My parents have been members for more than 3 decades and we have many fond memories at CBC. However, the quality of staff and management in recent years have been disappointing. We found out that the parking lots right in front of the entrance have been reserved for committee members only (shouldn't it usually be for disabled parking?). My elderly parents arrived on a rainy day and was told to moved their car after they parked in an unoccupied lot. They were were told that their wheels would be clamped if they did not move. This is preposterous and reflects the utter lack of respect and courtesy of the current management.

Had a great dinner here however might not be really worth the price if you're looking for a simple chinese dinner. Service and food were all awesome however certain products were really overpriced. Still a great experience all in all and will visit again only if there are major occasions that calls for a nice chinese dinner.

Perfect hideaway on a weekend for some dim sum brunch accompanied by a good friend and a lovely view. Unfortunately, food was just mediocre, cannot compare with Tim Ho Wan or Crystal Jade As the saying goes, you can't have your cake and eat it too.

This private club is great for those that live in the North of Singapore. The pool is phenomenal - few places have an outdoor, competitive, 50m pool. Great restaurant with ocean views and a very reasonable membership fee if you're looking to join annually or lifetime member.

The location is sooooo out of the way and there was nothing to make up for that. The view wasn't pretty, the open area was hot af even with fans installed and don't get me started on the numbers of stairs plus lack of accessibility for people in a wheelchair. If you are thinking of holding a wedding here, please re-consider. The elderly will struggle down the stairs and then later back up again when leaving. A whole bunch of men had to hoist my cousin in her wheelchair. The food / catering was absolutely BASIC af. Nothing special, not even tasty in any way. I don't understand why anyone would pick this for a wedding venue lol. People are forced to take a taxi if they don't drive because it's so inaccessible by public transport. I have nothing good to say about this place. Oh wait, I remembered one good point - the toilets are massive and clean. That's it.

Most of the people came here for restaurant or the Olympics size swimming pool. I came here for a stay in their facility. The room looks quite old, and the floor is dusty. Saw the notice that due to covid-19, the room only clean up once a week (does this sounds correct?). WiFi is not working. Don't put any hope on it. The only thing is the nice view you can see from the room and away from city hence is a quiet place. But sound proof not good hence you will know if someone walking outside.

I can't really speak for the rooms and service, I was there for an event. However this club is nice and in a neat location looking over the water. I didn't chat with any staff but they're probably cool.

Came to the restaurant for dinner with family. Nice atmosphere. Staff very friendly. A tad slow in clearing the table though. But professional. Food was OK. Ordered the set dinner for 4. Generous.

Rooms are not up to standard. Aircon wasnt cool in one of the rooms. Moved to another. The bathroom had no toilet roll holder. The toilet seat was not the same size as the toilet bowl. Rooms are run down...

A nice cosy club tucked away from the noise of the city. With a nice swimming pool and the food being served in the restaurant is super. Enjoyed the Chinese Dinner Set for 2. Value for $$$.

Just went to Chinese rstnt : food was tasty and esp the Coffee Pork Ribs were not oo sweet and very tender and the Crispy Noodles presented with noodles twirled round chopsticks suspended in the air as if by some invisible hand ! Hotplate Tofu with Minced Meat and Prawns were also very good and so were the Crispy Squidlets served with sauteed Cucumber & Pineapple pieces. Service was very friendly and personable. If anyone is wheelchair bound, there's a cool contraption to bring you up/down the stairs but you might need to wait a bit for the staff who knows how to operate it.

Lunch at the restaurant was good.. had good seaview of the beach & water. The fish, veggies were good n fresh. We did not book a room but took a ferry to Pulau Ubin, a rustic island just a short distance across the waters for walks & cycling.

Quite a rundown place. However, there is an old school Chinese restaurant that provides good food. Not very convenient as this place not in popular location.

If you want to escape the hurly burly of the city which is Singapore to the country that is Singapore you'll love the Changi Beach Club, especially if you are a swimmer! This is very much old style Singapore, lots of heritage and traditional architecture. It is a club so expect that kind of ambiance.

Really cool place next to the beach. Great facilities and ambience.

Not wheelchair, baby pram, or pets-friendly restaurant despite strategically located at the outskirt of Singapore island. Swimming pool is huge but dated; lane ropeโ€™s ring float cracked easily. Some dirty spot on the bench too. The good part is the pool water being clean, and not much chlorine smell, and huge changing room. best if can equip sauna/steamroom. Many improvements can be made to improve return visitors traffic.

