👍👍 I must say, the broth is really thick and flavourful. Most soup out there is just diluted and some is even tasteless. Ordered XL Prawn and it's fresh and meaty. Pork ribs are soft to bite and succulent. However, being a tourist spot the queue can be super long, be warned. The price is also slightly... I must say, the broth is really thick and flavourful. Most soup out there is just diluted and some is even tasteless. Ordered XL Prawn and it's fresh and meaty. Pork ribs are soft to bite and succulent. However, being a tourist spot the queue can be super long, be warned. The price is also slightly higher than other places, but to me, it's still worth it because of how good it is.

Excellent place that will satisfy any prawn noodle craving you may have. Place is bright and airy, friendly crew does a great job keeping the place clean, ensuring a pleasant experience. Price is reasonable too, small size comes with 3 decently sized half prawn and 3 big pieces of pork rib.

Terrible attitude from the staff particularly the lady who operates the cash register. Rude and just plain ignorant, talking behind my back in cantonese about me. I asked for a soup refill and she told her staff to give me only a small serving. Picture attached is the amount of soup I got from the refill. I don’t recommend anyone to come to this establishment.

For sure one of the best prawn noodles in the area and maybe even Singapore! 🙃 Jumbo prawns with yellow noodles (number 2) is super tasty and great value at S$11. It’s popular so if you are coming around lunchtime expect to wait a bit for a table. But it’s well worth the wait and you’ll be back for sure! One thing to note is that it’s CASH ONLY and you’ll struggle to find an ATM nearby. So make sure you’ve got some cash handy when you visit

This place legit met my expectation. Soup was so “prawny” in a good way and the combo of pork ribs and prawns was a huge surprise. Cheap coffee and other drinks as well. For me, it was an amazing hangover dish

I revist the shop hope to rejoy the long lost flavour. But I was a little disappointed with the broth after having it.. Well..I believe there are better prawn noodles available in Singapore. But walking around the arab street was pleasant after the meal.

We came here a while back to try their famous prawn mee along with the ribs. It was indeed very good and the broth is interesting. I’m not a huge fan of prawns in the shell being in a soup because I find them messy and irritating to eat, but it is a tasty dish. You can also get it just with the ribs if you want. They also have different kinds of noodles to choose from. Worth a try if you happen to be in the area, and you can pick up side dishes from other stalls, as well.

Super shiok prawn mee here. $7 for a bowl of pork ribs & prawn mee. My usual order is for the dry prawn mee with a little chili. They marinate the noodles well and the soup is so flavorful. Uncle here is very nice, just let him know how many of you are dining in and he will help you find nice seats

At the time I visited Blanco Court Prawn Mee, I did not know it played a role in Singapore's history and is considered a tourist favorite. I stumbled upon BCPM because it was close to my hostel. I noticed that they were always busy and the noodles looked delicious. I also noticed that they were the busiest during breakfast. Unlike in the States, I wouldn't reach for noodles first thing in the morning, but when traveling everything is on the table. The noodles were amazing! I see why it is hyped up so much. I enjoyed every bit of the dish and the broth is astounding. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and I cannot wait to go back during mu next visit to Singapore!

Not the strongest tasting prawn soup out there, but delicious nonetheless. Probably good for breakfast/brunch where a super strong flavoured soup will be too much. The Wu Xiang is a good accompaniment for the prawn noodles.

Throughly enjoyed my medium sized bowl of prawn and pork ribs. It’s slightly pricey, being $9.5 for a bowl - but all in all the ingredients were fresh, pork ribs were really cooked well, and the broth reminded me of some prawn noodles I had as a kid. I really enjoyed it 👍🏻

Amazing prawn noodles!!! The soup is really awesome. Here is one of the most famous prawn noodle restaurants. You can eat here and then enjoy Haji Lane street. Surely try lime juice together.

