2 stars for nice staff, but… 1. Unhygienic. The bedsheet stinks of urine. 2. NOT FRIENDLY TO SOLO TRAVELLERS. The hotel restaurant (Kelong) is only open for solo travellers after 1PM , but group travellers can enter first. Whoever implemented this rule does not deserve any business from solo travellers. Besides, where are the welcome drinks included in my package? 3. Front desk told me restaurant takes last order by 9:30. I went there at 9 only to be told restaurant was closed. They kindly still let me order though.

Location was okay but service was terrible. I paid for 2 days buffet breakfast and was served only bread for day one. On day 2 they had a full continental breakfast buffet so i asked the staff why was the food so pathetic on the previous day. The response was that they did not put out the buffet because there were "not many guests in hotel on that day". Yet they had the audacity to charge me full price for 2 days. The hotel staff promised to email me after checking internally but have not heard from them for 2 weeks. Stay at your own risk.

Old hotel with old furniture. Price does not match! Far from town. Tap water dirty. They won't compensate anything! Think twice. Don't get lured by nice pictures.

Place and environment is really nice...but no any food and restaurants available in resort. Have room service but waiting time is 1 to 2 hours for simple things. This nice place should have nice food and restaurant!!!

My partner organised the whole weekend staycation for my birthday and it was an AMAZING experience. Arrived at Nongsapura Ferry terminal, please approach their staff there who will assist you for clearance and all you need to do is to wait at their free shuttle service to the resort. Note that we booked through Agoda and not direct from the resort and they still assisted us. That was the first indication that it was going to be a good stay! The journey from the ferry terminal to the resort was around 7mins. Pretty fast. So, that was good as we were super excited! We arrived pretty early around 1pm. We wanted to try our luck of having an early check-in from the usual check-in time of 3pm. Fortunately for us, the team of receptionists were super friendly and helpful, and we managed to not only check-in on the spot but was given a free upgrade to a better room with a bathtub. This was the next blessed spur to our experience. When we finally entered the room, we were greeted by a warm welcome message on our bed. And the doorbell rang minutes later to surprise us with a cute looking ice cream cake to celebrate my birthday. Not to mention, our balcony view was facing the amazing sea view! The first day we did both canoeing ($5/hr) and jet ski-ing ($35/15mins). Quite affordable, I must say. We also visited their little pet farm with cats, chicken, roosters, parrots and an iguana. The infinity pool and jacuzzi at the beach was also nice. The only thing we felt could be better was the dinner steak buffet. It was 250k rp/pax. We went to have a look, the selections were limited and most of it were already depleted when we arrived at 8pm when it just started. Not really appetising too. This was the only let down. But it was alright. We then decided to walk down a bit and ate at Montigo Resort instead. Nice ambience called for grabfood for supper. Super cheap and delicious! Please also visit the Kelong restaurant. They do serve good seafood dishes with a beautiful view. Highly recommended!! Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay in Batam View Beach resort all thanks to the smiley and service-oriented staff working there. We would definitely bring our family the next time we visit. Thank you to all the amazing staff in Batam View Beach Resort!

Rooms were nice and clean. However amenities left much to be desired and much of the resort's water activities were closed or under maintenance. It's also 30-40mins away from the city and food delivery services are unwilling to drive so far up the coast. Just stay somewhere else.

Its only a few resorts around this area in Batam! So i was staying there twice and i dont think that I will be back! The place was a very big and empty! As i remember its always empty or full of local or Chinese tourists. Literally, i was staying there twice and both times, It was super empty or over crowed. But of course, good for business since its a huge place. Its always something under reconstruction, hopefully they will finish it one day. Water sports: Well, both staying's i could use it even once. This part of Batam depends on the water level very much! So whenever i was coming there and was trying to use any of the watersports - never worked out. And its one of the reason to go to batam in my point of view! I was even asking the staff to help me out and maybe to let me know when water is in the right level! Unfortunately, service is extremely lucking and it takes a long way to the water sport side so i got tired of that. food and drinks. food is very limited even so I like it. Drinks will take forever and seems like they do it for the first time. But of course I can understand that. Even so drinks are very strong and quit cheep! It looks like a family resort to me so we were bored quick! and its nothing nearby except a beach club! But i was happy about that. It was empty but took a long time to check in. they a small but deep pool with a bar! resort is big but - they can maintain it better! Taxi can be booked only from the hotel! Its far away from the central! cheers!

