Would basically say this is the best service hospital in Singapore Called parkway ambulance to get me into a&e. After some checks Got warded in after just filling up some admissions forms. Service is top notch ! Food is fantastic ! Breakfast , tea break , lunch , supper all is awesome ! Making my stay here less stress ! The nurses here are very polite, friendly & helpful. There’s even a butler to meet all my needs here And a concierge to help me if there’s any questions about billing. There’s a complimentary Limousine service back home after I discharge! Thank you so much !!

They are obviously the premier hospital experience for a reason. The staff and service quality was excellent during my short stay and as long as I can afford it, I'll always choose Mount E if I need to be warded! The nurses are so polite and gentle even when sticking a needle into you. The food selection is awesome and the rooms are like small hotel rooms. Basically everything is there for you to focus on your recovery. And I feel it really makes a difference!

It was huge hospital with many private clinics inside. Went to visit one of the clinics there. Need more direction to point where the place is, especially first floor to point where the elevators were. The parking was difficult. It said it was full and really difficult to find one. After one round then I found one empty. Valet is available at $9.

Much as I wish to give a 5 star but my bill cost was texted to my next-of-kin. Next-of-kin contact was provided for emergency purposes only! The message was attentioned to patient (you, your)! This sort of information are so confidential and private and should not have been sent to unintented person whereby patient does not wish to let them know! Don't tell me it's your normal process and don't wish to disturb patient. This is totally an unacceptable excuse! Patient didn't consent on this information to be sent to next-of-kin!!! Absurb and ridiculous!

Nov 2021: Am at the hospital now but given what I have seen so far, I have encountered a number of not so friendly personnel. I know it's a stressing period now but for patient's family, we are worried as well Jan 2022: Patient is unwell, giddy, feeling nauseous and having difficulty walking. As patient's caregiver, I had asked for wheelchair to be provided to the patient at first moment but Concierge asked me to get the wheelchair from island reception. When i asked for the wheelchair from island reception, I was told to get the wheelchair from the concierge. Patient is so unwell yet the responsiveness is lacking. Shouldnt the frontliners be looking into it urgently when I raised the patient's conditions? Why is there still a pushing of responsibilities? For the MRI scan, the patient was directed to the MRI scan waiting area and ended up waiting for almost an hour before getting the MRI scan. As the caregiver, patient is cold and yet knowing his conditions, the professionals did not consider the element that the patient is weak and needed more care. He was referred to be admitted rightaway after seeing specialist which I had highlighted several times. If it is not requiring immediate attention, why would we want our relative to be admitted into the hospital during COVID situation. I can understand a 15 minutes waiting time but 1 hour is really demanding for the patient. You have to ask yourself this, if the patient is your own relative, will you want the patient to undergo the same kind of treatment. I understand the frontliners are undergoing a challenging time during COVID but isnt caring for the patients the most basic to healthcare. Summary: Extremely disappointed

Parked my own car in an empty lot and still had to pay $5 for valet LOL - this place is a joke. Will also change PD to different hospital because it’s impossible to find lots during the morning and always have to end up parking at square 2.

As lodging person with my husband for 3 nights, I never felt bored due the excellence service of nurses and staff. It was like staying in the 5 star hotel, though my bed is not as good as the patient. Looking forward to the 3 meals 2 snacks everyday with many choices. Of course the room was certainly expensive loh!

The facilities and staff at the hospital were top notch! Thanks so much for being so accommodating and nice during my stay there. I always felt safe and well cared for. The nurses, household and cleaning staff were all very friendly! Please send my regards to the nurses of Ward 11 specifically :) They even called to check up on me after discharge.

Patients get seen very quickly, healthcare staff are very efficient. I'm just very concerned about the staff in charge of pre-registration (in front of A&E lobby glass door) He was coughing and he kept removing and adjusting his mask. This does not comply with ANY COVID protocol. Why is an unwell staff manning the station and being in contact with all the patients who have to register? And has he been trained to be cautious about the protocols?

This hospital has the worst A&E service that I’ve seen. I was having heart problems and the nurse at the triage immediately tried to dismiss it as “oh you got slight fever so it’s normal for your pulse to be high”. I’m not sure what her name is, but she is an old chinese lady. However, my pulse was so high that a 37.7 degree fever couldn’t have been the main cause. I had a referral letter from the GP, who was alarmed by my pulse rate. I also have a pre-existing heart condition, so there is almost no way a high sustained pulse rate is caused by a low grade fever. The aforementioned nurse has a real attitude problem. She served me with disdain the whole time and her “black face” made me feel distressed. She had absolutely no empathy and seemed to treat me being there as an inconvenience. I even told her I was cold at one point and she just walked away lol. The other nurses were nice but I’m just shocked that this nurse has such a poor attitude towards paying customers. My ER bill was expensive and I feel it wasn’t worth the money. I only came down to mount E because I needed my heart to be checked on urgently. However, even though there was barely anyone in the ER they were still slow. While the wait time wasn’t as bad as in NUH, at least the nurses care at NUH A&E and you can see that the waiting time is only caused by the huge number of patients. At NUH, if I was cold or even looked uncomfortable, the nurses would come up to me with blankets. Here, the nurse LITERALLY walks away. If you’re going to charge people astronomical prices, please ensure that your service standards are up to par.