First time eating here after seeing many people raving about this place. I’ve had better prawn mee. This is not that great, dry version comes with a bowl of soup which is extremely small serving and you can’t refill it. 1 bowl so small, and you can finish it with just 3 spoons. Noodle is way too dry. Very Stingy. Other places gives generous serving of soup. Not worth it for $6.50

I have always been wanting to try this. During the covid period can see it’s always empty but now seems to be busy and crowded. I went just slightly after the lunch crowd perhaps and was lucky to get. Sadly, it was nothing special to me. I got the number 2 on the menu which was suppose to be jumbo prawn… but only half a prawn was somehow bigger. The rest was normal size to me. The normal prawn noodle from ion food court or some other food court is even nicer than this in terms of the noodle and also soup. The pork lard wasn’t fragrance also. I might just visit for a normal bowl of prawn noodle but definitely not one of the nicest!

Went during non-peak during the afternoon, and there wasn't any crowd. Ordering was swift, and food was served rather promptly. Order both the noodles and ngoh hiang. The pork ribs big prawn noodles cost $12, and the broth was rich and fragrant. There were hints of prawn taste in the soup, the prawns were fresh and crunchy, and they came of the shell with ease. The pork ribs were meaty and not too fatty. The ngoh hiang did not have the overly oily feel. All the items were seasoned just right, and the chilli sauce complimented the fried assortment. It's a really solid bowl of piping hot prawn noodles, one of the best in Singapore.

Been coming here for many years, at least twice a month, even though I live a stone’s throw from the other outlet at east coast road. They are close in taste, pricing and service, but this outlet Blanco Court Prawn Noodles is better on all 3 counts than the Beach Road Prawn Noodles at East Coast Road. The order and delivery system is quick and organized. Price has increased lover the pandemic years and prawns shrank a little, but overall, this is still my most favorite prawn noodle in Singapore. I get 6 half prawns for dry Bee Hoon Mee with small soup (refillable). The chili is fresh tasting and infused with freshly cooked onion oil. The soup has deep umami and natural sweetness. We always complement our prawn noodles with Ngor Hiang, which is a separate shop that was set up to tide people over while waiting for the prawn noodles to arrive. But lately my prawn noodles have arrived before the ngor hiang. 🤣. Good coffee stall which serves lime juice to complete the meal.

Went on a Sat around brunch timing and the place was packed! Clearing of tables were pretty fast and the staff would signal to you on where to sit. Do take note of the table number as you will need it when you order! Waited about 10 - 15 minutes for the Prawn & Pork Ribs Noodle (S$7). Soup was super flavourful and is refillable (i think). Opted for the dry option and it wasn’t amazing. Really like the pork ribs though as it was so soft and fell off the bone easily. Nothing amazing about the prawns as well. Portion was decent. Definitely can try this place if you’re in the area but I’ve had better prawn noodles at a cheaper price at other areas…

It’s been a while since we’ve been back to satisfy our prawn noodles cravings. Quality of the food is still solid and while prices have gone up, the portions are still decent. The only challenge is getting parking nearby and sometimes inconsiderate patrons who leave a mess of shells and bones behind… but the staff are swift to clear the tables and the queue moves very quickly. Will definitely return!

Decent shrimp and jumbo prawn noodles. I'd say it's typically more expensive and wouldn't be classed as cheap. $12.80 for the Jimbo prawn noodles and $7 for normal prawn noodles. You can see the size difference in the picture, they tasted the same so it's up to you whether you want more meat but if you want cheaper just stick to the normal prawns. 🦐 It is delicious and the prawns tasted fresh. The broth was flavourful and there are two different noodles so there's a great texture. I wouldn't say it's spectacular but if you're in the area it's a why not try. 🍋 Lime juice for $1.80 was delicious though. Really quenched our thirst from the heat and salty broth👌 👯 We went around 10am and it wasn't busy at all, many free tables and no queue. 💵 Oh and it's CASH ONLY. We popped to the ATM opposite the street at Park Royal hotel (as someone in the hotel for it as it's all the way back in the Plaza that's connected).