A weekend sanctuary place... Try the villas to enjoy the extraordinary view and sea atmosphere. Cook your own food with provided kitchen and have it just beside the sea. Most of villas are made from wood and old, giving a old kampung style, but the air conditioner in bedroom really kill... It is blowing hurricane to your face when sleeping. Too hot and bored looking at the sea, try the pool, there are 2 pools near the beach and behind hotel for deeper swimming. Or sea sport with additional spending. The hotel has mini zoo with 2 cockatoos, can you differ which male and female? Tell by look into their eyes... Cats many, turkeys many, chicken with curled feather many, iguana one... It's a good place to hide in Batam

Amazing hotel with shuttle service from Nongsa Ferry Terminal. Despite its cheaper price point was really blown away by the size of the resort and what it provided. They have an animal corner with Cats, parrots, Chickens and Turkeys! At around 8-9 they usually let the cats out so really nice time to say hi to the animals PS. Dont expect much from the breakfast it was passable 👍🏼

Room were decent size and ok clean given the price. They kept a pet parrot and some chickens who will crow non stop throughout the day and at dawn (4AM onwards) making it difficult to have a good rest. They also have a lot of pet cats some kept in bigger cages near the chickens but at least 4 of them were kept in very small cages and none of them were let out to walk around. That's really bad. They did take care of the animals as in fed them and cleaned the cage etc but the fact that they are in cages most of the time is just bad.

The hotel is a bit tired but the staff are great. Look past some of the shabby bits and deep down it's good. The band playing in the lounge is annoying when it's the only place to eat when it's quiet.(no guests) The grounds are very nice and the hotel has a good kitchen garden. That's a nice touch. The beach area is clean and safe for children. The seafood restaurant is excellent. Great breakfast spread. The bed linen and towels were very nice and changed every day. We would go again. A big yes.

Good for a short getaway. Basically nothing much to do. Room is comfortable. Breakfast, lunch and BBQ dinner is not that great. Note: Coffee tasted like plain water.

Nice resort near Nongsapura jetty. Their packages for stay are affordable and service is good. Stayed in 2 room villa at the seaside and really nice view, with water view just outside the balcony! Bed has mosquito net too. Only bad thing is the villas are a little old, and this area is slightly further from main town area.

My room was extremely dirty. There was a blood stain on my bed sheet. This really disgusted me. The sink was so dirty and the tap in the wash basin was so old and rusty. The holder for the shower head was not firm and kept falling down. The staff do try their best. I am thankful for their effort. However, this hotel is just too dirty (in the rooms). It looks decent from the outside. But the fixtures are all falling apart. Good view of the beach. There were cockroaches in my room. I noticed that rubbish left outside the room (by other guests) were not cleared quickly enough. This led to a cockroach problem. There were cockroaches in my toilet. This resort is quite far from the city centre so if you are renting a car..then it is fine. Otherwise, way too far. Room Service is almost non-existent. I tried calling the hotline for 3 hours and no one answered the line. Ran the reception and they asked me to try 2 more numbers. Still no one picking up. I gave up and ordered Grabdfood. It will all take 1 hour to be delivered due to the sheer distance of the hotel from the city centre. There is live music in the evenings to night time. This is nice. However, the volume of the speakers is just way too loud. It ends up being a difficult experience because the singers are really good and put in their best to provide a good show. The sheer blasting volume is a put off though. Try the other resorts next door if you are wanting a beach getaway. I personally wouldn’t return. I’m just disgusted and cannot wait for this trip to be over.

terrible service, outdated and unsanitary environment. Reception staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. High tea took forever to come even though it was just a few pieces of brownie, fruits & coffee. Hotel breakfast was underwhelming too, not enough seats for the guests and outside tables were dirty.

Clean and comfortable room, breakfast decent compare batam standard. This place have a lot of potential, if there are more facilities N frequent shuttle bus to / fro town could be a highly raved facilities. Karaoke system too old and bed quite hard.

Stayed 1 night with my 2 kids, 2 years old and 7 years old, but I have to pay extra breakfast charge for my 7 year old daughter whereas other hotels never charge breakfast for children below 11 years old. And there were not many breakfast varieties and not tasty too. No wonder the hotel has few guests stay there now.

Came here to relax for a view days. The room (deluxe) was not the newest but overall very nice. Unfortunately, the rest of the resort could not match the room. The beach was dirty and smelly, the breakfast was OK and the service was friendly but really bad.

To management teams and who may concern This hotels really needs staff training and management. First of all, we booked sea view and they gave us pool or garden view. I don’t realize on day1 becoz we can see pool and sea but sea is very far away becoz it is on 2nd floor. 2nd day, my friends arrived and check in. Their room is lvl 4 and can clearly see the sea. And , we go talk reception and they said we need to pay extra 10$ for cleaning service. Why we need to pay?? We never make the room dirty. Everything is about paying extra fees. First impressions, hotel main pool really need to renovate. When we swim their infinity pool at beach side, we requested glasses and towers and they charged. Everyone needs tower at poolside. Hotel dont care ppl who use infinity pool. ??? Is it??? Only want to charge. After we come up from pool, we gave back our ice bucket and glasses to the bar including our room glasses. And, check out time, they said they cannot find our room glasses and we explain that we already gave to bar. But they said their bar in-charge cannot find and we need to pay extra.Besides, the main pool looks really bad and we never want to swim there. On the last day, we add on 2 hrs more for check out time. It is ok to charge. We understand. And , they do hotel renovations on lvl5 where is very loud drilled sound , we stay at lvl 4 above our head. At least, they should inform us when they want to renovate. Very bad hotel service . We suggest pls upgrade your main swimming pool and make convenient pedestrian way to infinity pool. And pls repair ur jacuzzi. It is very dirty and never hot.

