Room was very very spacious! And clean, with balcony. Do take note that the room doesn’t come with tooth brush set, or facial tissues. You need to bring your own. My room came w two queen beds. Easily shifted to make into one huge bed! Overall a decent experience. Note that the walk from the malls quite far too.

Excellent place for family outing. The resort has access to beach and a huge garden. It's well managed forest area. The people staying in resort get free access to Water Park. Kids can also enjoy horse ride in Gallop stable. There is a mall adjoining the resort. You can find many dining options in the mall.

Horrible not knowledgeable staffs. First they promised you WILD WILD WILD tickets and then because it’s TUESDAY, I questioned the the lady, isn’t it closed on Tuesdays? And then she realised it and said, “oh can’t do anything about it then”. That’s it?? Just because they’re closed on that particular day. Really doesn’t make any common sense. If your guests check-in on a Monday, they should be given and extension of the Wild wild wet tickets to enjoy on another day with their family. Simple logic is that when your guests check-in (3pm onwards) on a Monday, they’re left with barely 2 hours or so to head to the Wild wild wet. And then it’s closed. And what are your guests supposed to do? Rush? Can’t you change that rules to the same as “when it rains, the dates of the tickets will be extended to a later date” so families could come back to wild wild wet. D’Resort staffs should all be RE-TRAINED in customer service etiquette.

Reached the hotel, room telephone wasn’t working, whole line was broken. They ran out of water stock. No tissues, no slippers supplied (they gave eventually). Coffee was terrible. No bathroom amenities, toilet was average. Soap dispenser was broken for many rooms. Mosquitoes everywhere, hotel floor was oily. Asked for water at reception and never received it. Decent but not good for long stays.

Quite an unhappy experience. Stayed at the chalet from 3-4 June for my grandma’s birthday celebration. Had requested for a ground floor level room due to my grandma being in a wheelchair and was told that they review our requests but room availability is only subjected to first-come-first-serve basis. Even if that were the policy, shouldn’t the chalet accommodate and reserve the rooms for those with disability first? Additionally, there is ONLY 1 handicap room available. Hotel is not very inclusive for the disabled and not very helpful. We had mentioned to front office that we were willing to wait for an available room at a later time to accommodate for our requests and was told it was not possible. My family felt very discriminated and excluded. What is the point of us having put in our requests if you’re not going to accommodate? Moreover, we ended up being placed in the far corner of the resort - not at all the experience we were hoping for.

Very peaceful and serene chalet environment with rooms that overlook the beach and park. Perfect for quick getaways or for hosting parties. The only downside is the relative walking distance to downtown East from the chalet grounds depending on what room u get. It can be up to 10 minutes if u walk along the chalet corridors so do be prepared. Bright side: Wild Wild Wet is really just next door

Hot hot hot hot hot.. barely no shade at BBQ pits. Ample parking lots but no shade, car will be like an oven if driven out mid day on a sunny day. Some shaded lots available if your lucky. Bring easy up tent at BBQ pit if possible.

The very spacious and clean room. But the hotel room door was thin. Family friendly hotel. If you are interested in staying here for remote work, it’s not recommended. There is small space for kids near my room and it was a little bit squeaky. The staff didn’t give me any information about check out time , breakfast venue and how to call the front. No instructions at card key holder neither. It looked run out of Human Resources same as other hotels.

It's always a fun place to stay for a local staycation. Love the environment and convenience of supermarkets ,cafes, and shopping nearby. Wild wild wet tickets are provided with stay. However, i would really recommend Wild wild wet to open earlier as the afternoon sun is a killer and the water park closes operation way too early at 6pm. You are opening at the sunniest timing of the day!

Room is very clean and well maintained. Staffs service is very professional and friendly. Location near to beach and cycling areas. Really like it and will definitely book again. The only thing is the parking. Too expensive as compared to maybe 10 years ago. Hope they can look into this again.

Lela went above and beyond to check me in. I had arrived early and she did everything she could do to get my room available. This is a great example of a wonderful customer experience. Thank you for doing so. She even offered a place to store my luggage while I had to wait. The room was big and clean. My view was awesome. It's definitely a great place to stay.

