Made an appointment for a PCR test (they give you the time slot), waited two hours in a crammed together in a group of lines to register for my pcr test. Absolutely abismal, barely any AC, and total confusion. One guy next to me was a “walk in” and he waited for 4.5 hours to be seen. Why they still accepted walk-ins when they couldnt even manage those with appointments is crazy. Do not get your PCR test here.

As a public listed company, there's definitely some level of consistencies with their brand named clinics and services. But also as a public listed company, it's quite obvious (to me) that the goal of making profits is quite evident in many interactions with their brand names. If you're insured coming here, I wouldn't be that entirely worried since there's not much / not any out of pocket. But if not, I'm sure there are better medical names in Singapore that I'd trust more. Just a point to note as a Singaporean, some of my better specialists, are unfortunately not with Raffles.

Understand that covid period the hospital staffs is busy. However 4.30pm to 10.30pm without updating patient’s family of the condition. 6pm I went in to the Critical ward check and after that I have called twice, 7.33pm and 10.22pm to ask on updates on my grandmother. Totally no update till I made a complaint on their hotline at 10.22pm for my grandmother condition and called again to get their ward nurse to let me know on the ward n bed number. Comparing with government hospital, Raffles hospital service is really sub par. In between the 6hours, I did not even receive any call from Raffles Hospital till I call up and prompt them at 10.22pm.

Overall the care offered by Raffles has been good so for that I have given 1 star and would give 4 stars. However I would have to give their communication negative 10 stars. It is nearly impossible to reach anyone. I have waited on hold for the appointment line at times for over an hour. I have also tried to reach the Holland Village location over and over and literally no one ever picks up. Does not matter how many times you call, the time you call, the day you call. Ive tried for weeks, no response. When I did finally manage to get an appointment by email and was at the clinic I saw the administrative staff literally just ignore the calls and NEVER pick up the phone. I feel bad because the staff were helpful in other ways but how do you just never pick up your phone?! People are calling to get important information about test results and to get appointments and they just ignore? I guess it all comes down to money and them not wanting to pay for more staff so they can respond to patients in a reasonable amount of time. Raffles do better!

Did PCR here and came along with my wife another for her appointment. Not a bad experience compared to the reviews given. The security guard was kind of rude but that was not the most important. Staff service was alright though one staff asked me to wait at Starbucks when I asked where my wife had gone for her PCR. I was like thinking duh, my car parked in this building and she asked me to go out? Could have been better trained in customer service. The facilities are clean though.

Writing on behalf of my aunt: Dad was warded in Raffles hospital on 11 July due to fluid overload. He was given treatment in ICU and was transferred to general ward on 14 July. About 3 days in general ward, I noticed that his hands were trembling and his speech seems to be unclear. I informed the nurse and told the nurse to check with doctor and update us. No updates were given. When I visited dad the next day, he was restless and looks a little confused and speech is still unclear. When I informed the nurse, she said doctor did noticed that dad seems to be a little confused. Asked for another update and again no response was given. Dad was discharged on 20 July afternoon but with a bit more confusion and slurred speech. We asked the nurses again that it is ok for patient to be discharged. The response given was doctors are comfortable with dad’s blood test results and is good to be sent home. Dad’s condition turned worst in the evening...he was not able to recognise us and starts to talk to himself. The entire family did not sleep for that night as he keeps talking to himself and we are afraid that he will fall. We admitted dad to Tan Tock seng hospital on 21 July. He was in a daze, stares into space and talks to himself oblivious to the surroundings. He could not even answer what is his name and his address. Dad is still currently warded and is still confused and disorientated. Doctors are still investigating and checking why did dad turn to such a state. Suspected diagnosis is stroke. How could Raffles discharge a patient when the patient do not look good? Patient’s family informed about the change in patient more than once and yet no updates were given? This is really scary as who would want to put their loved ones in danger by admitting them into an irresponsible hospital?

The female Indian receptionist was not very warm. Where I asked her questions, She was even not willing to answer. The indian physician was pretty warm, but I kinda felt he was in a rush to meet the next patient. At last, it took me 30 minutes to wait for checking out.

Special shout out to Megna and her team of staff nurse at level 9 ward. I’m warded at bed 977 after severe reaction from covid vaccine. They attended to their patients with very huge compassion and politeness! She introduce herself to me and went to always check in with her patients if they needed any help. The cleaner is also very friendly! I agree the emergency department nurses aren’t as good as the ward nurses, like what was mentioned in the other reviews, their emergency ward nurses doesn’t have customer service. My experience was that they don’t greet and always pull a long face, one of the nurse from emergency send me up but she didn’t bother to offer me wheel chair as she say no more wheel chair, though she carrier my bag, but whole time in the lift she is playing with her phone. No interactions with me or assurance :( Hence I would give 5 stars to the ward nurses at level 9 and 3 stars to emergency nurses Thank you

I personally have very high respects for medical staff those are doing the hospital administrative duties. Unfortunately , it was otherwise when I recently had a day medical procedure in Raffles hospital. I have to admit that the front desk staff at the Day surgery centre didnt keep up the standards, as clearly patients as myself were waiting aimlessly when told that admission is getting prepared. Hope these situations change for good soon.

Went to the GP 2 times and must admit their service is really poor. The nurses were impatient and will treat you like you’re begging them for free healthcare. However, the doctors were okay and did their job. One thing I noticed: The staff will only respect you if you’re white.