I had my surgery done in this hospital and I am grateful to all the nurses at the operating theatre and ward 12. They were all caring and attentive to my needs after surgery. The hospital is clean with a hotel room type of accommodation. I am also pleased to Dr CK Khoo my laparoscopic surgeon who did a great job in removing my fibroids as well as to Dr Woo my anaesthetist who managed my post surgical recovery as pain free as possible.

I had a bad experience with Dr. James Tan (Urology). I had a very small kidney stone and he nudged me to do an invasive procedure costs more than 10,000SGD and gave me discomfort for a long period of time. When the procedure was done he could not find the stone as it had already passed through urine. Most doctors said they would never do the procedure for such a small stone and would let it pass through urine and give some medication as aid. I would not recommend Dr. Tan to anyone who is looking for a doctor who puts patients before profits. I would give 5 stars to the hygiene and infrastructure of the hospital

Hospitals should have the best welfare and public best interest for the patients and visitors. But even your carpark has converted to a money making business where you blocked off a large section of the carpark for Valet service. This is not a clubbing, hotel or casino.... you should not tap on such avoidable needs to be in the premises and make money out of it!!!

The team (nurses, doctors & service staff) at Mount Elizabeth Novena is professional, reassuring, & caring (I stayed in Ward 0825). Your dedication to the care of patients is keenly felt! Special thanks to the following people (sorry I didn't get all of your names): - The Indian (afternoon shift) nurse who has such a cheerful & vivacious disposition, your positivity rubs off people & you were really reassuring. - The Chinese (morning shift) nurse who was so meticulous & detailed in taking care of my needs. - Dr Wendy, who put me at ease with her calm, professional & cheery disposition Thank you for taking such good care of me during my stay! :)

On 22nd march 2022 I was admitted to MOUNT E NOVENA from TTSH accident emergency As there were no more bed(s) in ttsh(waiting time was no joke) I was super I'll at that time, and my heart was a bout to burst as it keep pounding very hard even at rest When I reached my ward , However, the nurse was assuring especially the Malay nurse with short hair. She consoles me as I was really unconsolable after going to many docs to no avail (no recovery). My hope was bleak at that time Through my three days stay here, I was checked by different doctor, nurses and radiologist who were competent, know their job and care about patient condition.Trying to figure out the underlying issue My condition stabilize as compared to the first time I was admitted to mount e ,(vomit)(heart palpitations) in which other hospital (CGH) just brushed it off as GASTRIC ?! which I REALLY DOUBT so Thank u nurses and doctors, I hope you will continue to provide tip top service not for myself but for others as well especially during COVID-19 I hope I WILL RECOVER FAST without any worries so I can resume my work without any qualms. On a side note , the administration side of the hospital should be fast and alert as there are some patients including myself who have finance issues , therefore treatment was delayed Overall a good experience @ this hospital. But it comes with a price .

It has been a while since I was planning to share my experience at Mount Elisabeth hospital. I must say I have mixed feelings about it. In December last year I arrived to emergency unit with chest tightness, tingling sensation in my arm, feeling extremely weak and slightly sick. First of all the male nurse that greeted me was not empathetic, telling me to "calm down" as he needs to measure my heart rate. He looked angry (maybe tired) and almost fed up with his job. Then this tall male doctor comes to see me flashing his rolex in my face and telling me that I am just stressed and having a panic attack. I and my husband explained to him that a panic attack is highly unlikely as my lifestyle is stressfree and I was going through a happy phase in my life. The doctor sticked to his decision to let me go home with some xanax withought further investigation. Shortly after this I ended up in ICU at the same hospital with pericarditis. Something to add, when I was admitted to ICU the person that walked me from the ground floor to my room was very fast, didn't even look back while I was struggling with his pase. He was eating some candy and kept flipping keys in his hand as if he was some kind of boss there. When we entered the room he took his sweet time to show me all the fancy attributes etc while all I wanted is to lay down.. . Again, I felt the lack of empathy and care. Only the nurses on my floor (8th floor I believe ir was) were extremely caring, warm and attentive. They prioritised my health and wellbeing at all times. When you feel like you are dying, you don't care about the flashy rooms, or 5 page menu. All you want is to feel safe, comfortable and being taken care of. I hope the team and consider my feedback and perhaps include more staff training. Both at emergency and the admissions. Thank you, Dalia

Updated: had another stay recently. Service is just as good as before. Did my endoscopy, CT scan and diagnostic tests while staying at this hospital. Excellent nurses who are professional and skilled. Had to wait for a while for admission. It is a private hospital so the bill is definitely expensive. Compared to my experiences suffered in public hospitals the price is worth it especially when you're sick and feeling unwell, anything that can alleviate the discomfort is welcomed.

The best of pte hospitals in Singapore. The nurses and others are really doing the best they can. A lot of stressful moments for everyone. Although there is improvement needed. Overall everyone is helpful. Food served is top notch. Attentive nurses in the wards. Clean and quiet.

