Been awhile since I have been to the Clinic and similar to most of the recent reviews, I was really quite appalled by the receptionist's service. Most of them are okay except for a particular male staff who served me. His tone and facial expressions just threw me off, even when asking simple questions, he sounded very rude as if I owed him something. I do not expect high class service from a clinic but would just like a decent interaction without feeling as if I was wrong to go to the clinic. I would like to ask on the follow-up actions on this as I can observe that there have been quite many similar reviews and would not want any patient go through such a poor customer experience.

As other review suggests, this clinic has the worst and rude receptionist. I walked in slightly after 12:30 as I notice that clinic closes at 1pm. During check in, the male receptionist keeps suggesting that I shall come back after lunch. I politely asked what would happen if I choose to wait, and the answer is that no guarantee i can see doctor before 1pm when the clinic closes for lunch. I said okay, I am willing to take a chance and wait. A few minutes later a female walked over and talked to the male receptionist (I guess she's pointing at my registration on computer screen). The male receptionist just loudly responded to the lady that "She said she could wait till 2pm" in a very sarcastic tone. I was like, hello, you are talking about me as if I am not standing in front of you? And what I said was I am willing to take a chance to wait till 1pm. I did NOT say that I can wait till 2pm. In addition, in the waiting area, this clinic has very dirty sofa with stains all over it. Its really a horrible experience to see doctor in this clinic. Hope the clinic management really do something about it.

I commend the professionalism of both the male receptionist, the nurses as well as the medical doctor Dr Benny Chua who didn’t wash me down but carefully explained how GPs differentiate and diagnose viral versus bacterial infections when dispensing antibodies. I needed a course of antibodies. I got the antibodies which I will complete. My main points/ constructive suggestions were as follows: 1) If mask wearing policy is mandatory, make sure all patients wear masks. It has become socially acceptable for so many students and patients to just swagger in without masks, coughing and sniffling. Spare a thought to those who do not wish to get upper respiratory illnesses!!! Nurses and front counter staff must be very resolute in enforcing this policy. Provide them a free mask, or ask them to pay a token sum if they do not have. Or else it’s just optics when you put up the sign mandating mask wearing in the clinic. 2) The sofa really needs to be chemically washed clean. This is an up-class private clinic in an up-class university. I am shocked to see such stains on the sofa. 3) I missed my turn because I had to go to the toilet. I would appreciate it if I was given another number, or ensured that I would be put next in line. I definitely will respect being allocated another number. No problem with that. But I wouldn’t want to be lost in the queue, not knowing when I will be seen. Overall, the patients who came in were not socially responsible. I ended up giving out 3 free duckbill masks to patients. Luckily, they were very grateful and thanked me when they left the clinic. Look into enforcing this policy strictly. COVID endemic is far from over. And COVID is NOT just a normal flu.

I've never posted a review before but I really was just so upset. Earlier today at around 10am (21st March), as I was walking to SMU, I slipped because the pavements were wet. I landed knees first onto the road. At first, I tried not to mind it, but eventually my knees developed really prominent scratches (and a bit of bleeding) that started to hurt. I went to the clinic (only 2 other people were there at the time), showed my knees and explained, and kindly asked if it would be possible for me to have my knees bandaged. The male staff wearing glasses rolled his eyes and gave me a single band aid. I asked if I could have another for my other knee, and he rolled his eyes again and said something along the lines of "Was it really hard for you to go to 7-11 to buy yourself your own plasters?". I was so taken aback by the comment, considering the fact that I already had a hard time walking properly because of my wounds. And I don't think it would be very unreasonable for me to go to the clinic at my school if I thought I needed some help for situations like this. If the clinic really would not have given me any plasters, he could have just said that he couldn't instead of making that snarky comment. I told my friends what happened and one of them also had an unpleasant experience with that male staff member. I know that work can be stressful, and I truly apologize if I was an inconvenience to him. But I don't think my question should have warranted that distasteful response. I hope that my feedback can be received appropriately as I wouldn't want anyone to experience this treatment when they need help or medical assistance.

