It is dependent on the level to which elders are admitted too.

Wow. My first visit to KWSH was amazing. It is not lack of anything that a full pledge hospital has, and offer more. It sounds like a large scale traditional Chinese medical hospital. Remarkable and salute our ancestors leaving this valuable asset in Singapore. It was interesting for me to uncover corners resembling with China old style setting. Visit some of those pictures and hopeful you enjoy.

Horrible security guard. Cannot speak properly. Speak like a gangster and raising his voice against me when I wanted to explain. Didnt gave me any chance to explain at all and shouted so loudly to cover my voice so much that made everyone else stare at me like I am a criminal. Is this how a hospital environment should be? Everything is good except the security. A security with zero EQ.

Please review the attitude of your security personnel stationed by Serangoon Road at 7.40PM, 26th June 2022. I believe a hospital is built to serve a bigger purpose for the community, not to incite a fight with the general public. An honest mistake alighting at the wrong drop-off point was met with a man in security uniform’s poor choice of first words. Not hello, not excuse me but ‘Bro! why you alight here?! You don’t know anything you tell your driver alight here?’ Are you kidding? First and foremost, I have no say in where the Grab driver would like to drop me off. Second of all, surely he could have picked a better tone to explain or even question me. If this is the kind of security hired, I worry for the safety for anyone put up at the hospital there. I expect a follow-up response.

Doctor was very friendly and prompt. Appointment was on schedule, although there are some hip-cups during the registration the counter staff was quick to resolve it. Doctor was nice enough to advice me on the vaccination required for school.

Nice clean newly renovated environment but didn’t get a good experience with the TCM physician Lo C.H. After explaining to her about my wife condition, she passed many sarcastic remarks before checking her pulse, including accusations not related to her medical diagnosis ... She refused to close the door for patient’s privacy and insisted my wife to try her acupuncture treatment. Following that, she ignored us and attended to the next patient while we are still in the room. We felt that she is not professional judging from her service. We do not recommend this physician. Very disappointed with the visit, wasted my time.

Awesome TCM

Went to KWS Hospital as part of a guided walking tour. The grounds of the hospital is spacious and peaceful. And I learnt that the building where the Heritage Gallery is used to be part of the old Tan Tock Seng Hospital. The Heritage Gallery (free) tells the history of the hospital grounds. I guess the exhibits could be made more interactive for visitors.

Why do I get the results of Healthway Medical when I search for Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital? It's very misleading. Did Healthway Medical just override Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital's placing on google maps search results?

We visit the clinic at 1050am on 10 Aug. There was one chinese lady nurse wear specs at the counter. By the way she is short hair. She is very rude towards the patients. She shouted at us when we take our medicine. There were no one at the clinic and yet we waited more than half an hour for our medicines. She purposely dont want to give our medicines and she give me the face like i owe her a thousand dollar. Please do your training on the nurses on customer services. We will never visit this clinic again because of her. So as all of friends and colleagues. Many of my colleagues complain about her as well.

I was at room 4 today and was attended by physician Ms.Tay everything went well until when we about to use the BP equipment we noticed the equipment was faulty and Tudeley was damaged that deprived my examination and I wonder how long the equipment had been out of order and all those subsidy and donations can't replace a basic equipment this is a short coming and lapse hopefully it can be replace ASAP.. thank

Elderly care: Nurse in Charge, Ho Wee Ling. Sounds extremely rude towards patient family members. No doubts, she may be the most experience nurse, however she is lack of basic courtesy and takes no responsibilities of her words. I truly hope that the relevant departments can take note of this, the elderlies are unable to express their thoughts well. We trust KWSH, please do as "We always professional , always caring"

Very helpful and friendly staff in the TCM dept physician WU HAN JING is the best physician among all of them . She is good and very experience she has a heart of gold and really takes care of all her patient very well. I will definitely recommend anyone who need to visit a physician to come here.Please keep up with the good work!

Dr junie tay is a very experienced young tcm physician .The clinic is easy accessible via boon keng mrt.

