The place is a dump. Slightly cheaper, 20%, but 40% worse than most clubs. Some employees are nice, and good looking. But their soul has left them. I’m assuming it’s because of the horrendous managment. Whom seem to be blind to what their gym looks like. Apparently rust is not visible to them. The 1970’s era equipment doesn’t hold up as you might think. As can be seen in the photos. Regarding convenience, in the whole place, there is only 1 nasty dirty drinking fountain in the middle of the bathroom in what looks like a closet. This 1 drinking fountain in a huge gym looks like something my dog would drink from (picture attached). I thought it was my lack of ability to find water fountains, but no, the whole gym, literally has only 1. I’ve never seen that. In ask the gyms I’ve been to in the world. China, Phillipines, Indonesia, Brazil, most of Europe. Even in Malabo, they understand that when you work out, you need to drink. But, they have vending machines, with plastic bottles, that are so good for environment. Perhaps managment can give out free plastic straws too. The towels used are older and more ratty than the equipment. The classes are decent, I haven’t done many, but the few I went into are fine. The instructors are good, but their equipment is a bit dated so you can’t really hear the instructor. No big deal. Be careful about being early on Sunday. They are super strict with allowing anyone in. Even though the place is open, people are there, music on, doors open, lights on. They won’t let you in a minute early. I’ve been there at 7:56am on Sunday morning, and they will refuse you. I’m not joking. It’s not like they supervise you on the equipment. Basically, the managment has treated the employees so bad, that they treat the customers worse. Unless you are buying extra personalized stuff. Don’t go here. Spend an extra 30$ a month, and go to just about any other gym. Don’t get rust on the towel, get a drink at a fountain of your choice, Use modern equipment, have a nice lounge etc etc. DON’T GO HERE. The picture of all of us standing outside is 7:58. Not allowed in. No joke.

Have been a true fitness member since 2-3 years ago. Started off with the branch at Suntec before they moved here to Millenia Walk. It’s a great upgrade - in terms of space, lighting, arrangement of equipments and general environment. They have a comprehensive range of classes for you to select from as well - from spin to yoga to other resistance/strength building group classes. Personally only attended a few and they were all superb experiences. Instructors were energetic, fun and knowledgeable! All the training equipment are state-of-the-art I must say. You have everything you need here for all muscle groups - whether you are training for the next marathon, keeping fit or preparing for the bodybuilding competition few months later. They also have dedicated areas for stretching, free weights training. They even have an open space area for some tyre training in fresh air! Millenia Walk is only one of the few TFX gyms outside of Funan and Pacific Plaza. If you are looking to build some specific fitness goals through HIIT or sprints etc., you should check this amazing fitness playground out! Their fitness instructors are really dedicated and professional as well, with very experienced background. I would personally recommend Richard/Jeff. Place is convenient as well. Just located within Millenia Walk. 2mins walk from Promenade MRT. Parking available as well at the basement carpark. Membership rates are very decent and flexible. I do not have experience with the rest like Pure, Fitness First, Virgin, etc. so I cannot compare. But they will recommend a package based on your requirements. Bob will be more than happy to answer to your queries! ;) Overall hygiene is also top-notch. Hand sanitizers are easily found and the area is cleaned thoroughly after each gym session. Kudos to all service personnel for keeping all of us safe!

This is my second review of the True Fitness group. So what is X? Expansive? Yes, the place is huge; Excellent? No, because they don't seem to get it — gym is as much about the equipments and programmes as it is about the facilities and amenities. Many broken lockers barely a month into their opening (my experience back in Sep), broken soap dispensers, bathroom trays added as an after thought, crampy changing room which got expanded recently but dangerously close to the main shared entrance (to male and female showers). And yes, the same sad rag towels, a True Fitness Xignature. One star because Google won't take half a star.

