    Despite the shocking reviews here, I had a different experience at the clinic. All staff were courteous, friendly and to the point. To their defence, you really shouldn’t be expecting friendly banter etc as they can be quite overwhelmed during busy periods. Instructions provided were clear and prompt. My only gripe is that the doctor (Dr Andrew Lim) appeared to lack interest in performing his duties - my physical examination was completed with a few auscultations and light touches. Sharps protocol was also not followed during vaccination. If you’re booking online, you can disregard the “doctors selection” because there’s only 1 doctor on duty at a given time.

    (If only there’s no zero star option) Andrew Lim, seems the only doc there, and he behaves absolutely nothing like a professional doctor, but a retired man bouncing legs all the time. No patience listening your case, and discrimination attitude if the patient is requesting interpreter. Lousy receptionist attitude and service, mainly pointed to a short hair staff. Shame for MHC group didn’t bring up attention for all these reviews on Google.

    I called in on Wednesday, 21 June 2023 at 1331 hours to enquire on physiotherapy and orthopaedic services. A Miss Lina, attended to my query and shared that this is only a medical/GP clinic. She could have hung up but instead she took down my relative's details and patiently checked for the nearest MHC-approved specialist centres. So 5 stars for that! Miss Lina could have easily hung up as I was not going to be her patient but she ensured I got the right information before she hung up. Miss Lina's an example of displaying awesome customer service. Thank you for being kind, empathetic and thoughtful.

    I’m not sure why the good lady doctor is not around anymore but The doctor we saw on May 24th 2021 (older man) was very mediocre and dismissive. Didn’t bother to do a proper check or ask questions and quickly jumped to prescribe medication. (He asked 3 times if any allergies) and was more interested on typing on the computer than the patient.

    This is the first time I’ve visited this clinic but will also be my last time. Reached the clinic at 1.30 but doctor only came back around 1.45pm which i believe after his lunch break. My number was called so went to seek his consultation. Throughout the consultation, doctor Andrew Lim did not listen to what I’ve told him and it’s like 1 way communication. When I asked a few questions, he did not response and busy typing on his keyboard. After that, he asked to me wait outside for my medicines. Before I left the room, told him that I’m off today and will need to work over the weekends and due to slip disc relapsed, will need to rest over the weekends. When the nurse called for my name, I was shocked to receive a MC stating today for 1 day. So I told the nurse to speak to the doctor and repeated myself again to say that I’m off today and working over the weekends. Nurse then asked me so you don’t need MC?? Wow anyone with medical knowledge do know that slip disc will needs at least a few days to recover and needs bed rest and with their response and action, I’m totally speechless. Later a guy joined in and asked so what do you need???? Shouldn’t the responsibility fall under the doctor to determine the number of reasonable days for slip disc patient to rest??? Eventually was given 2 days MC and when I asked the nurse what’s the name of the doctor, she remained quiet till I pointed out the name printed on the slip which she then nodded. What’s wrong with this clinic?????

    Had a bad experience whilst going for my medical checkup. The doctor (who is an old guy) was very rude and not understanding before giving the injections. Reception is not initiative enough as well and gave unclear directions on where to proceed.

    Had bad experience after so long never came to this clinic due to covid. Unfriendly front desk staff upon approach the client. The old man Doctor with long hair also not professional during attending the client. Slightly rude the way he answered if ask him Question. Clinic not busy but unsure they rush for what. I’m not sure if the Dr know how to listen to the lung with so fast forward movement.yet to breathe in and out properly but over already. I felt embarrassed and disappointed of their treatment.make you even sick after bees treated like this. Hope can improve and I suggest if it timefor dr to retire better to rest rather than do unnecessary assessment that not related to sickness.

    I think many would expect a certain level of professional courtesy especially so in a respectable and professional setting such as a medical clinic. I honestly had to calm myself down over the last two days. The customer service here is atrocious. I do hope companies planning to engage their services do reconsider for the welfare of their employees. I have been to various clinics around Singapore and overseas even, and by far this has been the worst.

    Went for a pre employment check up. Upon entering was all right, but 1. staff did not verify injections status and wanted to jab me. 2. Dr was old and had no manners @ all! Proceeded to take my BP 6-7 times and I even had to hold the cuff which was super ridiculous. In the end didn't manage to get a reading. 3.After physical examination, and an Xray( another clinic) reception staff asked me to come back to complete BP which exasperated me. Your clinic do not possess any other BP machines? Overall it was an unhappy experience for me. I will let known the company that is hiring me in regards to this silly encounter that I have with this idiotic organisation! :(

    Visited this clinic a few times as it was a company panel clinic. This doctor Dr Andrew Lim (an old guy) is not very welcoming and no empathy to patient. Last time I went for giddiness and stomach cramp. He asked if I had breakfast, I said no, i only had milo because i have no appetite since I have stomach cramp since the day before. He simply said "of course you feel giddy, you never have breakfast" I was upset about his comments. How do I eat when i have stomach cramp?? I will never visit this clinic again though it is company panel clinic. I will give zero star if there is one.

