The National Dental Centre is located near Outram MRT, within the Singapore General Hospital. I was referred to the centre by the Dental Polyclinic. The dentist and nurses were experienced and knowledgeable, and I was able to ask them any questions I had. The check-in process was smooth and the directions were clear. However, the entire process took quite a long time, and the doctor seemed to be rushing around to different rooms, so some waiting was expected. Overall, I had a good experience at the Dental Centre and was satisfied with the quality of care and service I received.

I am really disappointed that my dentist actually recommended to remove all 4 wisdom teeth as a preventive measure instead of suggesting me to monitor since the risk of pulling teeth out still outweigh the risk of keeping them unless they are causing problems. It is certainly unnecessary especially for my case where there might be chances the wisdom can grow out properly except for the one lying horizontally. He also did not mentioned to me what complications might cause from the 4 wisdom teeth in future. Stupidly, i adhered to his advice in pulling out wisdom teeth that are not causing problems without asking in detailed thinking that it is normal and am experiencing lots of complications till date since DEC 2021. Be sure to get second opinions from other dentists and do lots of research before accepting a surgery whether minor / major for it may affect your life permanently. P.S you can look at my wisdom teeth x-ray through my photos

Seeing bad reviews here and kinda worried how will my first time experience be since I don’t really like a dental visit. I would say throughout my visit from registration to consultation, I did not experience any bad service though. It was good, smooth and fast. The checking & consultation done by Dr Lee Jun Jie was fantastic. Able to rule out what was my problem and I did not need to proceed with my wisdom tooth extraction. He was also patient to answer & explain all my doubts.

Paid $128 for emergency as wisdom tooth was causing face swelling and pain in ear. Was sent home with only mouth wash and ibuprofen. Did not manage to get a surgery date and after calling them about 15 times, they told me that I have to wait till January. Waste of time and money.

The doctors and nurses are very professional and they treat dental issues that the usual dental clinic cant treat, example sensitive gums. It is next door to health promotion board and share the same basement car park. The clinics are spacious and clean and well maintain. There a small coffee kiosk outside health promotion board lobby if you need to have a coffee fix

I have dental appointment on July referred to by Outram Polyclinic due to my painful gum. The staff called me few days before the appointment to postpone it to August as the doctor is on MC, they can't assign a covering doctor. I patiently wait for my appointment in August to arrive. On the appointment day which is today afternoon, I arrived at NDCS about 20 minutes late due to my heavy workload and I can't leave my worksite on time for my dental appointment. I was informed by the counter staff that the doctor refused to see me and even other doctors also refused to see me. I explained to them my reason of being late and yet still got rejected. They suggested to change my appointment to later date which is months away or to see their emergency doctor which is very expensive. I turned down their offer and requested they cancelled my appointment. I see the Outram Polyclinic doctor and she recommended me to see the dentist at the Queenstown Polyclinic as an alternative. I finally understand why this institute scored so low in their review, their doctors are uncaring. I believed this is due to no competition to NDCS. I believed if there is a second public dental institute competing with them, NDCS will definitely improve on their service, else do expect their substandard service imposing on you. Try to avoid visiting them unless there is no alternative.

I have nothing against the dentist and the nurses of NDC as they treat patients politely and professionally. But appointments are something else. I am currently doing my crowning for the past two years n the process is still ongoing. I repeated told them that I am unable to attend the morning sessions as I am working n will lose my day’s wage as the treatment is not covered by MC n yet I always get the appointments in the mornings n have to go through the tedious process of changing it. Not only is the calling time long but the next appointments can take 6 month. A real disappointment.

This was my second wisdom surgery for my lower left tooth. Was going relatively smoothly until there was a “missing bit”. Told me they were going to drill further to find it. This process lasted another 10-15 minutes, where the dentist even consulted another dentist for second opinion. In the end, the missing bit was in the suction… Bad experience with regards to the professionalism of this dentist as she was laughing and joking at the end about it while i went through hell for a piece that was not there? Really wondering what they were drilling/ cracking at to find the piece that caused me that much pain.

