Would
not
recommend
to
anybody
for
childbirth.
Am
amazed
the
rating
is
that
high
but
guess
when
people
give
it
5
stars
based
on
a
hospital
tour
given
by
the
PR
nurse
trying
to
sell
a
service
or
friends
of
staff
leave
them,
that
would
explain
it.
We
had
our
baby
girl
delivered
there
and
it
was
one
of
the
most
unpleasant
experiences.
Chaotic,
disorganized
check
in,
disorganized
swab
test,
then
had
a
nurse
barge
into
the
delivery
suite
in
the
middle
of
the
night
wanting
to
do
the
swab
test
again.
We
asked
for
epidural
during
labour,
my
partner
was
writhing
in
severe
pain
and
nurse
had
nothing
better
to
do
than
literally
hold
the
consent
form
in
her
face
insist
for
her
to
sign
5
times…after
birth
we
were
rushed
out
of
the
delivery
suite,
My
partner
was
transferred
from
delivery
bed
dolly
to
transport
bed
dolly,
up
the
public
elevator
(for
anybody’s
use)
to
the
ward
and
then
transferred
into
the
ward
room
bed
dolly
by
robotic
nurses
who
literally
closed
the
curtain
in
my
face
to
give
her
“privacy”.
Ridiculous.
All
this
within
30mins
of
delivery
and
subsequent
stitches.
Generally
found
all
the
nurses
in
the
ward
robotic
and
only
real
memorable
for
the
wrong
reason
was
the
one
highlighting
the
fact
that
the
syringes
cost
50cents
when
we
asked
for
some
in
order
to
bring
the
colostrum
up
to
the
NICU.
The
only
redeeming
factor
was
the
professionalism
of
Dr
Pamela
Tan
and
Dr
Ang
AT
and
the
great
nurses
in
the
NICU
ward
and
the
lady
delivering
the
meals
to
the
room.
Checking
out
was
also
disappointing,
apparently
people
don’t
ask
for
a
breakdown
of
the
bill
so
that
took
a
while
to
do.
Apparently
the
“lactation
consultant”
who
barged
into
the
room
on
the
first
day
was
not
promoting
breast
feeding
but
seems
a
$
60
service
which
she
never
mentioned
and
only
came
up
when
questioning
that
item
in
the
detailed
bill.
The
service
and
sensitivity
lack
continued
when
settling
the
birth
bill
when
was
told
we
had
to
pay
the
accrued
charges
for
the
NICU
now
as
a
deposit.
Do
people
really
rather
forgo
their
newborns
in
the
NICU
then
pay
the
bill?
We
refused
to
pay
the
$60
out
of
principal
on
an
overall
bill
of
over
15k.
Today
we
got
the
phonecall
that
we
have
$60
outstanding
and
need
to
pay
it
now.
Apparently
the
lady
will
get
her
manager
to
call
us
as
she
was
unhappy
with
our
answer
again.
It
wld
have
been
fine
if
it
was
clearly
mentioned
that
it
is
a
chargeable
service.
Like
any
business,
its
about
making
money
but
would
expect
a
certain
level
of
service
and
patient
experience
which
unfortunately
doesn’t
exist
at
TMC.