The facilities and staff are helpful and friendly. A nice and quiet hallway with corresponding good lighting. Very neat and clean with no clutter. The management team is accomodative to queries and exceptions if needed. The food is good and complete with optional choices for each meal from breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner and night snack. The ward room is big, bright and furbished well. An alert and attentive staff from nurses to utility persons.

Doctors here are horrible with no skills. I went to see a gastro doctor as i was having strange feeling in my stomach. He hits touched my stomach and gave me strong acid reflux medication. In the end after suffering through all that and seeing many other specialists, it turned just anxiety. They do have a racist angle as well as they assume ur problem based on your nationality. Avoid if you want good quality medical care.

My experience was probably enhanced by the little luck I got out of this hospital. Went in for a minor procedure, and was upgraded to a penthouse unit because the initially booked single rooms were full. Ended up enjoying myself the whole time as the nurses were especially caring, and food was amazing. Little bummer when the security during Covid19 was a little tight, with limited visitors allowed. But my guests could still send their gifts up to my ward, through concierge, which was a nice gesture I must say. Everything from end to end was professionally managed, which was great. First time having a surgery in my life, and felt really well taken care of over here at Mt E Novena.

Prenatal Diagnostic Centre. I went there for check up appointment with my wife. First appointment was delayed for 4 hours plus. We waited without taking our lunch. No reason given. After follow up a few times, then the stuff told us to take lunch and come back again. On third appointment, we arrived early as usual. We over heard staff saying forgot to make appointment with doctor. But end up came in to told us doctor having emergency case. Told us to come back in the afternoon. What a craps! Of course doctor won’t attend to your last minute call.

Beautiful new hospital. Doctors and nurses and admin staff are gentle and proficient. Lovely clean and comfortable rooms and toilets. Parking is a major issue at this hospital. And no sheltered walkway for patients and visitors between it and the MRT. Poor thought in considering the convenience to patients. Also when i sent my dad in yesterday there was no assistance at the entrance to help transfer my dad to the wheelchair and had to find the wheelchair myself leaving my dad in the car with the engine running. There were lots of valet staff though. I guess it shows where the priorities lie. The admission process was not straight forward. Although the admissions staff and front counter personnel were very willing to help. Still too much paperwork that needed to be settled before we could transfer my dad to a bed to rest. Would have been better to give the bed first then settle the paper work in the ward. Limited food options in the hospital itself.

The hospital lobby gives off a calming ambience and makes you feel like you’re in a hotel rather than a hospital. The facilities are top notch, and transport is convenient with Novena MRT being 5 minutes away and the option for valet parking available. All the nurses were also professional and competent in their individual fields. Dr Leow is an extremely caring doctor, who was also highly skilled in his line of work. He performed the angioplasty and constantly checked with the patient to make sure he was feeling well. He went above and beyond his duties to ensure that the patient had a good experience.

Supposed to be the newest and best hospital but the admission process took more than 1.5 hours without anyone giving heads up what was going on but just left me waiting for something to happen till I enquired about the ETA. A few patients walked up to inform the staffs about their more than 1 hour wait.... But i think the wards are full booked. (Sounds like a busy hotel) lol.... Poor counter service staffs had to explain to those angry patients. I was nicer to chit chat with them to understand about the situation as it is definitely not the counter staffs fault. Mount E Orchard, GlenE and Raffles were much more efficient and personal where they really take care of the patient from start till end. I thought the 2 hours before the surgery is for me to prepare myself mentally but NO. Maybe different management compared to other brunch? Or due to covid-19. Let's hope the whole experience will be better and more patient friendly.

Once you enter the place, you will not feel that you are entering a Hospital premises. It's so awesome that you'll feel like a 5 star hotel. Staff & the doctors are first class. On a special note, Dr. Kim ZiYi was my consultant while I was under a PET scan in 2016. Recommended

The customer service is top-notch! They provided me with a tablet where you can choose which food you like. The food was so good that made me wanted to stay more in the hospital :D The accommodation is so relaxing, that same feeling when you're staying in a luxurious hotel. Most of all, the staff, especially my Doctor, Dr. Ganesh and the nurses who assisted me were so warm and empathetic, it's comforting esp. that I don't have family here to take care of me. I'm glad I was admitted in Mt. E Novena. It was my first time to be hospitalized and they've made me set the bar high. Although it's costly, it's worth every penny. Keep it up Mt. E. Also, they provided free limo to take me home. This is a big factor!

Very good multi facility hospital with skilled Doctors and technicians. The admin process is also seamless and smooth. This place is very well maintained and clean in terms of safety and hygiene, specially during the times of a pandemic. It's a bit expensive but for expats in Singapore, it's better option than Government hospitals since there's no subsidy for expats.

Everything here is great. Everyone here is fantastic. I have NO complaints at all. Very comfortable room, very attentive and empathetic nurses, doctors are all professional and very personable. Only small thing.... Hey. They really need to do something about their queue number system. There's only one monitor and facing one direction. Need to stand up and walk all the way there just to check number. Also there should be one facing kileny and other waiting areas. Damn, ICA got the whole numbering thing done well.