Update: latest entering the first phase for not so breezy procedures; surprisingly the Doctor was so skillful n professional that leave me speechless 😶 minimal pain n leaving no details for any imagination. So relief so pleased with the service. I wondered y the reviews are low 🧐. Anyway NDC is our Nations pride where training treatments n latest technologies are exchanged at the Nation’s level with numerous treatments completed accomplished. I’m satisfied I am enrolled successfully for dental treatments referral by the Registrar coming from the Polyclinic level. I have completed 12 appointments over a span of 2 years done up to date for various treatments that can’t be arranged at the polyclinic levels. Some complex ones that I had to endured painful moments. The doctors who attended to me are very kind, attentive n understandably professional 👍🙏. Waiting periods wasn’t prolonged n tolerant at my expectations n experience. The instruments n devices are updated. I will be coming in for subsequent treatments that are concurrently ongoing. Well recommended 👍👍👍

i visited NDCS on 9th March referred by Polyclinic due to a gum pain with a bump (possible infection), i was giving 8am appointment, long wait for doc to get ready and was told to do an x-ray, i told the Doc, i have taken many x-ray at polyclinic previously (4 times to be exact), don't u have it on your system? he says they didn't sent as the system don't have it. i took another round of x-ray, when return to the consultation room, the reply fr Doc is there is no infection. his look and his eyes are like, anymore Question, if not this is THE END of your consultation. I forgot to ask, but He has no intention to explain what causes the gum pain too. to make my visit more worthwhile, i consult him on my another tooth if possible for implant/crowning. his answer is "i will give u another appointment to visit another specialist on this", i asked him aren't you a specialist yourself Doctor? this simple question can be easily answered by neighborhood dentist who aren't a specialist. anyway, i was charged $144.25 for less then 5 mins consultation. my gum still painful until today. i plan to visit neighborhood dentist soon. This place has no CARE, all they care about is their protocol.

Geriatric Special Care Dental Clinic, located at the National Dental Center Singapore (NDCS), level 1, is organised. The messaging is posted on the walls of the corridor - Educate, Research and Community Reach. The spirit of health is well phrased - help patients improve quality of life. Community Reach has been directing to walk its services to everyone in the community, remarkably. Full salute to the team. Thanks Dr Tan today serving my mum with her tooth extraction. Additional note, surprised the past reviews of 2.9, I felt it deserves much higher rating. enjoy and be easy !

Im totally disappointed how I started my root canal in 2020 and it was supposed to complete by Oct 21. Which is one year + before my wedding. Firstly, I got appt on Sep 21 & Oct 21 ( final two sessions ). It was rescheduled to Jan 22 & Feb 14 22. It was then rescheduled to 23 Feb 2022 and then 24th July 2022. So unfaithful day I got covid on 21st July. Then I was rescheduled to 28 Nov 22 and the tooth broke on 31 august 22 and I called in. She say I can change to Feb 2023 and no way I can walk in as I don’t feel pain… she insist is my fault to miss the appt on July 2022 and I mentioned ( I’m not even complaining the amount of rescheduled I’m receiving which drains my leave cause it’s always announced last min ). My wedding coming soon , before the 28 Nov 22 appt… and I supposed to be bogey until then?

Extraction of two lower tooth (fourth row from front tooth) cost $224.70 with no CHAS subsidy. While extraction of wisdom tooth only cost me $100.40 with CHAS subsidy. Extraction of normal tooth(upper row fourth tooth from wisdom tooth) only cost me $51.65 with CHAS subsidy. After complain about why no CHAS subsidy and overcharging a few times, no investigation nor explanation was given. For my effort, I receive warning letter from Accolade Advisory Asia Pte Ltd to paid the bill.

I can't believe the doctor cancelled on us 20min before the appointment this morning! Claims to be on medical leave. The whole dental centre only one doctor??? I've seen many reviews saying their appointments were postponed due to doctors being on MC but didn't think it would happen to me. I took leave and all for the day. How irresponsible of NDC to have no back up plans at all.

My mum was referred to NDC for her oral treatmenr. First, booking appointments here can take almost a year. Finally after more than a year, my mum was scheduled for teeth extraction and fixing her dentures. As her teeth extraction was causing excessive bleeding, the dentist advised her to go home and return after 2-3 days for the dentures fixing. But they didnt give her an appointment and said it will consider a walk-in and therefore asked her to go at 8am to queue. Today at 8am, she went and dentist said they made the WRONG DENTURES and asked her to RETURN AT 4PM. Worse still, they wanted her to walk-in at 4pm to QUEUE AGAIN without giving her an appointment slot. Does everyone in NDC thinks people's time are free?? Who's gonna pay for her transport fare to and fro from another end of Singapore?? They think people no need to work and have a whole day to wait and travel just because of their mistake??