Honestly? Pretty big improvement as compared to when it was the old chalet! Generally it was super clean and probably one of the more spacious hotels! Even the toilet was relatively big! Slept comfortably here and managed to even host an event for a birthday party! I guess the main issue is the location! And a little confusing for someone new to come here and get lost. Distance from E!Avenue was a little tiring to come and get stuff from! Otherwise, overall a very pleasant experience!

Not bad, a very large resort hotel, we only stayed a night as we were transiting but it was a reasonable price and could fit our family of 4 in the one room. Strangely the beds didn't have top sheets, only a comforter type thing which didn't feel that hygenic as they didn't have covers on them and were a bit stained. Tried not to think about it though as we were too tired to ask for sheets. The hot water in our shower didn't work very well, you have to turn it on but was only luke warm at best. Front desk staff were nice. Can't comment on the water park and seemed to be near a shopping area which I'm sure would have restaurants.

My partner and myself stayed here for a layover on our way to Thailand. The establishment is of luxury and great location being situated close to a water park which is apart of the venue and a medium sized shopping mall with lots to see and do. The staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the city depending on what way your room faces. There is vending machines and a small store which is attached to the venue along with a bicycle rental shop. The hotel is beautifully maintained and only about a 10 minute “grab” drive to the gardens by the bay. I highly recommend this establishment. Thanks for having us!

Many says the room cant make it perhaps they are checked in to the chalet part of D'Resort. I was in the hotel room part and room was beautiful facing the sea. Everything was good, staff left new sets of towels in the evening even though we did not request and we were out at that time

Rooms were clean and spacious. Friendly and helpful staffs. Located not too far to the airport. Convenient for a short stay in between travels. Easy access to public transport and food . Highly recommended if you looking for something simple and convenient stopover in Spore.

No frills Resorts, spacious with 2 queen size beds. Able to add extra single bed Always love the beach view from our room, able to see sunrise. You can also walk thru the gate to the beach for a better view. Many amenities around the resort, F&B and entertainments. Highlight will be the water park just a short walk from your rooms, access by a private gate for syay in guest. No queue! However there is no short cut access to Aranda Club and you will need to bring your own toothbrush

The room cleanliness could be better. Almost all the rooms I stayed in since long ago have an ant problem. Even those that are in the air con area. But I don't rly mind (but my friends do) Other than that dte resort brings me fond memories :)

Room is pretty good compared to the past, but the bathroom water pressure is really weak (the shower was weak and the toilet bowl clogged a bit) and the shampoo and body wash dispenser wasn't working. But other than that, definitely a good place for a weekend getaway.

D'resort does the basics right and is a solid option for families with children who want to have fun. It's close to a rather basic shopping centre via a walkway, which is confusing to find on the first try, but easy once you know. The rooms are large and suited to the heat and humidity with fans and air-conditioning. There were kids' channels available. Transport is really only for cars; expect to use taxis more than normal compared to downtown. You can spend time trying to work out the buses to take you to Pasir Ris MRT. In all if you're comfortable with Singapore as a foreigner to get there and around with children, then it's a good choice.

Place to sleep near airport that is roomy and relatively clean. However, very musty smell, old and basic, definitely needs a major overhaul. Still has the standards of a chalet, not hotel. What u pay is what u get.

As a Safra member, I have booked the room with a much better rate. The room is quite spacious and I can call in a few buddies to join in the funs. There are facilities and amenities around the resort and you can really enjoy your vacation with no time wasted here. 😜

Stayed in the rainforest family resort for 3D2N for 2A2C. Service is good, room keeper and receptionist very friendly. Room is clean and spacious. Walking distance to 2 mall (E’hub & E’avenue) got cinema/indoor playgroup idea place for a good break. Not forgetting the booking comes with tickets to WWW for the entire stay!

I went to this chalet to celebrate birthday party and was told he bbq pit need to be cleared by 11pm and we did our part in clearing the pit before 11pm but we did not know we couldn't hangout and sit on the bench outside our rooms. I mean what's the point of having BBQ and gathering if you people scared others might complain if there's noise? If want to complain so much dont come to chalet, just stay home better!!!

