Lakeside MRT station (EW26) is an above-ground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the East West Line in Jurong West, Singapore. This station is built on the northwestern bank of the Jurong Lake, hence its name. Lakeside station provides MRT access to residents living in Taman Jurong and Hong Kah. It is currently one of the three stations that serve Jurong West New Town; the other two being Boon Lay MRT station and Pioneer MRT station

One of the few mrt station with splendid natural greenery!

I quite like the station because it is near to a lot of condos. The station is ok,there are some stores there but it is a little dirty. The station has a park/ big empty field nearby so maybe you can walk with your dog there, maybe and there are also a lot of buses there.

New bus stop on the way...very excited...however,not happy with the way workers are maintaining safe distancing measures...I took this picture after reminding the person( worker ) to wear his mask as he was sneezing continously and not wearing a mask...I urge everybody to be responsible..dont want another circuit breaker...god bless us all

Station is quite small but near there has good park for all people.

The MRT station I use everyday. Generally good. At this station, you can find Guardian Pharmacy, Cheers, Mr Bean, a Bakery shop, clinic and a stall selling Chinese cooked food and refreshments. Do check out the Jurong Lake Park if you are nearby.

Quite a crowded station. Has 7 eleven, guardian, subway and Mr bean. Not forgetting some food shops.

Lakeside station is very nice as there are beautiful sceneries up there. It is also relatively less noisy, and I get to spend a better time there. Close to guardian, a bakery, 7 eleven, and Mr. Bean, there are no other stations which can compare to Lakeside's stalls down below. It is just that the toilet is too filthy and smelly.

Peak hour -AM -escalator operates very slow.. always long q. Take a lift is faster than taking escalator. Other mrt stations the escalator moves so much faster during peak hours

Crowed MRT Station. I visited Jurong Lake Park via this station as Chinese garden was closed. There are some stores and food stall around the station, good point!

One of the Singapore’s MRT station serving green line. Very accessible to nearby park and Jurong lake as well. Some shops also located inside the station like guarding pharmacy, bakery etc. Lakeside is a very beautiful residential area almost surrounded by the condos.