Don't do health screening here. My appointment was at 9.10am but I didn't get to see any doctor when I left at 11.10am. I was waiting for more than an hour when I finally went to the counter to ask why it's not yet my turn, why I haven't seen any doctor or done any test yet. There was no structured number and I could not see how far I was from the queue. Also, this is a private hospital so I don't understand why I'm waiting longer than in a polyclinic. The appointment is pointless, just go early in the morning like 8am I had to do fasting for blood sugar test and when they finally started drawing blood at 10.45am, I fainted due to low blood sugar and low blood pressure (I hadn't eaten for more than 15 hours). They only offered me warm water and the nurse even asked if they can continue drawing blood instead of asking a doctor to help me. I was brought back to wait again to see the doctor. And after 20min more of waiting, and overhearing that all the slots for ultrasound are taken, I asked to reschedule to another day. In short, i spent 2 hours at the hospital without seeing a single doctor or completing a single health check. I estimate that it would take 2 visits and roughly 6 hours to complete 1 single health check. Will never return to Raffles Hospital

It is my first time leaving review because I would like to share an inconvenient experience. I made an appointment for medical check up for employment pass at chosen time. But when i reached, I needed to queue 30 minutes to get queue number. After that, I waited for one hour for my queue number to be called to get to the registration. After registration, I waited for more than one hour and half hours for my queue number to be called for doctor's consultation. After doctor's consultation, the doctor asked me to wait until nurse calls me for blood test. I waited for ONE HOUR but my queue number was not called. So I went to the counter and asked is my queue number missed. The staff said need to make payment after the doctor's consultation first then only be able to be called for blood test. I just wasted one more unnecessary hour or more if I hadn't checked with the staff. Wasted more than 3 hours for just one blood test. I understand the whole hospital is very busy and there were a lot of people but I would rather go to small clinic to just get my test done in few minutes. I would have given 0 star if I had an option to.

I have just brought my baby here. It is public holiday, 7pm. The overall experience is excellent. Registration process was fast, helpful and pleasant. We met Dr Gaitri, she is extremely nice and explained to us very detailed. This is also my first time to Raffles Hospital, and used emergency service. I would love to recommend the service here for others.

Never had a poorer experience at another hospital for health checkup. Staff have no idea what they are doing. And registering 10 people takes more than an hour. Didn't tell you how to get queue number. Just left all patients waiting around for nothing. Utterly horrible. Companies please stop assigning Raffles Hospital as the default health checkup for your employees please.

Raffles hospital cannot handle what they promise. More than 1 hour to get the medication because the dispensary staff was closing one counter and the 2nd counter was left empty! Nothing went out from the dispensary counter for more than an hour! Shameful

My wife went there to Raffles Hospital in Bugis and went to GP( March 16th )because had fever a day before. And when was there already had reduced the fever(37°) as took some medicine, and they didn't wanted to check her!!!! Like really? Are strange times with virus and all and ,you as hospital kick out someone that maybe just have a cold only and refuse to attend and send somewhere else.. Any doctor and hospital can't refuse to attend anyone but they escorted her out.. P. S at entrance have a body temperature screen where they monitor the people who go in.. So damn disappointed.

I would give my entire experience negative stars if I could. Super inflexible hospital policies. I had mistakenly purchased the wrong health screening (ladies treasure health), instead of the general health screening. 1. While I acknowledge it is entirely my oversight, the layout of the health screening product on the website can feel misleading. If it was clear that this product that I had purchased was an add-on, and does not include the general and necessary health tests, I would not have purchased it. 2. Upon making the wrong purchase literally 5 minutes after, I tried contacting them but we all know how raffles hospital communication leads to nowhere. When I finally get thru to someone, it was an immediate rejection to transfer my purchase so that I could get the health tests I need. Cherry on top of the pie was that the manager or supervisor from the women’s centre who spoke to me over the phone kept cutting me short. The. Frustration! 3. After several days of speaking to several teams and redirected multiple times AND multiple emails, during the process of which was given inconsistent information between health screening, women’s centre as well as general hotline, all in the hopes of not even getting a refund, but a redirection of my purchase towards the general health tests, I came to nothing. I was told to either keep the purchased product indefinitely or transfer it to someone else but that there would be no exchange or refund. There was ZERO consideration of what the patient needs. 4. I felt forced to undergo tests that I didn’t need or want. 5. Yes, we can transfer the tests to someone else but when it comes to health, these matters are so personal, I simply don’t know how I can go about asking friends or family if they needed ultrasound pelvic examinations or Pap smears. 6. The reason they gave me simply was “audit” processes that they cannot bypass. 7. The amount of frustration I felt throughout the whole process truly, truly has made me so anxious and I never felt understood when it came to my health needs. Seeing that this is a hospital, I wonder if there was someone that could have made an exception or extend some empathy or compassion. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND anyone considering a seamless process of health screening to go through raffles medical. Honestly such disappointing service. I have to say there was one or two individuals that had taken the time to listen, but the overall communication was very poorly. Personally I will never be coming back again, and I know losing one customer isn’t much, but I’m writing this review for anyone else who may need it to prevent such a terrible experience from being repeated.

My experience as an expat is the following: Very poor customer experience. The staff, namely receptionists, are very rude and uncourteous (unless you are white); they should be educated on basic customer service guidelines. A select few of the GP's and Specialist's I've seen do not take a genuine interest in personal health matters, they are more commercially driven than anything, which ironically defeats medical ethics. *Of course this is not representative of all medical practitioners at the hospital* I come from the UK, where healthcare is FREE, and despite this you meet the most professional and caring health practitioners who take a REAL interest in one's well-being. I'm completely astounded by basic lack of interest and care, especially when you are PAYING $$$$$ for a service. Raffles Hospital, I sincerely hope you can take note and address these points.