My gal is doing day surgery and were told to report to admission counter at 6.30am wee hours. Registration doesn’t start till 6.50am though, and queue starts to clear for crowd who were here since 6.15am. quite a drag for kids who has got to wake up specially early to wait out. Would suggest to review the process and especially for children under 7, that might be more helpful and considerate. Adding on toll, fasting is required for them before surgery.

I booked a virtual maternity tour on 25 May 2021 in person at the hospital. I was promised that I’ll be on their next virtual maternity tour on 2 June 2021. My husband and I blocked our schedules to attend it and we realised we never received the zoom link. Both of us tried calling the hospital to be placed in the virtual tour on that day itself and after assurance from the hospital via the phone call I made that 1) we will receive the zoom link 2) someone from the maternity team will contact us, so we hung up and waited. But nothing. I then sent an email on 3 June 2021 asking about the virtual maternity tour and I got a reply from Janice Yong saying someone from the maternity tour will contact me. She assured me that there are weekly tours every Wednesday, but after following up on her email, Janice Yong went silent. I finally saw that Mt E Novena recently posted a virtual maternity tour application on the website so I submitted a request but the earliest date available was 1 week before my due date in August (which is ridiculous of course). So I sent another email on 5 June 2021 to follow up on an earlier date. On 7 June 2021, Samantha Ooi from the maternity team finally sent me an email and misspelled my name. I’m assuming the email from Samantha Ooi came from my online application and all my previous efforts in person, calling, emailing support were futile. It’s not that hard to pass information from one team to another, follow up on requests or add someone to a zoom link right? Or is it, Mt E Novena?

Disappointed & appalled that when my wife, in labour, and I wanted to enter from the exit side from the carpark as it's much shorter because she's in labour pain, the staff mending the exit station said that we need to go 1 round to enter from the "proper" entrance. I even asked "even when she's dying from pain?". The staff said "yes!". Luckily, another staff with better common sense took over and allowed us to enter, got a wheelchair and another staff wheeled her up. While I understand that it's Covid protocol, the staffs should exercise common sense and put safety and health of patients first. If it's a shopping mall, can understand if the staffs are untrained, but this is a hospital! Also, needing a physical credit card to make small payments like it's 1990s. They also mentioned because it's covid period, they don't want to handle cash. So apparently credit cards are anti-covid or something. Shall leave the review of the ward experience to my wife, which I believe is quite positive.

5 Stars Pricing 2 Stars Service. Came here for Day Surgery today. Terrible experience. (1) Admission takes forever. The counter called a number before me 4 times and nobody turned up. I went to the counter and saw two ladies sitting there chatting. Told them I’m next in line, asked if they can serve me since the person before me is not around. She said she’ll check. Went to front counter to call the name a few times and truly nobody responded, so they served me. (2) After getting me to the room and then sending me to the waiting area before they wheel me into the Operating Theatre, my nightmare began… They put me on a bed in waiting area that is cramped, stuffy and narrow, like in a PRISON. I could almost touch the two walls around me by stretching out my hands. I would have endured this if it’s a short wait but no… I waited for ONE HOUR in this PRISON. I was feeling so stressed that I started crying. I do not have any history of being claustrophobic. But this place is really too much for me to bear. I asked for help several times but all the staff did was ask me to WAIT. My doctor finally arrived after more than 1 hour wait. He apologized but it couldn’t make up for the stress and suffering I had endured. The hospital room is nice but the surgery waiting room they put me in was TERRIBLE. I hope Mt E can improve your service and not put patients through such TORTURE. Thank you.

My 3rd time warded here, and every time I have had a great care experience from the healthcare team. This time I was warded at level 4, and was very well taken care of by Syafiqah. She is very attentive and goes the extra mile for patients. Being a nurse is a very noble job. Thank you for taking care of me!

Private hospital, everything has order. Get a number from a kiosk, wait in line, go to the desks and then they send you to get your tests done. If you need to be admitted inpatient, you will have comfortable facilities and caring medical professionals, and food options are plenty.

I am concerned about the ongoing traffic congestion caused by this medical specialist center/hospital along Irrawaddy Road, Sinaran Road, and Moulmein Road without any intervention from the relevant authorities. The limited parking spaces force most of us to drop off our loved ones at the front entrance. They have two lanes for cars to circulate at the entrance but have closed off a part of one lane. Although there is someone guiding the heavy traffic, they do not seem to know what they are doing, resulting in more chaos at the front entrance. It is about time the management team addressed this significant problem.

Had to go through my first ever surgery and was admitted to Mount E Novena. The whole experience has been very pleasant. The ward was spacious and extremely clean. The nurses were very caring and attentive (except for one). I must say too, the food is very good! I didnt know healthy food can be this scrumptious and delicious, almost wanted to order takeaway before discharge.

I came with my husband on the 27th January The service in the clinic is taking very long, and ask the doctor fill the form for insurance on 6pm they said i have to come again around 10pm to collect the paper. I decided to ask them to just email me. And until now i didn’t receive any email from them.