3stars only for great location. Staff there including female doctor are rude. No sense of empathy or care for the patients that come in. Female doctor was arrogant. For them it may be a business but for us patients we are not only looking for medication but as professionals in health care to provide care, show concern and reassurance. Everyone there is utterly cold. Better to replace with robots. There is no human touch in this clinic at all. P.S not my first time there. As mentioned the location is great. Hence why I go there. But with much dread.

I accompanied my father to visit the clinic on Nov 22 2022. it was a locum dr on duty.. He was extrememly unprofessional and rude. When asked for a referal letter to see the specialist, he even said I did not see any reason I should give you one. Your father just said that it was all his fault that he is sick. Why should I refer him to see the specilist. After we tried so hard to please him in order to get a referral letter, he agreed to give us one and asked us to wait outside. We have waited for so long. He suddenly rushed out and left! The staff said he is already off the work.. The staff has no record that he had written any letter for us. The staff also looked confused and did not know how to communicate with this doctor..I can't believe there is such a kind of doc on earth. To the clinic staff and Dr. Melvin, please and please, never ask this person on duty anymore. How he behaved made the patients and staff really uncomfortable.

Last May, I went in to the Clinic with shortness of breath, pounding heart, chest pain, etc. They do scans of my heart and tell me: you are about to have a heart attack. They call the hospital, and 10 min later they come. As I am being brought out of the clinic, they stop me - I haven't paid yet. AS I AM HAVING A HEART ATTACK AND AM BEING TAKEN INTO AN AMBULANCE, THEY STOP ME FOR 5 MINUTES TO PAY. I offer to leave my card. No. My wallet. No. My ID. No. I am lucky my heart didn't give out. It is sad they are more concerned with $100 than my life. I only return to the Clinic @ Campus if I am prepared to die.

like many people who commented reviews as of late, i had encountered the same issue with the male receptionist. while i completely understand that he has a disability which causes him to perform in a different way, i find it inadequate that someone with this type of disability works as a receptionist in a clinic. for a clinic which is generally a place where people are meant to see recovery, a place of comfort and friendliness is important for the patient. Having someone who often comes off as cold and standoff-ish as a receptionist can make the environment feel less comforting and can leave a negative opinion of the clinic as a whole on the patient, and judging by the amount of recent reviews on this receptionist, has clearly made an impact on the reputation of the clinic. I fully support supporting those with disabilities and giving them chances, however i was very thrown off by his social cues that he gave me during our interaction. Therefore i will have to say that even though i think it’s a good thing that he was given a chance, it’s not a very suitable position. That being said, he was relatively efficient. Although his tone of voice often sounded condescending, i could sometimes hear him try to sound a bit more compassionate. I have to commend him on his effort, even if i still felt uncomfortable. That being said, i still stand by my previous points. The doctor i was put with (Dr. Lim) was very kind and efficient. He was very helpful and welcoming to me. I am unsure if i would return to this clinic, but it’s overall good and the only issue i had was with the receptionist.

Went to level 1 specialist clinic on 02 Nov. Firstly, Doctor Chin is nice and very experienced doctor to consult. However, the reception could be better. When i went to collect the medication, I initiated to tell the reception I am under the company insurance group, and the reception gave a puzzled look and told me that I should tell them before I made the appointment. I do not need such unnecessary remarks or reaction and they should just simply allow me to fill the insurance group information, and review on how they can improve the process so that this administrative mistake can be improved. I suggest to improve things please train your reception to ask patient if they are making the appointment under insurance group as a standard procedure as this will help patients provide all information required to make the appointment. Another issue I found is that the reception told me because I am under company insurance they will be no invoice provided to patient. I know that clinic submit claims directly to the insurance group but patient not getting an invoice is very concerning. Do also note that when I go to other clinics like Q&M Medical they do provide invoice to patients even if it is claimed under the company insurance. The reason for giving the invoice to patient is for reconciling with the claims made to the insurance group with patient copy invoice to resolve discrepancy in claims. In short it is to prevent insurance fraud, where clinics or hospital could submit doctored claims and they is no way for insured patient to dispute the claims since they is no invoice provided to them. When I told the reception that other clinics also providing invoice in such circumstances and commented that is very unusual why no invoice is provided to me, none of the receptionists in the reception area could be bothered to even respond or engage with my comments/feedback and instead went with a "silent treatment" towards me. Now I find this very rude and unprofessional. They should very least acknowledge my comments and ask me to submit a feedback officially.

