Extremely tardy service and so so food. Definitely not worth the wait nor the price paid for it. Don't come unless you've three hours to burn and no appetite to kill. The mains came only two hours after the start of the meal, and by that time any goodness the meal had was matched with an extremely bad aftertaste. Forgettable Starters, can't make it carparccio, just trying too hard tomato. Spaghetti - no amount of expensive truffle can mask the proletariat waft of Kraft cheese smell. Should have just had my TV mac and cheese. Desserts were deplorable. Rather depressing to end a meal that way, and honestly a mere hindrance to getting home. Truly a one star restaurant, just not one star Michelin.

Would recommend to everyone. The interior is cosy and posh. I was ushered in to my table and the very kind lady waiting staff had made sure there was space for my bag. The exterior has parking and could be tricky if it’s raining. The food was great. Lunch menu could change but they will ask you beforehand if you have dietary restrictions. Overall service was very good due to the lady staff, but the snobbish older male staff was not respectful and has the typical gender bias when I was speaking he just ignored me and directed his attention to my partner instead. In the end, the wine the male staff recommended was not enjoyed by either of us at all. Other than that, everything was great. I’d bring my friends back for sure.

Wonderful culinary experience from the start till the end. The location and ambiance is welcoming and cosy, the staff is friendly and took great care of us, the food is delicious, high attention to details and wonderful ingredients from all over the globe. The chef is very talented and creative. The sommelier chose some amazing wines and champagne to pair the dishes with. Amazing experience.

Had a lovely 4 course lunch on New Year’s eve! Service was impeccable and didn’t disappoint! I couldn’t decide which was my favourite course as each of them was superb and put together perfectly. Thank you for the great experience! Would love to return soon :)

Sorry, we went there for a birthday and wanted to have a good time with fine Italian dinner. It's suppose to have a Michelin star, but we honestly think they don't deserve it. It was good but not great. Looks like fine dining but quality & taste of dishes are not that star level for sure, and way too expensive for what you get. Hope they will improve.

Delighted & enjoyable fine dining experience. Roger is very nice & friendly in helping us to select the wine. His recommendation is awesome. We enjoyed Heletto very much. The food is decadent.Especially the yellowtail carpaccio, Mozambique Scampi. Thank you for the birthday special dessert. My only comment is to slow down the serving pace. Feels a bit rush..

Visited in Sep 2023 A fantastic dining experience. The dry-aged duck main course was absolutely fantastic and so was the fish/turbot main course dish. The beef carpaccio course was also brilliant. The restaurant doesn’t have a non-alcoholic pairing and that’s probably a small area where they can improve their ‘value proposition’. Service was top notch. A definite recommendation for a classy dinner experience

Food was not bad but not good enough as a Michelin restaurant and services is definitely not up to the standard. Tomato soup and the pasta were the 2 highlights among all dishes. The fish was huge disappointment for 1) taste of caviar has overpowered the fish itself 2) the sauce was poured in front of us and as you can see from the photos - one has a lot more oil vs the other one as it’s poured from the same container… I would expect more professional/thoughtful serving arrangements from a Michelin restaurant. If you go with the standard experienced menu, the price was relatively reasonable compared to other Michelin restaurants. $58 add on for the wagyu if you are not a fan of quail for the main.

A contemporary Italian restaurant located within the heart of Orchard. Made a reservation for our anniversary dinner on a weekday night and the restaurant was pleasantly quiet. We had the 5-course set dinner with the choice to top up for pastas and mains. I had the white truffle pasta and steak while the hubby had the squid ink pasta and pigeon. It was interesting how they presented the white truffle in a wooden box and shaved the truffle right on my pasta. The staff were friendly and offered to take photos for us for the special occasion. Overall a pleasant dining experience.

Second experience here. Was given a private dining room as we had a party of 8. The dishes were very different; think the party size allowed for the chef to produce a different range of food like the salt baked turbot. Overall, delicious and balanced with an Italian family style vibe.

Been meaning to visit this restaurant for a while as we have heard good things from our friends and finally went there for lunch and tried their 4 course lunch. Ambience of the restaurant in a refitted colonial style black and white bungalow is beautiful, well spaced out seats and has a chic modern feel. All the dishes we tried were delicious, good portion sizes, every course was delicate, showed very good techniques and for Italian cuisine it was modern but still had the right touch of Italian classic feel to it. Wine pairing was good but in my opinion wasnt exceptional but they do have a extensive wine menu selection. Overall a well deserved Michelin star restaurant and well done to the Chef and the team for a great dining experience.

We had a beautiful lunch here at Buona Terra. It was my 2nd visit and the dishes were all delicious and yummy. Service was attentive and the staff were not pushy for patrons to order more wine or drinks. The white truffle supplement of $88+ was worth adding to the set lunch and we loved having the presentation of the box of white truffles.

