    Been to this clinic a couple of times. The doctor is patient & listens attentively. It can be a long wait as the doctor sees the patient, order the meds, & does the ART & PCR himself. Each process takes awhile. Maybe they can improve the process & let the nurses do it instead. This could save a lot of time. Since there are 3 nurses at the counter, it’s very unproductive. This time I went for the night session clinic. The nurses or rather clinic assistant are not professional (in photo). I witness the long Hair lady CA raised her voice and scolded a patient. No matter how the CA shld be more empathetic since aunty is already sick. and they could be heard gossiping at the counter about other patients & say the aunty is FON, so unprofessional rude & toxic. It was a rude shock. during registration, they insisted hardcopy of the Ic & they didn’t accept digital IC from SingPass. They were quite insistent on physical IC. The process is outdated & staff was so rude. My family was on HRW & we did a ART at clinic. I requested for the ART kit but they say they don’t give it to patient & were so rude in their reply. (2days ago when I brought my mum to see the same doc/same clinic/diff nurses, they gave my mum’s & mine ART kit). And the evening nurse even argue back say they never give to patient. The process is so inconsistent among the staff themselves. (We needed it as I need to submit a photo to the go.gov.sg for HRW). Why else? How can the staff be so Uncompassionate , the staff spoils the experience.

    I went to see doctor yesterday Sun 13/3/2022 in the morning at 9:30am and the two lady staffs at the counter was not very friendly and polite. A senior lady doesn't know how to use the QR code to scan and the two lady staffs (Both of them middle age) not even teach her how to use and having a very bad attitude. Another lady staff asking me to check my details if is correct and the other side she keep on asking me my IC. I reply to the lady staff, hey...... can you wait for awhile first before i check all my details is correct and i will give it to you. So if happen to see this two lady staffs working and you will know what i am talking. Shouldn't have such a kind of staffs working in a clinic that is not very friendly and helpful.

    The clinic is located along Upper Thomson Road, which makes it accessible. The Clinic also opens from 8:30am to 10pm on weekdays, and 9am - 3pm on weekends, making it convenient especially when you need to visit after office hours, or on weekends. waiting time was extremely long, though. i waited almost 2 hours for the doctor to go through 6 patients. The clinic however was kinda stuffy. The doctor i saw was Dr Lee, who was patient and nice. however, do take note that he tends to go off-tangent. i saw the doctor for breathlessness and constricted throat, he wanted to know about any surgeries i'd done or any other issues i had. but perhaps he wanted to be thorough for a first visit. (this is in comparison to Raffles Medical which only took about an hour) overall a pleasant experience.

    Dr is great. But had to queue for 1.5 hours, constantly getting bumped down by other patients who arrived later. Staff said that only had to clear "a few patients" without mentioning how more there are. Should i have known I have to wait for >1 hour I would have considered other clinics.

    Stood in front of the clinic 10 mins before it opens at 8.30a.m. Done by 9a.m. Was initially kiasu - even book online for 10am session (since so many reviews about horrible wait time). But the whole process was a breeze. First in line. Professional staff, doctor who listens. Excellent meds. Totally not going other clinics again.

    I have been visiting this place for many years. Dr Lee and Dr Chee are both very good doctors who are friendly, patient and detailed. Naturally, there are many patients waiting as they take time to diagnose and prescribe. The reception is adequate like any other busy clinic. No doubt, the wait could be very long but there is now a SMS queuing system so you could go elsewhere while waiting. Overall this is my go-to clinic.

    Dr Chee & Dr Lee have been our family doctors since the clinic first opened in 2000. We appreciate their professionalism and patience in taking care of our health issues all these years. They’re our go-to doctors for any and every medical advice. They’re trustworthy and we’re grateful that they’re our family doctors. The clinic assistants are helpful too. Thank you so much, Dr Chee, Dr Lee & the team @ Horizon Medical Centre.

    Started visiting recently and Dr Gary Chee is one of the most thoughtful and careful GPS I’ve ever encountered. Took efforts to slowly understand medical history and prescribe with care. Counter staff is prompt and effective. There is an SMS queue system which makes the longer wait times bearable.

    Visited clinic on both Monday and Wednesday, I can't relate to the bad reviews this clinic has been getting lately. The registration CA (short hair) was very patient with me although I was in a daze while registering myself on my first visit. Came back 2 days later for blood test same CA registered for me. It's not easy for healthcare workers and she's definitely an angel, especially dealing with patients that are running a fever and can't react as quickly.

    If it is a 2 hours wait dont ask the patient to come back an hour and to wait another 30-45 mins. While the doctor's time is precious, so is my time What is annoying is ur reception asked me to look at queue number, if queue number tells me how much time i need to wait, that is fine, but it doesnt. I could have spent my last hour going to another clinic

    I went to the clinic for my daughter's covid vaccination. After more than one hour waiting time after registration at the reception, they suddenly said my daughter cannot take the vaccination due to her age even though I made a booking though MOM system in advance. In addition, MOM system showed they are dealing with Pyzer but the actual kind of vaccine they use was Sinoparm. It was really time wasting and irritating event. I will never go the clinic again.

    The worst reception ever. I was told to come down without an appointment as there was no queue. When I arrived, I was told to wait for 1 hour. And the lady at the reception was very insistent on collecting 10 cent cash for the mask while registering me, and not doing a good at multitasking. I called another clinic and left. It was a mess.

    Went to this clinic for a mandatory pch swab, doctor swabbed so roughly until my nose was literally bleeding (which might I add, has never happened to me before). Heard him sighing as he was in the toilet before he did the swab. I mean I understand that it might be a long morning for you and that this might be troublesome... but was there really a need for you to take it out on the patient in such a manner? Response: This was done by the younger doctor, not the older gentleman.