This is the only review I ever had to write and here is the reason why... Worst "clinic" I have ever been to. Extremely rude staff, including the doctors. I had a small cut on my nose that wouldn't stop bleeding, so I came to get it stitched. I waited for around an hour before I saw the first doctor. But he was not able to take of the steristrip (special plaster), so he send me back to wait for the only "nurse" to remove it (I told him i just need tweezers to do it myself). I waited another 20mins before I approached her in the kitchen, where she was sitting and drinking coffee (there were another 15-20 patients waiting). She didn't barely talk to me and sent me back to the "waiting room". After 5 more mins she came out of the kitchen and wanted me to wait some more. I could hear her gossiping with the doctor about me... In the end I had to remove the steristrip by myself and when I told them that it probably needs to get stitched (I already told them in the beginning), they said that I need to get it done in the hospital. Not even one of the doctors had seen my wound to this point. While they were preparing the two sentence letter for the hospital within another 20 mins, I waited until a patient got out of the doctors office, knocked there and asked if he can maybe look at the wound real quick and tell me if I really need to go to the hospital. But instead of replying to me Dr. Lim was shouting really mad to the receptionists: "Why is this patient in my office?". At this point I was really fired up, so I took the prepared letter and went to the hospital. No one of the "very professional" staff even thought about giving me a plaster to cover up the open wound. Why would anyone hire these kinds of people?

Doctors are good but the reception staff is young and unprofessional and borderline negligent. One staff person tried hard to upsell my husband on a flu shot which was administered by a nurse in one of the small rooms near the waiting area, then when we went to see the doctor she mentioned that she recommended waiting for a Southern Hemisphere flu shot to be released since the current one they had available was targeted at flu strains in the Northern Hemisphere. Once, I brought my child who had been home for 5 days with a cold that had run its course a few days prior. The Dr who had initially issued the MC was said to be on duty according to the sign at reception. It was toward the end of the day and we needed to receive a simple follow up "well check" as required to return to school the next day (in addition to the expiry of a normal MC, they require an additional checkup). It was 30 minutes before the clinic was due to close and the waiting room was empty, but the receptionist said that they wouldn't take another patient, and instead said that she recommended that we take this healthy child to A&E (during a pandemic?!). When I asked where the closest A&E was located, she said she was "not too sure".

Place closes at 530, went in at 410 was told not taking anymore patients as there is still a queue to see doctor, did a headcount and saw 3 - 4 more people. Based on past experience with this clinic, consultations last 5 to 10 mins, not the first time I've heard of the clinic closing way earlier than stated as well

Booked a health screening package with StarMed and one of the worst thing I hated was the invitation of a student to observe the consultation session with the doctor. First, the doctor did not ask for my consent and just told me it was his student. Second, during the consultation, he asked me to take off my clothes and lie on the bed and I had to politely ask the student to leave, something he should have done since I am a man and the student was a young girl. After a couple of weeks, I had a follow up to discuss the results and again there was another female student and again without my consent discussed all my issues with cholesterol, eating habits and telling me I was fat. Felt really disgusted with the whole incident and would never recommend anyone to StarMed. In fact, I shared the incident with my colleagues and advised them to go to other hospitals where they won't feel like they were being experimented on. PS: The only bad experience I had was with the consulting doctor. All the nurses and assistants were outstanding and professional with their service.

