Not at all customer friendly hotel. Have policies such as compulsory deposit, charges for keeping luggage. Extravagant charges for everything. It is just a hotel which believes in making profit at all cost without giving a damn to the customer experience.

Hi Rohit, thank you for being very helpful and understanding. I fully understand the rules and regulations of the hotel, i have no objection on their policies and limited services. Understand this is a budget hotel. But Just one thing i would like to highlight to Ms. Jasmine. Be polite and kind when you talk to customer. Especially when there are elderly people seeking help. Groom your self. Take some courses and improve your skills. I know you are tired of handling many customers and many issues on your day to day basis work. Very Glad Rohit was there to assit when you failed. He is such an excellent example you can learn from. Cheers

It maybe a good hotel if you are staying for a couple of hours. Rooms are small and room service is not satisfactory. The hotel is close to Metro station. There are several Indian restaurants around here. There’s also a mosque nearby. You can walk to Mustafa Centre from the hotel.

The hotel is good enough, not too big. but its enough for business trip. i have a room without windows, perhaps its better with window. Clean enough. The bathroom is good. The Staff is nice also. The location is so strategic because near the MRT, just 200m. Thank u.

First of all, rooms were average, the washroom locks didn’t work which I think is a must. Hospitality was pathetic, the people at the reception do not know how to talk to customers. We didn’t have a single person to even help us with the bags. If you’re booking pls do not, you’ll feel disrespected by the way they treat the guests with lots of arrogance, attitude and disrespect.

I visited singapore recently and to be honest the hotel is in the middle of the city where in you will get the nearby metro station rochor to travel to bayfront where all the tourist attractions are located like giant wheel, arts and science museum, garden by the bay, merlion park which is good but coming to the hotel it's a very silent place, the only negative is the service it's very poor ,there is no proper room service where water is refilled ,no towels or shampoo kept and they take 100 singapore dollars as hold and they give you back once you checkout from the hotel so it becomes difficult to manage your expense . Hotel us not maintained properly.night you won't get anyone at the reception if you need anything

Great Budget Place. Great Service. Great location especially if you are from India. Rooms are just about ok. Travel with less luggage as rooms have just enough space.

a hotel with a low cost. The staff is helpful and accommodating (rohit). I advise booking a stay near the Indian restaurants. Big families won't be able to stay at this hotel. Overall, it is suitable for a brief trip.

The front desk, as local say cannot make it. Not attentive, went there twice for the second time, i stand infront of the door like gundoo. He went on talking and talking about a min or so, he realise im outside he then open the door. After one of the patron done talking, he ask for the booking, i was tryimg to open the app which should be understood, im using iphone, or for any other phones it will take time to navigate through the app, he display that irritated face, never mind, he whispered i dont know with which ghost, speaking in his own language, hello i also dont wish to stand infront of you looking at your annoying face, and never mind he talk like i owe him 2 million. You not happy with where you are standing nobody force you to serve anyone. You chose that job jolly well do it with pride. Im your guest not your enemy you want to tell me the house rule also dont tell me like a kid. I told him off and he just ignore me. Those who suffering from high blood pressure, you better dont stay in that hotel, if you think we are cheapskate dont say about us reflect on where you are working. We dont judge but your attitude reflects on who your are, and you are inviting people to give such an unfavurable remarks, and destroy the hotel image, dont think if you treat people as such people gonna bow down at you and just move off. If you have pride anyone also have the pride and wish to be treated with respect. Considering this period its difficult to get a job, just hope you dont come acrosd someone who will make your life a living hell just because you think you have had successfully treat others and bow down to you! Such a nuisance!

We had a good stay! I just wished that understaffing (it’s obvious) will be taken care of as many times than not, there’s always no one in the front desk as they are busy doing other things. Before we checked out, I think the lady (I didn’t get her name) was busy cleaning rooms and had to rush back to the front desk to check us out.