Yesterday called for an ambulance at 63111555. Dialled for a good 15 mins but no one picked up my call. Then proceeded to call the operator for assistance, waited for a good 15 mins to no avail and the operator, Valerie Han advised there was “an” emergency case so have to wait 30 min for a return call “if you can wait”. When asked if there is only one available ambulance, she could not provide an answer and when she was asked to find out, she got very agitated and complained to her colleague that I had asked her to check. A very rude and unhelpful operator, Valerie Han!

Highly incompetent hospital. Nobody picks up phone lines or responds to emails despite multiple follow ups. Sent me a bill 2 years later for a consultation stating that its "overdue" and they will charge interest. Hello? You forgot to send me the invoice and want to blame it on your patients for your own administrative error? Think about it, if they can't handle the basics, what makes you think they can handle what on the operating table. I suggest it is safer to mark yourself which leg/arm/bodypart needs to be fixed before these jokers cut off the wrong part.

Health screening: So much time waiting even I didn’t see lots of patients. After seeing the doctor, I waited for nearly 45 mins. I checked with the staff and then I was called for X-ray only after that. And now I’m still waiting for next item in the list. I can see lots of waiting time between. I came at 9am, now nearly 2 hours passed and I have done seeing doctor and xray only. Raffles Hospitals needs to reassess the whole process to make it more efficient and more pleasant for patients.

I think carefully before giving such a bad review, specially knowing how hard hospital care is. But I must say that I felt like the admin team care very little about it's patients and are solely driven by financials. So basically they didn't make any effort to take care of my 6 year old daughter till I behaved like a demanding customer, which is not something I ever wish to do, specially when my young child's health is at play. Ultimately I don't think it's the admins fault but it's just the management's philosophy. In any case, I cannot recommend this hospital.

Most departments and doctors are ok. I do want to share though that Dr Tan psychiatrist misguided us and gave us incorrect information. I was under her care and after 2 medicines did not work for me she said that there was no more treatment options for me... At the time we thought this was true and it was very disheartening. It was only after a year that when I did my own research and consulted other doctors that I found there are several other treatment options for me and that she has grossly misguided us.

My mum was in severe pain. After checking and everything the doctor admitted her. They told to wait for 10minutes as they said the bed wasn't ready. Unfortunately, i waited for 1hour+. I asked the doctor again they said its still not ready. I dont understand why they had to take so long just to prepare the bed. While waiting, i wanted to go out for awhile so i told the doctor on duty nicely. Assuming that she would show me the way, sadly no perhaps she reply to me rudely. I had wait at the A&E for few hours just to went up to the ward. I dont mind waiting if she is not in pain, but now the situation is she is in severe pain and she was shivering. In conclusion, i want say that please bucked up your services and please train your doctors properly.

Uniquely Raffles I strongly do not recommend TCM at Raffles. 1)Difficult appointment making system: Started my first visit end of 2019. I was recommended a non local chinese physician. Consultation was an agony as the needles did not go through the right accu points. The accupressure service performed was sub-standard too. Subsequently I decided a change of physician since there are about 13 others there. It was almost an impossible task as the clinic staff cited all other physicians as being unavailable and she advised me to stick to the previous Chinese lady as she was available. After numerous (really very hard) tries, finally I managed to secure a Japanese physician. Things then went smoothly for a couple of months. 2) Compromised trust between physician & patient In Jul 2020, I went back to the Japanese physician for treatment. After a discussion, I asked if it would be better to supplement accupressure to treat my pain which had been lingering for a month. He agreed to it and asked me to make an appointment at the counter. The nightmare then began. There the staff told me it was NOT POSSIBLE as the accupressure treatment needs to be discussed to be decided if it would be suitable. I was puzzled. So I explained, I just got out of the physician's room in which he had asked me to make the appointment. But apparently after a good more than 20 min to 30 min of clarification in which the physician also came out of the room to only be told it was impossible for accupressure appointment be made. He made a U-turn and suggested it to be better to stick to acupuncture at that moment. It appeared the staff at the counter had more authority over my physician. The physician looked helpless and could only "obey" the counter staff. How can I trust I am under good hands when my own physician's judgement sways according to the staff at the counter? Then that Chinese national appeared and prevented me from making an accupressure appointment saying it wasn't suitable. It is very disappointed that while we pay private rate to seek treatment at a private hospital, we are subjected to this kind of patient management. Having visited both private ranging from Thomson Medical, Mt E, Mt Alvernia to private patient in restructured hospitals, when I choose the specialists of my choice, I have been assured my treatment as private between my physician and me and my choice of physician being respected. I did not feel my privacy as a patient being respected and the trust between my physician's judgement on my treatment is compromised. The reply from QSM is more than disappointing as the excuse given was that the Chinese lady has the authority to intervene my physician's treatment plan although I did not choose her as my physician. I did not choose her. Honestly, I have yet to come across one other (both private & restructured) as unique as this. Thanks but no thanks, Raffles.

This used to be my go-to place for lunch in the past when there was still a Halal food court that had a very delicious Ban Mien stall. It was the stall that made me fall in love with Ban Mien till today. Other stalls served great food, too, until the eatery had to make way for the Hospital’s upgrading renovations. Since then, I have lost touch with the new Food Court available downstairs at the Basement level. Went there once and found no Halal food stalls or even if there was, it probably didn’t catch my attention.

