Visited the cafe OTC. Not my 1st time and won't be my last. They added new items to the menu and glad that they serve breakfast also. Love the breakfast set. Is so affortable and yet delicious. Lunch and dinner set menu also available at very resonable price and yummy food. I sure be back very soon. By the way. OTC employed stafv from special school (APSN). Is hard to find such bosses who apperciate and give employment to them. Lets show our support to the lovely boss and also support out local. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Had a wonderful experience at this hotel, but I wonder why there were no windows in my room. They should consider adding a window; I was quite bored not being able to see the outside from my room or at least get some oxygen. I stayed here for just one day for business purposes, so it didn't matter much to me. However, they should consider adding a window inside and I will gladly increase the stars :)

The services at this budget hotel are beyond my expectations. The service staff are warm and friendly. They seem happy to provide umbrellas, slippers and extra pillows upon request. The rooms are clean and of reasonable sizes. In fact, they have all the things that are found in a 5 stars hotel room. The restaurant is cosy and serves a big varieties of food from breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food is served fast, hot and yummy too. With the location near to town and the mrt is 5 minutes walk. It is very convenient and easily accessible to public transport. lf one wants to buy anything, the ntuc supermarket is just across the road. Feeling hungry, one is spoilt for choices as there are many eateries nearby too. I feel it is such a good bargain for a staycation. Review written by Suzanna Lee

The staff is very friendly and the restaurantโ€™s food taste good. The room is tidy and the toilet is clean. Thereโ€™s a swimming pool at the last floor. The view from the swimming pool is beautiful too. The location also near Lavender MRT station (5 minutes walk). Recommended for you who find a budget hotel in Singapore. Love it.

Booked a superior room with double bed for a one night stay on a whim as I had expiring Agoda credits. Location is pretty good as thereโ€™s MRT station and Aperia Mall nearby. The hotel also has a private carpark. Although itโ€™s a budget hotel, room amenities are well-equipped with all the basic necessities such as shampoo and shower gel, toothbrush set, towels, bottled water, coffee and tea, instant kettle, mini bar and hanger. Room is spotless upon checking in but there was no toilet paper, which was quickly resolved after approaching the reception. Our stay includes breakfast at Our Dining Place which is the hotelโ€™s tenant. Buffet selection is not wide but has the basics such as stir fried Maggie mee (which tastes awesome), steamed egg, toasts, hotdog etc. Our only and major complaint would be about the soundproofing of the hotel. We were woken up by loud banging of doors and blasting of music early in the morning.

Very very small rooms Luckily I got a window room so it was better. If you are vegetarian don't opt for breakfast. In the name of breakfast you will land up with fruit watermelon and bananas. The location is a good walkable distance from Msrt station lavender. The staff is a good response towards any question.

Arrived at 2:45pm. Got to enter our room at 3:30pm. Our room smells like wet old towel. Size is as expected. Beds are comfortable. Toilet - no bidet. Room had no windows but weโ€™re aware of that. Restaurant under renovation. Front desk were all great to communicate to. Was able to leave luggage after check out. And stayed at the lobby while waiting for our pick up.

The room is just nice and the hotel location but the worst part is the payment time on check out. Upon booking, my money is already on-hold by the bank but then upon check out, they still asked me to pay and say that my initial payment was on hold by the bank and will be credited back only from 3-4 days. What???? Then what if I donโ€™t have enough money to pay again as i already pay initially? This is the first time it happened to us. Instead, you should have used the initial payment instead of asking to pay once again.

Initially we got a family room so we heard our neighbours talking as if we were all in the same room. Also the air-conditioning very loud. Next night we were given a better room. Staff were nice n ready to help

Room was so small compared to the pictures when booking. was told breakfast was not included even though it said on my confirmation email. No water in fridge. Staff very unhelpful and inexperienced. Bathroom/shower smelled of urine. Horrible view from Room. Very noisy at night. Other guests very inconsiderate. Had to request Room change as Room and outside corridor smelt of mould. Definitely a budget hotel. Very disappointed. Horrible experience at this hotel.

