    Well equipped and experienced heart specialists. It is amazing. I found sign boards labelled in 4 languages. The details care for the patients. Just on my last visit, I read the โ€œdonate your bio specimens - blood or Saliva to BioBankโ€. It is heartfelt effort labelled un-noticeably on the wall 4x2 m long. Take a moment at level 4 of the section for Rooms 12-18. Room 18 provides the consult of ECG. Stay at the waiting area for your queue number.

    The National heart centre Singapore is a modern world class facility. Many local Singaporeans and foreigners seek treatment here. It is well staffed with a dedicated courteous staff in every category right from the reception on the ground floor thro registration and the consultant category. Every aspect of the waiting patient comfort has been thaught of and sorted. Though many patients seek treatment here at any one time the place dosent look crowded as such. It has a very unique eye catching exterior from the road outside.

    This place 10years ago their patient care and services was good . Now if I have a choice I wonโ€™t want to go back there. The first impression of the senior doctor was not very good, interacting with her increase my heartbeat felt like I am wasting her time if I stay a second longer to understand and digest what she is trying to tell me. The heart stress test was a horrible experience . Understand they trying to get a good scan and need to add some pressure but the young junior Ultrasound therapist was using all her strength pressing on my ribs. I did mention pain once but it was not so much taken into consideration. I went home with some swell on the rib and surrounding areas pain for a few days. Second visit was the final review and I was discharged. Condition not life threatening which is a good news however precaution is better then anything , I was trying to digest again what she has just explain to me in second and would like to know what can I do to improve or be concern of any specific alarming sign before I treat it as it is just my regular palpitation. Doctor know everything but I donโ€™t. thatโ€™s why I make a point to go see you to treat or to understand my condition and to take precaution before I just collapse somewhere. Not only severe condition patient then worth your attention neither you should discriminated a patient when she is having a mild condition. This doctor might be a senior heart consultant but I donโ€™t see much of her heart for her patient. Is this hospital overloading their staff or they are just train to be task oriented ?

    I would like to compliment staff Mary Anne Samonte, Medical Lab Technologist, for her professionalism in attending to patient. She is very friendly and cheerful. My husband is very comfortable on his visit for blood taking. She is an examplary staff and an asset to the organisation. Than you๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

    Thank you so much for the following staff -Senior Staff Nurse Teo Soo Zhien -Swee bee -PSA Grace Esquirdo who accomodated our resident in the nursing home during TCU, from the registration to taking vital signs up to taking the medication with passion and excellent service. Thank you because during her mood swing attack due to dementia you allowed her to stay in the treatment room and providing her comfort by giving her pillow, blankets and water to make her more comfortable, I really salute you Soo Zhien you really seved with compassion and a HEART.

    National heart center is so class.. Only one thing that i feel and dont want to see,its malay food at the cateen at level of 2..for me look so Digusthing.How they prepare the food the contener they put the food is Terable .look eemm and they malay lady face its not friendly..food its eemm. This is hpl,food Presentation also is very important .Pls do something.. Dont let NHC reputation and drop becouse of the food. Thanks u.

    Brought my mum to clinic 4A. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They ensure that both of us understand the procedure that she was going through. The Dr tried to pull out her detailed heath record which was done by hospital under NHG but cannot as it is of different system from Singhealth. Would like to share another recent incident where my friend's mother was in very critical condition and was sent to SGH by SCDF. SGH cannot find her record because she had been seeing Dr in NUH. Would like to propose to have national wide system where all restructured hospitals share the same information, to improve patient care.

    Going to 8A SAF Cardiac Fitness Centre? When you enter, place your letter in a box literally next to the registration counter and wait. Remember to bring your Parent/Guardian for the Treadmill run, they need to sign a form. What I went through: Ultrasound Scan Treadmill Run Consultation

    Was here due to NS Medical Checkup, customer service is great, queue was fast, cardiac technologist for ECG and Holter was professional, counter staff was friendly, auntie at the clinic door in level 5 was friendly. Very clean and nice environment. Great experience overall.