    The clinic has two male resident doctors, Dr Gary Chee and Dr Lee Peng Keow. Both of the doctors have been my family doctors for more than ten years. They are both professional and knowledgeable with their duty of work. Besides that, they do really show empathy and take extra care to make sure the patients are well taken of through communications. I hope both doctors and the jolly clinic assistants will continue to serve the community with their expertise and caring attitude.

    Both doctors are good. Careful, detail and give effective medication. My whole family has been visiting this clinic for a long time. The only problem with this place is the long wait. Minimally 1 hour if not more!

    Last week, I had a procedure at Dr. Chee's clinic to remove several skin tags around my eyes and eyelids, including a challenging one at the edge of my eyelid. Despite initial concerns about discomfort, Dr. Chee's skilled use of local anesthesia made the experience surprisingly bearable. His constant attentiveness and commitment to my well-being, evident in his steady hands and meticulous removal of the delicate tag, left no room for error in this high-risk, low-reward procedure. The impressive speed of healing, with no visible scars within a few days, exceeded my expectations. Sincere thanks to Dr. Chee and the welcoming counter staff, Ivy and Jennifer, whose warmth and attentiveness, alongside Dr. Chee's dedicated team, made my clinic experience outstanding.

    Today brought bb to see doctor. He is very patient and friendly. The counter has 2 staffs. I appreciate the one with longer hair (shoulder length). She is attentive even when she is not attending to me directly when I made payment with another staff. She heard my request and provided the syringe I needed with a gentle tone. I felt welcoming. Previously when bb was there, she spilled water on the floor, the same staff says it's ok. It is uncommon nowadays to have pleasant staff. Thank you!

    I was visiting the doctor few days back. Let me tell you after getting loads of negative reviews even I was bit uncomfortable to visit but i thought let's give it a go and it was near to my place. When I entered i was amazed to see. There were very less people and I have done with my check up n everything in 30 mins ( if 30 mins looks like so long. Let me tell you the doctor was so humble and asked me about the problems and he explained about it a bit which was so cool). Indeed they took some time while providing the medicines but i think that's okay. We should respect them too. At the end of the day they are humans and can feel tired too.

    Your clinic really needs improvement in managing queue. Seriously. I’m kind of inclined with previous feedback. The task management among staffs is simply inefficient. I only wanted to take blood test. Per patient, as far as I observed, can take at least 15 mins! PS: it wasn’t crowded. I saw one person and 4 non-moving queue numbers ahead of me.

    Dr Lee is great. However the staff over here is very rude and no professionalism. Honestly they are very passive aggressive and are quite fake. Might as well make a reservation beforehand so you do not have to deal with them.

    First time at this clinic, running a high fever and waited for >3hrs to reach my turn (i was told there were just 5-6 patients ahead of me when I was registering at the counter). Understand that seeing patients take time, but the queue no. had not moved for more than 1.5hr while some patients and I waited outside the clinic. Wondered if the doc had gone for lunch? Would be nice to at least inform patients upfront if it’d take some time, or if the doc has stepped out for awhile? Given that i was running such a high fever, I’d have chosen to visit another clinic nearby to seek medical help. Also, it seems that one of the counter staffs may be new - it’s okay to not know how to process the administrative matters but I think they can be briefed on how to use a ear thermometer? The doc did make up for it though.. was friendly and professional

    I've been a long time patient of this clinic because I trust the 2 doctors and their medicine dispensed are very effective. Waiting time can be rather long, but that's understandable. However, I felt compelled to give this review after my recent encounter with one of the receptionists - I think she's new. I don't know her name but can only identify her as being quite tall and with tattoos. I must say that I felt angered by her incredibly rude, impatient and offensive tone used throughout my interactions with her. When directing me to the queue or waiting area, it felt like I was treated like a thing, as she had ZERO amount of courtesy. Never have I felt like a service staff wanting to pick a fight on the people she interacted with. Please see to this issue.

    I was given very good services and has good impression of the clinic. The front desk staff not only displayed thoughtfulness to her patient, also very helpful with my queries and did not hesitate to render all helps to make my visit pleasant, especially when you are not well. Dr Gary had patiently explained and diagnose my visit despite the big crowd waiting. I would like to give a big thumb up on these excellent services given by Dr Gary and Ms Irene.

    I've had consistently pleasant experiences during my recent visits to the clinic. The doctors and nurses have impressed me with their friendliness, care, and dedication. However, today I encountered a setback during my scheduled ultrasound appointment at Mt Alvernia. I realized that I had forgotten to bring my referral letter, forcing me to reschedule for another appointment and make an additional visit. Fortunately, Ms. Ivy came to my aid by promptly emailing the Mt Alvernia registration CSO on my behalf, which allowed me to proceed with the ultrasound. She even went the extra mile by following up with a call to ensure that everything went smoothly. In addition, I want to express my gratitude for receiving a call from Dr. Chee, who took the time to update me on the status of my lab results. Overall, I deeply appreciate the helpfulness and attentiveness shown by Ms. Ivy, as well as the thoughtful care provided by the clinic's staff.

    Horrible experience, the counter team does not tell you the wait time is about Two hours during registration. The queue management seriously need to be looked at by the management because it was frustrating to see people that I didn’t see during registration were put ahead of me to see the Dr. I had to walk to the counter several times to check how long more. The older counter staff is super rude to people who are not her race, but was extremely nice to an Ang mo women and Chinese people. I certainly sensed that whilst I was there as she refused to look at my face while talking. Each patient takes about 20 mins to see the Dr. If you are very sick, please skip this clinic and don’t expect compassion from the staff.