Perfect stay at the Ibis Budget! The rooms were comfortable and clean and staff very friendly and helpful thank you. We loved the rooftop pool it was always quiet up there. The breakfast was tasty and all room amenities were great. The location was convenient to travel around as was close to a train station and many shops around too. Overall it is a very good hotel if you are on a budget in SIngapore

Very basic budget hotel on par with Hotel 81, Fragrance Hotel. Rooms are kind of barebones, simple and no frills. Overall, not sure if I can recommend it for anyone who's not travelling alone.

Cheap Hotel. Not that great amenities. But very good for budget travelers. But I would not recommend this hotel if you are traveling with kids. This may be considered only for adults. Prime Location!

Clean and not that big rooms, but nice bathroom and room-service. The staff is friendly and the breakfast buffet is enormous, it changes everyday. Well located near the metro station "Lavender". Theres also a pool on the top floor and the wifi works without any problems.

OK hotel, very nice people, and ok breakfast. It is relatively cheap compared to other options within Singapore, but value for money is sufficient. We do feel that the building should be maintained better, as we had minor leakages and moisture spots. Location is rather good, in between city center and the airport.

Front staff are ok talking and asking info, but not helpful at all. I am pregnant and they didn't even bother helping me with my luggage. The room given to us was so small and not that clean. I made coffee for my husband and the stirrers was used by the previous occupants. They didn't even bother checking it. Very disappointed coz I asked my travel agent to transfer me to that hotel since it has a pool. Now I regret asking for a change of hotel. Needs more trainings for their staff.. The food though in the restaurant was so good, enjoyed it even if its a bit pricy. Oh and one more thing, not a kid friendly hotel.. Not for family. For solo or couple traveler only.

Location close to Lavender MRT. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Rooms were cleaned but bathroom had a bad odour. Floor was never cleaned (10 night stay). Bathroom door glass, so sunrise lite whole room as no curtain on bathroom window. Reception staff was so lovely and helpful.

The hotel offers a decent stay for a short visit, they even have a swimming pool. However, the rooms' poor soundproofing detracts from the overall experience, making it less than ideal for longer stays or light sleepers.

I stayed here for two nights, the location is very convenient. Just walking distance from MRT Lavender, with many restaurants option and minimarket, and near V hotel Lavender too. The room quite small but expected, no windows (didn't realise it was stated at the booking confirmation at first though), comfortable bed, only 2 pillows, a TV, working AC and water heater, small refrigerator, no wardrobe, only hangers. It was a bit disorienting when I woke up because there was no sunlight. In the bathroom, they provide 2in1 soap/shampoo, large towels, and toothbrush. But unfortunately no bidet. Finding no bidet was much more dissapointing than finding no window.. There was no breakfast buffet. They provide bento (oriental or asian) and deliver it to our room between 7.30-8.30am. The oriental (cheese sandwich, pastry, jam, butter) was quite good and taste better than the asian (mee goreng, fish). No water bottle, but tap water was drinkable or you can just boil it. The staff was helpfull, the service was good. Check in and check out was fast and effective. Thank you Ibis Imperial! Tips: -upgrade to deluxe room for window if you plan to stay long in your room. - not suitable if you have early morning flight and plan to use MRT to the airport. The earliest MRT in Lavender is after 6am. You should take a taxi/grab.

The location is really walking distance to Lavender MRT and near to shopping centre where you can eat local dishes. On the opposite road, thereโ€™s a nearby mall. Since it is a boutique hotel you wonโ€™t notice the block but this is better than backpacker houses. The room is small but I guess worth it the price since you wonโ€™t stay the whole day in the hotel.

Small room but as expected for a budget hotel. Dining room is too small, very crampy during breakfast. Narrow but long swimming pool on the top floor. Very quiet. Mostly you can enjoy the pool for yourself. Great location. Only a few hundres meters from Lavender MRT and bus stations. Lots of dining places in the surroundings.

