The views from the Sky Walk, especially on a bright, sunny day, are breathtaking. You can see most of the parts of Sentosa and a get a good view of Fort Siloso. It is quite windy here so make sure to secure your hat/cap if you are wearing one.

Not many things in Sentosa island is free. This is one of them which deserves a mention as it is a fun activity. We ascend in a lift to the top of the hill. We visited in the evening so there was a slight breeze which made the walk pleasant. If it was a hot afternoon, I would be walking briskly to avoid the sun. We took the tram which is fun for the kids.

Great views when you get to the walk, but a bit of a trek to get there. Fort Siloso is worth the visit, and best to do a little research on the fort before you go to maximise the benefit. Quite a few steps to see it all, so bear that in mind if mobility is an issue.

Fort Siloso is Singapore's only well-preserved coastal fort that served as part of the country's defences. The on-site military museum contains a treasure trove of WWII memorabilia, including coastal guns, the remains of fortified military structures and tunnels, as well as an interactive video documentary, complete with wax figures of Japanese & British soldiers at the Surrender Chambers. The word “siloso" is actually derived from a Malayan word meaning "rock". Towering 11-storeys high and stretching 181 meters long, the Skywalk trail provides guests with a scenic treetop trek on the way to Fort Siloso. A free attraction, there’s also guided tours at Fort Siloso for a more detailed historical account of the area.

Wonderful view from the Fort Siloso Sky Walk! The walk to Fort Siloso was great. Beautiful flora and fauna as you walk the grounds. With simulations and sounds effects throughout the walk, makes the walk exciting. One can scan and listen to narration throughout the walk on the bridge. It’s free!!! Hence I will highly recommend especially if you like history.

A breathtaking and enchanting beauty. It has a beautiful view and the infrastructure is amazing as well. However, I must say that the maintenance works have created a huge nuisance. The lift is spoilt and we can only either climb the stairs (which is 11 floors) or take a shuttle bus (which drops near the museum and you have to walk uphill from there). I just think that you guys could have improvised the situation by implementing a better method for this problem. Overall, I enjoyed it but please find a better solution for the problem.

Ok important thing must say 3 times, this place is free, this place is free, this place is free! One of the very few places on Sentosa Island we can go in for free, and free doesn't mean sub standard or low class or cheapo to go in. The view from up here is magnificent, and is definitely well built. End of the sky walk the Fort Siloso is a great place to learn more about SG history during WW2, and a great place to bring your love ones for a slow walk in the whole area.

Not exactly the tallest tower but still worth a trip up to see the view and also to explore Fort Siloso. The guys there were really super helpful, friendly and attentive. I brought my 83 yr-old mum and they immediately pull out a chair for her to rest after I dropped her off at the entrance and went to park my car. Well done guys! U all really made my mum feel like a VIP! :)

We went there early on Thursday school holiday and almost no crowd at all. We entered from the Fort itself and walk towards the entrance. A short distance of walk but quite fun as you can see quite far on the surrounding.

This is a great spot to get a little exercise (especially by taking the stairs and not the elevator) and to enjoy scenic views of Sentosa and southern Singapore. It’s free of charge and I never really get tired of the view. From here, you can visit Fort Siloso and learn a bit of WWII history.

After leaving Market Hall Sentosa, we headed over to Fort Siloso Skywalk for a stroll. The Fort Siloso tunnels close at 8pm while the Surrender Chambers close at 5:30pm. Thankfully, the Fort Siloso Skywalk only closes at 8pm. This time, we were able to enjoy the night views over the Singapore night skies… It was a windy evening where we had a relaxing stroll down Fort Siloso Skywalk, enjoying the city lights and views over Market Hall Sentosa from above. After strolling for about 15 minutes, we headed back to take the tram to go back (intervals of 15 minutes). After breakfast the next day, we headed out to Siloso Beach to enjoy the sun and waddle in the waters. This morning, we revisited Fort Siloso Skywalk for the day views… The views from Fort Siloso Skywalk is just as beautiful on a bright and sunny morning. We were able to see clearly out to sea as well as the city this morning. Continuing on the Fort Siloso Skywalk, we headed to Fort Siloso itself… For more details, visit 2bearbear today!

Free admission to Fort Siloso Skywalk is via 2 lifts located a short walking distance from Siloso Point bus shuttle station. The Skywalk provides nice elevated views of the Harbourfront developments on the mainland as well as the cable car towers and moving cable cars, Siloso Beach and the ships anchored off the coast of Singapore. The Skywalk leads to Fort Siloso.

The best place to start if you want to visit the heritage site - Fort Siloso. Taking the lift up takes you to a whole new view of the area surrounding Fort Siloso. Don’t miss it and take a nice walk to Fort Siloso from the sky walk.

Supper great view! The High-level metal pathway can be accessed by elevator, with views of an historic fort & Singapore city. The elevator was under maintenance until September 2021, you can take the free shuttle bus to the other entrance and the view from the pathway is really nice.

Visited for the first time. Incredibly stunning views. Unfortunately a part of it is blocked by the mess of things on the roof top of Shangri La hotel. It would be good if the hotel could build something around the roof top to block the mess from the view. The walkway leads to the back entrance of Fort Siloso which is worth visiting.

