It was a nice budget hotel. The staff Eugene and Garry were really kind. We were upgraded to the deluxe room that was spacious. Although cleanliness can be an issue for some but we took that into account before traveling and honestly our room was cleaned daily with refilling water bottles and basic amenities in the room. Location is good as well with connectivity of 3 major MRT lines and lively Chinatown vibes

This is a place to rest after taking on the city shopping. The rooms are clean. Maybe because we got an inner room, our stay was quiet. We could not open the windows. I think it was because of the exhaust hood pointed in its general direction. There is a bathtub to soak in at the end of the day. The front counter is nice. They are polite and not snobby. The location is walking distance or just a few stops from the attractions of Singapore.

No window, dirty room, smelly, tiny, old fashioned, also a full mirror wall in the room without any way of covering it! When checking out 2 guests were hiring a room for just 2hours.

Great for overnight! However, not a family friendly hotel, location is in part of the red light district. But, it's located around restaurants with great food!! If you want to try great true Singapore food this hotel is located literally next door to the best!! But watch out for hookers at night πŸ˜…

Good location, clean rooms and very helpful staff. Two metro stations are a 5-8min walk away, Maxwell food centre 5min away. Fast WiFi.

Ist's everything we wished for in that price range. Rooms are clean and are cleaned daily. The service is very accomodating. But it's Not the newest place so expect some wear and tear.

Omg where to begin, the only good thing here is the staff, the hotel is dirty and some places are falling apart. the price was pretty expensive also.

It is a low-cost hotel. A bit noisy from Harry's next door and other entertainment venues in the area but aircon worked and bed was acceptable. Shower was hot in the morning so at the price good value

I had the only deluxe on rooftop with terrace. The room is decent for the price, with large window - but it is covered, no sight. There were small functional issues: shaky A/C not really to control, hot water not working, but the really great rooftop panorama into the chinatown skyscrapers overcompensated this. Very helpful and friendly staff! Thanks.

No window in the room, but it's ok, since the room is clean. Location is good in Chinatown, and also near from haji lane, kampong glam. We stayed for 2 nights. The reception is really good, especially the person with suit and tie, also when we need something, fast response and helpful, unfortunately we don't have the name of the staff.

Room and amenities are old and worn down. Price has went up to $20/hr.

Rooms are bad, noisy, no window. Air conditioner leaks on bed and almost impossible to sit on the toilet jammed in the corner. Manager is very nice but the price is way too high for what you get.

I have stayed here the last 4 times I have been in Singapore and I always leave happy. The manager does a great job providing a lovely customer service and Roslan always makes sure the room is nice and clean. I recommend for anyone looking for a convenient and affordable hotel in Chinatown.

Small room, very basic and even a bit neglected. Toilet and shower not good. The hotel does not have a dining room. In my opinion the price is expensive in relation to the value.

It's a hour hotel for hookers. No windows, you hear every noise. Just one power socket per room. Nothing here is 2 stars. Only good point that is it's actually clean even if dated.

Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms and service is absolutely on point. Brilliant value for money. These guys can give a lesson to anybody on hospitality. If a room is available and you'll fancy Chinatown, then this is the place to be.

I would say rooms are below average, but you don't have many choices when you're short of budget in Singapore. I wasn't happy with it but couldn't complain much. Location wise, it is very strategic as it is in the middle of China town and close to Maxwell, Outram Park, and such. During the day and night, you might hear noises from other rooms and pubs outside, so be wary before you choose this hotel.

Hotel rooms are perfect for solo travellers and also affordable. Location is quite good and lively. The service is so good, they always ready to help you out. Specially Mr. Montree, he is always polite and ready to help you for all the queries.

Rooms have very strong tobacco smell which is almost unbearable. Otherwise the staff are great and it's strategically located.

Staff are really great. Very friendly and helpful. Room has no windows and is more like a hostel than a hotel. Anyone who values quality would not enjoy the stay. If you are happy with budget accommodation with no amenities (including soap which is only supplied via a public bathroom style soap dispenser) then consider paying more and staying elsewhere. Walking distance to Tg Pagar Rd, good location, but not for those who want comfort and facilities. Also very close to nightspot so quite noisy. Again, staff lovely.

The hotel is a good choice for business travelers who just need a room for luggage while you go about your day's work. It is walking distance from Chinatown, most everything you need is nearby. Cafes, bars, 711, bakeries and hawker stalls can be a walk away. The price is very reasonable for its location. Montree and his team are very very helpful and have been very patient with us. Highly recommended.

Stayed a few days in Hotel 81 Cosy, Counter staffs are very helpful, Jimmy provided information to us on where to eat and we managed to check in earlier than the usual 3pm which gave a time to explore the surrounding area. Montree who is very friendly and provided us with all the interesting places to visit and provide information as how to get there. He goes extra mile to help us. Great location, and clean bed to sleep and place to shower.