It a very good place to get TCM done. Perfect and talented doctors. But for us to make appointment to get to a specific TCM doctor is very hard. It seems that booking for appointments for that particular week, has been done 2 or 3 weeks in advance by patients. Many times I have tried to get appointments for that week but was unsuccessful because they were already been booked by i guess the same patients who visit the same doctor every week. I think this is unfair to all those who wanted to see a specific doctor and cant. My humble suggestion is if TCM staff can accept booking for that particular week be done on that week alone and not advance till 2 to 3 weeks ahead. Thank you.

TCM clinic doctors are open and helpful

Went there to check out the day rehap but the receptionist just bring me to the rehap area. don't bother to give introduction. the whole process took less than 1 mins.

The acupuncture services are dependent on the doctors attending to you. But doctor loh frm hk is one of the few better ones there ! However, i have to highlight the receptionists in that department. Even when my mother called three days in advance to cancel her appointment due to medical purposes, she was reprimanded and barred frm making an appointment by phone, which was ridiculous. Hence, beware of the terrible and rude receptionists at that place.

Was there for pre-employment medical checkup. Company claimed that can just walk in to any Healthway medical clinic but when I visited this branch, the staff said that they usually only accept by appointment. However, I was glad they decided to close one eye for that day & slotted me in without needing to make an appointment. Spent about an hour in the clinic : Urine test + doctor consultation (blood pressure, vision test, draw blood). Not bad a waiting time considering I was a walk in. No x-ray facilities on site so had to hop over to a nearby partner clinic for the chest x-ray. Only suggestion for improvement would be the attitude of the counter staff (Chinese lady) : Her replies were curt & not really welcoming.

Physician Zhang Pei Si is very patient and friendly, she listened to my complain of pains and gave me some advises. Her skill of accupuntion is skillfull.

This is a nursing home for the elderly with traditional chinese medicine clinic open to public.

This hospital was given a new breath of life after its recent renovation. Seems like a good place to volunteer for those who reside nearby. During the short time we were there, we observed that it seems like a great place, particularly for elderly to receive medical treatment. Nurses persona and attitude seems well trained particularly for elderly, in-house patients. Have not try their TCM services though it seems popular with young and old.

Everyone was helpful less that very rude tattooed dark skinned curly hair security who is always using his mobile phone.. does he think he is a gangster?

Good clean airy place. Nice cafe near the entrance. Went there for the TCM but didn’t leave with good experience because the physician I get was a walk in. Can feel that she is half hearted, didn’t show her expertise and I left feeling not treated. Avoid room 3 physician Lai. The good TCM physician seems need to book in advance.

At first I was afraid to come here when I saw photos of the hospital on Google maps, it was very rundown and looked like an old building. When my friends highly recommend acupuncture here, I tried to come to do my acupuncture the first time here. I was surprised to see the hospital is very clean and beautiful. all looks new. i feel better after doing acupuncture, the therapist suggested to come more than once. I am PR and paid for acupuncture $8.40 only. How to go there? From Lavender MRT exit B , take bus no 133. For Acupuncture go to TCM centre , E building.

Physician doctor Seow has excellent bed manners and speaks very good English! Was gentle with his acupuncture n explained to me in detail what the problem may be. I don't have a problem with the receptionists; perhaps switching to Mandarin may help when conversing with them👍but they don't seem rude

I visited 3 times to this clinic. Very time I go nurse always says no doctor. I really don’t understand why ? Or I don’t know whether she lied to me or not ?bcz all of my 3 visit I had flu 😷 so I wait outside and call the reception phone number .

4 May'22, I came to this clinic at about 3pm plus (they closed at 5pm). I walk in wanting to get my employment check up done. They were 3 ladies sitting at the counter, no customer, 1 of the counter lady ask me whether did I made any appointment, I reply "No" then she said, no appointment cannot do. I call on 6/5/22 morning to KWSH branch to arrange for appointment for employment check up, I thought I can get the check up done on the same day but she said the early date is on 11/5/22. I don't know why this branch make things so difficult for customer. I call another branch, they don't need any appointment, just walk in and they get it done for me. This branch really needs to improved their service.