If you are here for pre employment checkup, youre better off not declaring any underlying medical condition. the female doctor will refuse to listen to your explanation of underlying condition or sign clearance unless you bring specialist memo. even after emailing her with the memo she may refuse the memo for insufficient information. only after i talked to the nurse and explain to her the memo the same information i gave in my first visit, then the doctor accepted. I was jobless and the 1 month delay almost affected my signing of contract.

I am really not going share any star because the call centers and various of your clinics really do not answer the phones. the excuse i get is that they are busy and using covid as the main excuse. come on guys its time to move and not use these an excuse anymore and do your work. I was at the Executive health screening center a month ago an i could hear the phones ringing and the staff just completely ignored the calls. Today ( 21st Dec ) I was desperately trying to call the Raffles clinic at White Sands mall ( 65851279 ) from 10am to 2pm and they were not answering at all. Is this really how Raffles being a hospital clinic serve the people of Singapore ? Really disappointed !

Don’t take COVID test here. We did 2 tests in Singapore to meet COVID requirements. Raffles Hospital is the worst experience we had: slow processing, lots of people organizing the queue but just messing up the process. Made an appointment for PCR. We got there 10 min earlier. However we still waited in line for 3 hours. When there were only one person in front of us, we got pulled away with some of other people to go to the emergency center to do the test because the travel testing center was already crowded with people waiting. We got to the emergency center and STARTED waiting in the queue again (we were second in the line back in the travel center)! The entire process was super slow. Walk-in mixed with appointment and somehow walk-in queue moved faster. Don’t come here.

Came at 8am for a blood test at level 9 specialist clinic (diabetes and endocrine center), and then came back at 10am for doctors review. Not sure what the nurses are doing, despite informing them I’m back, they kept slotting other patients who came later in front of me. When I go and checked on the queue, they kept telling me I’m next. It’s been almost 1.5 hours (now 1130am) of waiting and I’m still next. For the price they are charging, the service is rubbish. No wonder all the bad reviews. 😞 Just avoid this hospital and visit another one. ** I’ve seen the doctor finally and he’s very nice. But for 5 mins review with doctor I waited 1.5 hours omg. Felt the nurses could be more competent

Charged an absurd premium for performing mediocre services to a low standards with a horibble attitude and long wait time. We came to a private hospital seeking good treatment and decent service, and what we got was complete frustration. Waited for an entire day to hear the doctor's review of the test results since the nurse keep slotting us behind other people, and have the audacity to blame us suggesting we should have rushed to the door??? The service they provided is appropriate for a discounted outlet, and definitely not a private hospital. We will never return to this dissappointment of an institution and we suggest you do the same. Find a better hospital which actually cares and tend to your health concerns, with service quality beffiting the premium you spent.

Terrible service from attending doctor. He ruined whatever good impression of Raffles medical I have had. we flew back to see a doctor from a&e because of pus in my nose. I picked raffles because my orthopaedic surgeon from raffles. the doctor in the triage didn't not even bother looking at my problem, very dismissive attitude. barely listening to me. all he wanted to do was just to admit me to transfer me away from him. I have 0 confidence in the kind of care they will provide if the first point of contact is so poor. While I understand his assessment, his bedside manner left alot to he desired. I will NEVER spend my time nor money at this hospital even if I'm dying. Told us "you are welcome to go to another hospital if you disagree with me". we left to go to Mount E instead.

Dr Eugene Khoo really mightless, I go all the way to A&E to get drip and willing to pay. he said nothing to do with drip, drip only can help on dehydration. And asked me to do blood testing and chest x-ray to see if i got pneumonia or not. I said I don’t need it as I am going back to Korea in 6 days. He kept forced me to do and repeated that I need to do blood test or chest xray to check. If they cannot do anything and even no injections can help, what is the reason point patients come down to A&E? He just want me to go all those expensive tests to hit his quota?? This entire hospital is really sucks, last time i come A&E to sew my skin due to glass cut off my skin, then Dr Jonathan who is very inexperienced anyhow sewed my skin and made big scars. They don’t deserve even 1 stars and all the doctors are super mightless. Please DO NOT GO

A horrible blood test experience. The senior sat aside playing with her mobile phone and asked the intern to draw my blood. When the intern couldn't draw my blood, intern asked the senior for help. The senior stood up slowly, put on his gloves and came to check. It takes more than three minutes to draw blood🤦🏻‍♂️The blood drawing needle inserted in the hand is still shaking💉swaying back and forth😡

Came today to 24 hours care as a tourist due to the unknown illness. I spent there like 20 mins and I was diagnosed and given medication. I paid myself around 250 SG for the visit+medication and took a document to refund this amount via my insurance. Was super happy with personal and doctor. Great experience, especially when you are a tourist! Because it’s definitely kind of a nightmare to get sick abroad…

I visited hospital special clinic based on appointments and pre confirmation. Yet, I have been waiting for my turn over an hour and still waiting. The waiting area was crowded with seats crossed out, yet patients still seem booked as per tight time schedule. The operations management of hospital has deteriorated from health screening to specialist clinics.

Sucks! They don't allow you to come to see when you have fever, cough, sort throat and running nose. They give you option to go to Emergency and higher or other clinic? And with consultation charge higher, they don't allow you to come to the building!