Decided to go for a morning walk over the weekend. Weather is great (hot as usual) so do bring some water and a towel/tissues with you. - It is surprisingly windy - You can see the wonderful view after taking the lift from the ground floor and also learn about its history. - Family friendly and it can be a learning tour for the children. - Happened to see a cockatoo(?) hanging out and enjoying the breeze as well :)

Visited on 26 October 2023: An elevated skywalk that provides 360 degree views of the surrounding areas. You can either choose to take the elevator or climb up the stairs. The walkway is not sheltered, so precautions must be taken during inclement weather.

Really amazing views at night! Come in the day time and you see a different set of scenery as well. Have come here multiple times and it never fails to amaze me with the beauty it presents. When getting up to the second floor using the elevator, be sure to look out of the lift (which is transparent for those portions facing outwards) and watch the scenery as you get lifted upwards! Would highly recommend you to come and see this for yourself if you do visit to come to Sentosa!

Very scenic skywalk with interesting views and good access to Fort Siloso including an elevator. Portions of the skywalk are covered so you can get out of the sun for a minute or two. Really enjoyed overlooking Siloso Beach and Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa. Everything looked clean, green, and well-maintained.

Visited here in February 2020 and enjoyed the experience. Lift goes up from beach level near Siloso and Shangri-La driveway, up to a platform and walkway above the trees. Amazing views with the walkway leading to Fort Siloso, a great setup with museum and military history of the fort. The skywalk is totally free entry too.

It's a nice walk/small hike/trek with some history about the fortress at the end of the Skywalk. You do get some great views of the Sea as well as the City on the Skywalk. It felt like a combination of workout (walk) and bit of history learning experience. Would recommend to ppl touring Singapore or even locals if they haven't checked out this place.

(Translated by Google) I was here in mid-February 2020, just before the Corona crisis. A small elevator takes you up to the Sky Walk just a few meters from the end of the gondola lift for free. The view from up here is magnificent, there are lots of boards that use photos to explain what exactly you see and what the history of these places is. I was happy to stay there for half an hour before continuing on the Skywalk to Fort Siloso. The distances are short, so that this can all be done well in the heat.

Free walking bridge to reach Silso fort from Silso beach. There is a lift you can take to get you to the top. The views are lovely, letting you out into the ocean on one side and towards Singapore on the other. The walkway is not covered fully, so remember to bring suncream or a sun hat. Would recommend stopping by.

The skywalk is a vantage point to see keppel bay and southern islands/beaches as far as the eyes can see. From here, if you had visited Sentosa in the 1990s - early 2000s, you can also see how much Sentosa had developed over these years e.g. the old underwater world, the monorail that used to run the perimeter of Sentosa etc. The only familiar sight that remains from this skywalk is the Rasa Sentosa Resort and also the SILOSO alphabets on the sand and linkbridge.

  • 5/5 Olevia C. 3 years ago on Google
An elevated walk way to enjoy the panoramic view of the sea, the luxury condominium apartments on Keppel island, and Sentosa Island. The lift was under maintenance and thus we had to walk up 11 storeys to the top. However, the beautiful view makes it a worthwhile climb before we continued with the visit to the tunnel complexes of the preserved Siloso Fort. An interesting way to learn about the history of Singapore during the WWII.

Was looking forward to a walk on this sky bridge and got a chance today! Enjoyed the cool breeze at the top of starting point after exiting from the lift. The scenery up there was amazing and had an aerial view of my favourite Siloso Beach. The walk was not too far and enjoyable. Would come back for another walk anytime. Just note that during this COVID period, there is a limit to the number of persons up on the bridge, so a short wait may be required.

The Sky Walk is a good starting point to tour Fort Siloso. Take 1.5 to 2.5 hours to tour Fort Siloso. Opportunity to learn about part of the history of Singapore & Sentosa, and how the British and Australian soldiers suffered during the WWII. A must visit for the teenagers. Hopefully we’ll appreciate the present peaceful time. Remember to check out the Tunnel A, B, C complexes, Fort Siloso Square, Surrender chambers and more.

My original intent was to be at Sentosa for a morning run. Then, I came across this pace that surprised me - a free entry to the skywalk! What a lovely spot to be. It was windy and cooling at high attitude! You get the beautiful paranomic view of the coast! Walk across the bridge and get a lesson on World War II history of Singapore. It was very well organised. Highly recommended for a visit. It is both educational and a place for some lovely pictures.

Free to enter place with magnificent views of the sea on one side and the city on the other. Also a good place to visit for history lovers as this sky walk will lead to you WWII memorials and tell you about the happenings to Singapore.

The skywalk offers excellent views towards both the ocean and the city. It’s free to enter and a shorter path to Fort Siloso rather than walking around the north side on the road. Do not underestimate how tall this is and try to take the stairs instead of the elevator - it’s a lot of flights.

Fort Siloso is a decommissioned coastal artillery battery in Sentosa, Singapore. It consists of 12 such batteries which made up "Fortress Singapore" at the start of World War II, and saw action during the Battle of Singapore.