Had the worst customer service ever, called the service hotline to reschedule my appointment as i was not feeling well, lady asked me to wait 2 months to collect my retainers after removing braces? i kept asking her whether shes able to let the dentist know why i was unable to go for the appointment but she kept cutting me off and when i asked her the last time she replied with “they wont pickup my call one” , asked her questions and she just ignored me too, seriously this woman has attitude issues and just not deem fit to work in this customer service industry

Went for an appointment at 8am for my mom's dental check as referred by sgh doctor. Was late for a 15mins because of travelling with a wheelchair-bound 83 year old old lady, who has just discharged from hospital less than 24 hours for bone fracture. The counter staff told us the dentist refused to see my mom as we are late. (We set off at 6.30am from woodlands) The appointment was fixed by SGH upon her discharge. And this dental check have to be done before her followup in a week's time. They can't let us have any dates , and we are not urgent cases. but I told the counter staff that it's difficult for my mom to travel all the way from woodlands again, and the center can't even give us a date prior to the SGH doctor follow up. In a while, they gave us a 2.30pm slot, finally. Didn't even tell us to get another queue number nearer to time. Until I go ask the counter again. Even advised us to go home and return again. So ridiculous. Unacceptable service standard. Thumbs down. Avoid if you can.

I had the most unpleasant experience with this young female dentist who cleaned my teeth. I was merely a tool she was working on. The human touch and empathy was simply not there. At the end of the cleaning she just simply told me it was over and that was it. No other words were exchanged and nothing was explained. She was also very unpleasant & defensive when I asked her for a heads up before she injects me. She would just inject me without letting me know. Sometimes she would remind me before she injects me but most of the times she would just inject without giving due warning. She didn't give sufficient instructions prior to the session. That if I hurt I should raise my hand. When I had to remind her about this she wasn't happy and was very defensive and unpleasant. And she even said I should just raise my left hand even though I told her I was right handed eventually she agreed after I mentioned it a few more times. She's just the dentist from hell, worst one in my entire life. She was just a plain nasty person who probably saw this as a way to earn a living only and didn't show any empathy to her patients. From the fake politeness you can tell she is really poor in attitude and arrogant, unwilling to take genuine feedback positively. She also looked young and I wonder why she was allowed to practice there. It's the National Dental Center and if that's the quality we receive, it's appalling to think about our national standards for dental care. The last dentist at NDC I saw before this was really pleasant and it was a great experience. I think it would be okay if they kinda remove the ones who are downright aweful and just keep the excellent dentists.

Had my braces done by Dr Cheryl and the results for my teeth were amazing! She makes sure that she attend to every details and is really friendly! The staffs assisting everytime were very friendly as well. Overall a pleasant experience with NDC! Had 4 of my wisdom teeth removed at NDC previously too and it was a swift procedure with minimal pain (less the local anesthetia which is normal)

This is the worst dental centre in the world. Third world speed for first world class and cost. I have root canal infection. Visited them and seen by 3 doctors. Cost before subsidy for all the talk is 600 plus before subsidy. The estimated treatment cost is 6000sgd just for the teeth excluded the root canal treatment. Then they asked me wait 3 days for making appointment to a surgery to treat the root and prepare for the teeth socket for implant. They called me in day 5 and ask me to see doctor again to sign the consent form 3 months later. I am in pain with infection and fever, taking Panadol every day to function and here they asked me wait for 3 months to sign the consent form only. Surgery date even has not been discussed at all. I have wasted a week in pain and $$$ for nothing. Decided go to private clinic and it has been done immediately plus the cost is 4500 sgd only. For those who seek dental treatment, just share my experience so u don’t waste yr time and money there at National dental care

It only broke once but that was Becuase I ate a food that was too hard😭( downside is if your braces break u have to wait Almost a week for ur next appt )

TLDR: Smooth and efficient process with friendly staff along the way. Expect a long waiting time from your polyclinic referral to appointment at NDCS, especially if not in an urgent condition. Very smooth and efficient process. Arrived early for my appointment and was able to start my consultation with the dentist even before my time slot. Came with a referral from polyclinic and the dentist kindly explained my condition and told me it was not really of concern. Gave me tips on how to manage my condition and painkillers in case. Staff provided clear instructions at each step, telling you where to go and what to do. Only downside is that this appointment took 5 months to happen since my polyclinic referral date (probably because my condition is not urgent).

