What a wonderful place to shoot photos and hike or do a little bit of cycling. Amazing views and so peaceful. Singapore is full of beauty and this place is another great example.

Came here on a Sunday morning and it wasn’t too crowded. The greenery is really very beautiful and the road is paved nicely for walking/ cycling. It really feels like you’re in a forest. Only downside is that there is construction going on for a project under OBS which stands out like a sore thumb amidst the nature. Other than that, 100% recommend coming here as an outdoor activity!

A small natural island (with quite a bit of sandlflies). The beach water is muddy so might want to think twice when playing in the water. Nice for a morning walk. The place opens from 7am to 7pm!

The corners of Coney 🏝 *West Entrance is closed but there is an alternate route on the left side, they are constructing Outward bound Singapore on the site* its quite sad because it’s a big space that they took but still there’s some part that makes you feel the breeze especially at dawn.

A cute little island where you can get away from the city life. You won't find too many people here, so you'll be able to secure a beach spot for yourself. You can of course also go bike riding along the inside of the island. I would heavily recommend you come from the west side entrance of the park. Unfortunately many parts of the beach have washed up trash and although there are efforts to clean this up, some parts of the island are very unappealing. Also, note that many parts of the east side are under construction and that you will not find a public toilet on the island (other than perhaps a dirty portable one).

Serangoon Island also known as Coney Island is a great place to cycle and be in nature. You can cruise along the cycling routes, take a nice long stroll or chill near the sandy beach. Do remember to bring a water bottle and some insect repellent!

Perfect location for a nature get-away. Strolling within Coney Island brings us closer to Mother Nature and away from the concrete city. We were lucky to chance upon Otters and Monitor Lizards too!

Conducted a couple's shoot at Coney Island at the request of the client and it was an absolute joy to shoot at such a unique location. The unconventional setting filled with nature, paved the way for a more secluded, intimate vibe. The lighting was also unique in the sense that the sun filtered sparsely through the dense canopy and the sunset there was absolutely magical. It truly takes you out of the conventional Singapore landscape and immerses you in a unique , rural environment. For the photographers, I recommend hitting golden hour at the wooden obstacle course near the entrance. Having your subject backlit by the sun peeking through the trees looks amazing and the obstacle course enables interesting composition ideas and spontaneous posing opportunities.

If you have an afternoon to spend and want to take advantage of a sunny day, Coney Island is a good bet. Just be careful of going to the west entrance through Google Maps. There is ongoing construction so there is no way to pass through the entrance. You should put in "the Punggol Settlement" in Google maps and park there and walk from there to the Coney Island west entrance. We saw most of the island within 2.5 hours. Sunscreen, water, insect spray, and some snacks are highly recommended.

Amazing greenery and unique plants. I really enjoyed taking a stroll in the Coney Island as everything was very fresh and breezy. You could feel the salty sea breeze lifted your hair. It was not that crowded and seemed very calm. A serene place with amazing atmosphere. I really enjoyed the flora and fauna of this place. I saw beautiful butterflies of every colour, variety and pattern. The signages were clear and had plenty of information on them. The pathways were wide and smooth. If you want to cycle there is trails for that too. Along with that there are bicycle rental shops. The beach was a little dirty but it had an amazing view of Malaysia. You could sit and enjoy the view of the beach and Malaysia. Remember to bring an umbrella, as the weather can change very quickly. It may be sunny one moment and then the next it can be pouring. You could also have picnics if you want to by bringing food and a mat. There are shelters in case you get tired. There are also a lot of eateries nearby in case you get hungry after your stroll. Overall, a great place to wander and have fun.

Three paths available and well paved for both runners and cyclists. A piece of nature detached from the main land, and you can even sit at the breakwater side and feel the sea breeze. Not much amenities or benches around though. Very rustic. Opens 7am to 7pm

One of the rate places in Singapore where most of the natural habitat is still maintained. If you're cycling, use a mountain bike as the terrain could get bumpy and you won't want to deal with a flat tyre in the middle of nowhere

Coney Island is a quiet getaway for weekdays. I recommend going on weekdays as it can get quite crowded during the weekends. It's a perfect little mass of land for long walks, bicycle rides and of course, observing nature. You can find all kinds of animals in Coney Island. Mainly macaques and there was a brown cow in Coney Island but it has passed. (I've attached a picture of it.) It's a shame I never got to see it as many believe it was Singapore's last freely roaming cow that you could come across. Please do not bring plastic bags into the island as it attracts monkeys. You also can find small little idols of deities placed in the beaches of Coney Island, please admire from a distance! There's also an infamous villa that is located in the deep forests of Coney Island called "Haw Par Beach Villa" or something. Never seen it myself but I've attached some pictures for reference. Enjoy the island and remember to clean up after yourselves!

Entered the island from the West entrance. On the day we visit, there were alot of monkeys and we were warned by the park rangers prior to entering. the walk in the island was nice and sheltered by the trees. Only downside was that there were construction going on for outward bound Singapore. So had to take a detour to get lorong halus and the East entrance. Highly recommended to cycle to the island than walk.

One of the rare place in Singapore with a wild beach with sand and coconuts stretching 2 km. I advise you go when tide is low so that you can enjoy and walk all through the beach. Otherwise you find more a conventional trial in the middle of its forest of pines for hiking or bicycling. You generally see a group of monkey while crossing the island or at its north west entrance. Note: The island is closed at night time.