Just want to share my experience on the waiting time: The level 2 family medicine clinic is fast (it opens for 7 days a week till 9:45pm), should be seen within 10-15 min usually. My recommended choice especially on Sundays or public holidays. If emergency department, it's faster than usual emergency departments as well, however the exact time depends on how 'urgent or life-threatening' your problem is, i.e. more life-threatening the problem, shorter the waiting time. For a non-life threatening problem, usually within 30 min. All specialist clinics upstairs are by appointment only.

(Translated by Google) I came to Singapore and my skin became so rough that I regularly go to the hospital once a month. The receptionists and teachers are very comfortable and can consult with us in various ways. The hospital is beautiful and you can watch anime on TV so that you don't get bored while your child waits. The pharmacist was also able to explain it carefully. My mum have yet to recover they say she could discharge from the hospital. Also worst thing that non of the staff called and told me anything about my mum case. My mum called and to inform me she can discharge. Without any info of anything from the hospital. Is this even the right thing to do? Doesn't have to inform any next of the kin. If anything could happen to her they don't bother.

Not sure if it was due to the day being really busy and the nurse was rushing and having a bad day...but when my blood sample was taken, I felt as if the nurse darted the needle into my arm. Worst needle experience I had in my life, never have I had an issue with soreness around the area where the needle went in for a blood draw. Arm is still sore after a week. If you have low pain tolerance, highly do not recommend the hospital because nurses there are busy and they might not be the nicest.

But the hospital staff still asked me to write the form and ask me to make a new appointment on the app! And I was asked to pay again, so ridiculous. I said that I had paid once, how could I still pay. The process is too messy.

Went for a teleconsulation at 8:30am with a GP this morning. Was told that medication will be received in 3 hours. No sights of it all the way till 12pm. Made a call to 63112121 and was informed that it will arrive latest by 2pm. Still no sights of it at 2pm. Made another call at 2:30pm and was informed that they had told the rider to expedite the delivery. The rider had informed the staff that latest by 4pm and they had told the rider this is not acceptable and will have to expedite. No sights of it at 4pm. Called back the number above and nobody answer. Am feeling so uncomfortable and painful with my sore throat and with my current pregnant situation, i cant just make do with any medication or lozenges available at home. Was just hoping to receive my prescribed medication asap so I can recover soon and feel better at least. Most horrible experience from Raffles Medical Group. Do not even deserve a star but was forced to give, if not, wouldnt even be able to post this review.

Wasn’t sure why the main hospital ratings was so low. But am here today at the hospital clinic and have experienced the slowest registration team. Waited almost one hour to get registered. Counter team too laid back. They have 4 doctors on duty. And yet the flow of patient is clearing on snail pace. So many negative reviews (including other clinics) and yet it seems like the hospital board does not concern or put efforts in the hospital image. Thumbs down.

Planned a hernia repair surgery a month in advance. Was told that insurance/ letter of guarantee can be settled at pre-admission testing (arranged 2 days before the surgery date). At pre-admission testing, Surgery Centre and Business Centre tells me they’re expediting the sending of forms to my insurance company. Alas, on the day of surgery, Surgery Centre calls me to say that my insurance company has not replied with the letter of guarantee. After making some calls, I find out that Surgery Centre had lied to me - my insurance company confirms that they were actually waiting for the signed forms from the hospital. After spending 3-4hours on calls and talking face-to-face with Raffles Hospital’s Business Centre and Surgery Centre - the conclusion is: THE SURGERY CENTRE IS HIGHLY INCOMPETENT. All this could have been avoided if the surgery centre just looked at the calendar, sent emails that they said they would send and ensured the letter of guarantee was received BEFORE setting a surgery date with me. Now, I’ve to wait for the next available surgery date and while waiting, I have to deal with the pain and take no-pay leave from work. I am livid. Appalled at the terrible lack of consideration for patients.

Level 16, Eye Doctor & nurses are professional. However, always have to wait more than 30 minutes for medications & payment. Out of the time I’m here, either the staff went for a short break (30 min and above) or she chatting with her colleagues/patients on not work related stuff (I could be wrong on this). I didn’t do any procedure here but the staff want to bill me $800+ over, thankfully I clarify before making payment. It was due to the staff mistake by keying sth additional/wrongly.

had a day surgery here at level 7. everything was alright on the surgery day. follow-up process was terrible. firstly, before my procedure they asked me if i required MC and i said yes. after procedure asked me again and i said yes. after discharged and returned home, realised no MC was given. called the hospital and provided them my email for MC. 2 days later still no MC and called again. my email was a totally different one that i filled in and provided them with. was also supposed to receive a call 5 days later for my biopsy result. no calls received. called 7 days later to ask if it is out. nurses told me it is out but no one bothered to give me a call about MY OWN results. i had to call them and schedule my own appointment. then again they read out the same wrong email that i had to correct them for the 3rd time. im not sure if there was any data leakage to this wrong email. very disappointed with this "private hospital service"

Don’t ever come here. I came here when all single rooms in Mt E and Geleagles and other private hospitals were full. Only Raffles hospital had rooms, I wondered why? It costs as much as Mt E or Gleneagles, but the standard of care from the attitude of the specialists and doctors to the professionalism of the nursing and care are very lacking. During consultation, the doctor was scribbling small notes on the front and back of a small note, compared to other doctors who will be typing observations into their computer. First consultation took 1hr, admission took 3.5 hrs. When I came to the room, I was left in darkness, and only after 30min then the ward ppl came to see me. They claimed they needed to read up on my case. The call button was spoilt, the tv control was spoilt, the reading light was spoilt, the bath gel dispenser was empty. It’s a sorry state of maintenance for a $750/night room. The specialist was not very interested to find out what’s happening, this mysteries infection that plagued me for 10 days. I did 1 blood test and he insist I was fine, we will keep you around for 2 days for observation. No further attempt to find out what the infection was about. They keep forgetting to serve me my meals, and often I had to remind them, then they will look all shocked and say, oh you haven’t had your meal yet? Meals was very poor quality food and in very small portions, packed in disposable containers and delivered in a plastic bag. Random ppl pop into the room and utter, oh it’s occupied? I have stayed at public hospital where people were more serious about their work and were more professional at a fraction of the cost. So avoid please, if your life and health depended on it.

