Kids love the lazy river. The 3-bedrooms apartment accommodates us comfortably. Check-in/check-out process is amazingly smooth despite the huge crowd. Breakfast is acceptable. The room service team is very nice to deal with. Recommended for big group of friends/family to stay. No complaints for this price range. Just didn't get to enjoy the beach as much because of the ongoing upgrading project.

I really love our stay here! A lot of water activities to be done. Our room is spacious and clean. The water pressure is strong 👍 Room service also fast and has delicious menu. A perfect place for a staycation, but be mindful during the holidays. There were so many people the place was literally crowded. But still, a pleasant stay. We love it!

Pros: right on the beach (though we were there during monsoon season, so the sea was a no go). We got the duplex - everything felt old school, but the whole room was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower’s good and well supplied (bonus points for toothbrush and toothpaste). Every single member of staff was a bonus to the hotel - another rarity. Cons: huge place, some people might need the supplied buggy service. Elevator was out of service on second day, so people with plenty of stuff and mobility issues might be inconvenienced.

This resort has got lots to offer for their customers. The staffs are friendly and efficient. We were there for our annual family trip. All family members had a great time there. This includes food, water park, the sea, water sports and much more. Keep up the good service..

We come to here every year Dec for vacations for the past 15 years. It's has been improving a lot, but the room is a bit rundown. Kids love the water park and swimming pool. Clean and tidy. It's my 1st time went to the restaurant and out of my expectations, the food is tasty and affordable. Waiter or waitress are very attentive and super efficient. Even the security guards are efficient and called the buggy for us. Well done and looking forward for more improvement.

Overall, this is our getaway staycation with family after the MCO 3.0. Enjoyed our stay here for 3D2N. 1) At the guard house, c/in to MySejahtera and temperature was taken. 2) Waited for about 30min for c/in at the lobby. C/in procedure was smooth which took about 5min. 3) Rooms were okay, just need to refurbish and maintain cleanliness as floor and surfaces dusty. Basic amenities like fridge, microwave oven, kettle, coffee tea, toiletries and towels provided. 4) Many outlets available to accommodate your needs from F&B, retail, pool, gym, business center and SPA. 5) Various activities also available during the weekend for young once and like minded. Beach activities are also available for some cost. 6) Buffet breakfast spread was good. The management just need to top-up before the item finishes. Plates are cleared immediately once empty which allows the guest to have more room on the table. 7) Staffs are friendly and approachable.

Cleanliness in the room is good just that design is dated. They are having construction on the beach at the moment , however you will need to move further to enjoy the beach. Great and yummy local breakfast however not all guest adhered to sop to wear gloves, the resort should guide or remind the guest. Suitable for family with kids.

Suitable for family gathering or corporate events. Got paintball field. Ample parking. Big rooms with suitable price. Souvenir shop . Overall satisfied.

The rooms were spacious and very calm during the week days. Beach was kept clean and easily accessible. Friendly staff all over. Selection of food for Non-vegetarians seems great however, Buffet menu for vegetarians can be improvised!

The resort is pleasant for a family vacation. The swimming pool and the waterpark is good especially for those with young children. The room is very clean and comfortable. However, the receptionist is not friendly at all. This is my first time staying at a resort with bad receptionist like this. One female staff name Maya didn't greet us at all upon reaching and before leaving the counter. When we asked questions also she didn't bother to explain anything to us. Seriously it ruins our experience of staying here. The resort should take effort to educate their front counter staff properly as they are the one that is holding the image of your resort to your customers.

Exceptional service delivered. The place was always clean, the food was excellent, the staff always did their best to accommodate any requests. More than that, it was always done with a smile, despite the large number of guests they receive. I accidentally left my laptop charger in the hotel and when I called them, they not only tracked it but even sent it through postal service to KL. Highly recommend this place!