I've been with the gym for about 7 years and decided not to renew my membership due to the overall deteriorating standards of the club. Below are some of my observations: Personal Trainers (2/10) Trainers are always role models for all members and should constantly portray a good image with positive attitude and pristine gym etiquette. But the trainers here are quite the opposite. I've seen trainers throwing and slamming weights during their PT sessions with their clients. Not off-loading and returning the weights to its original location etc. All these serves as very bad influences to the people using the facility. The trainers are often spotted doing their own workouts during peak hours where some popular stations are inadequate for members to use. General Services (1/10) The staffs are generally sloppy and only friendly to a handful if you're friends with them. Customer service is worst when it comes to additional help needed. Seems like their aim is to get you to sign on long term membership and not be bothered with anything thereafter once you're bonded with a contract. Overall experience of the gym is very badly managed and operated. Members (3/10) It's not a bad choice If you're looking for group exercise classes, where the club is generally filled with working moms, dads, retired uncles and aunties with occasionally a few rich expatriate's kids who's trying to buff up, taking selfies / videos for their social medias. The classes' group bonding is exceptionally strong where they are often seen gathered at the stretching or social area, gossiping about some newbies in the class who can't catchup with the pace. If you're a serious gym go-er, this place lacks the vibe and environment that you need. Equipments / Facilities (2.5/10) Very basic gym equipments with limited weight options. You'll be fine if you're a mid-low level, but significantly inadequate if you're looking for something more serious and hardcore. The weights / machines are always badly maintained in rusty, unserviceable and worn-out conditions. Changing room lockers are always faulty and not substantiated. Can you imagine coming out of the showers, wrapped in a towel and realised that your locker won't open? Shower cubicles conditions ain't any better with stinky drainage and faulty taps with unreliable warm water supply. Overall (2.5/10) I've been with the gym for quite some time and felt pretty sad that it has fallen and deteriorated so much. They have constantly changed locations that I'm being forced to visit locations that's already not that convenient to me anymore. Worst still, they've rebranded some of the better locations to 'more premium' outlets where you have to pay more to access. They're on a very aggressive hunt to sell memberships now, promising good rates for long periods if you pay upfront. My advice is not to be tempted by such offers, as you never know what will happen in the near future. Especially if their post membership sale service is almost non existent, It's hard and frustrating for you to make any enquiry should you need further assistance. Always ask for a trial before joining, also try out different time slots during your trial so you have a better understanding of the gym's situation on different days. The scale of Millenia Walk outlet feels very majestic and promising but the overall standards and lack of qualities pales in comparison to a lot of other smaller establishments. Above are purely my personal observations and opinions, hope it provides some truthful insights for those whose keen.

Worse experience ever with True Fitness! Made a trip down to Millenia Walk for a workout at 7.30pm on 7th July and was told by their staff that they ran out of clean towels! Spoken to Aila the Asst Branch Manager and was told that: 1. They do not have enough for the day 2. They do not have reserve towels to meet unforeseen demands 3. They have taken action to request from other branches but to no avail (meaning whole island wide true fitness is poorly managed and not only Millenia Walk) 4. They fail to manage their towel laundry contractors 5. They do not have any solutions for club members 6. They do not have any remedies for club members 7. They do not have any compensation for club members who wasted their trip to the gym The whole experience speaking with the Asst Manager wasn’t pleasant and her attitude was unapologetic. She kept harping on the problem and kept interrupting the conversation. True Fitness senior management please wake up! If there is a zero star rating for this experience I would.

Got a ticket for spin class and went all the way from Joo Koon to Millenia TF only to find out all bikes are taken. There are few empty bikes tat's reserved with towels or bottles. Class is starting and still no sight of anyone. The instructor pull a bike from the sides tat stores unused bikes and asked me to use tat. Thanks but no thanks. Someone in the class definitely has no ticket but doing the class. 1. Why bother to book if the ticket is USELESS. 2. Why bother to book if no one is checking the ticket. 3. Why bother to book if u can enter the class without ticket. SO WHAT IS THE BOOKING SYSTEM FOR? 1..if u booked and do not attend the class, it will be a No-Show. 2. 3x No-Show and u'll be banned from booking class for 1 week or pay $25 So, should TF charge their branch for members who have tickets but no spot for the class? The branch is not doing their duty to ensure that anyone who enter the class MUST HAVE A VALID TICKET.

TFX at millennia walk (it's not at suntec anymore) is being managed more and more poorly. From bad gym slot booking arrangements to now charging $16 for using the body composition analysis machine (which used to be free and without which you can't track your body's progress), management decisions are sprung upon members without general announcements, without transparency, and without consultation. You end up feeling cheated because you signed up for a certain package deal for 1 year or 2, but they unilaterally keep changing T&Cs every couple of months. Members' feedback is via email which is never replied to, so you might as well be shouting down a dark well.