A beautiful place to be lost in. This nature park is simply amazing! It is like exploring and venturing into a small forest, except that the flora and fauna that you can find here is unlike any you can find in the other parts of Singapore. There is also a small beach at the corner of the island where you can just chill. Be careful of sandflies though! There are many monkeys around, especially near the entrance, so take good care of your belongings and avoid eating in front of the monkeys if you don’t want any trouble!

Best to arrive from Punggol Point LRT, takes 10mins to walk to Coney Island. More construction work in progress. So a third of the island is closed from public access. Once it's ready, I believe this will be worth 5 stars. A great location for walking, cycling and running. New MRT station Punggol Coast under construction. Once ready, this will be nearer to Coney Island.

Good to see a place close to nature in Singapore. Totally untouched by any commercial aspects. Free entry. Beach in natural form. No shops or eateries inside this Island as well. You would find seafood restaurants and a 7-11 along with a Indian restaurant before walking towards Coonie Island. Coonie Island is also known as Serangoon North. Bus 84 from Ponggal MRT helps you to get near to this place with some 10-15 walking. Cycles and tricycle available for rental incase you need one. Do remember to keep your self hydrated and take your hat, glasses and sunscream lotion along ☺️?

Coney Island, 500m from the punggol settlement promenade walk, which is also known as Serangoon Island, is located in the Northeastern part of Singapore, and is separated from the mainland by the Serangoon River.Coney Island is great for a half-day hiking or biking, and getting away from the city

A superbly natural island with trees and vegetation maintained in their natural occurrence. If a visitor wishes one way walking tour, it's better to enter from East Entrance (unless you have your own bike). If one is looking for rented biking experience through the island paths, West Entrance (Punggol side) is the one best suitable. This side also has a small shopping arcade with restaurants, restrooms, etc., even shower facilities. East Entrance has no facilities (except one restroom at entrance) and the whole island has been kept without any tuckshop or vending machines, unlike Pulau Ubin. Nevertheless, a must visit if you have half a day to spare for loneliness in nature.

Serangoon Island or popular by Coney Island. Entrance by Lorong Halus or New Punggol Rd. By walk or bicycle. Parking near New Punggol Available but at Jalan Halus not so sure. Advice no to carry plustic back or food someone is watching you 🐒. Good for family picnic. Try to carry stick when you walk alone when not many people around the Island. Fantastic view inside the Island and Johor shore. No toilet around make sure do it before you enter the Island. Sunrise view is fantastic 🌅, If you go during low tide, you will enjoy original beach. but not high tide. Hope ENV to build Toilet. No fishing allowed and look for open/ close time. I like to suggest one of the my foto convert to swimming canal for kids. Just fill the sand and remove big stone. During hightide they can swimming there.

Aka Coney Island. Very peaceful and untouched (almost), the way nature should be. Main road that cut across the island is mainly gravel, so if you're cycling, either beef up your shock absorbers or ride your least favourite bike.

Reaching the entrance can be a bit confusing, so check properly and go. A good place to have a peaceful outing (walking, cycling, relaxing). If one carries food, they need to be careful as monkeys are waiting and watching you all the way (I and my friend was attacked by a huge group of monkeys in the middle of the island, and we had to throw in all the food that we got). Best Part: There are mini beach spots where one can sit and relax, watch the waves hit the shores.

Nice place in the north-east of SG for nature walk/hike/cycle. Recommend to come in proper covered shoes and sports attire as the journey from one end of the island to another will take at least 30-60min, depending on your walking speed. Rubbish bin limited and only at 2 entrance/exit of the island, so bring along a plastic bag and don't anyhow litter. For dog owners, beware of ticks and stray dogs roaming on the island.

One of the preserved nature park in Singapore. Nice way to go for a nature walk and if you are lucky, you might spot a family of wild boars.

Incredible place to cycle along the sea. Inner parts aren't really as nice due to the rocky terrain, but you come for the rural feel. A must to cycle when going around the Punggol park connector!

A pretty nice place for walking and cycling. [Scenery] Not the best scenery you can get in Singapore compared to the other nature parks, but still a decent one. [Distance] Fairly easy for both walking & cycling, it's quite a short distance from one end to another so not much to worry about. [Location] After a nice walk, you can head to Punggol Settlement for a nice meal. Make sure you bring water as there are no shops inside unless you don't mind drinking tap water :D [**BEWARE**] But do bear in mind that there are a lot, A LOT of sandflies around the beach areas so heads up for you to bring an insect repellent if you want to go anywhere near there.

Great for family activities and gatherings. Remember to bring insect repellent (sandflies) and be cautious of monkey and box jellyfish. Great place to spot baby crabs!😎

Coney Island is a beautiful place to go. You can get close to nature, found some stingrays in the shallow water at beach B.

Woke up early on a Sunday morning and we decided to go for a good walk at Punggol End… No specific plan in mind, we walked & walked & ended up in Coney Island & were in time to witness the beautiful sunrise ❤️ We do not have a lot of spare land so this little red dot so the island is rather small… but the greenery along the way made our journey to the viewing deck a truly pleasant one 🥰

We were lucky to come at a weekday evening after early pm shower. So weather was cool with very comfy breeze. Can’t ask for more for short distance family leisure bike ride. Enjoy the trees, bushes, beach, trail. Even the toilet near the west entrance was surprisingly clean and modern. Will definitely come again when weather is good!
