Best dim sum in Geylang area, located at sims ave. We ordered in total 6 dishes + 3 egg tarts with 2 drinks for S$36. We got a table at the bottom of the restaurant, place is a bit noisy because of the music. The century egg congee was very yummy and it was really filling, the fried yam is tasty as well. Dim sum are good, was a bit disappointed by the green onion pancake, it was a bit oily and didn't really like the filling.

24/7 Tim Sum. Great varieties. The chicken wings are tasty. Century Egg + Tofu + cucumber is unique. The coffee is presentation is interesting. Weekdays, no crowd. Best time to enjoy. ๐Ÿ˜„

This restaurant used to be popular for supper diners. The dim sum was good before, however, it's totally off this time around when I visit. The menu is old and the photos are blurry and the description is unclear. It's overpriced. Lastly, the service staff are tactless and rude. The restaurant needs a makeover. It's an unpleasant supper. There are better dim sum restaurants in Singapore. Everyone should give it a pass.

Dim Sum I tell ya. Is different when you have it as an adult. We are more critical and judgmental on the food and way less patient when it come to waiting for a table. But when the food bangs and hits, thatโ€™s some good reminiscence. 126 place always pack at any time of the day. It even has a patio sitting overlooking the busy streets of the Geylang hood. And lots of movement, plates coming in, going out, people ordering and drinking the homemade ice drinks on this kitchen plastic containers. Love the feeling. Lot different from the other dim sums but this is a place that you donโ€™t wanna miss out.

We heard so much about this restaurant and finally got a chance to taste the food today. Located at Sim Avenue, parking (mostly parallel parking) spaces are hard to find. The restaurant closes at 2.30pm for lunch and we arrived at 1.15pm, just in time and queued for less than 10min. The restaurant is small and squeezy, like those Dim Sum shops in Hong Kong. Food was served quickly after placing our order. There is a wide selection of dishes, and most are good. Prices, ranging from $2.80 to $6.00, are slightly more expensive than normal. The "good" dishes are the Seafood Roll, Crab Meat Siew Mai and Lotus Leaf Glutinous Rice. The "not-so-good" dishes are the Century Egg Porridge (very bland) and Xiao Long Bao. Overall, we had a good lunch.

Dim sum at 1 star rating. A business that doesn't care to improve itself as this terrible quality persists from way before the pandemic. Overpriced for the shameful quality that they offer. Look at my photos to judge for yourself. As for the taste, it is as bad as the picture shows. Go there if you do not care about quality dim sum.

Location: easily located at the road side. Parking wise have to find a slot in the night but during the day it is easy to find. Price: Expensive for dim sum price. Service: Average nothing much bothers us when we are there in the morning Food: I would like to say it is average

Been a while since I came here to eat. The place looks better than last time, got more space to walk in between the tables. Always confused before ordering, because of so many choices and a lot of unique dim sum that you will not find at other places. The taste is great and the fried stuff are pipping hot, which mean they prepare it after you order.

Most excellent hawker dim sum food. True Singapore experience, sitting outside in the heat next to the street. Couldn't ask for better. I do believe they have indoor dining, they were really busy. My favorite was the seaweed wrapped pork, but it was all so good.

Boarderline bad service, but thankfully the food is good so it saved the day. We really like that the porridge is served thick and hot. The fried carrot cake and KING Siew Mai are great too, especially with the house chilli. We came here for supper at 1030pm and wasnโ€™t disappointed. Perhaps just need a better staff to bring customers in as we waited outside while there are many seats available.

Over rated. Over priced Expensive bad tasting dim sum. Mango banana roll - who will use sour mango? U think is thai mango salad? Mayonnaise sauce at addition $0.50, what? Doesn't it comes with the rolls? Micro Ha kao with fishy prawns taste, chives dumplings with smelly oil taste. Oh my, any dim sum shop in Malaysia taste better than this... No going back for this. A big X. Bye.. no see u. Zero points from me.

Old long time dim sum eatery in the east. They have updated their menu and the price. Food is still good but guess inflation hits for everyone. Damage at $28 for 2 pax cheers

I leave this review because i canโ€™t find it wonโ€™t for that rating, and I came here for meal is due to the rating; which I bring my overseas friends here. When more customers come to this shop, staff is not turning on more light instead turning it off; I know itโ€™s in a morning but if you have been there, you know the sunlight canโ€™t go inside. There seems to be many foods on the menu but taste is just very so so. I would opt for another restaurant nearby which they even donโ€™t have a rating. Iโ€™m shock that many people do a review on this shop. Really shock.

Around 4 stars - friend recommended to try non conventional dim sums which are better than the usual like har gao, siu mai. Food quality: Better than average. Delectable options to choose from. The non conventional food do surprise to the upside and arenโ€™t as crazy as they might sound! No tea though they serve other cold drinks. Food portion / Price: Average portions, around $6-7 per dish. Service: Fast and attentive. Food is served rather quickly and warm. Crowd: Expect a crowd especially during meal time. Open for supper as well. Payment: Card, cash accepted.

Had a nice dinner at about 6pm just before the dinner rush hour. Service was prompt and food was great! Some nostalgia and resemblance of a cha chan ting inside. Overall quality of food is great and deserve a return!

Was quite speechless when the food came as the portion is SO TINY for its price especially the chasaobao, liushabao without salted egg (both steamed and pan-fried). Everything tastes decent (except the liushabao without salted egg you can skip it). Nothing outstanding. For the portion I would say it's extremely overpriced and not worth for me to come back here.