Had my first time surgery at Mt. E Novena in end Nov 2023 and stayed for a few nights. Actual day Admission was very smooth and within 20 mins as I was advised to do a pre-admission session via scheduled zoom earlier. Reception design at lobby was like a hotel with a pianist playing the piano to soothe the atmosphere. Room was full and thankfully they done a complimentary upgrade to a really spacious suite. Seamless process of onboarding to surgery. Smiling and warm service throughout the pre-ops and stay that made the experience feel less fearful and painful. They cater 3 meals and 2 snacks daily. Some meals were good, so were so so. Discharge process was also smooth and quick and feel like ‘checking out’. Overall is pretty good. If there is one thing to pick, it was the slow/no response to our requests for things like toilet paper, shower gel, milo etc

Well equipped hospital which has qualified doctors to attend to almost any ailment. You get all the specialities under one roof. The quality standards are very high and costs appear to be reasonable as compared to Singapore standards. One of the best hospitals I have seen in Singapore.

Took my son to the A&E after he fell badly and needed stitches. The medical staff is attentive and professional. The support and admin staff leaves much to be desired. First, the admission process was poorly explained, and my wife was left waiting with no guidance and took way longer than necessary. While waiting for a room, I left to get some food and left my wife and son to wait for a room. When a room became available, my wife was asked to CARRY my sleeping son (who just had a procedure done) and all her bags, by herself, up to the ward. I've never seen ANY hospital in SG asking this of patients. After seeing my wife struggle with the situation, the staff finally offered to push my boy up to the room. Hospitalization is a very stressful process for patients and their family, and they are often not in the mental state to make requests. For a hospital like Mount E, I really expect better.

I stayed 3 days after my baby delivery and the hospital is amazing! Doctors are very qualified, nurses are caring and the hospital itself is gorgeous. I recovered in no time and i was so relaxed and ready to go home with my newborn.

So far so good. Was able to use MRT and follow the signs from Novena Station to Mt. Elizabeth and it was very easy. Entered the lobby that looked like some kind of hotel, not a hospital. To me very strange, but I appreciate the atmosphere that is not so bright, but calmly lighted and with a reception/concierge desk that is staffed with good people if you need directions. For me, it was easy to follow signs and take elevator or escalator to wherever I needed to go. I ended up spending half a day here for doc appointment, tests and another doc appointment to review tests. Very convenient not to have to traipse across town to another facility to get special testing. When you aren't feeling well, that is the last thing you need. Overall and so far the experience at the hospital and with the docs and nurses and everyone it was quite satisfactory.

Took my son to the A&E on Sunday. They charged extra for visiting on a Sunday. Spent Sgd 650 for a Viral. And to top it all, they are charging me extra for the Doctor’s memo!! On a side note, the Doctor who saw my son was good. Would have given 1 star otherwise.

My wife went to Mount E Novena for delivery. Ms Loshini(Staff nurse) from the delivery ward is a awesome nurse. She is a very experience, caring and dedicate nurse. She lead my wife through the birth of my baby and attended to her every minutes. Good job Ms Loshini. Wish you all the best in your career. 👍👍👍

The first quotation to the last charge price changed 3 times, through the clinic to ask why the price increased, They didn't give us the answer, Good hospital charges should communicate clearly with patients, A terrible charging system. A terrible. This hospital is greedy.

Everything was great (5 stars) except for the counter staff at the main lobby (0 stars if That was an option). Very rude and does not display the decorum that a representative of such a hospital should be displaying. Overheard a conversation when a patient wanted to take a number - iPad didn’t respond and she asked the counter staff it it was broken. Counter staff responded with a curt “probably”. What kind of service is this?! Another counter staff was just preoccupied playing with her phone.

The hospital looks luxurious (high class)... The front desk receptionist is very friendly and helpful. He helps with the registration. We're looking for an orthopaedic, a friend says here is one of the best in Singapore. It is indeed. Also looking for Eye specialist. The service is nice too.

This is going to be weird. I was there to visit a relative. So I was eating there doing my own thing. Then the food for the patient came and this is what she got. A lobster laska and chicken soup with abalone. Nvr have I seen food like that in a hospital. Wow.. The laska tasted good, like a good hawker laska but with half a lobster! The soup was deep in flavor too. I suppose you can't actually try any of this unless you come in as a patient. Soooo..

Was with my wife this morning at the Level 3 Prenatal Diagnostic centre. This is our 3rd time there. And this is my first review after letting the matter rest. Hopefully other couples will not have to go through this again. Seems we always have to wait til the cows come home each time. We were told to be early or risk our turn being forfeited. So we duly obliged, arriving at 1010 for our 1030 appt. Little did we know, we were in for the same experience once again. Waited til 1115 before our turn. And no explanation until I checked with the counter twice. They were polite and calm but could not help much. Realistically, if there were only 2 sonographers, why pack the appts so tight and make so many patients wait? I dont think its the fault of the staff. Its the system and Parkway needs to fix this. Asap.