Really terrible. Had my MRI scan due to the severity of my leg injury. They told me they will contact me the very next day to schedule a review. There was no call since. I had to call in 3 times on 3 separate days to ask for a follow up review. Again, they told me they will give me a call back, but NO CALLS AGAIN. I will strongly discourage anyone that requires immediate attention to go to Raffles Hospital for treatment.

The nurses were professional and courteous. Unfortunately the medical service leaves much to be desired. Doctor barely went through the condition with the patient so ultimately the patient does not know what went wrong and how to prevent the same thing from happening. The food served was also terrible in terms of taste and presentation. Food was packed in plastic containers and served in a plastic bag. Very clear that the vegetables were cooked from frozen packets. Raffles Hospital also has a very unusual payment process. Asked for my credit card number so they could do a refund after insurer pays them. I said that I could submit the insurance claim myself so I did not need to give my credit card number number but they insisted. Hope my credit card details are not compromised.

I arrived at Raffles Medical at just before 11:40 and checkin for my covid vaccination booster. I approached the counter at 12:20 and asked on progress and if 40min wait for registration was normal. The nurse replied yes it was and asked what vaccine I wanted to which I replied Moderna. She said ok and please to wait for registration. I was then called to register at just after 12:40. It was then that I was informed that Covid vaccination are only Mon to Sat. I found this very poor service as 1) allowed to get a queue number for vaccinations. System should not assign queue number if service is not available 2) big sign advertising Covid vaccination, but no where indicating only Mon to Sat 3) why my registration not attended to promptly when the staff saw my queue was for vaccination 4) why was I asked to remain sitting in queue after approaching counter after 1st 40 min. This was very very poor service that wasted my time when it could have been easily prevented.

the general medical clinic on the 2nd floor at the hospital wing is one of the worst general clinic in singapore. there were a lot of staff at the reception area but they were just chatting among themselves instead of checking if the patients were being attended to. we were here on a weekday afternoon and there were not many patients. yet a few of us waited a long time and when we went to ask the reception all they said was "please take a seat first" and then only when we pressed them then they will check and suddenly they realised our file was not processed. so then they brought our file to the doctor and we were called in right after. another patient pressed them for the medication and payment and then right after he was called. we have been to other specialist clinics in raffles hospital and they are good but this general clinic is just terrible. the management of raffles hospital please do something about this general clinic.

When I was there around 5.15 they told me the department closed at 4.30pm. I was frustrated as I booked appointment a week ago and the email acknowledge inform there will be someone will contact me within 3 working days. After a week, nobody contacted me. I called again and they told me don’t need appointment, just need to walk in. I was being fooled by both side to go here and there and at the end didn’t manage to do the medical check up and not even an apology. The nurse just said closed then playing the phone in front of me and just ignored.

I am a tourist from Pakistan. My wife had a finger pinched in car door with bleeding from her nail.Arrived at the hospital around 6:30pm, the doctor took almost 1 hour after registration to get an X-RAY and after X-RAY found no fractures so he prescribed medicines for week and they charged me $305, I was speechless, they hardly did bandage and wasted my 3 hours for nothing more than incompetent and lazy treatment plus the staff was rude. I was surprised to see condition of basic health Care which is so expensive and useless. I made a rule now that before getting impressed by any so called developed country see their government health Care and hospital. If all the staff from technician to doctors are taken over by staff of any TEHSIL MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL in PAKISTAN, the hospital recognition will get viral. I LOVE MY COUNTRY EVEN MORE NOW.

I have to write a review about this place. 16 years later, I want people to be careful and avoid these pseudo health care facilities. My father in law died in this hospital on 20 JAN 2006 during a holiday travel to Singapore. Before the trip he had a tooth extraction and was taking some antibiotics. He had no relevant medical history. Due to persistent vomiting and diarrhea he was sent to that place. His vitals were blood pressure 90/60, tachycardia and he had difficulties talking and swallowing fluids. Antibiotics and fluids were given and MRI was arranged to rule out Miller-Fisher syndrome. Miller Fisher syndrome!!!!!! Oh my god! Labs were not ready and he was not stable! Then the labs showed pre-renal azotemia (meaning dehydration), low platelets, elevated C reactive protein. Chest X ray and urine analysis were normal. Blood gas disclosed metabolic acidosis with respiratory compensation. He was still in shock and they started to give colloids and inotropic agents. Also they added cloxacillin to the previous ceftriaxone. According to the medical report, “the oxygen saturation was good >95% with Venturi mask 50% up at 3:00AM”. Next, immediately it said “he gradually deteriorated despite the maximal efforts and was declared dead at 6:14hrs after unsuccessful resuscitation. He most likely had fulminant septicemia with encephalopathy, renal impairment, disseminated intravascular coagulation and myocarditis”. 14 years later, I am a health care worker. After cleaning up the house, I saw those papers and cannot believe what happened. I work in the front line with critically ill patients. I know that sometimes things can go quickly and you do not have time to react. But I think their response to my father in law’s case was totally inadequate. I have to write this review. For my wife, my mother in law, my brother in law and above all, my father in law. Thank you google for giving me this opportunity.

incompetent crew, even though half of the hospital is closed, people can't take care of one patient. nothing works. they leave a man with a high temperature alone outside. you have to pay for everything. I strongly recommend that you find another institution for diagnosis or treatment, which, as it turns out, is for free. in this one pays $ 100 for finding a fever! Not nice at all!