The room i booked is a small single bed room with no window and a shared bathroom. It was located at the basement with adjacent bathroom/toilet for public use. The staff are very commendable because they are very kind and helpful. The location of the hotel is also very near to Rochor Train Station. The area where the hotel is located have many activities to offer such as spa, museum and shops you can visit. There are also restaurants around the hotel area which are even open 24/7. Something I want the hotel to improve is the cleanliness of their rooms and toilet. The room also slightly stinks which can be improved by a good room spray. The sheets and walls are stained which can be simply cleaned and checked before someone checks in. Overall, it was still a good experience.

I found Sandpiper cozy and clean hotel. Location is perfect for business and tourism. I found service no nonsense and sincere. Rooms have just enough space to move your legs and work, a welcome change against other budget hotels. In summary, great value for monies. Rohit was great in service and guidance. kudos

Close to the shopping centres and other stuff in little India. Rooms are small and bathroom is moldy. Bed is short but clean and service is good. Price was cheap so for the price it's good.

Affordable for Singapore. You'll be fine here as long as you're okay with minimal room standards. For example, no window, not enough space to move around freely, very small wet bathroom. Keep in mind to bring an extra $100 for the deposit. It's a good location near two metro stations, a 7/11 and ample restaurants.

The hotel was good but more than the hotel room , the staff person was very supportive and very humble towards the customers ( especially i mean Rohit ) he takes care of every issues that we face at any instant of time from morning to night time . Hope this is what we expect from customer service desk people, if I visit again here , most probably it would be because of Rohit

After booking when I arrived at the hotel I asked to check out the room . I found the sheets stained & the mattress was also in a bad shape. They agreed to get it fixed . In addition they asked me to increase the rent by 85$ & also demanded a refundable deposit of $100 in cash . I agreed to pay them additional 85 $ & 100$ refundable deposit but they insisted both amounts to be paid in cash . I had to walk out & reported the matter to the booking co. It was frustrating & a horrible experience. I will not recommend this place to anyone. People there are simply cheat

Hospitality at its worst! We had a very unpleasant experience in this Hotel during our 3 day stay at Singapore. The following are some of our experiences. 1. When I wanted to reconfirm my Booking, over long distance telephone, (which was already made with full payment), the lady at the Reception, said that she was too busy to take my call and would not even give a one sentence reply, which I earnestly pleaded. 2. When we checked in , the Receptionist Mr. Rohit rudely demanded a 100 Dollar deposit, which he said would be refunded only if the Bedsheets were not stained etc and other silly reasons. (What a way to respect a guest!) 3. We requested that our small water Bottle needed to be filled up. Mr. Rohit ( and the other lady, who seemed to be the only people manning the place), curtly refused saying that they have a policy of not filling up guest water Bottles. (We had asked only for Drinking water to be filled up, and not Bottled water. They also give only filled up water in the room.) 4. We were asked to check out by 11 am and we requested for grace time till 12 noon. By this time, we were harshly reminded 3 times that we should check out immediately. 5. The rooms are too cramped and we have to pay 50 dollars extra for a room with a very small window. 6. There were no telephones in the room. We were also informed that the Hotel would be totally unmanned from midnight to 6 am., and we have to fend for ourselves. 7. The worst part of our experience, was that Mr. Rohit and the lady tried to talk sweet words , as we were boarding the taxi for the Airport and in fact requested a favourable review. What HYPOCRISY! 8. During our entire 3 days stay, we experienced extreme unhelpfulness and rudeness from the staff. 9. The only advantage of the Hotel, is its proximity to the MRT and eating areas. Jaya Pradeep, Kodaikanal-India.

Amazing spot on location in Little India with hop and reach distance to MRT station and Indian Restaurants. Staff is spot on helpful, guiding clearly nd speaking prompt to the point. Mr Rohit has been perfect is answering to all our queries. Rooms are small but this is same in whole of Singapore. It's economical and perfect for doozing off after tiresome full day tours.

