I have been to this clinic multiple times 4 years ago and also recently, when our usual PD was not available. Found that this doctor’s style has not changed (which is why I decided to change to other PD and GP). 1. Cold and impersonal. Did not try much to help the kids feel comfortable with being examined or the procedures. 2. Over-prescribes medicine. Prescribes a lot of medicine even for babies under 6 months. I have been to polyclinics and other PDs - they advise that babies are too young to take so much medicine. 3. Always requests us to bring the kids back for a review THE NEXT DAY. How fast is the medicine supposed to take effect? What is the PD checking for when the review is the next day? All these are not explained to us. And obviously when you review the next day, the improvement is not great, so she will ask you to come back for yet another review! No surprises what the final bill looks like if you faithfully follow what she says and bring back for multiple reviews. In our experience with other doctors, they used their expertise to put across advice and possible complications fairly and in an assuring manner. I did not experience this at this clinic.

Visited this clinic monthly since about 6 months ago for the kid's cough and respiratory issues. Found the interaction with the doctor rather pleasant. More importantly, the kid's condition did appear to have improved. They do prescribe a lot of medicine, but you are free to take only what is required (if you still have those at home) to keep the high costs down a bit.

Not too impressed with the clinic. Went in the evening and sure, there was a queue. There was only 1 nurse at the counter who had to do registration, call for the next patient, prescribe medications and call to confirm with insurance companies to see if some stuff are under the coverage. It was a very long wait and the queue was very jumbled up. There was constantly people who were slotted in, making the wait even longer and unpredictable. My son was running a relatively high fever and we were just waiting endlessly. There were seriously quite alot of random numbers slotted in. After I informed the nurse that he has a high fever, it was finally our turn. Post consultation, it was yet another looooong wait to get the medications. The experience was not fantastic as any parent of a sick child would know how "urgent" it is to see the doctor and get the child home to rest. Manpower seems to be a huge issue at the front desk that should be dealt with. Looking at the reviews, I see that likewise other parents were told to come back for a review 2 days later. Similarly, I am unsure why. I would think twice about coming back after today's experience with the slow front desk reception.

Long waiting time (as usual). I will be a bit worried if the doctor see & handle each kid for less than 5 min consultation. Doctor is experienced. Able to prescribe good and right medication for my toddler on skin issue.

TLDR : Wait until vomit blood Dr Heng’s good but the wait is painfully long. The wait is long not because of the long queue, but rather the inefficiency of the processes. Clinic opened at 9am, I was 3rd in queue. Now, it’s 10.15am, And I’ve been waiting for at least 15 mins for medicine and my bill.

I am immensely grateful to Dr Heng for the care and expertise she extended towards my daughter. When my daughter fell ill, I attempted to self-medicate her, hoping it was a passing ailment. However, as days progressed without any improvement, my concern deepened. On the strong recommendation of friends, I decided to consult Dr. Heng. Upon examination, she quickly suspected Kawasaki disease and ordered further tests to confirm her diagnosis. I was taken aback by the seriousness of the situation but felt a sense of assurance under Dr. Heng's knowledgeable care. Her diagnosis was confirmed and additionally, a previously undetected heart issue was discovered. I cannot express enough how thankful I am to Dr. Heng for her accurate and prompt diagnosis. Her professionalism and sharp medical acumen were evident and it made a significant difference in my daughter’s treatment journey. Moreover, I want to extend my appreciation to her nurses, Cindy and Mandy, who were always available to assist with my enquiries. They were supportive and attentive, making a stressful situation more bearable. Together, they form a highly competent and caring team that I would highly recommend to anyone in need of medical attention. Their combined effort reflects a level of medical care and concern that is truly commendable.

Hi I’m trying to contact the clinic now but no staff is answering even though the closing hours is 8.30pm. Bought newborn to the clinic today and was advised to go to outside pharmacy to buy prescribed medicine. When asked how much dosage to administer, staff informed to ask pharmacy. Now pharmacy is asking ask to check with PD directly.

Very warm reception with the nurses! Dr Heng is very attentive and detailed in her observations and when dispensing advice and medication. I’m very very happy over the year with the care given to both my kids!

The two staff at the front desk were the worst I have encountered so far in health care. My wife is a foreigner and their expressions told us they looked down on us. The boss inside did everything so fast that we had tge impression that the sick children were new cars being assembled in a Ford car factory.

Wait time is way too long (more than 2 hrs). Consultation was very fast, not sure if the check up was detailed enough..