Not worth the price you pay for, old room. You could get so much better rooms for the same price. Location is not that great on 2nd thought cause far from tourist spots. Thinking back, I think paying an extra 30sgd would be worth it for a better hotel. Else, you could save like 50sgd and get a room elsewhere with the same value of it. Staff are rude and inconsiderate. Hospitality is very poor specifically a staff named Aishah. Her tone of voice to customers is quite rude. Noisy room tooโ€ฆ also dark room Edit: now customer service telling me they need the photocopy. I told their staff I had photo of our passport but they told us to get it back from our home which was far from the hotel. lol so time were wasted. We wanted to stay at the hotel so we can save time but then they were still inconsiderate of photo Regarding the staff mentioned, she was rude in the way she told other customers that their lobby is that small so she cannot do anything about it, the right response could have been to offer her maybe a sit in the restaurant or atleast apologize politely. Her tone of voice can improve?? Ps: I also fee that they are very defensive right now to all negative comments which are quite true, thatโ€™s a problem in future improvements

Pretty decent place to stay. Good food served as well. Comfortable place to stay in. Nearby to MRT and bus stops, grocery, variety of places to eat around, a currency exchange outlet available nearby, walkable area (+ safe to walk around).

Great budget friendly hotel to stay in. Close to Lavender MRT which is about a 5 min walk. There are various food courts nearby as well which is a bonus in itself. Friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is clean and the staffs are friendly. While the room does not have windows and the light is not sufficient, making it quite dark at night. I think adding a table lamp on the desk or side tables should make the room much cozy and comfortable. The shortcoming of the hotel is definitely the poor sound insulation. Avoid staying in this hotel if you like quite places.

Room was okay & clean, and facilities were very decent. Rooftop pool was quite nice. Great location too - very near the MRT and the neighborhood feels homey. Corridor to our room kinda smells a tiny bit like spilled โ€œMalaโ€ soup, though.

I just spent four nights at the Ibis. The location is very close to the Lavender MRT station (about a five minute walk through the shops). There are plenty of hawker centres in the area, as well as fast food and other shops. The hotel itself is fairly average. The front desk workers are friendly. My room had a very firm queen size bed, a little bedside table and chair, TV (very limited channels and terrible reception on a few of them), a small bar fridge, and a bathroom with shower. The shower was powerful and nice and hot. Room was cleaned every day and the instant coffee and tea was replenished. I used the pool upstairs twice - nothing terribly special, but it was refreshing and clean. The breakfast was pretty ordinary too - two selections of fruit (usually watermelon and salted? apple slices), the selection of noodles etc, scrambled eggs, etc. There wasn't much seating in the dining area, but it was fine. The hotel seems to cater to school groups from overseas. I had kids noisily running up and down the halls on two of the nights. That's what headphones are for, right? :) So, overall - if you're looking for a budget hotel in a pretty convenient area, this one would serve you well.

Fantastic location, 5 mins to the MRT, plenty of eating joints at V Square Hotel. Close to Lavender and Bugis Shopping plazas. 10 mins walk to Little India. Room is clean, mattress is luxurious to sleep with a comfortable light quilt. Small but clean and cozy room, with kettle and TV, hot showers etc. Breakfast available and they also have and ice cream parlour.

So far So good. Not slept yet. Pool was good (but small) Rates OK. Need to see what tomorrow brings. The only comment was the look of horror when we tried to check in. Then we found its the wrong hotel as two units close together. Confusion rained. Need to make more clear the fact that two hotels are close by. But we did manage early check in once we reached right hotel. The only issue so far was previous dirty towel was still in room from previous stay. Otherwise OK so far.

Hotel's great. The room fits the price, and quite comfy. Some reviews said the staffs are rude. But i think it's only because the receptionist acted quite stoic regarding the check-in procedure. After getting the key card, she even offered me for another room that has windows The cleaning staffs also handed replacement for all the towels and drinks :) And what's more, the hotel's near the Lavender MRT Station. Overall, an amazing experience :)

The environment is clean enough for my preference, but then my room exhaust for the bathroom is off, On the price point, it doesn't give the drinks makes me disappointed. Actually, can find other hotel for better service around the area's within same price

Small rooms for family with kids. Otherwise budget rooms. Could have been a bit bigger for the room cost. Nice lobby and good Singaporean breakfast. Enjoyed everyday.

