The studio is easy to find, I saw someone wrote a review on here that it's hard to find. There's this thing called directory board provided by the building that shows all the businesses in that building and says right there that it's in the basement level. The studio is really nice. Clean and easy to get around in. They do provide amenities, towels, shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The classes are fun and instructors are super nice and energetic so it keeps us on our toes! Keep it up!!

A great studio run by one of the most beautiful couples I've seen! :) I've been to quite a few studios (HIIT/spin etc) but Boom is the one that I'd recommend especially to beginners. Many other studios in Singapore are awesome too but Boom is the most chill, no-frills, and "go-at-your-own-pace" place I've been to. Everyone feels welcome regardless of their physical abilities. The calm atmosphere of the studio and the staff's cheery attitude really helps with that. Despite its popularity I'm awed at how Boom manages to make the experience very personal - when you're in class, the instructors will try to remember your name as much as possible and the staff responds to your IG DMs personally as well. Just a very homey studio in general. Not to mention the workouts will leave you sweating and panting like MAD. Keep it up!

Honestly if I can give 0 stars, I would do it Disappointing when you don't feel welcome here and I had a poor service by one of the staffs I don't wish to come here again, I don't recommend this place unless you want to feel unwelcomed and misunderstood!

One of my favourite boutique gyms, Boom at Cecil offers BoxHIIT which is an intense 45 mins workout sure to get your heart pumping. The trainers are all full of energy and super encouraging and you can tell they really love what they're doing. There are many regulars there but if you're a beginner, the trainers make sure to teach you the basics and check in on you. Classes are really popular. Female showers are a little bit too cramped especially as most of the students working out are female.

I was in Singapore visiting here for classes abroad. I was a D1 athlete in college in America, and I wanted to find a gym that was unique and really pushed me to my limits. I tried Bryan's class and immediately found it to be a great fit. I have limited boxing skill, but he really helped me develop appropriate technique for the workout while I also was able to still utilize weights. It really felt like a complete workout maximizing strength and cardio. Furthermore, while it was a full class of people, I really felt I received personal attention throughout my workout. He was a great instructor and the routines were fun. I could really feel his workout at the end but time passed quickly during it. Bryan’s wife Victoria is fantastic as well! They are really a perfect workout combination, and I haven’t found a better gym in Singapore. The staff is fantastic too! It’s super easy to sign up and get in and out during a busy day. I highly recommend BoOm!

didn’t like boxing when i tried it out previously, but i wanted to check out what the hype of boOm Singapore was all about & i haven’t looked back since! Bryan & Victoria are one of the nicest instructors i’ve met - they’re so passionate about what they do and they’ve put together a really lovely and welcoming space. each 45 min session has a good mix of strength and cardio, best part is that you have your own equipment right to you, so you don’t have to share/move back and forth. even better, you get to set your own intensity! instructors move around during class to motivate and correct your form, so no worries if you’re a newbie starting out - boOm has you covered!

I always wanted to try aqua bag boxing and this gym is what first into my mind, but unfortunately they blocked me, although I never do anything wrong to them, I never insulted them or their instructors... Can you imagine how it feels to be misunderstood? And then they block you from their Instagram page I email them twice to unblock me, I ask them what have I done wrong, but they didn't reply back With their misunderstanding attitude, I'm greatly disappointed and not going to recommend this gym, I would rather go to other aqua bag boxing gyms where I'm more welcomed and not being misunderstood

I rushed all the way here in a taxi for my class and was denied entry because I’m late. This is my 4th and last class and I had to forgo the class. Receptionist just repeatedly said she is so sorry for more than 10 times. Totally inflexible and I would not recommend joining them unless you have a job that is super relaxed and no last minute crisis to manage. It just left a bad feeling & impression. Staff was not understanding at all and this is just a waste of time and money. There are many other boxing classes in Singapore that are much more understanding and accommodating. I’ll never sign up for classes here again.

Heard so many good things about the studio before I came to try out, but it did not live up to the hype at all. Workout was completely underwhelming and there was no space to move around the bags and you are expected to box within a confined space. Not impressed.

Been on Boom for almost 2 years? Love the classes, it has been a while since The long Hiatus from circuit breaker. Thumbs up on the studio’s social distancing measures.

BoOm is different from other boxing places I've been to. Their class design focused more in strength training first rather than cardio. They have a mini projector projecting on what sets/reps we are to do so it's easier for new comers in the class. You won't get lost or forget what to do throughout the session. Class is tiring but definitely a great one to push myself further and be stronger!

Had my first class today (boomcamp with Sam). I've always been reluctant to go for classes. Afraid that the instructor would push me too hard (haven't exercised in ages) but he encouraged going at our own pace. Great class and will be back!

Was visiting here for a wedding and wanted a workout after eating all the tasty hawker stand foods. Took Bryan's class. He was a great instructor, with so much energy. He takes you through some basic movements but adds some slight variations that make it a challenging but fun workout. The staff was so inviting and nice. Would definitely come back next time in I'm SG!