We were ready for checkout at 8:00 am they are trying to hold us until 12 pm. At 10:15 I asked what is taking a couple hours. "We are processing your paperwork. We just need the doctor to sign." "I then asked how could it take 2 hours to sign a paper." "The doctor was doing a procedure until just now, he will sign the documents for out processing now. We'll keep you updated." A nurse comes by the room eventually and says it will be done soon. I then asked what is the longest? She got frustrated and said maybe 30 minutes to an Hour. Here we are still waiting at 11:30. We are speculating that they are just trying to charge our insurance more money. We will definitely check and notify our insurance.

Call another appointment hotline given by company's EHS, called and she said appointment has to be made with the corporate account in-charge, back to square one! Called again and again but no response! I got the same experiences for previous years as well, no improvement, I gave up and I will let my EHS settle.

Top notch service in Singapore, price is of course than higher than other places as this is a private hospital. Overall, it's great if you are covered under Health Insurance and book appointment in advance.

I found this hospital to be really good and as such am very surprised by the low rating, my visit is through travel insurance so perhaps that made a difference? Excellent attention and technologies, doctor was fantastic, nurses excellent, food was ok. Room was great too. I guess we can only review our own experience.

My husband was admitted to the emergency department, then to ICU. Because there was no time to get approval from our insurance company I had to give $26,000 from our credit cards before the insurance company guaranteed treatment. I was told it would then take seven working days to refund the $26,000 deposit. Because of that, I had to put off cancer testing and treatment because I would not have been able to pay my bills. Avoid Raffles.

No signage to find carpark entrance from main road. Got stuck in a very tiny drop off driveway for taxis and cars. Signage inside carpark and hospital is just as bad. Took lift to medical clinic only to be told it’s in another wing. Poor signage to next wing and have to ask at least 3 different reception and staff before I finally found the specialist clinic. Only good thing is there is ample carpark space but just a confusing walk to the lifts and clinics.

Posting for friend send by SCDF Ambulance to Raffles Hospital as Subsided patient for fracture. Interesting main difference in Raffles Hospital compared to government hospital is all admission is under one doctor DR YANG Ching Yu. He may not be the doctor treating or have done surgery for your condition, but all the patient in whole cubicle. is under him. Please check with the business office to check his charges. During his ward morning visit, he only come to say a quick 'Hi'. He said he is not the treating doctor and will ask the treating doctor to come and explain the patient condition and decide on the treatment??? .....All admission is under one doctor DR YANG Ching Yu.

I am here today. I had my ultrasound appointment booked half a year ago. But I am actually surprised by the crowd I see here and was told that my waiting time is around a hour. I think there is a need for Raffles hospital to review its operations especially in view of COVID-19. While they have crossed out seats to have safe distancing, they are not controlling the number of people as there were a number of people standing around waiting (including me). However, having said this, the staff were very patient and polite.

My wife came here on the 18th September for the health screener, not only it was hard to book a slot as nobody answers the phone, they even cancelled the post examination with the doctor for the outcome and asked us to see any GP as they will mail the results. We also requested for additional tests as per their advertisement but they were too busy to entertain, maybe its a blessing in disguish as we saved on it. Its quite shocking how Raffles Medical has deteriorate, been coming here for 3 years in a row, never expected to be treated like an outkast after we paid for it. Update: supervisor called and apologies as the staff is not following SOP and rescheduled a consult the next day.

Raffles provides the best service. I go for my regular health check ups. There is usually a poised and well spoken female doctor who will update you about your report. The staff is always doing the best they can to help you. The clinic is usually filled with people hence there is a long wait. However, I only go to Raffles with an appointment so I’ll settle most injections/reports/test within 3 hours.

Set appointment twice with Dr. Thong Pao-Wen. Found out that meeting her is as difficult as finding Nemo. First instance: we arrive at reception 15 mins before the appointment; only to be told that doctor isn’t there. No apologies, just matter of fact. When I said - would have been great if we could be informed earlier, peevish sorry and comment that doctor informed them last minute. Second instance: arrived at reception in advance again, but only to be told that doctor is out for lunch and they don’t know when she will be back (haha). What an elusive cat! Do remember that hospital gave us the appointment as per their availability. Anyway - we give up on Raffles in Singapore for now, what horrible service levels. Been a happy customer of Raffles in China for 12 years - but I guess there is a decline in their quality.