Over hyped place for a prawn noodle soup in SG. The soup is not as thick. It is a clean tasting prawn noodle. However the ingredients given are very generous, prawn and pork ribs are good

    1) Queue to order 2) sit down 3) they deliver to you. Queue is long. Prawn mee is one of the best, soup is flavourful and refillable. Prawn is fresh. Gor hiang is optional but still good. Place is not air condition but not stuffy. Expect loads of tourist from coaches. 20201224 You scan, they allocate a seat to you, you queue, you order and state your table number, you pay, they sebd to your table, you eat and go. Standard has drop. Noodles has no taste. Gor hiang is still good. Soup is refillable but making you walk up and down but that small bowl is a good exercise.

First time visit and it’s my last time. $9 for medium bowl with 3 small prawns, cut it into halves looks more only but tasteless. Noodle overcooked, soggy, sweet taste and not spicy at all. Broth is good but pathetic portion in small bowl and half filled. River South $6 prawn noodle with bigger prawn and broth taste much better. Food - Overhyped, only the little broth is good but nothing to shout about. Disappointed noodle and prawn. DO NOT order dry noodle. Value for money - Definitely no. Ambience - Dusty as ongoing construction work right beside it.

Fresh prawn, not smelly at all with its thick prawn soup. Yummy! I ordered the $12.80 Jumbo Prawn with Pork Ribs Noodles (mixed). Pro tip, get the dry one, they added the chili sauce, and youll get the soup anw, so you can enjoy the dry version and then add the soup later if you’d prefer the soup one. :) but must finish the soup! Soup so good! Size is just nice.

It's been a while since we satisfied our prawn noodle cravings at this place. The food quality remains excellent, and although prices have increased, the portions are still decent. The soup retains that distinctive quick prawn and pork broth taste. The main challenge lies in finding nearby parking, but personally, I don't mind parking a bit farther, just a 5-minute walk, as it allows me to indulge in some window shopping at Haji Lane. Patrons are not required to clean up after their meals, which is convenient since the staff swiftly clear tables, and the queue moves efficiently. Wu Xiang complements the dish remarkably well. While the stall might mix up orders occasionally, it's tolerable.

I recently visited this place after seeing it on Running Man. I tried both their dry and soup options, and I must say, both were equally good. The one with jumbo prawns costs around $12, but it's totally worth it for the fresh prawns! You can also get the normal one if you are not going for the prawns.

Crowded with long queue but turnover was pretty fast so did not have to wait too long. Prawn noodles was very good, prawn was nice and bouncy, and the soup was clean tasting.

The shop is at the end of haji lane. Ordered jumble prawn noddle, the prawns are fresh and juicy, and it’s actually a mix of rice noddle and normal yellow noddle. Soup is the highlight, I drink it all. Overall it’s nice, but the noddle itself is a bit plain.

It's a coffee shop setting that is clean with well ventilation. The food is served promptly and is delicious. There is no vegetarian option however, you may opt to choose from the stall besides it. Parking space is limited, only along the road. Come early for a table else you need to queue.

  • 4/5 L S. 10 months ago on Google
Ordered both dry and soup versions and would recommend the soup one instead. They're very organized and systematic with their queue system so there's no worry about trouble finding a table. Loads of Korean and China tourists so you might want to go early or later to beat or miss the crowds. Important point to note if you're parking along Baghdad Street on Sunday. Watch for a VERY SMALL and INSIGNIFICANT sign about no parking that no one would ever notice from 12pm onwards or risk being fined, obviously being mentioned from a bad experience.

Good prawn noodles and ngoh hiang. Prefer this version than the other Beach Rd prawn noodles as this soup is flavourful but doesn't make me thirsty afterwards. Can be quite busy during meal times with a lot of office workers so try to go during non peak hours if possible.

Went for lunch , got bowl of semi thick been Hoon soup with prawns and pork ribs. $9.80 for medium serving Pork ribs is tender but lacked flavour. Highlight is the prawn broth soup , nice has the right thickness and intense prawn 🦐 flavour .

I’ve been eating here for more than 10 years. I like the soup version, add pig skin n jumbo prawns with thick beehoon. A lot of old timer places have their soup watered down but this is still good! It ain’t cheap but it sparks joy. Add on Ngoh Hiang from next door, it’s yummy too!