Iโ€™ve always heard good reviews about 126 from friends and colleagues, and was really excited for my first visit. Unfortunately, the food quality and taste were subpar, at times even below average. Additionally, food prices were on the higher end. That said, Iโ€™ll give credits to their fried carrot cake and char siew pau which were pretty decent! Now if the review ended here, it would have been 2-3/stars. What caused the 1-star review was due to their poor service. The service staff was cold, rude, and at times offensive. Whilst making our first order verbally, the staff rudely cut us off, slammed the paper and told us to write our orders. We could say maybe itโ€™s busy and that manpower is low. However, we arrived at the store at 6pm where there wasnโ€™t much of a crowd, so thereโ€™s no excuse there. The last straw was when we ordered egg tarts. The staff offered us tarts that were cold and packaged in plastic boxes. You could tell they were not fresh. When we kindly requested for fresh egg tarts, or a way to reheat them, the staff (another one) brushed us off again. She insisted that those were the last egg tarts, and did not offer to reheat them. Lo and behold, whilst leaving the store, we saw another lady BAKING FRESH EGG TARTS! Upon clarification, it was indeed for customers that night. Maybe the staff were having a bad day, but the poor service, subpar food quality coupled with high prices is an experience Iโ€™ll never want again. Despite that, I hope 126 can improve and become better ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Old school dim sum that hit the spot on a rainy morning. My personal fave is the century egg pork porridge. Ordered siew mai, har kou, beef ball soup (very nice soup), and other delicious. If driving, recommend to park near Kallang mrt and walk over, a stroll before and after a hearty meal.

My first time here for brunch yesterday, but went with my family some of whom have been here before. The dim sum was quite alright, fast to arrive for our hungry stomachs, offering a lot of variety, although I had hoped for a bit better quality given how much this place had been talked about over the years. The service was disappointing though. We politely asked for a bit more mayonnaise (just two more small dips) because it was running out for one of the dishes (ordered multiples of it), to which the staff initially firmly told us we have to pay extra for it because we had so many people eating. How does that even make sense, more people and more dishes means more food for revenue, so how can that be a bad thing? They were also not willing to assist with the takeaway part. Just outside toilet and hand washing area is a huge safety hazard because it was extremely slippery, especially dangerous for the elderly. Parking lots not easy to find during peak hours too but there is a multi storey car park across the road if needed.

The quality of this place really dropped since the last time we visited a few years ago - everything was just ok, not memorable or tasty. Service was relatively quick and place clean, but we will probably not be back. Probably the best dish was the char siew pau.

Shiok ah! Recently had a family makan session at 126 Dim Sum Wen Dao Shi ๆพๅˆฐ้ฃŸand it was on point, man! If you're in the mood for some dim sum delights, this place is a must-try lah! We went all out and ordered their duck porridge, century egg porridge, mango banana ball, fried chicken wings, fried rice, spring rolls, fried char siew puffs and more! The duck porridge looks so unassuming but after stirring and tasting it, I was so blown away! The braised sauce with mini duck pieces was so yummy... While writing this, I wish to eat again! Don't get me started on the fried rice... We thought it was another regular fried rice... but so good till the kids licked everything off the plate! 126 Dim Sum Wen Dao Shi, you've got us wanting more!

Not all dim sum and dishes are nice here, but it is popular for opening till late hours. If u come, I will recommend these: 1. Curry chicken chee cheong fun, which is unique and done pretty well, 2. Paper wrapped chicken - very tasty and well cooked 3. Big baos ๅคงๅŒ… with pork - skin is soft and meat is fresh 4. Their drinks - order earlier so that the ice will melt as you eat - lime juice, sea cocounut with longan, barley were all good

This place services nice dim sum. The porridge is just the way we like it. Was there years ago but now the place has a facelift inside thus feels fresh.

The place I used to go for supper as a teen. It's still a great place for traditional dim sum with no frills. Food and service prices are a little higher, but that is to be expected considering they are open 24 hours a day.

Very happy we found this place with so many pros: - commutable, 200meters from a bus stop - great selection of affordable food - ordering is easy even if you canโ€™t speak Chinese / Mandarin (sorry I donโ€™t know!) via a qr code menu - food itself was tasty, we ordered 15 different dishes (between 3 people) Only con to be honest is majority of staff canโ€™t speak English so it was difficult to communicate when they had to modify one of our orders. But yes that only applies to a portion of their customers like myself so I wouldnโ€™t deduct points for that. Overall, happy find that is open for 24 hours, will definitely be coming back regularly.

Came back with a few friends was supper. Wait time quick, but servics was slow. While the taste of the food is maintained the portions were getting smaller and smaller. My friend found the fresh bake egg tart nice. All kind payments are accepted here and we stay and chit chat for a long while after we finish our food, ordered a 2nd rounds of drinks. For a location this late at night with tasty food everything is good, however the toilet is really mess up. I had to use the one around the conner at the coffeeshop.

I usually prefer regular egg tart > Portuguese egg tarts but if youโ€™re in luck for their Portuguese egg tarts fresh from the oven, Iโ€™d say GO FOR IT. The flaky pastry is perfection.. and the custard is not too sweet if youโ€™re wondering. Other Dishes I love are the fried beancurd/Chee Cheong fun/ congee/honey lemon tea. Menu is super messy and not all dishes are good but idk why I just quite like this place, might be the traditional hk old dim sum shop vibe

๐Ÿ‘ The Sao Lou and Hot Fun noodles are pretty good overall. But the service is a little chaos due to the crowd. Felt like we are fighting for the waiter attention all the time. Not to mention, ordered 8 dishes and came only 6. Need to brush up on the service during peak hours.
