If you love your pet please do not bring it there! Dr Tania was very unprofessional and had a terrible attitude. 1. She had a lack of experience and almost misdiagnosed my dog if not for my persistence for a blood test just to confirm that its pancreatitis did not flare up. How can she allow such a mistake to happen? Can you imagine if i heeded her advice that he did not need to take another test to double check if his pancreatitis flared up? Pancreatitis can cause a dog to die if untreated! 2. I wanted to transfer my dog to another clinic as their clinic does not provide 24hrs supervision if i were to check my dog in. She then wanted me to buy an anti inflammatory medication and said that the other branches did not supply it. When i refused to, she gave me an attitude and started to ignore me. 3. After paying, i realised that i was charged injections that i did not ask for. She gave additional 4 injections to my dog when i only asked for a blood test. Total rip off? Also, my dog left the clinic with no bandage or cone so how do i know if he really received the injections? Also, even if he really did shouldnt he be wrapped with bandages at the injection spot? Horrible place and ridiculous pricing. I used to pay 4 digits for an overnight stay and i did not mind as i felt that my dog was in good hands. Now, this place is just hell. Im not over reacting please

Really incompetent vets here. I go there almost every month for my dogs allergies and they never spotted my dogs cancer. He had lost 21% of his body weight and all they did was test him for tick fever, which cost a bomb. Really really would not recommend anyone who cared or loved their pet.

Vets here are great and I've been bringing my cats since 2008. Technicians are equally caring and skilled at their work. Counter staff, on the other hand, isn't the best, which unfortunately takes away from the experience - little bit disorganised and poor bedside manner (tad argumentative as well, but nothing that a firm stance won't resolve). Making appointments and waiting time are quite a headache, which is particularly stressful when your pet is ill or just waiting to get back home. Still, the primary reason I continue to visit is because of the medical care and expertise. The vets really are good.

We brought our dog for an emergency in the middle of the night. The doctor took the time to perform a thorough analysis, including blood test to determine the cause of illness. My dog recovered very quickly after that. It was expensive, but worth it.

It is my first time to this vet clinic and to my surprise the ambience is very nice and conducive for animals. My husband and I as well as our pet dog Bebe See loves it. Not only the place is good and pleasant, Dr Kent, Ms Belle and the staff are very attentive, helpful, professional, efficient as well as friendly, loving and pleasant. You feel comfortable and confident with them. Would greatly recommend this clinic to my friends and relatives. Karen Ng

One of the few veterinary clinics with a 24hr emergency center. Used their clinic for one of my cats recently at 11pm at night. The facilities were clean and relatively new while the staff professional and courteous. The doctor on call took the time to go through all the testst that they were going to carry out and why and what the outcome & treatment options were. The only reason it didn't get a 5 star rating was because it was quite pricey. $160 for a standard consult and it goes up to $214 after midnight (excluding the lab tests and medicine fees) - FYI my bill came to well over $500 for all the tests and medicines prescribed.

Whitley Animal Medical Centre has been bought over and is no longer part of the Mount Pleasant group. Change in management. Previous patient records from Mount Pleasant Whitley have been transferred to the current clinic which has enabled the vets to provide continued service. It continues to have free parking. The premises have been renovated. No more 24H A&E services here. The vets are professional. The counter staff are ok - only one counter staff usually so it takes a while before it is one’s turn. Costs remain on the high end compared to other vets apparently. The current clinic lacks the family vibe of when it was under the previous management. I still bring my pet here because the records are here, the free parking and the vets have met my pet’s medical needs.

The vets and counter staff are very patient and super nice. They explained in detail what was happening, made sure I knew everything before they proceeded. My dog was well taken care of as well! Thank you so much!

Our nine year old S’pore special, Maxine, developed an ear hematoma, a pocket of blood on the ear flap. This was our first visit to Whitley Animal Medical. We couldn’t be more pleased with Dr Kent and his team for his caring, patience and affection in treating Maxine. Their love for the job is evident and exemplified in the way they went about their duties. The course of action and treatment was clearly explained to us every step of the way. You feel comfortable in knowing that your pet is in good hands. The clinic is ideally located in a secluded corner just off the highway. Place has also a nice ambience with lots of greenery and ample parking. Their rates are very reasonable. Special thanks also to his team of Verge, Piya and Rodel.

Inexperienced vet who does not know how to sedate a dog. My dog ended up with bruises on her legs from the vet. Not worth the money spent. Expected better service for the cost incurred but utterly disappointed. Did a test that i did not give consent for and clearly mentioned was already done and got charged for it.