  • 5/5 Ben L. 9 months ago on Google
Awesome old school tastes. Soup is so wonderfully made. Generous servings at super good price point! This is /the/ prawn mee standard for many Singaporeans over the years. So consistent even after many years. The decor is unpretentious, just a very spacious empty lot where food speaks for itself. So good!

The real deal prawn noodles. Remember to add the dried chilli powder (look like Paprika) into the noodles which its adds a whole new level to the flavour. Good value for money. Excellent service from staff. And try Ngoh Hiang (Fried up) is a must.

Lovely umami broth no doubt about that but in a tiny bowl. Nice and tender pork ribs. The jumbo prawns were not that big for $12. The regular sized prawns were small but ok for half the price. Noodles and chilli were standard. Pity to have only a few strands of bean sprouts and no greens. I would say this is standard fare prawn noodles done decently well but certainly not the best.

Soup base shiok. Soup is the star of the show I must say. I ordered dry version: Noodles on the dry side like healthy version not much oil. Prawns are expected to be fresh for the price and it is. How I wish more soup can be given. Anyway must try... The fried WuXiang is very crispy and nice to try as well. Thumbs up Well organise and well ventilated coffeeshop. Insta: ju.rine

Came to visit Haji Lane in Singapore. Once we arrived by Grab, we were outside infront of Blanco’s famous prawn mee. The noodles are light and flavorful. The highlight is their broth, it’s what makes their noodles so good. Come early if you do not want to wait in the que. We arrived at 10am and there was no line. We came back at 12pm and there was a long line of atleast 20 people in a que. A must try if you are in Haji Lane!

Went on a Saturday around 2pm. Crowded but no long queue. Got the jumbo prawn noodles for $12. Get a table before ordering because the cashier needs your table number. Then you sit and wait for your noodles to be served. Broth is rich and tasty. Prawns are fresh. Highly recommended. There's a stall selling 五香 and stuff.

Probably one of the best place for prawn mee! Prawns are half peeled easy to eat and still can taste the sweetness and freshness of the flesh. Noodles are nicely cooked, just nice 1 pax portion. Mix together with the chilli very delicious. Soup are rich with prawn taste and are refillable for free. I ordered the big prawn one - $12. There are other options too with price ranging ~$6. Price reasonable and the dining area is comfortable quite clean. Overall a good dining experience will definitely come back again!!

Has been a long long time I last come here to eat the prawn noodle. As usual, very crowded, please expect to Q. Located near Arab street, wow the place has changed so much.. lots of beautiful graffiti and concept shop and cafe! Definitely Feel like tourist for a moment.

Simple, no-frills, tasty. I got the jumbo prawn and pork rib combo ($12) and it was honestly not that jumbo, so I would recommend that size for most. I personally prefer different styles of noodle but the broth was very tasty. I’d never had the pork ribs before but they’re great and add a lot of flavour to the dish. Next time I will request extra sprouts as there didn’t seem to be many in the bowl. For people unfamiliar with the system, you need to be assigned a table first and then go up to the counter to order.

One of the best prawn noodle for me. The broth is rich and unami, the prawn is always fresh, what's best is they will halved for you so it is super convenient and easy to peel the shells. Personally I like the dry version because I like their chili and eating the noodle with crispy pork lard and fried shallot is really perfect blend. And you still given then soup! YUM~

  • 5/5 Kenny Y. 1 year ago on Google
$7 for the bowl with prawns and pork ribs. I enjoyed it because the pork ribs is pretty tender. Soup is also full of flavor to me. Definitely request to add the pork lard which is always Shiok to have with prawn noodles. Utensils and bowl can be pretty oily so best to bring some wet or dry tissue along! Also, I came around 930am on a Friday morning and it was already pretty packed (no queue but a lot of occupied seats already, mostly tourists)

This humble prawn noodle stall makes the thickest prawn broth I’ve ever tried. This has to be my best-kept secret, and it’s the first thing I’ll have coming back from overseas. On top of being conveniently located near Bugis MRT, this warm bowl of this prawn noodles never fails to warm my heart.