    Went for a scan and was attended by this nurse . The way she speak think she is from china . The way she handle is veri rough and painful. Told her is painful she say must exert more pressure if not canโ€™t see clearly the scan Nurse are supposed to be gently but the way she did was not a pleasant experience. The next day my chest and and the heart area feeling painful as she apply too much pressure

    Everything is so sophisticated and "upgraded" (including price) , and pleasant except for the "senior" heart consultant. Everything upgraded but not this person/thing...no heart , rude, oblivious to patients'needs...only concerned about it's high salary only. Please, what's the high management doing? request for timing change on same date to afternoon timing...so many times all these years I highlighted and repeated like a radio that I'm working FULL TIME and not a retiree, yet still give me the very early timing..I got to rush down and transfer bus to take mrt, take 2 hours to come down...told the hotline staff, hotline staff told me to inform the counter staff...counter staff told me to call hotline to change appointment. Everytime like that... pushing all the way...told them to note down that I want afternoon slot, no one take notes and every year same thing repeat again.. terrible...all these suckers sleeping is it...go balik Kampong lah no need salary to pay them , very irresponsible... the ultimatum is they tell you to call everyday to check availability of slots..hey didn't I tell you I'm working full time???!!

    I was fortunate enough to have Professor Senior Dr Tan Ju Le for my PFO closure at NHCS. Professor Snr Dr Tan is a very approachable, very experience, and a very attention to detail Prof Snr Doc. It was definitely a worry free experience and I can have my 100% trust in her good expertise. Wish to also extend my appreciation to the NHCS Nurses(SSU) and the Assistants of Prof Snr Dr Tan that I have encountered during my stay at the โ€œShort Stay Unitโ€ were very meticulous, approachable and demonstrated high professionalism. Iโ€™m definitely being well taken care of. My unwanted health condition has been made a wonderful experience @ NHCS. Grateful to have Prof Snr Dr Tan and the Team for this wonderful experience.     A very massive heart centre.. plenty of carpark lots, but it is not cheap.. limited food choices at 2nd floor.. blood test and pharmacy at 2nd floor, but check up on 4th floor.. staff are all very friendly and nice.. lots of patient everyday, at perk, you could wait for hours for blood test.

    was here at 8.30am altho my appt was 9.40. Now at 10am my nmbr was called but the counter failed to give me a blood test form. So how? im back to counter to wait for blood test form and then ive to rejoin the Q. What a mess!!!! Bad coordination poor planning lack of communication. Speaks poorly of our Govt healthcare system. Luckily no war

    l was there on 6th Jan for a few checkups and lab test was done last. l paid the rest but for the lab test, the receptionist said l can pay it when l visit again in March to see doctor for the results. Furthermore, the machines may not have this bill yet. A week into it, l started receiving multiple times SMS for the payment. Then a few calls from them to pay up. Like a Loan Shark hounding at my phone. At first l thought were scam calls & finally l talked to the lady on the phone & explained to her. She was very apologetic and told me to ignore the SMS. Subsequently l tried to pay up at my nearest Singhealth polyclinic but they are NOT linked. l tried to pay at AXA at the RC center next to the polyclinic but the screen was unreadable. Then the busyness of CNY came. Now l received a letter demanding to pay up immediately or l will be fined that $19.35 bill. Such a beautiful building with great interiors and good services ( those l have been to so far). It seems the Billing Departments needs to clarify within the organisation on HOW they want customers to pay up. Perhaps they should also seriously consider talking to the machines too!!

    Appointment supposed to be at 0950 with Dr Zhu ling. Been here for nearly to 3hr and my q number is NT being called! All the patients came in before me GT their number call..wht the point of making appt if the sequence of appt is NT being followed

    Went here for my physio therapy . Came here due to my dizziness as well as my nystagmus. The person who check me ask detailed questions to assess me better of my condition.she also did few test to check for my eye strength in reading different letters.. balance when i stand on one foot .. howmy eyes movewhen i wear the goggles over my head They also did manoevers or me to detect if my dizziness is it due to BPPV or other causes I find the test they did is helpful in assessing why my body react a certain way . However i find much need to be done to provide better service for patients .there should be a more holistic approach . My condition did not cure unfortunately but the therapist did give me suggestion of exercise i can try at home to help with my symptoms.

    Like all the PAP Hospital. It looks great from outside but inside managment run shamble. They don't arrange all the checking point at the same place. It scatter here and there. Worst of all the monitors are not showing the same information. The Receptionist only read to you where to go but didn't point to you the actual location. Same to the health care staff at different checking point. After they attend to you they never ensure you go to the proper next station to wait for the next checking. You were left wondering why pass your appointment time still the monitor didn't show your information. On the other hand the physician was wondering in the consultation room where the patient dissapear after check-in.

    my non fasting blood test appt was actually 1400 hrs but I came in at 11am . Explained my situation to the nurses at the registration counter . They were very nice and sweet to accommodate an earlier time. Proceeded to do my blood test and the medical tech was nice and pleasant. Overall experience was quick and made easy for me by the nurses . Thank you and kudos the healthcare team of NHCS โœจ keep up the good work .