3rd March 2020. To the Ceo. I hope you to take a walk down. Your strategy to include a bar into your full concept of screening should not be included in this bar dibulah. You should have covered the lobby to separate the bar. The bar should walk in from side pathway. It's totally wrong. All fnb should contact their temp check n not must enter into hospital. There is no one in the bar except me. If I were the ceo I won't do such a thing. The hospital should have separate entrances for whatg ever. Should not include fnb. Hmmm how does it feel alone to be in a big counter. I might prefer flying private jet. But definitely not in bar. Totally incorrect. I hope you revise the lobby belong to hospital. N bar by side doors. As for toilets use mrt or hoteL ones. Corny jokes. Never dreamed to have a wine in lobby if extension. Initially very fed up why have liquor bar after happy hours beautiful wine. I came up with this. When hope is lost there is bar. Life has limitations. So does all the treatments. Probably thats why there is a bar. I wish wine is served to patients too.

Very poor service. The clinic could not be bothered. The doctor looked at me and said I had a stomach ache. He said he heard me say it in the waiting area. I asked him since when did I ever say that? He insisted and only after I confronted him did he do the usual check up. I filed a complaint. The company said it was a locum on duty. So what? Charged me over 100 dollars. This was 5 years back. Never visited a raffles medical clinic ever again. Absolutely unacceptable.

Horrible. Swab test area was near a parking lot that sometimes had cigarette smells wafting into the area. I was among around 8 people to enter the area, and it took more than 2 hours to test the 8 of us. Infrastructure was a mess. I booked online for a general swab test and staff were confused, the chairs were lined up in a way that there was no semblance of a queue at all. After the test it took more than an hour for me to receive my medication and make payments.

I had a very bad fall on jan 13 along PCN enroute to Gardens by the Bay east entrance. Unfortunately for me the ambulance was unable to reach me but am blessed with many angels who came to my help. One of them was this tall fair gentleman on duty manning the entry into Raffles Hospital at the specialist side entrance around 8pm. I was bleeding n in pain on my chin area and when my hubby pulled the car in front of entrance he immediately saw my predicament n came forward with a wheelchair. He aptly asked for my ID to quickly do the registration whilst maintaining order at the driveway with swift instruction, registered me; had my hubby quickly scan his ID so tt my hubby could pushed me to the A&E ward for immediate attention. I hv bn trying to establish his name but to no avail. Would appeal to Raffles Hospital to please investigate who this kind n helpful employee is on duty to convey my grateful thanks for his expeditious action that helped with my gaining quick treatment of my injury. To that gentleman - thank you for your graciousness and thoughtfulness in assessing my situation n ensuring immediate n quick action rendered to alleviate my pain n accessing to A&E as quickly as possible. I am grateful for all you have done and thanking God that you were duty that night. I am truly blessed! God bless you always.

Can get far better service than this at other private hospital. Foreign patients seeking private specialist care do take note.... April 2020:Visited hospital several time usually the orthopedic centre, MRI, radiology centre and rehabilitation centre. To be frank, the registration process was fast, dont normally wait long for doctor's appointment. MRI and Xray need to wait a few days for appointment but the staff there were friendly. The down side, fees are exorbitant! Was quoted over $40,000 for a minor day surgery.... Insurance covers but definitely not willing to be taken for a sucker..

COVID-19 testing process is terrible. It was disorganized (no clear queue, just asking the crowd who was next) and slow. 1 hour to register, then wait for blood pressure, then wait for doctor consult, and 45 mins later get swabbed. But then another 1 hour and 15 mins to get the "fast" test results. It's in the carpark. No instructions, signs, or other communication to set expectations.

Good service by staff on 13th Jul Thurs at 1am at the A&E. They put my fiancee in observation and treated/relived her of her pain first without discussion of payment unlike novena mount E. Friendly and helpful doctors and staff all around, was admitted into ward at 4am even though they said a ward could only be given in the morning. Kudos to everyone working that shift and they should be complimented/rewarded from saving my financee from another night of pain. The staff on level 10 were fantastic as well. Raffles medical will be our go-to next time unlike Mount E which didnt even bother to put her in observation and they mentioned once we talk to their doctors we have to pay the full amount. Ridiculous! Continue the great service and work! It would be a pity to lose such good healthcare.

I was there and knew that I had been diagnosed with Influenza A. I was feeling really sick and tired, so I wanted to be admitted to claim with my hospital insurance, but I straight up wasn't allowed by the doctor. He started to threaten me, saying that Influenza A wouldn't be claimable, and that I could end up paying up to 6k plus for the medical bill and will require 3k deposit to get warded. He also didn't really check my condition properly, and I was so annoyed by the way he spoke to me, as if he was looking down on me. I checked with my insurance agent, and she told me that her client had gone through the same situation as me. They didn't want to allow her client to be admitted because the nurse and doctor were lazy to do the paperwork. This was my first experience with a private hospital, and I'm very disappointed

When for blood test and I waited 1 hour and not seeing my Q number being call. I walked to counter an India lady said she will check and she stood up after checking and didn't bother tell me what happened and seem like they made mistake and trying to conver it. Worest hospital I ever experienced. Very late results, unhelpful staff, their target is only collecting money. They are not understanding or considerate. They are not professional, I wanted to make medical checkup for a requirement of medical report from embassy. after one week of waiting for urine test results they told me that I have to repeat because it is done only 2 days after my menstrual end while I informed the day in the lab and to consultant. I had to repeat the test and take the results after more 3 days and they want me to pay for repeating the test while it is not my fault. I changed the embassy appointment many times because of them. No one will call you to come take your results or to repeat the test if required they will wait to come and then they will tell you that you have to repeat the test and repay or do it in another lab, so funny, and no one replies to phone calls. And when you come to check they will not meet you same way the day you paid 570 SGD for a normal medical checkup.