I was refer to NDC by my polyclinic dental for periodontal treatment. A full report with X-ray done by the polyclinic dental was given to them during the appointment. Instead of treatment, I was going through the same procedures plus x-ray done by the polyclinic dental and was shockingly charged $200+ for it. (less than $50 was paid for same procedures, x-ray at polyclinic) Treatment was arranged two months later... NO! I AM NOT GOING BACK!

Beside the usual wait times, quite satisfied with the service and quality of care received for my wisdom teeth extraction from start to end (3 visits). Can really see the doctors, nurses, patient service associates trying their best to meet the expectations the many patients they deal with from each visit. Thank you NDC for this pleasant experience!

Think most doctors are kind of stretched given the amount of patients they are seeing everyday. Patients' concerns are addressed if they are valid. Have to self educate, set reasonable expectation and understand the treatment plan to get the most out of it.

Due to childhood phobia, I avoid dentists until absolutely necessary. Yesterday's appointment with Dr. Kelly Clare Wong destroyed my fear. She made sure I was comfortable and assured at every step, and gave me a painless experience for my extraction. Heartfelt thanks to Dr Kelly Clare Wong, and Dr. Lai Juen Bin.

Went for my wisdom teeth surgery today! TLDR; went smoothly and staff were all very professional and friendly, exceeding my expectations ❤️ Got a referral from a polyclinic when I had an inflammation at the lower right wisdom tooth to ncds. After a consultation at ncds, I decided to go for removal of all 4 wisdom teeth under local anaesthesia (LA). I registered at the local anaesthesia operating theatre (LOAT) and was brought inside to remove any accessories (rings, earrings, necklace). Then I had to put on a hair net and shoe covers. There's a waiting area with lockers where you'll be till the surgeon calls for you. The surgeon will explain the procedure and some possible side effects before getting you to sign a form and bringing you to the OT. The assistants will get you ready for the procedure and here comes the fun part. Injections to the gum of the teeth you're removing, some resting time before they cover your eyes and start. PLEASE let them know if you are in great pain at any point. There will be some noise from the tugging of the teeth and sawing/drilling if the teeth is too embedded to be plucked out directly. Once everything is done (I took about 30-40 min), you'll be at the recovery area for monitoring and then you can collect your MC/prescription at the reception before heading down to the pharmacy. Thoughts: - Assistants were very gentle as I was quite nervous and they turned up the volume of the music a little - Surgeon was very professional and described what he was doing every step of the way so I was able to calm down - Get someone to company you as you may be a little dizzy after the procedure - Prepare some soft foods at home (banana, fish) or liquid food (ensure) so you don't have to worry about meals while recovering - Have a light meal before the procedure

Same with other reviews, long waiting time, nothing done on 1st appointment, wait 4 month for next appt, non transparency pricing, inexperienced dr. Charge more than Q&M for an inexperienced dentist. Their NDCS feedback email is useless, pls leave feedback to MOH and SingHealth https://www.singhealth.com.sg/feedback https://www.moh.gov.sg/feedback

Had both lower wisdom teeth removed. I hate dentists but the experience I had at NDC changed everything. I have pretty bad dental trauma due to bad experiences but every dentist I’ve encountered here thru consults, surgery and post surgery visits have been very kind and understanding of my needs and worries. Nobody talked down to me or belittled my fears. They also don’t push / try to scare you as they don’t earn commission I think. They tell you directly and honestly without any exaggeration of what needs to be done, unlike private dentists. The surgery went well under GA. The nurses who cared me after were also extremely nice and caring. The post care was also good with a relatively short wait time despite the many people there. 10/10 experience. Don’t hesitate to make an appt with them.

I used to struggle with an overbite that made it hard to close my mouth comfortably. Thanks to Dr Elaine Tan’s expertise, my overbite was successfully corrected using braces. Dr Tan’s attention to details made the entire experience quick and painless. I’m very pleased with my new smile and I highly recommend her services!

From the nurse that checked me in and check weight to my Anesthestic Pof, to my surgeon, to all the nurses in that ward. You made me feel comfortable, at ease, calm my anxious self down. Surgery was smooth, post surgery was calming and I can sense their empathy and passion. Amazing! Sorry I didnt get their names but Thank you!