    Went to MHC for my pre-employment medical checkup and had the worst medical healthcare experience ever. Dr Andrew Lim is one of the most unprofessional doctor I have met. As a nurse myself, I treated my patients with care. However, having to experinece such service by another healthcare provider is really disappointing. I hope MHC will review all the comments that have been posted and take action in grooming their staff to become more professional in the future.

    Please boycott this clinic! 1 older lady staff was very RUDE and snobbish! No eye contact, looks irritated all the time and incapable to handle stress! She should just quit! Or even fired! The old doctor is not professional and so does the lady staff. I have been to many places in the world but the MHC medical center novena clinic staffs are the worst arrogant people I have encountered. Too bad that they are still getting paid at this place. Please retire if both of you are not happy with your work!

    Really poor service, the reception staff were impatient and unhelpful. One of the worst experience I had was with the phlebotomist or nurse, who called in my name rudely. She used the largest calibre needle to draw blood, which was completely unnecessary. It hurt a lot. The Dr was alright though.

    Went for an x-ray after a serious arm injury. Heard noting for 4 days. When I called the clinic they told me the doctor is on leave and they don’t know when they will review the x-ray and discuss with me. Really poor level of care - these people do not care about patients health, only about prescribing drugs they don’t need. They tried to push gastric medicine on me when I went in with an injured arm! Tells you what you need to know…

    The receptionist is rude. Another receptionist told me will send the reports to my email address but end up not receiving it. Call back and they say better come and collect. The way she talk was so rude and lazy to entertain me. Then after that try to call but 2 calls didn't pick up. But did ringing. Don't know is purposely don't pick up or what..... Just bad experience with their service

    Not recommended only when you really have no choices. Doctor doesn’t show patience to her patient but highlighting she can’t keep one patient too long in a consultation due to Covid season. I was not here for Covid but other issues. She asked me to to see her next week again. Such as disappointing experience and unprofessional attitude.

    The worst insurance I hv ever used. Can't access nearest clinic without full setup even when I already have a card. MHC AIA not accepted by my GP - other AIA plan is but not MHC.

    One of the absolute worst clinics I’ve ever been to. The female receptionist is not only unhelpful but downright rude when I visited last week. Her tone was extremely unfriendly and her attitude was horrible. Do not go to this clinic - it’s a waste of your money and time

    Was so sick and went to MHC in Novena at 11:40. They told me they are not accepting any more patients. When I look at the people inside the clinic I can see only 4 people. I waited until 12 and there is only 1 person left. Hoping they could push me in the queue they told me why I was waiting and that I should leave and come back at 1:30. They should not put their clinic hours as until 12:30 if they close the queue at 11:30!! Really inconsiderate people in the front desk. I went to another clinic instead and had an amazing service from them. Will never visit this clinic ever again. Worst experience considering I was so dizzy and sick.

    Would like to say thanks to the dedicated staff and doctor @ MHC CLINIC NOVENA . Efficient and friendly. Despite the bad review here , my experience was surprisingly different. My check up was done very smoothly. The staff explain every procedure from the start till end of visit clearly. Thank you :)

    I received very poor service from the staff at MHC Novena. They did not carry out the ECG that was required. I have so much pain in my joints and am a patient of TTSH. So when they called me and asked me to come again I lost faith in them. Before I left last week I did ask them if everything was done and they said that it was all done. This shows that their heart was not on the job. But this afternoon when i went back to do the ECG I had a very different experience. The director Dr. Natalie took the trouble to meet me and apologize. She was extremely kind. After everything was done she got her staff to escort me to the Novena MRT Station just so that I did not need to struggle and find my way back myself. For this I am very grateful. Thank you so much Dr. Natalie, and the kind staff who did the ECG and escorted me to the MRT Stn.

    Old doc asked me why I need mc for nausea, when i can barely even function at work, because I came from work before going to the clinic. Previous young female doctor was better. Last time visiting this clinic. Please retire if you're not happy with your work.