There is a lot left to be desired in terms of service and professionalism. I had submitted an enquiry for an appointment about two weeks before, but did not receive any reply so I had called the clinic and was told that due to the purpose of my appointment, I can walk in. On the day itself, I was chided by the staff at the counter that I should have made an appointment rather than walk-in. The staff and dr had both failed also to inform what needed to be done and did not ensure that the necessary tests were completed that day. Incredulously, I received a call two weeks AFTER the appointment to say that the check up was incomplete and was demanded to tell them when I can come down again…I have not lost so much faith in a healthcare clinic before.

Most lethargic staff there, a simple work had to be done - upload my vaccination status to NIR, been 2 days and the receptionist says “ will do in a bit “. Honestly useless clinic. Please pay extra and go to a private clinic. Horrible experience. Literally delayed my ICA appointment what the hell……

Convenient location, friendly staff and very reasonable prices. I did my full health checkup and got everything done quickly. What I really liked is that they occupy a few floors in the building and have all the necessary machines in one location. Denise their CSR manager was also a great help in getting my insurance payments sorted out. Highly recommended

Visit the GP on 25th August morning. The young Chinese female nurse with long hair has bad attitude, not as good as rest of the nurse (except for short hair nurse as well). But her attitude very good when talking to her colleagues. Luckily the doctor is very nice, I think is Dr Chin. Hopefully next time is previous nurse here to do the registration.

My first visit to this clinic because I needed to take sinovac vaccine. The customer service process is nonexistent. Clinic staff including the guard gave no or wrong instructions. For starters, guard told me to wait outside for a nurse to receive me… I was trusting enough to follow the instruction but ended up waiting for 10 mins and past my appointment time, only to see no nurse ever came out. So I decided to walk in myself against the guards instruction. Similar lack of attention persisted after I went inside. In summary, I arrived early for my vaccination appointment at 11:30 am and ended up waiting around for 45 mins. Please tell me what’s the point of an appointment? Vaccine took 2 mins; monitoring took 10 mins (when they said it should be 15 mins). In general not a place that inspires confidence or trust.

Very unprofessional. I came back to get my testing result on the appointment date, but was only then told by the receptionist that the doctor is half day and some more won’t come back to this clinic due to COVID. I have then to be rescheduled to another day with anther clinic which is very far away. (If I know this would happen, I won’t even come to this clinic at first due to the distance) My time was wasted. Staff here should at least ensure that patient has been notified on time for any changes.

I attended the clinic for a health checkup. Dr Yee, the radiologist and the nurses were experienced, professional and efficient at their job. I only wish I could say the same for the receptionist Denise, who had none of the above qualities. She was rude and lacking in professionalism. That would still be fine but for what happened while I was making payment, during which she made unnecessary and insensitive remarks about my private matters. Her remarks were overheard by a room full of people and it was very embarrassing to me. For this reason alone, I would not really want to come here again.

The HR and marketing team at The Clinic Group is probably one of the best I've come across so far. I applied to The Clinic Group for work attachment and they replied my email within hours, which I am honestly very satisfied with. Shvonne was really so nice to me and it was overall a really pleasant experience. Thank you to The Clinic Group and for the effort put in from the team! + really looking forward to working with you soon! <3

As an SMU student, I have been here multiple times, and this most recent incident really takes cake. I made an appointment for my vaccination 6 months prior. On the day of my vaccination I arrived at 2pm (which was the stipulated time of my appointment). I handed my ID card to the counter staff upon arrival. After waiting for 40 minutes, my friend who arrived at 2.30pm got registered by the staff. I decided to join her and went up to the counter to enquire about my registration. The counter staff responded by asking me if I had given my ID to her yet.... and my ID card was actually on her desk the entire time.... By the time I finally got my vaccination jab, it was almost 3.20pm. While the staff were friendly enough, the overall inefficiency was frustrating. Many other patients were also waiting around for a long time. If you have 2 hours to kill then I would highly recommend this clinic.