Horrible customer service during covid which continued for many months even not covid related. Then they make a lot of mistakes with regards to charges on your card then try to double charge you even after showing proof you already paid. Save yourself the headache and go to any other gym. For such a large company their business practices are well below average.

The manager/salesperson on site has a really bad attitude and doesn’t want to serve his customers. I am a member with all access to the outlets. I tried to introduce my friend to the TFX outlet in a trial session and he insisted my friend have to pay $40 for one day pass. This doesn’t make any sense because any non-member customer who didn’t try the experience before should be able to have a free trial when they first visit True Fitness. When I brought my another friend to HarbourFront outlet, they treat him as any other normal customer and give him one time free trial. The manager here insisted it’s a different procedure and was not friendly at all. I just don’t get it. I will not renew my membership and definitely will not recommend any other friends. Btw, the front desk staff was friendly. All I want to blame is the manager.

Instructor for wheel yoga class at 4.45pm on Sat, 6 Jan 2024, was extremely unprofessional and had an attitude problem. Demonstrated a complicated stance once and twice and expect everyone to follow perfectly. Gave sarcastic and unhelpful remarks like ‘NO,NO.. This is WRONG’ without bothering to correct/advise the given stance. When asked to demonstrate again, she sarcastically said ‘This time OPEN YOUR EYES BIG BIG’. What kind of an attitude is this?? Totally unprofessional. Pls avoid said class.

By far the best gym I've ever been in Singapore. The equipments are well arranged. Didn't join any classes but by the look at it, all are quite awesome. The energy level is high in each classes. Read quite a lot of 1 star comments, mostly are about the sales and marketing personnel. The facilities are really good, you have VIP locker room (if you are a lifetime member), VIP lounge with massage chairs, sofa and coffee machines… all are FOC. OK, maybe already paid for… haha. Understand that it might get crowded during peak hours… but all the gyms are crowded during peak hours. If you want an empty gym, try Friday late evening and early hours on Sunday. Happy gyming~

Receptionist is beyond rude. Demanded for towel back when leaving the premises like we had intention to steal. There is a way to ask for the towel back tactfully.. especially when post-workout the customer might be exhausted and just forgot. I’m disappointed.

One of the most ridiculous and pathetic services if anyone wants to experience then please join True group! Entire staff even working for same group but each of them will pretend to have different opinions and different answers to same question and on top sweet coated sugar lies when you sign up but when it comes to leave the place then will make you feel like you're imprisoned for some crime to join them! Complaint on many issues from rustic gym equipments and other part of cleaning at the centre will never be their priority no matter a member get infected from rustic tools etc. Only time you'll be taken care of is before the sign up ... After the sign up for bless on your own .. no one will bother to listen you .. like you own them for life. But instead they forget for the money we pay .. they own us a better services too. Beware of manager Khai .. one of the most ridiculous manager I have even dealt in life .. don't know how people even reach that level if can't manage the staff and can't perform properly on their role~so good at speaking sugar coated lies! In a nutshell: SIGN UP AT YOUR OWN HIGH RISK!

Facilities are quite bad and the gym lacks things as basic as a water cooler - there are only a few across the huge space. The lockers were rather run down and using them is a pain since most are locked already. Some of the staff have an attitude problem - the ladies are nice but one slightly plump guy seems to act as though you owe him money.

Extremely rude service staff. They are virtually uncontactable if you want to complain about something. Email to them and no one will reply you. Call them and they insist you write in. (but they will not reply you). COVID lockdowns, they have differential treatment to customers. Some customers will be allowed the extension of membership because of lockdown, but others, they will not allow and you will be paying even without using the facility. Facility is not clean. Toilet has pee smell. Totally not a customer centric gym. Please avoid!