All my 3 kids have been with Dr Heng since 2014. My eldest child was initially with another PD, however the waiting time was insanely long. Was recommended to Dr Heng, and decided to give it a try and our experiences have been very positive. She is pleasant and professional, my kids know that Dr Heng is the person to go to when they are sick! 😂 (cos according to my 5 YO, Dr Heng is her BFF. 😅) Both the nurses are also helpful and patient, (tho now having moved under the kids clinic group, the processing time does seem much slower than before. 😕) Would definitely recommend Dr Heng to others!

I am extremely thankful to have crossed paths with Dr. Heng. The exceptional service and genuine care she has provided for my daughter, Farah, since she was just 5 months old have been truly remarkable. I also want to extend my appreciation to her dedicated staffs, Mandy and Cindy, whose helpfulness has contributed to the overall positive experience.

Dr Heng's consultation fees are VERY exorbitant. Her follow up consultation fees are also very pricey. We paid her over $300.00 for a consultation and a follow up visit. Her advice was also contradictory on two occasions we saw her. On the first visit, she told us not to administer medication to my child until the second visit. However, on the first visit, she still dispensed it to us and made us buy it. On the follow up appt a week later, she apparently forgot that she told us not to administer the medication. She told us to keep the medication for future use. Bear in mind, this is a presciption medication and there is obviously no use for my child to use it again.

Very slow and not polite front desk stuff Front desk stuff is very slow. And when replying to questions, impatient. Our kid is waiting for very long and uncomfortable, but they refuse to speed up the processing time. Very sad about this.

Disrupt my whole breastfeeding journey when she ask me to top up formula milk n upon seeing the newborn drank 150ml, didn't advise any further. Years later when I have 2nd child and I want to ensure a smooth breastfeeding journey, I realise a newborn stomach is v small and doesn't require that ridiculous amt! N the weight drop for my son was at a acceptable level, why even ask us to supplement formula milk!!

I was recommended to see Dr Heng by my sister in law and indeed, Dr Heng is a very very good and professional doctor. I have a lot of confidence in her consultation. In short, she is a very confident, attentive and friendly doctor who cares a lot for children. She is always very patient attending to my son and I have upmost trust in her. My son’s condition improved a lot after taking her prescription. Yes, her fee is not cheap but its value for money. Talking about her nurses, Mandy and Cindy, they really impressed me with their tip top service and professionalism. It’s hard to put all into words. Like Dr Heng, they know their work very well, at their finger tip and never failed to disappoint me. Unlike many clinical nurses I encountered, they are the best! And hence, I can’t believe some of the negative comments left in google review. I think perhaps, we just can’t please everyone… I am quite a direct person and i mean my words. No exaggeration. Because I met a lot of nasty clinical nurses, and hence I really appreciate what Mandy and Cindy have done for patients. They are very hardworking, cheerful, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They are so dedicated to their work and will usually explain the prescription very patiently and clearly and even offered me to give them a call whenever I have any queries. Ya, It’s really hard to put into words. All in all, thank you and congratulations to Dr Heng and Kids Clinic for having such valuable assets in Mandy and Cindy!

Dr heng will always asked you to return to her clinic to follow up your kids after few days. I am super uncomfortable at this. Feeling like she is not so truly want to treat our kids. All she wants is to earn money

I visited this establishment seeking guidance for my child's developmental and feeding concerns. However, I was dissatisfied with the experience. Instead of receiving comprehensive advice or medical care, the practitioner provided referral letters for various specialists. I paid a consultation fee of $130 with the expectation of receiving professional guidance and assistance, rather than mere referrals. If I had wanted referrals alone, I would have consulted a general practitioner. Unfortunately, I was not provided with medication or any actionable advice to improve my child's health during the visit. I had to request medication from the front desk, and only then was I given some. Moreover, the cost of the prescribed medicines was surprisingly high. The practitioner's approach appeared to be primarily data entry into their system, followed by an offer of referral letters. This left me feeling that my visit lacked the depth and substance I had anticipated. In light of my experience, I find it difficult to recommend this facility to others seeking comprehensive child care and advice.

I experienced bad service here. The doctor always gives my child antibiotics even though he's not very sick. The staff will be unhappy if you do not buy medicine at the counter and talk in front of customers in Chinese . The thing that surprised me the most was that the bill was very expensive. After looking at the bill, I wanted to faint and never come back.