We played 36 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday. It's only 5 mins from palm springs G&CC to batam view beach resort. Very convenient. We had buffet dinner at the poolside, and chefs cooking on the spot. Drinks were reasonable, and there was also a live band. It's was a great experience... Kids had fun,

Stayed here during CNY weekend of 2024 for 3D2N. The stay was ok, but not great. The hotel room was kept clean except for the floors. As soon as I stepped on it, I could feel it hasn’t been mopped for some time. As for service, it’s been slow. Took the staff some time to send up the extra bed I ordered. Additionally, the F&B staff was excruciatingly slow in all my lunches there. I waited for almost an hour for my grilled chicken. When I kept checking with the staff for the status, they just told me I have to wait rather than going to check on my behalf. I’m most disappointed by the slow service, especially for the F&B. Even when I ordered 2 cocktails at the bar, it took them 20mins to serve despite having 3 people working at the bar. Based on my observation, I do not think it’s the lack of staff that’s the reason for slow service. It is the lack of proper training and efficiency. There were plenty of staff in the hotel during my stay, but a lot of them were slow because they were unfamiliar or just standing around. The location is nice though. It’s got a great view of the beach. However after my experience in this hotel, I will not be staying there again.

I spent four days at this place, and I must admit the best vacation I had ever had. Amazing staff, great food, and if you like sea food, try the Kelong restaurant, simply the best. The staff are so friendly and really made my stay an amazing one. I will certainly visit them soon.

Stayed in 1 room villa and 3 room villa.. most expensive room (more ex than their suite) but not allowed to request for just 1 more pillow for my kid. Said their policy doesn’t allow to request for anything extra. Worst, they want to charge us for using the sofa bed when that’s the only sofa in the living room. Out of 4 rooms that we have in the 2 villas, 3 aircons were leaking. The beach was also not clean, got my kids and cousins picking up 2 bagful of rubbish from the beach 😂

Very near nongsa ferry terminal. Staff are excellent, always there to help with a Smile. facility well maintained. Jetski, jacuzzi , banana boat all available and comfortable. BUT room in the building 2nd floor did get hot - apparently a problem with central air conditioning. Rooms are modern and has the essentials minus body lotion. There’s a convenience shop at the first floor. Breakfast is simple, but fantastic egg station.

Had a lovely weekend here back in August, the most amazing stay with the most attentive service. As soon as we arrived off the boat from Singapore we were met with staff of Batam View who had arranged for all of our immigration needs to be taken care of and arranged a bus to take us to the resort. Once at the resort we had our room upgraded to a better room with lovely views. We met with the owner of the resort who took us on a boat trip to an island for lunch and then arranged the most beautiful sunset dinner for myself and my partner. Could not be more grateful for the experience of getting to stay here, everything was just perfect. Food and drink options are great and activities such as jet skis are lots of fun. Hope to be able to return again one day!

I had a very bad experience with this hotel 🏨 we checked in a bit late due to custom heavy traffic, when we reach for our check in things go smoothly but when we see our room we got a surprise! It's not as what we booked ! Imagine that we booked 7 rooms with queen size bed but received 2 single bed !!! All of the rooms that we booked was 2 single bed !!!! That's it I'm not gonna book this hotel ever again !!!

Stayed for 3D2N at the beach resort under the Rejuvenate package (which according to the website had ended, but was still available when I wrote in) which provided our tickets, stay at deluxe room and a javanese massage per pax. I was hesitant and cautious due to the online reviews but the whole process of travelling from Singapore to the resort was fuss free and we enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful wherever we went, and the resort was indeed bigger than expected. There were two pools - a main one near the main hotel, and an infinity pool near the beach villas. The beach was clean and good sized, with benches where we could just sit and enjoy the sea breeze. Not every part of the resort was well kept (herb and spice garden was full of weeds with little flowers), but I attributed that to a possible lack of manpower cos of Covid previously. My husband and I had dinner for both nights at the Kelong restaurant and we highly recommend getting the fish (we had steamed sea bass on the first and fried black grouper on the second night and both fishes were fresh and tasted great). Food at the Kelong was much better than the one at the hotel restaurant (which we ate for lunch on the second day and it was meh.) Hotel room looked slightly dated but it was clean and I had a good night's rest :) Our javanese massage was GREAT - I highly recommend it haha. All in all a good rest over the weekend :) Will return!