This was our first international trip & we travel 2 women.. the stay was comfortable and safe.. If you are budget friendly traveler, then this is the best hotel for you.. Small, tiny, clean room but good enough with all basic facilities..we stayed here for 4 nights in month of June.. staff is very kind and helpful. Near by MRT station & restaurant/food court..

  • 1/5 Rahul C. 4 months ago on Google
The Staff here is not polite at all. They don’t allow to check the room before you pay them. I have asked the lady in the reception to show us the room, she asked us to check photo online. We asked do you offer breakfast, she told us, “see in what they of hotel you are staying”. I tried using the calculator to calculate currency for conversion, she snatched it back and asked us to use our phone. I tried to talk to her senior over phone but he not very responsive. I would strongly recommend big No No to this place. I Travell a lot but Worst experience every.

Reception area is empty mostly with the paper put as wait for 10mins. Rooms are small but good enough for two people to sleep. The unlucky factor for me was that the Aircon was leaking water and so it was disturbing.

Worst Ever Hotel.... 3rd Class Hotel. I would have given zero if it's possible.... During Covid-19 Pandemic situation as well, they are showing money & business oriented point of view. In case of Pandemic as well, they are justifying that, it's non refundable booking. Additionally, they are not even extending the dates as well. Bizarre approach. Even, founders the so called "Pandits" are not replying regarding the issue... It's only money & business oriented hotel...... They don't understand the problem & feelings of their valued customers they don't value their customers at all.... Big Thumbs down.... I recommend not to visit this Hotel at all , rather visit some good 3* hotel which gives value to their customers...

  • 1/5 Champion J. 3 years ago on Google
Terrible Hotel I have ever come across.... Worst Hotel in Singapore.... Management is only money oriented instead of pandemic.... They don't value their customers.... Singapore Tourism Board should have banned this Hotel coz they are grabbing money in the name of non refundable booking inspite of Pandemic condition.... Save ur money by avoiding this kind of hotel rather you should prefer some good 3* Hotel in Singapore...

The hotel is suitable place for those who travels alone. Each room gets its own bathroom, limited amount of TV channel, room service (clean the room), closet, and safe deposit box that you can arrange your own safety lock number. The hotel is near MRT station by 100 meter and it very convenient for traveller.

Not recommended if you are coming with family. Very poor service. Room will be cleaned only once in 2 days that too on request. Rude receptionist. No hospitality shown to guest. Only 2 complementary water bottles even if you are staying for 4 days. No breakfast on the day of checkout. In double rooms they gave us single beds. Very noisy neighborhood. Cant even open the windows. Very bad experience 😐

  • 1/5 Amruta K. 1 year ago on Google
Worst experience, pathetic service. Staff is rude and useless. Its better to stay in hostel than this unclean hotel. Bathrooms are filthy, room not cleaned. They are cleaning rooms only once in two days that too on request. No breakfast provided on last day even though money charged. So if you book for 4 nights, breakfast will only be provided for 3 nights. Money oriented, not interested in serving guests. Utterly disappointed, very bad experience.

The only thing good is Location! Person on front desk is having some attitude issue, or doesn't how to have discussion with travellers. Toilet is not having dustbin, twin rooms provided to the couple. AC also not working fine. We found used soap & brush in room (maybe from the guest who check-out before us), near by bed. Room is not so cleaned as well. Thankfully, we carried own towels.

This place is good for zero star, the staff is not at all cooperative, even if you visit for 1 week, they will provide water on just first day and housekeeping shall be done on every 3rd day. The rooms are so compact, very bad hotel.