Not my first time visiting/staying in D’Resort but this time, the experience is poor. Staff are prompt and friendly, but unfortunately we are allocated a room in the block that is doing repainting. Though I understand repainting is part of refreshing the resort, it’s poor planning that I took issue with. I have 2 young kids that still need to take afternoon nap and the painting is right outside my door that caused strong paint smell to be in the room. What’s more harmful is the VOC fumes that will stay in the air for a few days, and it’s almost like being poisoned by VOCs in our sleep, so we rather open the balcony door and deal with mozzies or bugs instead. Even as an adult, I feel nauseous and have got a headache from the strong chemical smell. If you have very young kids (especially those with allergies or weaker respiratory system) and coming over this year-end holiday, please ensure to check with front desk on their repainting plans and see if it affects the room you are allocated to. Nobody wishes to pay for a holiday to have selves or kids get short/long term health effects caused by VOCs. Otherwise, it’s really a great family-friendly location to be in the East.

D'Resort @ Downtown East is a hidden gem with a touch of adventure. Set amidst nature, the cozy rooms and exciting activities are complemented by the added joy of BBQ pits. It's not just a stay; it's a flavorful escape. Embrace the lush surroundings, enjoy a dip in the pool, and savor the moments with a barbecue feast. Perfect for families seeking a blend of relaxation and fun, D'Resort is a haven away from the ordinary.

Location is good next to Pasir Ris beach. And they have access to the water park. Apart from they don't have any activities or games. It was just boring to stay there. They could have added some games or fun activities in their amenities

Had a 2D1N stay here last weekend since its the kids school holiday. Check in was smooth even though the queue was long. Thank you to Syah who helped with the check in process and numerous queries we had 😅 WWW tickets are only for union members (silver ntuc card) managed to get 2 pair of adult ticket for each room as well as affordable concession parking specially for guests. The rooms were located in the Hotel block. And i love how clean and spacious it is. My child was excited too as there is a playground right outside the room. Love the beach view of my room too! Only downside are no tissue paper in the room and no bidet but will definitely be back for a longer stay! 🥰

The rooms were very clean and well-maintained. No noise aside from the occasional tour group coming and going - which is normal for any hotel. The staff were wonderful from front desk to housekeeping. Everyone was always pleasant and able to handle any Qs we had. In particular, I would like to extend a big THANK YOU to Hayati and her colleague Venessa. My elderly father fell in his room one night and cut his hand. My mom took him down to the front desk to borrow a first-aid kit. Hayati who was on duty immediately leapt into action. She disinfected and bandaged his wound for him, talking patiently to my parents. They also helped to call for a ride to the 24-hour clinic nearby. When we got there, the doc said his wound had already stopped bleeding and that my dad will be fine. Our family deeply appreciates your staff's timely and compassionate assistance. Thank you all once again!

It was great. Definitely one of the best accommodations I had stayed in and got the chance to stay there for my birthday staycation from 24-25th Feb which was just recently. Hotel staff was nice and kind and didn't scold us for late check out, and even though we combined the four single beds together to give us more space to sleep, the staff didnt scold and willingly helped to clean which I am sure they will. They gave me a box of chocolates to suprise me for my birthday after hearing that I booked to celebrate my 21st birthday party!

D resort never disappoints at least in my experience. Easy check in and check out process. From lobby to room, walkway area is well maintained. Maintenance services are responsive should you need their assistance even though more than likely you probably won't have to. Compliments to those working in the front line to the back end to ensure tip top up keeping of keeping the place smelling good and in excellent condition. I hope the management consider giving you all a pay raise. One advice I would like to give to house keeping team. Please ensure that the internal gutter trap is cleared off debris like hair and what not because this could cause water to back up and cause slow draining of water in the shower area. Otherwise, thanks for doing a good job in ensuring that everything else is in top condition. Enjoyed my stay throughout. For visitors local and foreign, do consider it this place as one of the top choices for your stay.

Popular for gatherings and easy access to local delights plus Wild Wild Wet for water play. Pasir Park is just next door for nature lovers. This location is tucked in a less populated part of Singapore. Resort is a bit of hit and miss. Clean and well-kept. The bbq crowds can get too noisy. One chair for a room up to four, where would the rest sit? They ran out of pillow when we asked- is it possible for a big resort? Perhaps, they could put it in writing some of their unusual policies. Good stay for couple of days, and for exploring the surroundings.