The primary doctor of the clinic is Dr Mervin Lim, a young but caring and meticulous doctor. The clinic staff are friendly and helpful too. Aside general consultation services, they also provide wide range of health screenings and vaccination services. As the clinic can get busy at times, do call and get a queue number before heading down.

Rude counter staffs (except the Chinese middle age nurse, she is the nicer one as compare to the rest), one of the staff take back the namelist and throw it on her desk when I was about to write my details on list. Rude doctors (Esp the Chinese female), when I don't understand her question, I ask to clarify she was very annoyed and the tone she used to reply me was as if I am a dumb patient when actually is her unclear phrasing. Very dissapointed with the incident that I encounter. I hope they can be improve on the people skill, patients are also human. We don't deserve this kind of treatment :(

Bad experience on services. 1. The customer service never returned my IC after verification, I only realised that after I left the centre for hour, I called them immediately, but they asked me to come back another time to collect the IC as it was Sat which closing at 12pm. 2. On the day of medical report review, appointment made at 1030am, After 25 mins, I asked how long do I need to wait for? The customer services person in charge just tell me still got 2 patients waiting in front of me unfriendly and without feeling sorry. Then I only able to go for review at 1130am, which is 1 hour later. The review only took 5 mins. So I waited for 1 hour for 5 mins review. Obviously this centre lacks of Doctors. There is only one doctor to do medical checkup and also medical report review, surely it will be late. Please learn to be punctual and increase the quality of customer services.

I noticed they keep asking cleints to call them or send to their info email, but what is the point of doing this when they don't sincerely wants to follow up??

How long must i wait. This does not look like a specialist hospital. Look more like a normal clinic. Even ask us to come earlier. Whats the point? I come early also must wait like 1hours jus for a review. Stop taking more money while the service is horrible poor.

As the other reviewers had noted, the front desk staff are absolutely clueless and inefficient and the queue system is in a mess. Called to check on the queue and was told no one around, so rushed down immediately. First to arrive at the clinic ahead of lunch time crowd, but basically not issued a number and waited for 40 mins and still not my turn!!! Several patients that came after me had seen the doc while I'm still told to wait. Walked out before I even managed to see a doc. Last time going to the clinic. Complete waste of time!!!

I went there for a second time to pick up my blood test result. Even though I mentioned that clearly at the reception, she made me wait. I thought it was odd because she could simply hand me the result over. Anyway I waited thinking maybe she is busy - however after 20mins I went up to the counter and found out that she was registering me to see a doctor. I repeated that I came here to pick the result up. Then she took it out of the drawer and threw it on the counter. It was absolutely unpleasant experience and dont think I will ever go back there.

The doctor there is nice and professional. However, after consultation the staff take almost half an hour to complete a single prescription letter. And ask for consulting fee as “the case is not cover by insurance”, which I never encountered before in other clinic. They told me I can choose not to pay and leave the prescription there. I am glad that I didn’t pay 30 dollars for that. After that I got a very professional consultation in another clinic, and it was covered by my insurance as usual. I would highly recommend that clinic to u as it’s only 15 minutes walking distance from this one. The clinic is called Shenton Medical Group (Esplanade). The doctor and two staff there are really professional, efficient and friendly.

Not many clinics have staff who remember you and who will take calls and book your slots for you, but I get all these a more including reminders of my appointments through calls and smses at Clinic@campus. The doctors are knowledgeable and listen to you. They delve into details to explore issues. They have made very helpful diagnoses on my health. I am glad to have them as my family physician.

Had a really good experience at this clinic as Dr Chong took more time and effort in diagnosing me, unlike other clinics that made me feel like they were merely trying to clear patients as fast as they could. Nurses were nice and patient as well in answering questions. Thank you!

nice doctor and experience. nice ambiance except for the short haired staff of dr. chin..OMG. almost 2 years she still the same attitude. also scolding patient what to do acting she's a doctor. telling her im a just a patient and no idea what's happening on their side. never also contacted me or call me in advance for my next appointment as dr told me for almost 2 years. if you have personal problem gurl don't put it to your patients.