I recently stayed at Lotus Desaru Beach Resort & Spa and I have to say that it was an amazing experience. The resort is situated in a beautiful location, right on the beach, and the views are absolutely stunning. The rooms were spacious and well-furnished, with all the amenities you could possibly need. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. One of the things that really stood out for me was the food. There was a wide variety of dishes on offer, and everything was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the seafood, which was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. Overall, I would highly recommend Lotus Desaru Beach Resort & Spa to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway. One of the best resorts in Malaysia for that price I would say. Staff are in abundance, everywhere is so clean! Great service, clean rooms, the Chinese restaurant there is fantastic. Everything is great and enjoyable. So easy to book just by calling them… they have really thought this through to make your stay as seamless as possible. Will continue to go back every 3 months! Easy check in. Place is old but well maintained. Room was clean, mattress and pillows comfortable. Room lighting is quite dim. Bathroom hot water responsive, no smells. Walls slightly thin. Facilities are quite good, with the water park and three pools. Spa can accommodate up to 6 people, prices are about RM250 onwards for a massage.

Went for a one day stay during the month end. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff are friendly as well. Paid additional RM30 for the breakfast as my booking didn’t include breakfast. The breakfast buffet is sufficiently supplied and considered worth the money in terms of portion and variety. However, I personally feel that most of the food provided are too heavy for me.

13.02.2022. the water park is fun. can wear normal shirt and pants. rm25 adult. rm15 kids 5-12yo. rm10 below 5yo. my kids really enjoyed it. the lazy river is exciting. the falling coconut also thrilling. next to lobby got swimming pool. need to wear swimming attire. the beach currently under construction. previously in 2014, the beach is very beautiful. I believe the beach will become more beautiful after the construction.

It's a wonderful experience! I had 2 nights stay with my friends and we really enjoyed every moments here. Had a chance to meet and greet Mr Vijaayanathan, the resort manager. He is a very humble and friendly person. The room is big, wide and comfortable. They have many different apartments to choose from that fulfill every needs. Food is great. Very good hospitality services. Such a great experience overall. A perfect place to rest your mind, body and soul

New year with family we spend time here.. Nice place.. Beach and the water pool activities feels good.. Morning breakfast different level.. The taste all typical Indian foods.. the briyani we ordered in room delivery also nice.. Overall nice place.. So big parking but always parking full..

Great value. The hotel is more old fashioned since it's built in the 90s but everything is clean and well maintained, with comfortable and spacious room. Good place for a weekend getaway. Beach is decent, well maintained and clean too. There's a mini waterpark for the kids, and good swimming pools for adults. Due to the monsoon season, it can be windy and rainy during February.

Took us 3.5hrs drive from KL. Resort is clean and has lots of facilites and things to do. Its beach facing so the water sports and swimming was nice. Live the huge bird cage. Food is very good.

The resort and the rooms are very old but well maintained. However, a renovation to look more modern could be something they can look for. The resort has its own water park, so it's good for a family to spend a weekend here.

Even though it's a budget resort, the amenities are quite various. There's plenty of restaurants at and outside the resort. The waterpark is easily the best but it does get crowded during the holidays.

The resort is okay for fun within the water park and it's location right on the beach, the staff is cooperative and there are plenty of food options in the restaurants it houses. The only flip side is it could have been slightly more cleaner. Also, no point booking for your kids (if any) as you need to pay extra for their breakfast, swimming pool and water park access anyways (nominal charges)

I'm woken up at 715am again (in fact for the past two days too) by the lawn mower. This is probably the biggest con in staying here. Otherwise room is spacious though a little old. Would have been better if proper body foam and shampoo were provided. No hand towel to dry your hands too. The whole feel is more like a chalet than a hotel so do come with the right expectations. Kids enjoyed the beach and water park. Breakfast buffet has a good variety but a lot of flies eating with you. Will come again for the good prices and big rooms!

quite good experience and enjoy my stay. we booked 3 bedroom suite. check in smooth and pleasant. this 3 bedroom suite is nice and satisfied with the facilities. only signage to the block is a bit not clear. Our stay was onThursday night to avoid the crowd. checked in time did not see crowd, but the next day we found so many people are staying this hotel, especially buffet time the crowd is there. overall this hotel is recommended and worth to stay, not like some review which make us worry before our stay.

Rooms were built in traditional style and are beginning to look old. But the amenities and staff make up for it. Breakfast has a lot of Asian food with few continental options. The water park is the highlight. One can just go and buy everything he/she needs at outside price.

Went to the waterpark since swimming pool at Lotus Seaview was under maintenance. Fully packed with people. Kids sure enjoyed the place. I recommend leave earlier than 12pm or later than 1pm. Else you will stuck in a long jam to out.