  • 3/5 Joseph M. 1 year ago on Google
Rather dated club. Pool is nice. Restaurant is grossly overpriced.

The owner was really kind with me. I was just staying there for a night and boy there were great facilities even though due to cny they had to shut it down. The pool is humongous and the rooms are too good. The shower area is big and the washroom is huge. The rooms are very neat and tidy. I would surely recommend you guys to stay here for any staycation or a vacation. You would surely come across the humble manager

Located at the west end of Changi coast. A private resort club. Quiet and rustic locaton. Good view of beach stroll to watch sunset and fishing on the near broadwalk connector.

The lunch at the Seafood Restaurant was a surprise. The full lobster on promotion @S$59 is a steal. Its very well cooked with fried noodles & tastefully presented. The road diversion is causing them some loss of business. Eating is like feasting on a large boat, with the lovely sea view surrounding 3 glass walls. They deserve better support.

Went there for food and karaoke. Food is ok, was pleasantly surprised with the presentation of a particular dish. Karaoke seems to have lots of regular customers, only get to sing once or twice though I was there for a few hours.

  • 4/5 Richard Y. 1 year ago on Google
Didn't stay at the club overnight. We went to the bar to do some karaoke as my friend is currently a member at this club. I liked the idea we can use the QR code to either search on their site for a song or search online such as YouTube. Once you find the song on YouTube, you can have video play and sing alongside. Sound system was good no issues. Beer was good with the peanuts. Wish I could order another beer but it was my last day in SG. Great way to end my trip in SG and hang with my friends. Hope to come back again next time.

Even without a membership it is possible to eat in the restaurant. Food was mediocre and overpriced. Staff was friendly. The ocean view was the best part, but still I think one time was enough and I would not come back again.

It was really run down, the room was tired and dirty and the lady on reception was really unhelpful when we arrived. The young man who covered for her the following day whilst she was on her lunch break was much more helpful and the staff in the restaurant were lovely especially with our children.

A pretty old school club with lots of nostalgic and superb panoramic views of the sea. Loved the peacefulness and really it isnt that expensive. Good for local staycation or to get away from the business of our usually fast paced lives. Looking for a romantic, time alone or even memorable times? Look no further.

While the place seems quite ulu, the interior of the chalet room is pretty decent. At night, the view from the window can be very nice depending on which room u havw gotten (for me, it was the on facing the swimming pool). And hes, there is a bigg swimming pool for those keen to swim.if you are looking for a less expensive chalet unit as compared to dresort etc, it is a good alternative.

Located close to the airport, taking a taxi is the best way to get there. The rooms are big and spacious. The swimming pool is enormous. There is a children's pool as well. About food there is only the Resort's Restaurant. There are no other restaurants close by. Unfortunately they do not serve Halal Food. U can take a bus from nearest bus stop that is Bef Cranwell Rd. You can take this bus and go to the nearest MRT that is Upper Changi, from here you will get the purple line Mrt., and go to China Town, Little India where u can get good Halal food. There is no bell boy to carry your luggage to the room, so you have to carry your luggage tru and fro.

Changi Beach Club is a decent place to stay for the price. You really get what you pay for. I was only staying for a short while, so I didnโ€™t mind some of the hotel taboos. Firstly when we arrived there was no one to greet us to check us in. We waited around for 10 minutes before we found someone. Once we checked into our room we were underwhelmed. The bathroom had ants all over the sink and other bugs on the walls. The hand soap dispenser was out and the sink was dirty. The toilet paper roll had not been changed. Our room had a great view and the beds were relatively clean. One morning I turned the water heater on to take a shower and the water never got hot. When I returned later in the evening the water was very hot. I have to assume that many guests were trying to shower at the same time as me that morning and thatโ€™s why I couldnโ€™t get hot water. The biggest let down is their branding as a โ€œbeachโ€. The โ€œbeachโ€ is a couple feet of sand before the murky water begins. The water is only shallow close to the shore. It very quickly drops off and children should be watched vigilantly. The drive into town is a little far. Overall I would say that our stay was average

Not child-friendly if you intend to bring babies who are not able to walk yet. There are no lifts so if you're bringing a stroller, you have to be prepared to climb lots of stairs with your stroller. I felt that my stroller was more of a hindrance so I just sling my baby every time I leave my room. My room was quite dirty. There were ants on my bed and the floor felt greasy - we had to walk around in our room with slippers. Restaurant was under renovation, the bar was available. Swimming pool is huge. It's near the sea so that's nice. But the furniture near the sea was dirty too. Room and toilet are spacious.