I have been a True Fitness member since 2014 and a regular Millenia Walk branch gym goer. Throughout my time there, I have enjoyed working out as the branch is spacious and well-equipped, and the service team has been welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, here I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my interaction with one of the personal trainers based at the branch. On the evening of 8th May 2023, I was using the leg press machine and after my second working set, I was told by a personal trainer that I was making a loud noise when re-racking the machine. Based on his appearance (bald crew-cut hair) and Chinese accent, I can only assume he is from China. Having used the machine for several years, I have never been told that I was making loud noises as I do not jerk or slam the weights on the machine. However, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and acknowledged his comment before proceeding to my third working set, whereby I increased the weight. Upon finishing my set, this is where he came up to me and commented sarcastically that I should reduce the weight as I was making a loud noise when re-racking. At this point, I told him that I was not slamming the weights. He repeated his sarcastic comment again, and this is where I pointed out that other people were slamming their weights during their deadlift and he was not reprimanding them. He replied that loud noises coming from the deadlift are acceptable as the weights were slammed on the ground while the 'loud noise' I made was from the leg press machine. This does not make sense at all and is totally illogical. When doing my final set on the leg press, I requested some of my gym acquaintances and friends to evaluate the noise I was making during my set. They all concluded that I performed the set without slamming the weights and causing loud noise when re-racking the machine. As such, I do not understand the comments and retorts that this personal trainer made and find them unreasonable. On top of that, on several past occasions, while mingling with his gym acquaintances, he did not even comment or ask them not to slam the weights while deadlifting. This is the epitome of hypocrisy as he deemed me making a 'loud noise' while his gym acquaintances were slamming the weights down on the ground, causing disturbances and noises that were way louder. As a client-facing representative of the True Fitness brand, he has displayed impoliteness and a lack of courtesy while communicating with a customer. I would appreciate it if management noted this and took the necessary actions to fix these behaviours.

Would like to give compliments to one of the group fitness instructor, Shaye. I always look forward to attending her Millenia Walk BodyCombat classes on every Tues and Wed. Unlike my bad experiences with some instructors at other clubs, Shaye is very motivating. She is also very observant and sharp in the sense that she knows when to push and challenge her members when they are on form that day. Likewise, she knows when not to when she sees her members feeling tired that day. She is also very engaging! She always make sure that we get our techniques right to avoid us from getting injured. She is also a very down to earth instructor and always strive to deliver the best BC experience to us! This explains why her classes are always full and sometimes it’s difficult to book. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her class (tho this might mean that more members will fight for her slots with me 😅). I have also been to her Shbam classes. It was also through her I was introduced and started enjoying this program! I hope she will have her own permanent Shbam classes!

Am transforming myself steadily with better fitness/strength with instructor-EDI since March 2022 EDI has been very attentive and experience in Gym/fitness training as well as Pilates classes that I have attended on weekly basis. I definitely get the best out of my gym sessions for my Paintball fitness workout here. True Fitness at Millenia Walk is my favourite gym. It is huge, spacious, has plenty of equipment and machines, and all sorts of classes. The chill zone always have seats and allow me to chill there. The staff are friendly. Showers are clean, modern and plenty to go around. Yet this gym is not the priciest one out there. May not be the most atas but soars ahead when it comes to value for money.

Equipment and Facility size is very good. This club is better than other True Fitness centers that I have gone so far. They don't provide you clothes like Fitness First do... though their membership fee is cheaper than FitnessFirst.

I have been a True Fitness member since 2012. Standards have steadily slipped since then with the closure of outlets like suntec and chevron house with much fewer outlets opened as replacements. The equipment has also steadily come to be in disrepair, and it takes months (literally months!!) for the gym to repair damaged gym equipment or even water coolers. The last straw is that the gym has now decided to even cut down on the number of towels issued (from 2 to 1). How is anyone going to use 1 towel for both exercise and shower? This is especially worse in the pandemic era. Most gymmers now use the gym equipment without a towel, as they want to keep a clean towel for showering, which is unhygienic to say the least. Please don't use "being environmentally friendly" as an excuse for your cost cutting! Have some common sense, please!

I've never been compelled to leave a Google review before, but my experience at True Fitness Gym has been nothing short of a nightmare. The classes here are just average, and you can find better options elsewhere. But the main issue here is the staff. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I echo the sentiments of countless other reviewers who have described the True Fitness staff as rude, pushy, and completely incompetent. They seem to be trained in the art of high-pressure sales tactics, and they won't take 'no' for an answer (Was hardsold by a person called Sri and her manager whose name I cannot remember). It's as if they're more interested in squeezing every last dollar out of you than in providing a positive fitness experience. My interaction with them reached a boiling point when I attempted to terminate my membership. Calling the gym for assistance was a nightmare. The staff member on the other end of the line was extremely rude. They talked over me repeatedly, not letting me explain my situation or concerns. It was clear that they had zero interest in helping me and were only interested in keeping me locked into my membership. Eventually I managed to terminate my membership. but True Fitness Gym is a true disappointment