We had our church camp here in Dec 2023 and it was a great experience. Right from the start the resort was very responsive, helpful and accommodating. They were willing to accommodate to our request event at the very last minute. The room size is huge and comfortable. Food was nice and they change the menu daily. The multi purpose hall could accommodate a few hundred pax and we had lots of space to run our activities indoor as well as outdoor. There were also lots of attractions about 30minutes or so from the resort such as Desaru Fruit Farm, Firefly, crocodiles farm, ostrich farm which also made our trip fun. Madhu is our resort coordinator and I really enjoy working with her and the team. Very professional and responsive and I highly recommend this place especially if you are planning for a big group. Well done.

We were very satisfied with our stay in Lotus Desaru Resort. We were first greeted and served by Mr Faris at the reception counter. The staffs, the guards were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and big for 4 of us. We loved the sliding at the water park♥️

Second time here. excellent service by the staffs. Not much to offer in terms of breakfast due to the restrictions from the new norm. But I guess it's the same for other hotels. You can see the staffs are trying their best to provide best service they can offer, everyone- even the security guards would greet you if bumped into them. Pleasant experience overall, hope to come again soon.

Overall a good stay and great value. Kids loved water park. The room was old but everything that we needed was inside. Our first room had a strong paint smell but the staff helped us find another room. Only real complaint was that it was too crowded (public holiday weekend). Long lines for breakfast and hard to find seating. Maybe better off-peak.

Check-in took more than one hour to wait The room is clean but quite old, many things do not function well, and no shampoo and shower gel. room is loft design, beware if you bring small kids in. Breakfast overall ok, a lot of tables available Parking is full, 1st day hard to get parking.

As someone who first been there in 2013 & made returning visits on December 2023, I was disappointed that there were no more night zumba at the field anymore. There were lots of changes have been made I wish you carried old entertainment you did for the guests like before. the place completely just bored as hell now 😔 overall, places still good, foods somehow just so-so, you guys could go eat outside instead. if you dont bought the breakfast pass, you have to pay RM30 for adult and RM15 for child breakfast pass.

The best place to enjoy with family. Clean & well maintain & also good customer services. The breakfast tasty.. My kids love the water splash & slide.. & their amazed with all the birds inside ur big cage,so pretty & clean. So many activities too especially at night.. I would definitely bring my family here again ☺️

One of the places that has all facilities in one area. Very affordable price, cheap ticket entrance for water splash. If you booked the room, you got a free entrance ticket. Even if you need to pay still So cheap for RM10/kid and RM21/adult for all days that you're there. My family enjoyed it so much.

The place was decent but it was quite old. Still, everything was kept in order and it seems like they manage the place quite well. Just don't expect fancy hotel equipment and furnishing. I rented the 3 bedroom and it was quite spacious. There's a bathtub in the main bathroom, decent sized fridge, and a dining area. Also there's unifi TV, not that you'll need it since you'll be having fun in the pool and at the beach. Water park for kids is located in Block A. If you're staying at the middle section of the complex, it's easier if you walk. But if you live far from block A, you better take the tram.

I have bad experience, swimming pool unable to use if wear t-shirt even white also cannot, just let the pool empty and management should be more sensitive for other religion (aurat). I ask for pool towel for my kids, the pool attendant ask for fees of RM10, after I have quarrel then they give towel for free. What policies is that, I'm a room guest need to pay for pool towel? Cafe can dine in for lunch and dinner but not for breakfast, bf only pack food and send to the room with very limited variety for RM35/pax. Request assistant to open the safe box that already lock before I use it, no one came untill I want to go out for my dinner, I call again and tell them not to enter my room already late. But what impress me is your kind staff housekeeping and security that are quite friendly. Thanks.

Lovely place right beside the beach. Buildings were old but well maintained. Large car parks areas. Affordable pricing. Lots of people in the resort beach and sea activities. Lotus restaurant service is below average food serving is slow due to large crowds. Tried their crab but little disappointed due to crab size very small no meat so not worth it. Recommended to try their seafood Thai Tom yum soup, it's the best dish for us.

The stay overall wasn’t enjoyable, there are many things that could have been better, starting with their service. The room was dirty, smell funky and stale and service was poor. Although it’s a 4 star hotel, it doesn’t seem to be that. Won’t come back.