Was here at the level 3 prenatal diagnostic centre. Arrived at 1010am as we were told to come early or risk having to wait long. Our appt was 1030am. We were only seen at 1115am. This was the second time we had to wait so Long. Two couples who arrived later seen first. Reason being, their appt was earlier. Now if this lab cannot stick to the appt time, then please don’t schedule so many appts together. Waiting more than an hour for a scan is ridiculous.

A hospitel. Staff here are warm, friendly and reassuring, 24/7 available to provide support, and my husband who bunked with me during my hospitalisation had a good rest too. The meals were a nice pick-me-up with a great selection of Western, Chinese, Thai and Indian cuisine. The view from the room was gorgeous too. There is free limo service home if you check out before 11am, but you have to inform the staff in advance.

Style over substance. Especially the understaffed maternity wards. Expect to wait 15-20min for a nurse to attend to you. Handover between nurses is poor and you’ll be expected to advise them on what to do. The business counters are also understaffed, I’ve already waited 35mins while typing this review... Otherwise the building is great, but I’m not here for a holiday. I’m here to be treated, so it’s a pretty pointless having nice facilities when service and nursing is lacking. Also be expected to wait. Especially for the prenatal diagnostic Center. Bring your hospital bag because you might end up giving birth before your appointment....

They made my experience in the hospital less depressing. The staff (especially in ICU) was so attentive and friendly. Went to AnE on 15 Feb at 3 am due to chest pain n high bp. Was shocked to see the security sleeping n front desk with no staff . The security woke up when we walked towards her n asked what we wanted. She got a wheelchair for me n wheeled me in to wait while she went to the back to get the nurses. Lights at the front desk was also dimmed ! Quite an uncomfortable sight for an AnE as I questioned its preparedness n I silently regretted going... Was wheeled into a room for nurses to do ecg n call the doctor. Was fine till I asked for some water. The male nurse replied that the water machine was just outside n I could get some. I asked him if he meant I should get out of bed n get water...he replied my husband could do it ! Was totally taken aback by this so called service ! The Specialist I was seeing told the AnE doctor to attend to me first. The doctor came n spoke with me but did not even check me up n left. Fortunately I did not have to wait too long to get a room. The AnE experience was far from pleasant compared to the AnE at Parkway East Hospital. I wonder in a real emergency if they can respond quick enough to save lives !!!???? ...

Was admitted for clavicle surgery. My surgeon requested twice daily physio. 1st session was 21 mins and the physiotherapist #1 helped me with the various exercises, explaining what needs to be done. 2nd session (physiotherapist #1) was 17 mins, just going through what we did earlier and providing me with a print out of the exercises. 3rd session was with physiotherapist #2 for 16mins with where I went thru what the therapist #1 did and some chit chat on how I fell etc. 4th session with therapist #3 was all of 7 mins where I repeated what I did with the 2 therapist. She left and came back into the room as my surgeon was coming in to check on me. Since therapist #3 just chatted with me earlier on, she was unable to fully respond to my surgeon's question and left with the surgeon after 10 mins in the room. The timings of the sessions were provided by the hospital after I made a complain and urged them to view the CCTV to determine the time spent. For the so called therapy sessions, I was shocked to be charged a total of $655.68 for "physiotherapy". Although insurers pay for my stay, this is not right and has to be called out. When a patient needs physio therapy, the patient expects real therapy session of working out the exercises and not chit chats. So I'm warning anyone whose stay requires physiotherapy sessions at Mt Elizabeth, Novena. Make sure to ask what you're getting and the cost and duration of each session. Coming into your room and asking if you know what needs to be done and some small talk on how you get into the accident should not qualify as a therapy session. So be warned.

Got admitted through A&E with a fractured and dislocated ankle. The A&E doctor was swift, decisive and helped set a drip that wasn't painful at all. Orthopedic surgeon came down and ordered tests as well as planned for the surgery. Dr David Su gave me so much confidence that everything is gonna be alright (despite the fear of my dangling ankle). The drs were professional, skilful and assuring. Nurses are all empathetic, warm and most importantly caring. Food was tasty and I had so much appetite after my surgery. I cannot thank them more for their assurance, care and help throughout my 4 day hospitalization experience. It made my ordeal less painful, less traumatizing and very much bearable.

The service are based on skin tone. The assumption made by the frontline and staff based on skin tone. They will totally ignore you and serve others if you have brown skin tone. Incompetent staffs and can't answer basic questions which most frontline staffs need to know. Really had bad experience. If possible avoid this place at all cost. Don't feel like hospital and more like money making organisation. Even simple administration works has few mistakes. We have no choice in choosing the hospital. Gave my family extra anxiety with incorrect information. I'm not surprised with all the bad review. I went through the same experience. The worse part is nobody can give you correct answer. Keep pushing around. No communication between their department or internally. They are not transparent with the billing. We need to ask around for the total cost.

