requested for door stopper, extra towels and blankets and was given the items almost immediately. The gym had sufficient equipment and we were given the room that faced the beautiful port and sea. On weekends, the place was calm and peaceful as it was the Shenton Way office areas. Cold Storage is nearby and the lobby is beautiful. The guest rooms were huge and there is a bathtub in the toilet. The impeccable service and the professional staff were the highlights of the stay. :)

Great experience. More expensive than JW but Close to where I wanted to visit. Bell desk staff were nice always helping me push button for elevator when seeing me. It’s also great to have food credit when lounge was closed. In room dining was better than I thought. Breakfast was kinda slow and limited but It’s understandable.

I stay at many Westins and this is one of - if not the best I've stayed at. Great views, fantastic rooms, great staff, great food. Of course the price matches but still competitive for a 5 star in Singapore. The club lounge was not reopened yet during my stay but the substitute F&B credit for elite members was good. I will definitely stay here again.

My mom loved her stay here! She enjoyed the view (especially from the pool!) and we appreciate how staffs were attentive of our requests. We were about to check-out in few hours when we realised that the body wash in our room was almost finished. The staff went to our room to refill it in no time when we requested for it.

Did a 3-night staycation for the first time here. Overall alright, but in some areas they might still be trying to recover from the pandemic, and are not totally ready yet. The positives: - Excellent service levels all around. This applies to pretty much almost every one of their service staff we encountered during the visit, including the security personnel on the ground floor, and the housekeeping staff. The people at Seasonal Tastes were exceptional. - Room was spacious, comfortable, and generally well-maintained. Wish we got a room with a better view though. - Relatively uncrowded over the long weekend, which is great for a peaceful break with the family. The not-so-positives: - Only one parking pass per stay, regardless of number of nights. We had to leave the car behind and take public transport each time when we wanted to venture out. - The parking pass also does not cover weekdays. - No members' promos like Elite-tier discounts and kids dine free during public holidays. - No evening turndown. - No buffet breakfast. We were looking forward to self-serve breakfasts again following the change in government regulations, but were disappointed when we found out they only serve set breakfasts, with only 5 options to choose from. Family of 4 ordering one different item each, 3 nights - we ended up literally eating the same things each morning. - The steam room and whirlpool in the spa were not working. To make things worse, when I asked to be let into the spa, stating my intention to use these facilities, the staff member simply let me in without bothering to offer any heads-up. I discovered these were not working only after I changed my attire and tried to operate them. A heads-up would have been nice to spare me the trouble of having to change twice just for the enjoyment of pushing a couple of buttons which did nothing.

Excellent staff, including Joe Kok at the front desk who worked some magic and found us a room at 7am check in. Lovely, clean property. Very good breakfast buffet. Great location in downtown. Quiet rooftop pool. We'd definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at the Westin Singapore hotel and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The hotel is located in the heart of the financial district and offers stunning views of the city skyline. The rooms were well-appointed with modern amenities and were spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a restful and refreshing sleep. The hotel's staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel boasts a range of facilities, including a well-equipped gym, a refreshing pool, and a relaxing spa. The breakfast buffet was top-notch, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. Overall, I couldn't fault my stay at the Westin Singapore hotel. If you're looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in the heart of Singapore, I highly recommend booking a room at this hotel.

It’s a nice looking modern hotel. This is its big plus. Cons -rude staff on check in, which sets the tone for an unpleasant stay. -no lounge as I was told they haven’t enough staff to open it. But they still keep their prices sky high. -no water in rooms. -air con not good enough to cool the room even on lowest temperature. -noisy air con. -rough bed sheets -USB ports not working This should be a great hotel, but I think they’ve just let it go a bit. The JW south beach is way way better than this place and similar price, and great friendly staff. (Not check in staff who just shout at you for your passport without even saying hello) I didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment on that.

My husband and I stayed here for a week on our honeymoon in March and it was amazing. Thank you to the Westin Singapore team for treating us so well during our first trip to Singapore and for our special trip. The rooms are immaculately clean and modern, and the service was fantastic. We received a free upgrade to a nicer room with dedicated sitting area, and we also received a free dessert with card congratulating us on our honeymoon. The location of the Westin was great as well, located within walking distance to many of the popular tourist sites. We didn't eat at the on-site restaurant so we can't comment on it. The rooftop pool was really nice to relax and lounge around. If we ever find ourselves back in Singapore, we would definitely come back to stay at the Westin.

  • 4/5 Lee G. 1 year ago on Google
Firstly the modern rooms and facilities were excellent. My overall stay at the Westin Singapore was very enjoyable. Positives: Very new, modern design room Great swimming pool, infinity pool overlooking Singapore City The location of the hotel is excellent Design of the hotel is very nice Negatives: I found the gym / fitness centre pretty disappointing. Pretty small in design and free weights in a bad location (corner). Would be great if you could arrange a bigger area for gym Both nights during my stay, the lounge was disappointing. There was no glasses or cutlery at one point. 90% of the dishes were seafood related (both identical main dishes both nights). If you don't eat seafood, like myself you would be left disappointed. The lounge also feels like a meeting area space rather than a proper lounge. Found breakfast rather disappointing Overall it was a good stay. However definitely room for improvement on gym and lounge especially.

The room was big enough and very clean. The service was excellent. We had a city view from big windows. I loved having a bath with its view. The swimming pool was bigger than we expected. They gave everything you need to stay in Singapore. Nothing to complain.

Loved all of my 3 stays at this hotel. Close to the Marina and business districts. Rooms are huge as too are the bathrooms and have magnificent views, either city/inland or harbour/seaviews. Also rooms have ample space if you need to set up a workspace in the room. Service is exceptional from all staff encountered. Pool, spa and fitness room offer relaxing environments and for jet lag symptoms cure :).

Excellent location, excellent service, and excellent rooms. A real 5 star hotel. My whole stay was wonderful, the state of the room was immaculate and the room was very comfortable. Staff at reception, spa, and restaurants were super helpul and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the coffee tasted great. A+++

Great hotel overall and I am very happy with my stay here.Located in the Marina Bay area juxtaposed by the Singapore's Central Business District, this place is walkable to a lot of place including China Town and the shoppes at the Marina Bay Sands and Garden's by the Bay, with easy access to MRT or taxi cab like I did. The service was amazing from all of the staff members starting from the checking in all the way to the room service and upkeep. My room was upgraded into a beautiful suite with 180 degrees of water view and the Marina Bay. A benefit of being a Marriott Ambassador loyal. Their lounge is amazing with so many food choices for breakfast, and the evening cocktails was very nice as well. Above all, I couldn't put emphasis enough on how impressed I was with the staff members, specially for the Lounge staff. They truly go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and all my needs are met. Special shout out to Lounge staff Gabriel, Sarah and the chef that I forgot the name, sorry. They were just all amazing!

It was comforting to know they still have tables for Christmas lunch. The staff were full of Christmas vibes and made us feel very welcomed. Great service including many photo taking assistance. Very nice hotel with some quirky designs. Excellent views from the 32nd floor lobby.

Very close to Garden by the Bay and Chinatown. Lao Pasat food hall is also super close. Service is excellent and I'm so grateful to management. My daughter fell ill during the night before our midnight flight. Our checkout time was not very far away and I was so stressed out, but when I asked the front desk, the manager allowed us 4 extra hours to let my daughter rest a bit more. Can't be more grateful.