Delightful 9 course dinner that left our pallets satisfied and bellies very bloated. Although I really liked the spaghetti and risotto.. both dishes were very rich and rather heavy, which left me little room before the Wagyu was served. In retrospect think I would have gone for the duck as although the A5 wagyu was a beautiful medium rare, the marbling was so thick that it was a little too oily for me, I felt especially even so after the two creamy dishes. Really liked the “Torta di Mele” but didn’t have space left for the other desserts and had to have them packed. Still nice ambience and impeccable service. Would recommend the place if you want to indulge a little for a special occasion.

Excellent contemporary Italian. Lots of standouts. Good flow to the palate. Very well balanced. Not a fan of paying for supplementary on top of the course meal price but the carabinieros and wagyu were top notch. Starters to petit fours and everything in between were excellent. Good job. Worthy of a Michelin star.

A sensational lunch which well exceeds its price point of $178++ per pax. The only criticism would be that the bread course was uninspiring, but who cares? It’s free anyway. Canapés started with their signature playful tomato soup. Using trompe l’oeil to make it look like tomatoes it’s actually a soft shell with tomato gazpacho encased within. The scallop tartare with avocado and tomato jelly was wonderfully light with all the elements working in harmony. The cod mousse taco was nice but overshadowed by its two counterparts. The first course started with a bang, yellowtail finished table side with a horseradish snow. Light, refreshing and full of flavour with an added air of theatricality for good measure. The second course was Mozambique langoustine which was the highlight of the menu. Sitting on top of a creamy anchovy sauce. The sweetness of the langoustine was a perfect complement to the (not-too) salty sauce. While the gem lettuce added some crunch to contrast with the soft and plump shellfish. This course was pure delight from start to finish! The pasta course was an elevated carbonara which utilised cured egg yolk. It was not too heavy which was a pleasant surprise. The main was veal with white asparagus coated in sabayon in a moscato sauce. The veal was cooked to perfection and the kitchen, once again, demonstrate their attention to detail by ensuring that each dish consists of an equal balance of flavours and textures. The palate cleanser was finished table side with a prickly pear granita, highly refreshing after two somewhat heavier courses. The dessert was the chef’s take on semifreddo using Marsala grapes, dessert wine sauce and clotted cream. Wonderful and I loved the bitterness of the grapes and wine sauce. Overall a spectacular meal, one of the best michelin-starred lunches one can grab in Singapore that showcases high quality ingredients, inventiveness while also not ripping a gigantic hole in one’s pocket. The setting of the restaurant is intimate and perfect for a date or a more private business meeting. Staff are warm, attentive and knowledgeable (and also take good photos). Definitely worth a visit.

A very highly recommended restaurant. You'll experience great service, great food, great wine and you're sure to have a full belly with immense satisfaction. I'd say Buona Terra has done really well in making the fine dining experience a pleasant one as you get to experience different flavours combined together that exceeds your expectations.

A bit disappointed. We ordered raspberry lychee mousse cake and dark chocolate tart (as can be seen from our receipt) but because we were in a rush, we only realised they put in the wrong order when we got home (can be seen from photo attached, they gave us strawberry tart instead of the cake) My family was specifically looking forward to the lychee cake since it was recommended to us by a friend. We still ate them, tarts still taste good, but this lapse in service was a little disappointing.

1st time at their restaurant for dinner. Nice colonial place. Restaurant itself felt inviting. Staffs were all smiling when greeted & warmed when serving food. Food were great. Wine pairing was generous. Recommended.

Modern Italian restaurant serving interestingly innovative dishes especially the amuse bouches. Wine pairing was generous and well thought out - always a nice way to find new wines if a restaurant gets it right! Service was good. Small but well spaced and clean relaxed ambience.

We had a biz dinner in this restaurant where our friend visited very frequently, almost 3-4 times in a week as he told us, therefore it felt like his own kitchen at home as every staff knows him and all are very friendly. He even doesn't need to check the menu just aligned with the chef for what food/raw material they have... The private room is quite large that can accommodate 8to10 pax at most, they also have their own parking just in front of the restaurant, very convenient The most important is their dishes are so yummy from starters, mains to desserts, and very presentable Recommended

Ambiance - nice clean modern and nicely spaced table. We are not back-to-back to other tables. Good lighting, we get to see and identify what we are presented with. Service - standard for the kind of restaurant. The food - the free appetizers were good looking but don’t taste like much. But the tomato soup was good. The set menu was enjoyable in taste and in portions that we were satisfied and comfortable. I wished the deserts were better, it was below par for my taste.

Gabriele and his team are consummate professionals. They are the most knowledgeable about, and provide the best service for, fine wine in Singapore. Food and especially pasta dishes all superb.