As much as the hospital is well renowned for best care & services, which initiated to send my wife whom had high fever here for the best treatment & care, I have regretted this decision and have wasted $7000++ SGD warding her to Mount Elizabeth. We have paid in advance of the dispute settlement, and we seeked further compensation due to the TERRIBLE MISMANAGEMENT of the patience request & care. On 28th July 2021, at noon, we requested multiple times to the nurse of a doctor's attention required because my wife's high fever kept triggering her to levels of 39 degrees above, it was an absolute painful experience waiting for a doctor. Consecutively, we tried checking with the nurse & they responded that they are checking. To our dismay, after 3 hours at 3pm, the nurse's reluctance to get a doctor result me to immediately approach the nurse reception requesting on the immediate update. The nurse at the reception only then called the doctor, for us only to be attended via a WHATSAPP call, with the doctor informing me that another doctor could be summoned an hour later. To my disappointment, the doctor (Dr. Shim) informed me that he was not informed, or aware that my wife required immediate attention & care. So all along for the 3 hours, the nurses literally ignored our request to contact a doctor!!! With my wife's excruciating pain, we made the decision to transfer to Raffles Hospital, as we can no longer wait. The business care team at Mount Elizabeth are patient & attentive, to assess our financial needs, hence opening our case for a dispute. But, I would honestly refrain putting your loved ones in this hospital if they require immediate care. To attempt to resolve this dispute, the hospital seek management review. The head nurse delayed the follow up by 1 week and we had to wait 1 month, to get a disappointing response by the Assistant Vice President of Operations that no further compensation can be given for the mismanagement, mishandling & life threatening incident, except for a 10% discount. We have also continuously informed them that we did not have any insurance purchased yet (because we had just returned from Korea for my wife's baby birth delivery) and attempting a feeble attempt of submitting a towards a traveler insurance of my wife's. This is an absolute honest review of our painful experience & a reluctant care team, & with no intentions of defaming or prejudice against the hospital. I transferred my wife to Raffles Hospital in Bugis, and they were able to attend to her needs and requests with swift response. There are residential doctors & consultants available and able to arrive on the request of her fever triggers, without having to wait 3 to 4 hours like Mount Elizabeth, Novena. Whoever that is willing to hear more about my real experience, I am willing to share openly with utmost honesty.

I would like to commend the front desk of Mount E Novena Hospital. My gift hamper meant for a patient was delayed and hence the patient had already been discharged by the time the hamper had arrived. The front desk took the blame of not checking if the patient was still in the hospital when receiving the hamper to be brought up to the room (due to COVID-19 restrictions the agents could not bring the hamper up themselves). As such, the front desk took initiative and said that they will deliver the hamper themselves via Grab to the patient's home. I was very impressed with this as I felt the front desk should not have taken all the blame as well, as we had specifically told the florist that if the delivery was past 11am, to re-route the delivery to the home address provided instead. Good job guys!

My 18 yo daughter just completed a knee surgery. Ward 10 Staff Nurse Kathleen Joy deserves a huge praise with her dedication, caring and cheerful disposition. She often checked on my daughter as she was feeling nauseous due to GA and Kathleen kept assuring her to stay for another day if needed. The multiple touchpoints from admission, ART test, team at operation theatre and ward 10 as well as inpatient physiotherapist WK and concierge were excellent. Selection of food is beyond expectations and my daughter was spoilt for choice. Conveniently located with loads of food choices and supermarkets nearby. Exceptional experience indeed.

Recently I had to visit Mount E Novena after I was involved in a car accident. The staff here were friendly and so considerate, during my short wait at A+E they were constantly checking in on me to make sure I was ok, when I stood to walk they asked if I needed a wheelchair (leg injuries). Was seen to quite quickly by the doctor who addressed all my needs and answered my questions I had. The radiographer was professional, engaged in conversation with me and also made sure that while adjusting my legs I would not flash myself. Thank you for being so considerate. I wouldn't want to come back here for obvious reasons, but Mount E Novena would always be my first choice in any medical situation.

My experience here at this hospital has been good. The first day I came in, referred from Thomson medical i had a pain in my chest and tingling on the left side of my body. I thought it was more severe but after consultation, I was diagnosed for shingles. I was put to bed for few hours and did blood tests. Dr Kannan and the nurses were nice. I visited 2 more times and it was still the same, except for the waiting time which may not be unavoidable. Customer care on phone is a no go area. They hardly speak up or just cut you off if you tell them to hold on a bit. Experience at the hospital is better but this customer care personal can discourage you. Thank God I had a better experience before calling them. Great hospital though.

This is my 2nd time doing procedure at Mount Elizabeth Novena. The first time was a day surgery (3 years ago) and this time was a 1.5 day stay. All staff were polite, courteous, friendly. You press the "call for nurse" and they are responsive. Meals selection was spoilt for choice. I had Angus beef, lamb shank, breakfast set, lobster and burger for my meals there. Yes, all these come with a price tag, but they managed to deliver top notch service. Great work from all the staff. A special thank you to Senior Physiotherapist, Tania! Left a very good impression with her casual way of talking. Some people may find her way of talking kinda blunt, but I felt that she's being real. She genuinely care and I wish her all the best in her career. 👋🏻🌟

Ward 2 room 6 on 19 June 2023. Admission clerk was cheery and efficient. Part timer nurse taking history and doing vitals in ward was efficient and kind. Discharge bill was not ready but allowed to go home and settle later. Overall more like a hotel than a hospital...

