Although old looking, it is a clean studio with towels, lockers and water coolers. Only two cubicles in the female toilet. Equipment and weights don't look worn out and look like new. Coach was very encouraging and attentive with checking forms. I thoroughly enjoyed myself!

I’ve always joined MOF via ClassPass because I used to travel very often and a package didn’t make sense for me. But each time I go I always enjoy myself and get a challenging workout. The trainers I like best (I’ve only ever joined their classes) are Nisa (strength) and Glen(hydrox). They are both very helpful with posture, always friendly / encouraging and cheering everyone on in class. The gym is centrally located at Telok Ayer wet market, towels, water provided. This is THE gym to join if you work & want to work out in the CBD.

Has to be one of the best spots for a really good sweat! Super high ceilings and very spacious which is such a refreshing change from small and stuffy studios. Love both the Spartan and Bootcamp classes.

If you like a good cardio workout I strongly suggest going here. The bootcamp workout is great and it encapsulates a lot of movements that most other gyms don't do. Lots of space here, so it never feels like there's too many ppl.

Ministry of Fitness has a whopping huge 6,000 ft space and good equipment for functional training - you have space for shuttle run, sled push, agility ladder and circuits; you have Assault Bike, Cardio Row machine, Kettle Bells, Power Bags, Battle Ropes, TRX...and my favourite Tyre! But most importantly, you have super amazing trainers in Jess, William and Faridie - they are patient, knowledgeable and they motivate you in your workout and you will see improvements. Highly recommend their Trampoline Fitness Class (Jess), Military Fitness Bootcamp (Will/Faridie) and Strong by Zumba (Faridie).

amazingly convenient location. great space. comprehensive equipment, towel service and water dispenser. the 3 stars are for these positive aspects. sadly the coach was a let down. incomplete and infuriatingly incompetent introduction to the class, banal and pedestrian coaching that never presented the whats and hows and whys, insipid motivational cues that were cursory and floated passed everyone rather than being directed and landing for each individual. her energy just came across as much rather being somewhere else on a sunday morning.

Next to Amoy Food Centre - take the lift up to level 5 and look for the stairs to go up to level 6. I did the military bootcamp, lots of functional exercises incorporated! Good mix of cardio and strength. Less intimidating than it sounds but a good challenge nonetheless. Tonnes of space which means you don't have to rub shoulders with the person next to you, and you get to do more fun exercises like tyre flips. Beginners, not to worry, variations provided and the instructor will go around to correct your form.

The obstacle course boot camp led by Coach Sean was challenging, draining, and a lot of fun! The environment was welcoming and full of encouragement from Sean and the regular gym goers. Sean prepared a well-balanced workout routine which left me feeling drained but inspired! Definitely recommended for OCR prep, and looking forward to the race in August!