1st time here and I booked 3 bedroom suite. The property was quite outrun and old. Unpleasant smell from bed and pillow. Need upgrading. So crowded on school holiday even though on weekdays time and really worry Covid SOP. Will no second time for me. Sorry to say that.

The best resort at Desaru beach in terms of beauty, accommodation, facilities and food. It's a perfect place to conduct group seminars and gatherings. Also ideal for family vacation. Kids will love playing at the water park, which is quite fun for adults. A slow walk on the white sandy beach in the evening is lovely. Great spot to watch sunrise too.

Enjoyed our stay here. The kids love the Splash Park so much. But we cannot swim in the sea because of the big wave during the monsoon. Various types of food during breakfast. Suitable for family day or team building events.

The view and environment absolutely nice. Tooooo many people 😏 but anyway just fine. Need to arrange your time so that you are not in crowded. The room not so clean. The mattress and pillow got unpleasant smell. Microwave not function but asked housekeeping to change it, and they give the new one. The waterpark pool so crowd with people and kids. The staff manage for breakfast is so nice, they seperate the big family to other ballroom so we have some space 😌 The overall SOP.. Idk... Like not so applied ??? hmmmmm....... Anyway we have good times there.

I would say comfy places for family friendly facility. Very good hospitality services The room so wide and more than enough for more than 2 people. The breakfast provided are good and nice Have wide variety of foods and drinks But for me the price for outdoor activities like banana boat and ATV a bit pricey. Other than that it was good place for family day or for by yourself. The view depends on what room you get, as I got level 5 and room near the beach the view was great. The hotel block a bit far and some time you got block far from waterpark or lobby dont worry they have "taxi services"

Perfect get away for us as a WHOLE family. Well what was there not to like. - breakfast was great and a huge variety - they had more than enough parking. -staff was great and always helpful. -shops and spa was a great. -water park was awesome for us with a young kid. -value for money food. I ordered a Briyani and had to eat it over 2 meals. -daughter loved the games section and the night time playing in the grass. -beach was clean and nice. had myself some long walks. -jet ski was good. What might be improved!!! -bath tub was great but water pressure and lack of warm water was a hassle and it took so long to get just enough water for my daughter. maybe consider an electric pump & heater.

I heard this resort has over 1600 rooms. Even though it is a huge resort, it is quite well and efficiently managed. This place is like a carnival especially for family with kids. The restaurants also serve very good food at affordable prices. It you're looking for a medium budget trip to a beach resort, Lotus Desaru is the place to be.

Simply a good place to rest and relax. We came here to celebrate a birthday function of a close family friend after a gap of 10 years. Enjoyed our stay in a 2 bedder room 0n 27/8 & 28/8. Check in and check out was smooth . We had sea food dinner at the resort. Value for money esp dinning facing the sea front. Buggy ride provided to charter to the various facilities within the resort. Overall the 2 short stay was a breather for us. Moreover. It was also good day as Man Utd beat the Saints 1-0.

Spent a weekend there with kids. The building is old but considered well maintained. The resort is huge but luckily they provide shuttle service. There are many rooms there, hence it is quite crowded but overall we really enjoy our stay there. The water park is quite nice for kids too. We are lucky that we didn't get a room that is near the water park, so the surrounding is quiet.

All ok there. Reception crew is very effective and friendly. It’s a superb place for company group activities. Can get costly for families as they charge every activity extra ; so hope they become a bit more family budget focused ; offering additional free stuff for kids. Food is average , rooms kept simple clean but a bit outdated.

A great place for family stay especially with kids. The hotel has everything in it with bird cage, splash park with slides, swimming pool, fun fair and all sort of recreational activities like children ATV, ping pong, bubbles soap. Beach too! The price is affordable which include all of the above and morning breakfast. Morning breakfast are mainly local food but are delicious and has a good varieties. The room is old and outdated, but importantly it is clean with working airconds. Room, maybe is time to do some upgrading.

Value for money with lots of activities for the kids. Lazy river was a hit with the kids. Good breakfast buffet. Site is big % spread out, meaning a bit of walking to get to places and there is a buggy you can catch from the reception. Room & facilities are clean and maintained though dated. Minimal toiletries are provided. Steep path down to the beach.

Vibe is fun for whole family with lots of activities available. Water park is kinda of small and crowded, maybe bcz i went during long weekends. Room is old, but is clean.