Please do not come here. I was literally dying from pain and they still managed to consult me about the price of the consultation and CT scan and whether I was okay with the price before bothering to help me. I understand that there are no wards for admission but how can there be no wards just for observation???!? Went to Raffles instead and got served and put on IV drip with painkillers without even mentioning price. Even though there were no wards I was more than happy just to get help and professionally looked after. On a more serious note, hospital should at the very least see to the patient and put them on IV even though there are no wards no??? Mount Elizabeth Novena dont even have an observation ward???!?! Mind you there were literally 0 patients at their A&E at that time (13th Jul 2023) Ridiculous, disgusting and pathetic hospital and service.

Did a gynae surgery end of July. Admissions staff was friendly, efficient and explained the admissions procedures clearly. Sent to the ward, room was big, bright and clean. Surgery was successful and stayed for 3 nights. Nursing staff of Ward 09 were efficient, polite, helpful and attended to my needs promptly. My husband stayed as a lodger for 2 nights and they made sure he was well taken care of as well. Discharge process was smooth, with medications sent to the ward so no need to wait at pharmacy. Pricy for sure but this is one of the premium private hospital afterall.

I’m daughter of a cataract patient whom have checked in today. Service at lobby concierge was smooth and the Chinese man whom attended to us was polite. However when we went into the ward to wait for my dad’s surgery, the Indian nurse whom attended to us was rude and harsh. She lacked patience and empathy when speaking to my dad with regards to his health history and medications he’s currently taking. The amenities here is better as compared to other private hospitals but the service staff / nurses are lacking. We thought that the service here will be better as compared to Gleneagles as this is a more reputable hospital but it ended up being a disappointment instead.

It’s my 1st choice of hospital and soon to be last. NIGHTMARE. Normally other ‘PRIVATE’ hospital do have free parking for the caregiver but apparently they only give FREE PARKING to people who are there for child labour other than ‘NORMAL ILLNESS’ you/caregiver are suppose to suck the parking fees itself and knowing that you are a PATIENT paying SUPER HIGH premium price to the HOSPITAL. Overall the Ward nurses will awesome. The A&E 2 lady nurses was super sweet. It’s probably the management part. Patient are patient why do your have to classify? Every patient have to pay a premium price just staying in your hospital despite it being self-pay or insurance. Anyway for all patient kindly checked the invoice amount. Basically overcharging everything so please double check it in detail.

Took my daughter to A&E and had the worst experience with the nurses who tried to take blood. No communication & they were just pulling her in all different directions so I had to ask them to stop as she was panicking. Also for a person with a foreign insurance please don’t come here as they don’t accept any guarantee for out / or in patient so you have to pay everything upfront. They wanted to admit my daughter and wanted me to pay 6000-11000sgd upfront and then claim on insurance. And they wouldn’t give her any treatment for dehydration if we were not admitted so even if she was super poorly I had to leave and go to a different hospital.

If you have an option, such as for elective procedures, go to another hospital. Avoid this one. The pre-admission check-in is terrible. I was told to wait for 2 hours, because they give priority to admissions for the same day, and there were about 10 people ahead of me. Fair enough. I went after 2 hours, again was told that the wait will be another 2 to 4 hours - I asked them to give me a call, or a definite time, as I was waiting at the cafeteria. No luck. It is now 24 hours after the queue number and my phone number has being given to them, and I still haven’t heard back on when they are ready to process of my pre-admission! 10 people were ahead of me in the queue - so that’s about 2.5 hours per check-in. Not a great advert for efficiency. The absurd thing is that the people at the check-in know this, but will refuse to give a time because they know that you are in need and they can act pricey. So, fair warning - if possible avoid this hospital. Maybe the Singapore private healthcare is going the US route - inefficient, bloated, and expensive. Sad state of affairs.

😠 My son had a day surgery on Feb 17. Although the surgery went well and the care rendered by the surgeon and outpatient ward nurses were amazing, unfortunately the post discharged experience was a disaster. We followed up with the business office on the e-filing for insurance claim in March after re...

😠 Long queue at the pharmacy. I had to ask an old lady to stop waiting and get a seat, I will let her know when it is her turn. I would have expected a better system, allowing people to scan their NRIC, get a Q number and be seated to wait. Tan Tock Seng Hospital can do better. This is Singapore, not...

😠 Made an appointment for a PCR test (they give you the time slot), waited two hours in a crammed together in a group of lines to register for my pcr test. Absolutely abismal, barely any AC, and total confusion. One guy next to me was a “walk in” and he waited for 4.5 hours to be seen. Why they still...

👍👍 One of the better hospitals to visit. Modernised look and not too crowded. Don't be fooled by the negative comments. Waiting time is always about demand and supply, and you don't know what is going on behind the scene or what concurrent duties frontline staff are facing. Hospital is constantly promo...