I had the chance to attend a Boombox Class at BoOm Singapore through Class Pass and am blown away by the interior design of the studio! The class was also really intense too. Will definitely return for more classes and fingers crossed i hope to book another BoomBox Class through Class pass with them! :)

Thoroughly enjoyed the session with Enqi who has been very patient and very willing to teach. Asked her for some tips on boxing for beginners, and she jumped right into a few foundational moves to work on. She is also very observant on how the students approach their boxing in terms of stances and movement. Overall, a very satisfying session! Will definitely recommend people to join!

Visited this place close towards the end of last year. Though i have been doing HITT workouts at a very well known fitness centre, this is way diffferent from what i experience. Boombox and Boomcamp really gave me a challenge with their unpredictable range/ combination of workouts which provides good full body workout. The workouts are mostly spilt even between cardio and strength which i feel is a well balance workout. Facilities and training equipments are good especially the boxing wrap which i bought from the studio. On a side note, never underestimate the assault bike as it really workout both arms and leg. However, i really do wish that the Boombox classes at Cecil street has a water dispenser to fill up our water bottles after an intense workout.

Love love the classes and everyone in the studio. They make you feel like it's your home studio but they make you work hard. Founder Bryan and Victoria are amazing instructors and they really care about their every member. I won't want to box anywhere else after I have been to them!

I hadn’t been exercising since I left school because I just hate working out, and I couldn’t find any class I’d actually look forward to until boOm. Kudos to the Instructors at boOm for making every class so fun yet effective; each round is tough but they change things up so quickly that you don’t realise how much you’ve accomplished til the class is over. Can’t wait for my next class!

A great overall workout and workout experience! It's a well-run studio and each instructor I've trained under has been experienced, motivated and encouraging. The 45-minute BoomBox (a mix of bag work, kettlebell and dumbbell exercises and bodyweight exercises) class flies by - despite how challenging each session is. I would highly recommend BoOm, it's also a lot of fun. Look forward to trying their Circuit and BoomCamp classes next.

Been there, done it! What can I say ? It’s one of the best fitness studio and the greatest way to experience full body workout. The Instructors and front desk are amazing people and you can just feel it the moment you enter into boOm! Great vibe, great service, BEST WORKOUT! Thank you boOm!

I’ve been going to BoOm since it opened and I have not regreted it one bit. The staff never fail to make us feel welcomed and the instructors always push us to do our best and make the class an amazing one!

initially was hesitant about going to boom for boxing and boom camp, I did Hiit before but I felt that boom would be very intensive for me. today attended the BoomCamp and I enjoyed myself as it wasn't that intimidating as I thought. the instructor put me at ease and the class was organised. Next, I hope to gather courage for the boxing class.

I like it! I did the BoomBox. The punches were indicated in the screen, in case anyone forget. Furthermore, we were not asked to wear gloves to do floor exercise which another boxing class which I went, did, and I hurt my wrist.

The staff are really in tune with what you need! I was really struggling and the instructor, Bryan, was the right amount of encouraging while keeping me to my form. Great. Workout.

signed up for the daybreak class pack when i was back in singapore for a month-long visit. was not disappointed: no better way to start the day with a good workout! the workout is broken up into 10 parts of about 3 min each, mixing up boxing sets with high intensity exercises. i like that each set can be as easy or as difficult as you want it, making it both accessible to newcomers and challenging for regulars. my favorite set is the last one, where you basically get to punch the punching bag however you like :) instructors were super upbeat and encouraging, and the music playlists were curated to match the exercises well. would definitely sign up for another package when i'm back again!

This is my favorite studio in Singapore: Very friendly and competent staff, clean and beautifully designed facilities, always a great workout that never gets boring, and energetic and attentive instructors who are always very encouraging.

Amazing instructors - it's definitely a tough work out but they emphasize safety and challenge by choice. Had a really fun time and almost forgot I was working out!

Ever wondered what it's like to punch a bag, followed by consecutive sets of squats, lunges, planks and crunches? That's the experience I found at boOm, as I was traveling through Singapore. Having never punched anything before, I was glad the staff were patient and friendly, helping me get setup prior to the class. The facility is eye candy - modern, clean, and accented with fun artwork and soft, colourful gradients. The studio itself, where the class is held, sets just the right kind of lighting and music to get you pumped for the session. The instructor, Bryan, was enthusiastic, and took time to go around the class to help with form. As a powerlifter, I usually shy away from cardio and HIIT, however, this blend of boxing and HIIT training is indeed a workout, and if you have never punched anything in your life, you will find that each successive punch at the bag brings you a special kind of "adrenalic" high. In fact, I got a pair of their boOm wraps and gloves as a souvenir, and use them now for my own boxing sessions. The gloves are high quality, comfortable and do a great job protecting my hands --- and the bag. Thanks for a good time, boOm. 10/10 would do again!

I had the opportunity to visit BoOm when I was visiting Singapore on vacation and had a total blast!! I wish we had a workout class like this in San Francisco. It was really accessible for a first time boxer, and an incredible workout. Also - the space is just so cute!

Been going for Boom for almost a year now, they definitely deserve more than 5 stars! The classes are tough (you decide how much you wanna push), yet crazy fun at the same time. Absolutely love how genuine the entire crew is. Highly recommend to try out, especially if you're on holiday in Singapore and wanna get a fitness fix!