I had a fever and walked in for a consultation during only 3 minutes and tested 37.2 (while I had 38.8). The consultation is not serious and will not come back again.

    - queue number jumps weirdly, people who come before you gets to go first - even if you make an appointment you still have to wait for very long

Dr Mervyn Lim is v professional n efficient in diagnosis. He may seem very busy but in this age of writing real-time reports, where doctors look at the computer more than they look at patients, Dr Lim is v attentive to me as a patient, to the extent that i put away my phone and answer his questions directly!😃Good caring doctor!👏😃🙏 ( Disclaimer: I hv bn a patient of Dr Mervyn Lim for many yrs and am not related to him)

The doctor are not patient and easy to angry. It make me nervous. May not go to this clinic next time.

  • 5/5 K M. 1 year ago on Google
Everything is good, in my opinion, except that I really don’t think that receptionists should be asking for you to read out your NRIC number (furthermore having it repeated by them) which will then be made known to others in the clinic. Perhaps next time, suggest to just show our IC, student card or Singpass?

First time here as I had to follow my physiotherapist location for my therapy next two weeks. Glad it was easy to locate and get to. Would like to compliment HuiLi at reception for her prompt response in setting up my appointments very quickly upon my email request on same day within the hour. Hui Li was very attentive and helpful especially when she noticed my slight handicap, readily assisted me with my bags when it was my turn to consult. I noticed there is inconsistent fees at different locations for same treatment and therapist. I visit Taiseng for my physio but had to swing by Campus this week and next to be with same Therapist for my follow ups. Maybe it’s a city vs industrial location but anyhow I just want my arm back in top form since yesterday - so happy to be able to easily get appointed for my therapy! I always enjoy my therapy with Sonya and the session always seem short, candid and she makes me laugh my pain away! I never quite took my prescriptive “medicine” religiously coz I am a visual forgetful person. So this time it really helps I get some takeaway videos rituals of my to-do’s to be religious with to accelerate my recovery. Thank you Sonya & HuiLi!

Very good clinic. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. There's sometimes a bit of a wait, but that's unavoidable. When I've called them with questions, they've also been very helpful.

Closes registration even before the closing time while claiming that the doctor has more patients waiting. I was in the clinic at 510 and denied.

  • 1/5 Federico H. 4 years ago on Google
Waited 30’. Then asked the staff how much longer to wait : 45’ to an hour, because their “system was down”. She didn’t think it worthy to inform patients before wasting their time. Total incompetence. I went to Raffles Hospital GP right after .

  • 1/5 Denise C. 4 years ago on Google
Very incompetent staff, have been waiting for more than 1.5hours, but people who registered after me got to see the doctor before i did. checked with the counter staffs and their response was "Oh i thought you left.". Very unprofessional and ineffective queuing system in place

Great doctors! Really patient and caring. The staff at the front counter is soooo bad. They are not only slow but always chatting and gossiping. And their attitude is the worst. They basically have no manners whatsoever. Just plain rude.

I just got Hep A/B vaccines as well as Flu vaccines administered today in this clinic. Excellent service, and fuss free. All was done in a timely fashion and professionally, I felt very comfortable throughout. and one particular lady staff is knowledgeable about all types of vaccines. Especially when I wanted to know about the types of vaccinations required for travel. She patiently explained them one by one, and gave me recommendations accordingly. Keep up the good work! 💫

Started coming due to convenience, continued coming due to choice. The nurses are friendly and efficient, patient and jovial, making one feel easily at ease as I’ve had my blood taken multiple times (and it’s hard to get blood from me). Dr Mervin LIM has excellent bedside manners and beautifully balances care for the patient; with the patient’s right of choice.

