If
I
could
give
0
star
I
would
-
Our
overall
experience
was
horrible.
Name
me
any
zhi
char
place
that
serves
seafood,
and
I
am
pretty
sure
the
food
quality
and
service
would
beat
this
place
hands
down.
Our
order
was
taken
by
an
arrogant
and
rude
uncle
(big
belly)
who
seems
to
be
the
restaurant’s
“manager”.
While
browsing
the
menu,
he
stuffed
a
piece
of
paper
with
some
handwriting
(looks
bad)
informing
me
that
there
is
some
special
promotion
which
cost
“only”
$258.
Was
surprised
that
a
restaurant
like
Long
Beach
has
this
kind
of
“standards”
when
it
comes
to
selling
something
to
customers
face
to
face.
It
would
have
been
better
if
he
handed
me
a
proper
menu
indicating
the
ongoing
promotion
(like
what
most
restaurants
often
do),
instead
of
passing
me
a
piece
of
paper
(what
was
he
trying
to
prove?
write
me
love
letter?
or
give
me
a
bribe?).
The
initial
impression
we
got
before
ordering
was
already
so
bad,
don’t
get
me
started
on
the
other
negative
things
we
had
observed:
-Receipts
being
stuck
to
random
walls/pillars
of
the
restaurant
to
keep
track
of
food
being
serve
(I
had
a
picture
attached).
I
understand
there
could
be
legit
reasons
for
doing
so,
but
pretty
sure
there
are
better
ways
to
keep
track
of
orders
which
are
already
served?
-The
temperature
of
the
food
was
not
warm/hot.
Take
for
example
the
steamed
Sea
Bass
we
ordered,
there
wasn’t
any
steam
coming
out
of
the
food.
Call
me
fussy,
but
I
am
pretty
sure
most
Zhi
Char
places
serve
their
steamed
fish
hot
with
SMOKE
coming
up
of
the
food.
-Taste
of
food?
Nah,
no
thanks.
They
were
low
quality
without
any
“wow”
factor.
Considering
the
price
paid,
we
expected
more.
As
I
mentioned
above,
most
zhi
char
places
already
beat
the
food
quality
of
this
place
hands
down.
-Yes,
this
was
the
big
no
go
–
The
"Manager”,
a.ka.
big
belly
uncle
who
seemed
like
he
owns
the
whole
place
(maybe
he
is
the
“boss”
afterall?),
and
we
caught
him
sipping
coffee
openly
in
the
restaurant’s
cashier
area.
On
some
occasions,
we
also
saw
him
ordering
employees
around
the
restaurant
in
a
pretty
rude
manner.
The
only
positive
thing
I
could
remember
was
this
waitress
(not
sure
on
her
name)
who
served
our
table
(seems
like
a
Malaysian),
as
she
was
friendly
and
approachable.
A
quick
shoutout
to
her.
What
was
anticipated
to
be
a
joyful
occasion
to
celebrate
my
mother’s
birthday,
eventually
turned
out
to
be
a
disastrous
dining
experience.
This
was
the
second
time
we
had
dined
in
Long
Beach
IMM
(the
other
time
was
pre-covid,
where
the
overall
experience
was
so
much
better).
Guess
this
is
the
second
and
last
time
we
will
be
dining
there.