To those who are planning to have their wisdom tooth extracted, especially NSFs I urge you not have your wisdom tooth extraction done here. As I write this review I am an NSF whom had both my wisdom tooth extraction appointment canceled then postponed. On early Jan 2020, I emailed NDC for the consultation appointment with my referrer letter, it wasn't until early of Mar 2020 where I got my consultation, and scheduled my wisdom tooth extraction through a phone call. During the consultation the dentist told me if the DOSCON changed to red the surgery would be canceled and if it stayed at orange it would proceed as planned. The nurse initially scheduled the appointment date on mid April & end April, when I requested for earlier dates for the surgery it seemed like she was reluctant in doing so. The nurse told me there was a slot early April, so I requested early & mid April but she gave some vague reasoning that it was not possible since it would take at least 2 weeks to heal from the wisdom extraction surgery. It seemed odd to me since the initial dates that she gave was less than 2 weeks apart, however as the dates are still within my ORD date I was okay with it. A week before the date of my first wisdom tooth extraction surgery, I received a phone call from NDC telling me not to come as the my appointment had been canceled, upon asking the nurse the reason she told me that the dentist reviewed my case and deemed it as not "urgent" therefore they canceled it. Upon further questioning the nursed told me that the dentist are currently reviewing each case one week before the scheduled date, understanding the current situation and still having my second appointment I did not make a big deal about it. On 21 April 2020 I received a SMS informing me that my 2nd surgery date on late April had been postponed to September, way past my ORD date. NDC did not bother in establishing verbal communication through a phone call, asking me if I was in pain unlike the first appointment they canceled, funny enough I was not in pain when they canceled my 1st surgery, however now I'm experiencing pain when I bite with my left side After months of waiting to have the dentist canceled ONE week before the scheduled surgery date, essentially giving me no time to find other alternative place for my wisdom tooth extraction. While my fellow NSF whom are in the same unit as I, still has their wisdom tooth surgery carried out as they went to NUH/KTPH. So after serving the country for 2 years, I'm unable to get my wisdom tooth extracted due to lack of professionalism in their communication and scheduling, they made almost zero effort to squeeze the surgery before my ORD date and I can't rate their dental service because I never got it in the first place. TLDR: Go the NUH or KTPH

Very very bad. First time I was serviced by a fresh grad dentist. That was ok, not a problem. Sent me to have root planing by another dentist. 2nd visit - got the 1st quardrant of root planing done but after that, one of the teeth that was cleaned and with prior fillings started hurting. Not sure whether it was due to the cleaning improperly done, but they said I should do root canal by a separate endo specialist. 3rd visit - I was registered early at the counter and all ready for the root canal. Waited an hour past my appointment time. Then a nurse came to me and said the dentist is busy and I have to reschedule. What? Can't you have told me earlier so I don't have to wait so long for nothing? A few days later they called for follow up. I said that I got my root canal at another place already, but to please schedule root planing appointments to clean up the remaining quardrants. Subsequently the person scheduled both root canal and cleaning for me, 2 appointments, 1 in the morning, another in late afternoon. Do they understand simple instructions? Do they even know they have a problem? Not going to go to this place again. There is zero confidence.

I was at clinic 2 dated 26/10. C1 staff was not friendly and helpful. Never even greet to patient who went up to her for help. I told her I will settle the bills after visit and she just walk away with my queue paper without telling me what she was doing. She went up to C5 for advise and the snr staff told her it ok for me to pay after the visit. I told the staff I can settle now if she is afraid that I will run away without payment. My whole experience with C1 was totally unpleasant. Her service level is not there at all.

I had a wisdom tooth surgery, although the wait was consider long due to the fact of waiting 30 mins, but the surgery process is very professional. I was also not expected that I need to pay on the spot but instead I can pay online, everything is improving compared of the current comments I have read, keep it up, NDCS

Really close by to outram park mrt, I did my consultations and pre-surgery things and x-rays there for 2 years before my oral maximillofacial surgery. The staff there are professional and do their jobs well, but aren't afraid to joke around when they can to make things less tense, which is always welcome when someone is poking around in my mouth. Personally I prefer that to deathly silence, as long as the job gets done. Want to thank Dr. Tan Mei Hui for her amazing work during my surgery and her patience for assuaging me and my family's worries, and Dr. Ng Jing Hao for accomodating my change in schedules and forgetting to wear rubber bands during my braces. Very pleasant and friendly doctors