    I was there on Monday. I was late for about 10mins due to a massive traffic jam. I got there & went straight to register. A guy attended to me, took my slip, had a look & told me to sit down & wait to be called. I waited patiently for about an hour & finally I could not take it any more & went back to the same guy & asked him, just in case he told me to wait at the wrong place. And true enough, he took my slip & saw the 4A Cardiac Imaging & told me, โ€œyou had waited at the wrong place.โ€ And you know what, it was you who told me to wait at THAT place!!! There was not a single word of sorryโ€ฆ I wasted an hour waiting for nothingโ€ฆ sigh Thankfully, when I went to the right clinic, I was well attended toโ€ฆ

    With the heart specialist, Dr Paul Limโ€™s advice, had a catheter ablation procedure done on my in-born heart syndrome that had created symptomatic abnormality symptoms at my mid life. Had an interesting experience in the procedure theatre by Dr Paul Lim and his ops team . He had done his best to ablate my extra electrical pathway. During my reviews with him, it shown that my symptom has been resolved and my conditions are much better than before. Anyhow, my hub and I have came across several hospital doctors in the past; he was one of whom gave us deep and good impression, perfect combination of responsibility, care and concern. Also would like to thank you so much to the MO, nurses specially the night shift nurse at the ward for their cares and concerns during my stay on 15th Oct 2021.     Pleasant experience getting an MRI here. All staffs are polite, friendly, concise. Environment was also quite comfortable. Perhaps because there wasn't a crowd at that period.

    The Indian lady at registration counter 3 needs to improve her attitude. I asked to use my medisave for my mum bills and her tone was disastrous and unlike of a medical staff. She even lament this openly to her colleague at counter 2. I hope the management look into this strictly.

    I don;t understand why patient with breathless, giddyness and numb in the limps can't access directly to NHCS. The detour to polyclinics is so redundant and time wasting. Very disappointed. Please change your name to private heart centre!!!

    Very bad experience. Came for an appointment but the doctor has gone back. I was only informed after sitting at the waiting room for 40 minutes. I was late by 6 minutes because of traffic jam. They have my phone and could have called me if the doctor wants to go back. Very unprofessional service.

    Called in to placed the order, staff on phone insist that I have to present a copy of the prescription to proceed, I had suggested to provide the patient's name and nric, given such information she would had known that the prescription is on thier side, but she wouldn't check. I had to waste another effort to email to get verification of the prescription and order. Time to get replacement on such incapable staff.

    appointment at 5pm went in at 640pm+?????? came out to pay but system hung. afterwards my mum and i went to the pharmacy to collect medication. pharmacy was CLOSED the waiting time is horrendous and the worst part is that i didnโ€™t even get my medication in the end??? i am extremely upset with this terrible experience

    Unbelievable! After the previous patient had ECG done, didnโ€™t wipe the couch...just drag paper over it! The previous patient was elderly. The next patient also elderly. If no one requests a wipe down, itโ€™s not done. And this is a hospital where we expect the highest standards of hygiene!!! Wake up your ideas! COVID-19 second wave has hit other countries already!!!

    This place is big but to go into the place is by the side which is inconspicuous n may miss the entrance. Waiting time is killing n it's just like rubber time.

    Centre is quite clean and new , everything is fine despite the long waiting time hehe . I was really impressed by how Dr Chong Jun Hua cared for her patient. She is very detailed and soft and caring each time when I visit her๐Ÿฅบ this kind of doctor is rare nowadays and I felt so lucky ๐Ÿ˜ from: A5137 ๐Ÿ™†โ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™†โ€โ™€๏ธ

    My son was performed cannulation without prior notification to me and during my absence as I was still doing his registration. when I saw him outside the lab, the IV tube was already inserted without my knowledge, and caused dismay to my child. This is totally unacceptable in my opinion and despite my feedback to the Office of Patient Experience, the Assistant Nursing Director did not suggest it to be of concern. I urge all parents to stick close to your children when visiting this hospital as we don't know what they will do without our knowledge I would have given no Stars if there is an option. Poorly managed in my opinion

    Visited NHCS with my dad for his MRI appointment today. The staff there were all very friendly and passionate during our visit today. They constantly reassured my dad and he was well taken care of by the staff there. The senior staff nurse on duty also kept coming to update me of my dad's situation while I was waiting in the wait area. We want to thank and show our appreciation to the staff for being so professional, going beyond to make patients and their family feel assured. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for all the dedication all of you bring to your profession everyday. We appreciate and notice the hard work you put in to keeping our communities safe. Please stay strong and take care!
