Nice place to visit. The twin huts have several floors up to see the from the southernmost point of Singapore. It is located on Palawan beach across the palawan bridge.

An okay place to chill and there are some views from the top of the tower. Bridge to the island is closed due to the virus. To be a spoilsport, 1 star as it is totally not the southernmost point of continental asia as 1) it is on an island off an island off an island off Asia (Malay Peninsula); 2) even parts of Singapore e.g. Tuas and Jurong Island are more south than this; and 3) parts of Sentosa itself eg. sentosa cove and tanjong beach are even more south than this!

Claims to be the southernmost point of continental Asia. Accessible from Palawan Beach. Two Towers which are connected are available for viewing with a ground deck as well. Good place to watch the sea ships. Probably can see some birds but wasn’t lucky myself. Went at 8:34 and I was alone there.

Such a peaceful Island of Singapore. I would definitely recommend you to visit once and make sure that you spend at least 3-4 hours here to enjoy your day. The best time to go there is in the evening and enjoy the sunset. You can also bring your own food in case you want to spend more time.

Nice escape from the city for a relaxing day on the beach. The monkey bridge from the beach to the island is fun and the panorama front the tower is very nice. Very clean showers and toilets available at site. Once there, you may also grab the Sentosa free shuttle bus to go around the various beaches and attractions of the island or have a look a the animal and bird encounters.

Unbelievable, such a peaceful paradise next to this gigantic glamorous city. Even so the extraordinary beautiful beaches. I strongly recommend going there. An advice in advance, go there(Singapore in general) by plane and not per bus, because of the drug smugglers and the death sentence on drug possession.

A totally meaningless sign that is much commented on in other reviews. Why 'they' chose it - who knows! - but it is on a cute little island with good observation towers and some informative signs. We had a swim here and took photos. Looking westwards you get great vistas of the numerous ships in this area. So many! - see my pix.

Fun place to explore with a great lookout point. At Palawan island, climb up the pavilion on your left side after crossing the bridge. It would give you 360 unblocked view. The pavilion on the right side has too much leaves covering the view.

Beautiful place for people who love to see sea and sky🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️ no regret when you walk upstairs to the small wooden house even just to take a look. And the little bridge is definitely an attraction for all who wanna post into social media and ask for likes 🤣🤣 Sentosa completely a good choice for people to relax lei..while for those people wanna visit Sentosa for free, please go now before 30 Sep. Due to free of charge on the Sentosa Express from now on till the end of Sep. Sentosa Express, which is running train service from and to Vivocity. And most popular way to visit Sentosa!!

A good place to chill and good vantage point to view the sea and ships. Now (Nov 2020) is temporary close due to COVID-19 (aka Wuhan virus). One star rating because the claim of "southernmost point of continental Asia" is a marketing gimmick by Sentosa Development Corporation. 1) According to geography, the southernmost point of continental Asia is Tanjung Piai, Johor, Malaysia. 2) Pamana Island, Indonesia is the southernmost point of Asia. 3) This place is not even southernmost point of Sentosa Island. The southernmost point of Sentosa Island located at Sentosa Cove, a place for rich people, which is off limit to non-residents. Tanjong Beach which is open to public located further south to this point. 4) Tuas South is further south than this point. Anyway, this inaccurate advertisement gimmick helps Sentosa lure visitors to this place.

Interesting place with a nice view and not a lot of people there, not crowded at all (I've visited at the weekday, but anyway). If you wanna go there during weekend need to book timeslot for a beach entrance because it is limited. In a rainy day probably not a good idea at all. 15 minutes is enough for a visiting. Near to the bus stop. Cab book a cab near the beach.

If you get to Sentosa, you must visit this famous place. To get here you will have to cross from Palawan Beach a rope bridge, a wonder in itself. Not very busy, you can climb the twin wooden towers for great views of the Indian Ocean or you can sit by the water.

Walking on the hanging rope bridge was a good experience. 100 meters walk and we can reach the island. It is southern most point of continental Asia. There is a tower bridge and the view from here is awesome, we can see lots of ships, boats and few Indonesian island.

It is a wonderful place. A symbolic location made beautiful by an uncommon care of the landscape and, somewhere, of good respect to nature. The little island is magic, with the typical bridge and the tongue of land which is a mirror of the beach located at the entrance of the main island. Singapore is beautiful more or less everywhere, a beauty that is never trivial and that becomes over time always more impressive. Sentosa is a symbolic place not only because of its past and its new shining life in the present, but also because it hosts the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia, making still humans feel very small before the sea and the entire planet.

It's nice but I just don't understand the name. First of all it's not "continantal" as it is on a small artificial island on a bigger island (Sentosa) what is in a country what is an island itself. On the other hand this is not the "southernmost point" of Sentosa.

(Translated by Google) It seems to be like the southernmost point of Asia. But firstly, Singapore is an island and the point is located on a small island. Not the mainland anymore? Entrance is limited in time. In the morning until 9, keep a sign prohibiting passage. And so before, a good place: suspension bridge, observation deck. True between the two tower the passage is closed.

A floating bridge connecting the islands and a nice walk along the beach in the evening. Will have good view of the island and the beach from the 3 towers at the claimed 'southernmost end of singapore' but may not be now. One has free tram rides that one can hop on and travel around on sentosa Island.

Nice beach but terrible water quality. Also, it's not the southern most point of continental Asia. It's not even the southern most point of Sentosa.

  • 3/5 Joanna O. 2 years ago on Google
I have questions. Why is this on a small island off the west of Sentosa, itself an island? It's a cute place to go, and nice to see views from high up. The footbridge that connects the island with Sentosa is fun. But it feels like a curious place for the "southernmost" designation. It is unstaffed, just has the structure with stairs to get up and see the view.

Pretty cool viewing point at the sea, and Sentosa. Don't miss the vertical palm tree. The wooden building needs a slight renovation as it's slowly falling apart from all the rotting parts. It does not feel very sturdy.

  • 4/5 Zac S. 1 year ago on Google
Aside from the clearly misleading nature of the name and questionable structural integrity of the lookout towers, this point provides great ocean views over the endless cargo ships, and similarly good views over the island of Sentosa. Bringing this place down is the fact that anyone with even the most basic compass and/or map-reading skills would be able to tell that in no way is this the true southernmost point of continental Asia (and arguably not a part of continental Asia at all). Furthermore, the lookout towers seems as though they could literally come tumbling down at any moment, with giant cracks in the pillars holding them up and wonky stairs all over the place. Perhaps the rickety swing bridge across to the islet is a teaser for the structural soundness of the actual lookout…

This is a must visit in Singapore. A great place, with a fantastic view, and a unique experience. The bridge is also funny to cross. Nice facilities. The ships in the ocean was a bit disturbing to the view out over the sea, but the view towards the beach was very nice. This is a popular tourist destination so it could be a lot of a people here at the same time.

Visited on 26 October 2023. Not really the Southernmost point of continental Asia. Even if the Causeway was considered a land bridge, the southern most point of Singapore mainland will be at PSA Tuas Port in the West.

a beautiful place to take a picture with the “twin towers” and the sea, plus there is a beautiful suspension bridge linking from sentosa to the area where it is perfect to take a picture too. just note that there is a lot of sandflies and other insects so insect repellent is necessary.