    Bad experience with counter admin staff.. Took my IC for registration and still end up keying and verifying wrong ic number for my claims....wasted my 1 hr time waiting for not able to find my policy in their system.... Admin staff kept Insisting I am not under their programme and she can't find any records.. Of course how to find if it's a wrong detail entered in the first place?? Total waste of my time!!! Please wake up!!!

    Took my 4 year old for a vaccination and she was all smiles. Dr Dheeraj and his team of Nurses were Super attentive and made the whole experience fun and enjoyable for my daughter. She left saying, mama the nurses are so kind, and I want to be a doctor when I grow up and have a clinic just like this. :)

    Came for my executive health check up and was pleasantly surprise by the short waiting time. Counter staff was very helpful and guide me through the steps of my medical check-up. The only down point is there isn’t enough seats when the clinic gets too crowded. Great job to the staff for giving good customer service despite being overwhelmed by the crowd.

    Dr Chua Tien Wie very patient and caring doctor. Minimum medication and excellent prognosis. Very good with kids from 4.5 years onwards. Very friendly and accommodating staff at clinic. Always willing to help and cooperate. Open from Mon to Fri. 8:30am to 12:30 am and 1:30pm to 4 pm. Closed on Sat, Sun and public holiday.

    Doctor is always changing. Seen doctor for giddiness, he didnt give mc. Only realised it when i left. Called the clinic, was asked to go back. But when i reached they went for lunch break. Why cant the staff remind the doctor to give me an mc chit before leaving for break? And why did the staff ask me to walk all the way back knowing that the doctor is going for break?!

    Rude reception staff. I called to book an appointment. The staff just told me dont come already fully book this week. I asked her if I can book an appointment next Monday, she said, "Dont come on Monday very busy". I asked her when can I come, she told me next week afternoon. I told her can I book an appointment, she just told me just come afternoon any day next week. She didnt even bother to book me an appointment. Feels like they dont want people to go to their clinic. I decided not to go there anymore because of her attitude. PLEASE TRAIN YOUR STAFF.

    Had a great experience at MHC. Dr Dheeraj is excellent and was so patient and attentive to my daughter whilst I was getting a vaccination. The reception staff were super friendly and efficient and I had no trouble with waiting time.

    Don't even deserve even 1 star.. maybe i rather give the counter staff the star rather than the old doctor. Came to see due to hand swelling and limited movement over the right arm.. he keep saying he didn't see any difference.. not even touch or check the pain.. just using his eye power... and say unable to determine anything for now... of cos lah cannot determine because never bother to check/or touch where is the pain area... use eyes only mahhhh... unfortunately his eyes not so power because he cannot do anything. Not even offer to prescribe medication or ask if i need MC. To add on, he even ask me to use my right hand which i unable to really extend due to pain to hold the bp cuff that he put on to my left hand.. and when i stop holding the bp cuff as my right arm starts to ache,he still insists for me to hold it. I am questioning where or how he got the cert to become doctor. Or is it it's time for him to retired for good. I think just ask him to resign lah... because i can see he have no empathy at all. I came to the clinic with arm pain. I leave the clinic with arm pain plus heart pain.. He treat me as if i owe the clinic money..Sadly,it was my first and i make sure it will be the last time i will visit that clinic...

    This was my first visit to the Clinic as I was accompanying my relative for a planned check-up. My first impression was positive as the Registration desk nurse was courteous though she was managing lots of people who came for pre-employment checkup. Later the consulting Doctor (Dr Ankita) floored us with her depth of knowlege. She not only quickly higlighted an issue which we ignored, patiently explained how to prevent such recurrence. Will certainly be recommending this Clinic and Dr Ankita for sure Keep up the good care!!!

    The receptionist was extremely rude. She claims they were extremely full when only one other patient was waiting in the clinic. Two consultation rooms and one bloodtaking station was in the clinic. Cannot say for sure if the clinic was in session but the blood taking station was indeed empty. Not only is this clinic lacking in basic courtesy and customer service, it is lacking in integrity as well. For companies who value their employees welfare, do not engage their services.

    I was there this morning early for my medical appointment an hour earlier, which I know it was busy too and my very 1st time.. The 2 counter ladies a Chinese and indian lady at counter 4 were so helpful with their kind assistance not just because they managed to slot me in, but being in service line too, they explained and being courteous not promising anything at all. I also need to mentioned the gentleman who did my ecg and blood test, advising me to control certain of my diet too. Mgmt please give a tap on their back for me, I be more than glad to give a recommendation to your clinic to my peers too. Thanks MHC.

    Probably the worst experience I had with Dr Ankita. Took more than 1 month to submit my pre employment report and they will never ever answer the phone calls. My start date was delayed and even HR was chasing them. Most terrible clinic ever