  • 4/5 Sugiearto Buntoro T. 1 year ago on Google
The room was too little, but worth as you pay for the price. Location near MRT Lavender, Kopitiam, BK, Fairprice and other restaurants. Our room a little bit noisy, sounds from vehicles pass the roads. If you need a place to SLEEP, it's good. But if you want to relax, maybe need more considerations. Keep it good, IBIS!

pretty solid hotel for the price. friendly staff and close to the mrt ! the tv doesnt have any subtitles though and the room cleaners missed a few spots when cleaning but overall pretty good (havent tried out the pool and breakfast though) ๐Ÿ‘ (traveler and kid friendly)

You get what you pay for - this hotel was super cheap and was comfortable given the price. Room was clean, bed comfortable and breakfast was nice to have. Only issues were that the shower was barely luke warm - suspect the water heater canโ€™t handle the morning peak.

  • 3/5 Laura J. 1 year ago on Google
Room okay. Used to be a Fragrance hotel but it has been tidied up and had Ibis touches applied. Room cleaned daily. Small hotel and seemed busy with large groups of people. Very small breakfast room was particularly crowded. Small rooftop pool which was nice when you had it to yourself but not somewhere to lounge about sunbathing due to limited space. Nice to have a pool though great location between Lavender and Bendemeer MRT for getting about the city. Easy to walk to Little India as well. Quite good value for money

Me and my family had a good stay in this hotel. The rooms were decent, maybe a bit small but most importantly they were clean. :) We also like the breakfast buffet that the hotel provided!:)

Excellent staff and service. The hotel is located in a great area that helps you explore the city easily. They provided me an early checkin and also when they learnt I would be checking out late night and hence won't be able to get the complimentary breakfast, they offered to pack a complimentary dinner for me. They didn't have to do that and hence I felt they were really nice to offer that. Would come back for sure!

The staff here is great!! So friendly and helpful! The location is good as well with a metro stop, bus stops, a grocery shop and various food stalls around. Our room was sufficiently clean as well (minus a ball of hair under the bed). Also, we loved the restaurant downstairs. The reasons why Iโ€™m only giving three stars are: 1. the bedding: you can feel every single mattress spring in your back!! I had to ask for two additional blankets to spread over the mattress and still suffered from back, neck and head pain. 2. The noise: You can heat every single noise that the neighbors make: nose blowing, talking, slamming doors, etc. 3. We only had cold water in the shower. So, I you want a good nights rest, look elsewhere. I feel like the money was not worth it. Could have stayed in a hostel for a third of the price if I wanted cheap mattresses, noise from other guests and a cold shower.

Room is pretty small. It can be a good choice for single traveler. No breakfast, walls are thin which you can hear people chatting behind it, also the lobby location wasnโ€™t convenient for those who carry luggage

  • 3/5 Prathamesh P. 1 year ago on Google
The three bed room was without a window and very small. Hardly any space to move around after keeping luggage. Do go for a bigger one with windows. Restaurant was nice with reasonable breakfast options. Location was ideal, just 5 min walk from Lavender MRT. There is a fair price store as well very near by.

  • 5/5 Klarisse C. 10 months ago on Google
The rooms were clean and the service was good! For its price, it is very worth it! My favorite was the breakfast. The food was good and it changed cuisines everyday. I love it!

Just a 3- 5mins walk from Lavender MRT. very easy to navigate. A chilled neighbourhood. Very calming and relax. Can drop luggage while you explore the city. Everything was comfy and clean. Practical for those who want to have a comfortable rest.

Location is great, close to Kitchener Complex. Rooms are minimalist with low lighting, clean and have the basic needs for your stay, the service are great, they even let me do early checkin. Hassle free for checkin and check out. Its not the best room in town but, I would say it is the best option within the budget range.