I had been in this place for 3 Nights and 4 days with my family (4). This place is valuable for money. They are located in Little India (near Dunlop road) therefore outside noise comes inside and bit annoying. But they do have rooms in the basement also which is not noisy. They offer A/C, Hot water and WIFI. Not a Luxury place but its worth to stay here. Reception is opened and helpful. They allowed us to keep our baggage near front office for some hours even before and after the check in. If you are looking for a Luxury hotel I strongly recommend PARK ROYAL HOTEL On Kitchener Road ( Near Ferrer Park MRT Station) But their prices are around SGD 620 (with Tax), Where Sandpiper charges only SGD 320 ( For a family room) If you have any problem in paying online from your country, Sandpiper has a Paypal account too, which I also paid with. Its easy and trustable.

I stayed at this place for 4-5 days. The location is too good & is in close proximity to Indian food. The rooms were good, well maintained. The best part was service which was provided by staff (Mr. Rohit). He ensured that guest here don't face any issue.

I had extremely bad experience stay here. No visitior allow, no guess name change allow, meanwhile they down grade my room from deluxe to twin standard room. Old guy at front desk was extremely rude, arrogant, full of rejection and contempt. I will suggest him to go another hotel and see how they serve guess friendly. No room service in the hotel and it's very Small room. They show one thing on the apps and website and give you just opposite. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Although I stay in singapore for a whole week, I'm glad my booked at this hotel only 2 days and those 2 days experience here was the worse ever.

From Google map click and link into AirAsia Hotel website to book for this hotel at the day itself at cheaper price. Got the email confirmation, however upon reach hotel, staff mentioned didn't receive confirmation and give no assistance, just tell me to ask AirAsia. The ignorance give me totally disappointment. Feedback of previous hotel guest is really need put into consideration before do booking or ended with more issues. Btw, the staff did help, seem just help to check thru his hp email for any booking confirmation is received, and call his boss to check? Answer to me is no received any confirmation..Then said booking is mean for Malaysia... What? I booked and have confirmation of the stay and this is the result, it is either AirAsia site fail to update or hotel site issue. It is happen at the night 11pm++, and the staff ask to to check with Air Asia... Haha, no other solution, no offer me the best rate to just get the one night rest. I ended leave as I know there will be outcome.

I had paid for a three hours transit stay at Sandpiper @ 63 Dunlop Street close to 4pm on a Sunday. The front desk two staff were friendly and provided the information for my enquiries, wifi password and rates for 2/3 hours, namely 80 and 100 Sgd. I thank them for that. However it was inside the room that was severely lacking. There was no shower gel at all. There was only one towel available, we were two persons checking in. I wanted to call the front desk regarding this, the phone in the room was not working at all. I ran a search online and gotten the number through there. From there, we managed to inform the front desk, then gotten the missing towel and shower gel. Afterwhich, I was shocked by the strong stench of the comforter on the bed, which also has blood stains. After close to 3 years of Covid-19, I am truly surprised to see such lapses in hygiene and health measures. Sunday understandably is a busy day for hotels offering transit hours, however if basic housekeeping is not up to mark, please do not accept transit guests at all. Likewise, I have discovered blood stains on the pillow. With regards to this, I informed the front desk in person and understood that they were severely understaffed on that day. Management gotten back to me regarding these lapses. No, I wasn't given any refunds nor complimentary stays, nor am I keen in any. Invitation was extended to me for another stay (with discount) to experience the improvements in the lapses above. I haven't accepted but I hope it will be a better experience for the future other guests.

I had the pleasure of staying at Sandpiper Hotel Singapore and I have to say, it was a truly fantastic experience. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was impressed by the modern and stylish decor. The staff were incredibly friendly specially Rohit and helpful, making me feel welcome right away. The room was spacious, clean and well-appointed, with all the amenities I could ask for. The bed was comfortable and I slept soundly each night. One thing that stood out to me was the hotel's attention to detail. Every little thing seemed to be thought of, from the quality of the toiletries in the bathroom to the way the towels were folded. It all added up to a very luxurious and enjoyable stay. Overall, I highly recommend the Sandpiper hotel Singapore.