Rooms were big and clean abit dusty though. Pillow cases smelt even though we changed them 3 times but Peter really tried to help in this situation. Self service to take bags to room Staff were all very professional and helpful No breakfast included Resort itself is very nice and clean great location connected to the mall via a bridge. Lots of small lizards around the resort outdoors.

Had a good staycation over the weekends! Especially BBQ till 11pm! Location wise, I think is still accessible via buses & overall, good place for family to relax & enjoy! Don't forget to go wild wild wet! It's a must if you're going to stay over!

  • 5/5 Luna T. 10 months ago on Google
After renovations, the resort does look a little more modern compared to how it looked in the past. Our room was a little further from the mall area so it takes about 10 mins walk each time between downtown east and the room. BBQ pits are extra-charge on top of room rate, do note. Our booking came with 4 free day-passes to wild wild wet. A real huge plus! Not sure if it was an on-going promotion or it has become the norm. Do check prior book to avoid double booking of wild wild wet tickets.

Everything about our stay was immaculate. From the friendly and helpful front desk personnel - Syah and Afiqah - to the room, and the benefits that comes with the stay. The room was clean and big for the price paid, and we even got tickets to Wild Wild Wet every day of our stay. Highly recommend!

Decent homestay like hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. Hard to reach by public transport or by foot. You get a discount for the water park nearby, but it is not worth it's money. Each slide is controlled by a lifeguard and they leave completely unreasonable wait times between two riders. Basically the other person has to finish the slide, get out of the end pool, get dressed, go home and retire before the next one can slide. Especially annoying as they are understaffed and half of the slides are closed at any time. In the end you can probably slide about 8 times in the time the park opens.

The hotel is great value for money if you are not planning to sleep. Very poor soundproof. We were allocated next to a noisy room, we had zero sleep for our 1 night layover in Singapore before our early flight. The guests next to our room decided to start arguing and screaming on top of their voice, swearing and carry on from 11pm all the way to 1.30am. The couple next door were so aggressive and loud, we had to stay awake in case they break our door opened. It's a very frightening experience. We called the Reception 3 times and the noise eventually stopped. Not sure they got kicked out or they killed each other! I wouldn't stay there even if they decided to pay me to stay. My poor daughter was woken up by the swearing and aggressive noise and couldn't stop shivering after that. What a nightmare!

The place was nice, clean and very family oriented. It was closed to a lot of activity places for the family to do. My downside, they need to train their staff better. For someone who does hospitality, they were not very hospitable. We had few luggage and obviously struggling with them, they were just reluctant to show us how to get to our room. I had to come back for another direction, on the of them came with us but not even offering to help with the bags. They could have done heaps better on that.

Super impressed with this place for a quick stopover. 15mins drive from airport. Large clean room (room 509) with views of the sea. Close to a mall if you need any food/snacks and a huge park nearby for a stroll to stretch jet-lagged-legs. Staff were lovely, but check-in was a tad slow due to lack of desks.

The room is big and comfortable, but unfortunately there is no chair in the lobby, and there is no place to wait for a taxi. The location is good, and there is a very large shopping plaza next door. You can go shopping for a long time, and you can also have meals

I have mixed feeling for this place. On one hand it has good vibe of surroundings and resort feel, on the other hand it hardly a three star hotel but it is listed as four star. Not even tissue box is provided for guests… It does have a lot of activities to do in and around the area so it is good to bring family here and chill

Stayed in the mangrove room, facing the park. Love the big room, comfy beds. Fridge and aircon are very noisy… which we usually turned it off at night to sleep. Many bad and good memories over the past 3 weeks in D’resort, but I would still like to thank all the staff who have served us during our quarantine! Keep up the good work! 👍

We were traveling as a group and got a great experience staying in this resort. I reserved a 4 bed room and it's a great room, clean and comfortable. Long but convenient access directly to the mall is a plus point. Our little complaint is for the transportation toward and from the resort. Although the shuttle is provided, the coach was small and the passangers were quite a lot. And people with luggage are the most inconvenient ones. Taxi or Grab cars also rare. But overall, we are enjoying our stay here.