Located near by nongsa terminal, the hotel is great, quiet and with a good services to offer. It has some great view on the sea-side. There are some deluxe rooms available on the 5th floor with a great sea view, have attached few pics of it. It's a great visit for a family/friends/solo travel.

Was looking for a laid back resort to rejuvenate for a few days. Had visited this resort over a decade ago and had fond memories so decided to revisit. Pros: - Quiet location away from the hustles around Batam town - Lovely sea view surrounding the resort - Friendly staff - Free daily hi-tea / drinks (not sure if this is only for villa guests though) - Breakfast selection was okay with a decent selection. - Staff were very professional, live band and magic show continued on in the evening even though there was almost no audience. - Buggy to pick up/drop off to and from the villa - Has a WhatsApp communication system. Able to send your requests through WhatsApp, though it may take them some time to respond. Cons: - The 2 bedroom villa that we stayed in had their bedrooms and living room entirely separated. The living room was on the lower floor while the bedrooms were on the upper floor. This meant you needed to walk out of the upper floor room just to go to the lower floor room and vice versa, and each room needed a keycard to power up. - Power trips happened throughout the day in the villa. Oddly though, after each power trip, the electricity will power back up on its own. - The sheltered outdoor area (with deck chairs) of the living room on the lower floor wasn't maintained well. When it rained, water will seep from the upper floor balcony down to the sheltered area. - Amenities are poorly maintained. Had wanted to play badminton, but the net was broken. The rackets also were not strung properly, and shuttlecocks were worn. - Mosquitoes were breeding in uncovered containers at the outdoor courts. Staff who was informed merely shifted the container away from us. In his defence, I don't think he actually understood what our concerns were. But the hotel management will probably need to better educate their staff. - Some water activities listed were not available. We had wanted to do rafting and but staff couldn't understand what it was even though it was on the suggested activities list and we were subsequently told it wasn't available. - Rooms are old and not soundproof at all. One of the mornings, there was some event ongoing at the resort and we could literally hear everything that the emcee was saying from wherever he was. There was no notification from the hotel about the event either. Summed up, I think the resort has great potential but alot more effort would probably be needed to maintain its facilities in good condition.

I went there with my family (2 adult, 2 kids) for three nights. Overall nice experience. The staff named Nia is very helpful and polite. They took care my hotel and ferry booking. When we arrived at Nongsapura, the hotel staff waited for us and helped us with immigration. When I checked in, I got offered free upgrade for the room, which is nice. The room faces the view of ocean - which I really missed by now. There is a little sandy private beach behind the hotel, which is nice. and they offer some kind of activities (banana board, knee boarding, etc.). There was a little mishap as I was always asked to pay for kids' breakfast despite I already paid upfront - but can be solved by showing them my invoice. Would appreciate if they record this kind of things better. Other cons is difficulty to get decent food in decent price. The hotel offers food which if you go with two kids for lunch and diner, will get my wallet empty by end of the day. But, this can be solved by using online food order (gr*b). The hotel offers taxi to go to town, I didn't use the service as I got friend picked us up for traveling to town. Overall nice experience and looking to be back there again.

Decent chill place! Stayed in a villa this time instead of the traditional “hotel” wing. 1min walk from the villa to the new jacuzzi which is nice. The sea view is awesome!

Booked a sea villa, but there were none left when we arrived and we got “upgraded” to a 3 room family sized villa instead. It doesn’t have a view of the sea, but you do get a small kitchen and dining area. Hi-Tea was meh, tv reception was terrible, Internet access stable but very slow. There are no amenities nearby, so stock up before you return, otherwise you have to rely on room service. Otherwise, room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly.

Rooms are nice and modern. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location wise there are limited food and beverage options but resort offers a variety of activities in terms of water sports. Do note that Massage is way pricier compared to other areas in batam

I believe this is the best property in Batam, just 35 mins Ferry from Singapore, 20 mins from Airport. Excellent Sunsets, visit Kampung nearby, live music almost every day, newly renovated rooms.

The website shows the different kinds of water sports you can do here. But when I travelled all the way here, I was told that it's only for hotel guests. I intended to pay just for the water activities. Ended up going to a nearby resort - Turi Beach Resort, that offered similar activities.

Booked their 2D1N Rejuvenate Spa Package and was very happy with our stay. Hotel staff was on standby at the ferry terminal to guide us through immigration and onto the shuttle bus, so the arrival was hassle-free. Rooms were really comfortable and the beds were huge! The spa included in our package was good, and there was live music at the bar at night. The hotel surroundings were lovely too. A nice place for a weekend getaway.