Came here this morning for my health screening. Dr Chin Koy Nam is a GEM. He is extremely patient and reassuring, he makes the whole consultation session at ease. I even plan to arrange for my father and sister to see him for blood pressure management. Clinic nurse is very friendly and proactive to help as well. Thank you for the effective service rendered. On a side note, this building is very comprehensive. They even have a surgery and endoscopy centre.

Dr. Khoo is very good and explained things clearly but front desk staff service is poor. i. Advised us to go for scan but did not mention that need to fast becos of that need to wait 3 hrs at the scan center ii. We were given an appointment for followup checkup on day but I think in their system they booked a wrong day. When we came as per the date given to us, we were told we dont have appointment. Becos of this had to wait more than an hr to see the doctor. iii. After seeing the doctor the waiting time is longer to make payment and get the letter. There are more staff than the patients waiting but not sure why its taking a very long time. Its not just for us but I noted the same for other patients as well.

The nurse can work better in serving patient. they work very slow, and when i ask to help filling in insurance form it takes ages. when i call to check on the insurance form, they dont really bother. im really disappointed, dont said you are a specialist centre if you cant treat your patient specially.

I was diagnosed with hernia by Dr Shanker after 2 other doctors (not part of Starmed) were unable to do so. He was also the surgeon to fix my hernia. I am still not 100% recovered, but can say for now that all has been well. Dr Shanker and his team, foremost Felicia, who I have been in contact with the most, are extremely forthcoming on medical and organisational matters, very professional and just really friendly. I felt extremely well taken care of and can tell that Dr Shanker did a great job. I highly recommend him and his team.

I have been calling the clinic the whole day but was on leave a voice message and we will get back to you. Trying to book appointment for my pre employment check. It's so frustrating.. Strongly not recommended since its so hard to even get an appointment not to even mention nobody pick up the calls.

Had a positive experience with the doctors here – they were all experienced, professional, and friendly. Didn't feel like I was being rushed out of door. Spoke to Dr. Tan, Dr. Chiang and Dr. Chin. Really grateful that Dr. Louis Tan took a lot of time to thoroughly explain my examination results to me and he also answered my questions, which might sound like no-brainer questions to those in the medical field, without any tone of condescension. The clinic is also really clean and they provide some light refreshments (bread, porridge, drinks, biscuits), which really help if you need to wait. The clinic also allows some degree of flexibility to the screening packages here. I do feel that the receptionists on the ground floor aren't as friendly as the doctors though but the persons managing the clinic's WA account and phone calls are very accommodating.

I've been to this clinic a few times now and have heard experiences from my friends. Everyone has had issues with the male receptionist. And yes, while he may have disabilities, the clinic has said they will work with him to improve but from what I've experienced and heard, it seems that it has been for naught. I absolutely agree with the support of the disabled, however, imagine you're having a high fever and splitting headache, and dragged yourself all the way to the clinic, only to be met with snarky remarks and unpleasant interaction. This male attendant should be IMMEDIATELY removed from front-facing roles. Additionally, the customer-service standards at the clinic should be reviewed and closely monitored because the negative experience is also contributed by inaction of the other staff. Furthermore, I would also like to find out whether it's a clinic policy to have patients sit outside. What's the point of having seats inside if your clinic staff are going to tell your patients to wait outside? I've also heard of students being denied walk-ins for no rhyme or reason (clinic was barely filled; ~2 people inside) and there's no explanation beyond simply "we cannot accept anymore students, go to another clinic". No apologies or basic customer service at all.

Dishonest Staffs. If your clinic doesn’t accept walk in customers just tell them straight, don’t cause them waiting for few hours. My friend heard you told others (also walk in) that if they go online making appointment now, then next slot will be their turn while she had been waiting at your clinic for nothing. Dr. and receptionist are unprofessional.

The medical professionals at SMU demonstrated a high level of expertise and professionalism. Dr Mervin took the time to listen to my concerns about my shoulder injury, he thoroughly checked and explained the diagnosis, and discussed the recommended treatment plan in a way that was easy to understand. Overall, my experience here was extremely positive.