Very good experience I have with NDCS, from the counter staff , nurses and doctor! I had appointments with Dr Ng Jing Hao, always have great and professional advices. He is very friendly, great conversation when we have to discuss about my teeth. Really make me feel at ease to go through the discussion. Together with the nurse that service me, she is nice and friendly too. Didn't manage to get her name. Keep it up! The counter staff helped me to update my name as I did my deed poll. She is friendly and helpful. Glad to have a great experience with you guys. Visited a few time. Always feel happy after all my appointment. Stay this way yea!☺️👍🏻 Date visiting: 16 August 2023 & 8 September 2023

A safe place where tooth Jesuses exist 🦷👼🏼 Would like to thank Dr. William Koh Teck Yeow, nurse Riana Binte Kha and team for a professional job well done ☘️ of course also to Dr. Nurul Azyan Binte Mohd Sidik 💙 for the referral. All the NDCS counter staff whom I have had an encounter with were efficient and pleasant too If you need to get your molar extracted via day surgery, I’d recommend doing it here 🥳

I would like to compliment NDC for the seamless service, payment was billed directly thru the app so I can run off to my next appointment after. Dr. Wong Jin Lin also did an amazing job with his fillings, they look like part of my real teeth. He was meticulous and took great care of me. He was calm and assuring and I felt like I was safe hands.

National Dental Centre Singapore is a good place for your dentistry needs. As it is public, there would be subsidies given and is relatively cheaper than private establishments. However, the waiting time can be quite long some times so booking an appointment is recommended.

Had a pleasant treatment at NDCS. I was a walk-in patient with a referral from Polyclinic for my toothache. Staff from reception, registration, radiologists, doctor & nurse were all friendly & professional. Compliments to Dr Jody Hong who was very thorough in explaining, competent & with compassion. The procedure went well. Oh, I arrived at 0820 and left at 1030. That wasn’t a long wait but maybe it was due to the covid-19 so not many patients.

The pharmacist I met yesterday didn't ask me if I can swallow pills or not which I could not. I didn't have chance to see if I was given pills as my dad was the one who collected my medicines. Wherever I go to pharmacist, usually the doctor/ pharmacists will ask me which type of medicine I prefer& if I can swallow pills or not. Now I'm having difficulty swallowing it& had to crush the pills which I know it's not recommended to crush pills. During the surgery too..., one doctor Im not sure the name, if there wasn't any senior doctor there, my stictches would not have been secured properly.... I think she was a new doctor. Kudos to that senior surgeon who REMINDED the new surgeon there. Very disappointed with the medicine service there....

I want to give ZERO really. Brought my son for an appointment and got him scheduled for a surgery here. Only to find out minutes from the surgery that it cannot be done here as he is overweight. They had him changed and all before conveying conveniently that they will not proceed with the surgery due to his weight. Totally wiped out the smile from my face. I do understand PROTOCOLS and stuff but to tell us at the very last minute? All this could have been highlighted AND prevented from the FIRST appointment. Total disappointment!

Due to DORSCON Orange level, I'd understand if my dental extraction will be postponed. But if I call and ask if it will be postponed, don't keep changing the dates after it's saying that it won't be.

WORST public dental centre ever. They've changed my appointment twice (the first time for no reason and the second due to the doctor's scheduling conflict). I wasn't planning on coming here if not for my wisdom teeth which were causing discomfort. Ridiculous.

I would like to have a reply that I had appointment with my referral letter for treatment on16.4.2020 but due to CoV 19appointment change to 12.5.20. I had called to your customer service staff this morning n found out that appointment had been cancel without my acknowledgment. I was so shocked . Partly I am having severe pain with my front teeth chip after a fall two weeks ago after discharge from SGH. I don mind to have another appointment for my root canal treatment. But at least must inform me. Your staff is kind enough to inform me to go emergency dental clinic tomorrow morning for my chip front teeth. (Having severe pain) Feeling so upset n kindly inform patient any changes for future appointment.I hope the management need to look into this matter. Thank u. Mdm Chew Ailing [email protected]

The dentist is awesome, using minimum time to extract both my big tooth and minimum pain, supposes to give 5 stars but the payment counter is terribly slow, I drop my number in the wrong box, instead of drop and go I drop into pay at counter and I keep wandering what are the counter staffs doing. 4 lady 1 counter lady put counter close and keep busy at the pc, other 3 counters only 1 counter running with number, other 2 not sure doing what 👎 for the waiting time

i did a walk in appointment and was asked to wait 1-3 hours, being the king person i am, i accepted the wait. But i ended up waiting for the whole afternoon before finally deciding to leave and get called to see the doctor just before i left the lift. I really didn't appreciate the service of the staff as they only tried to get me to see a doctor after waiting for so long.

BAD SERVICE (Bad tooth extraction for Braces) I have read reviews here even before i make an appointment but i thought how bad can a government dental be? Put my faith, met this female orthodontist, friendly but theres something about her/their service that made me feel like i was another regular typical patient to them. The way they speak, their tone. The way they asked you to take a seat or lie down. She gave me options for braces : extraction of 4 teeths, or to just put on braces but teeth will protrude even further or a jaw surgery. Of course i opt for the extraction! I felt that she just lay out options for me without going through details of each side effects. On the day of extraction I was attended by a young man, he was very friendly. However he SIGHED many times (wow how unprofessional) during the extraction as my top molar couldnt be pulled out- bone was too densed. He pulled, twist, and kinda throw the utensils and picked another one and repeat again all this while sighing. Had to tell him that i was tired and to let me sit up. Afterwhich, i then got my rest. I NOW LOST MY SENSE OF SMELL!! Ulcers, canker sores for 1 week!! I wasnt well informed of all these i thought i was in the safe hands. He only mentioned top molar had to do something with sinus before the extraction. With all the pain and excessive bleeding i was given 2 days sick leave and paracetamol! WOW, i was totally in pain I went back to him and requested for a stronger painkiller (he gave me ibuprofen pills) It would be nice if my ortho sit down and WENT THROUGH OF ALL POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS. I no longer feel like doing braces anywhere. Its been 2 weeks since the extraction!

I won't recommend here if you wish to do braces, the queue is super long and it can take hours to see the dentist for 15mins.

Customer service is bad, huge area to improve on. Called them and was told to leave a voicemail and contact information. The system said it would get back to me in 1 working day. Guess what? They didn't, after about 5 workings days even. I had to keep calling them back until someone eventually picked up. Experience isn't good and shows how low they prioritize you. Wasn't very professional

Great service by all the administrative staff at levels 2, 3 and 4. Was my first time down for wisdom tooth extraction and had many questions, which they kindly helped me with. :) From my 3 visits spanning the 3 levels, I observed that all the doctors were busy with their schedules fully packed. Nonetheless, Dr Andrew Tay and his team at level 3 showed utmost care and reassurances during my surgery. Didn't get to thank Dr Tay as he was immediately off to another patient. The pain was minimal and I was back to work the following day as I had hoped. :) My followup at level 2 was a stark contrast. A young doctor ran inconclusive tests and sent me off saying my appointment was scheduled for only 15min! I waited outside and realised her assistant didn't even pass my queue chit to the counter. Had to seek a second opinion at ToaPayoh Polyclinic to allay my concerns. :(

If there were an option for zero stars, my third visit would certainly warrant it: Navigating the maze of confusion around the clinic, I experienced the joy of retracing my steps due to misleading signboards. Ronald, though, managed to be the shining star, a burst of sweetness and efficiency in an otherwise chaotic morning. A lady staff added a touch of kindness while taking my blood pressure. The consultation started promisingly, but the X-ray glitch turned it into a waiting game. Despite a kind gesture of a glucose drink, the waiting area discomfort became unbearable. The lady who handled the drink, although not outright rude, left a distinct impression of impatience. An hour of waiting prompted me to inquire about my forgotten existence. The options presented to resolve the issue seemed incomplete, leaving me in limbo. Firstly, if their system encounters issues within 15-30 minutes, one would expect proactive problem-solving, not radio silence. Secondly, witnessing others breeze through their appointments while I languished in discomfort was an exercise in frustration. The wasted time, sadly, cannot be refunded. And the email mystery – apparently, my digital carrier pigeon never made it within 30 minutes. Their attempt to contact me post-visit, despite my clear fatigue disclaimer, added a humorous touch to an otherwise lackluster experience. In conclusion, if you savor confusion, discomfort, and a hint of digital magic, this clinic is your Wonderland.
