Enjoyed the food and ambience at Real Food. Being quite a carnivore myself, I find it rather refreshing to skip some meat this time. The food is full of flavor, from pizza to burgers and even the local rojak! It’s always satisfying when my tongue touches meat... Quite amazing to have flavorsome taste in my mouth this time where there is no meat! Haha

Been here a few times. I do try to be plant-based most days if I can. They serve hearty and tasty meals that is meat-free but I would hardly call it very healthy because most items are very carb-heavy. Complex carbs in the form of vegetables are not unhealthy, but if you're trying to lose weight, eating too much carbs when you're not working out too much can really wreck your weight loss progress. It's hard to get a high protein vegetarian/plant based meal, and you probably are not going to find it here. That said, Real Food is pretty transparent with macros/nutritional information, and it's printed on the menu, so you can check out what you're really eating. If you are planning to do a cardio workout, then you can plan a meal here before your workout. Most dishes here are tasty even though they are plant-based. It's great if you are vegetarian/vegan or just doing your bit for the environment by eating less meat, but not that great if you are on a keto/high protein diet. There are gluten free options here as well.

Love the food here. There is amazing variety whether it is more Asian or western. Yet there are options for vegetarians for all kind. The kombucha iced tea was good. The menu is so much that you will probably not run out of things to try.

Love this vegetarian eatery. Amazing variety of dishes. Dumpling noodles is perfectly cooked. Tom yum soup was spicy but We love spicy food so no complaints. Server recommended sweet pumpkin pancakes. We were sceptical but it turned out nice. They also have fresh Kombucha and lemonade. Perfect to pair with this food.

Had dinner here last night with my wife and a dear friend from Sydney. The service staff (a young lady) was very good - really attentive and proactive, and she also took extra effort to mention the little details. We were delighted with the food too, and I especially liked the aubergine. The pizza was probably the weakest link for the night but it was still better than average by my standards. Overall we had a great time and will probably return for more, albeit a branch closer to home if we can find one.

The organic belachan was recommended to me on request. It looked pretty plain, although it did have a subtle but nice flavour. I have a feeling it's supposed to be eaten with something else, but upon asking a different staff member, they were unsure Nice atmosphere, quality food and fast service though.

Great vegetarian menu with lots of selection! The Egg and Potato salad was very refreshing, the mushroom carbonara and curry noodles were both flavourful and filling. The dumplings were a bit disappointing, felt a bit bland.

Food 4.5/5 It's vegetarian without the fake meats which is great how they use the mushrooms, fruits, vegetables, beans, and tofu to make something substantial. TURMERIC TEA in a pot was unexpectedly soothing. PORTOBELLO BURGER with ONION RINGS and POTATO SALAD was delightful. FRUIT ROJAK with apples, guava, pineapple, cucumber, youtiao was refreshing. 8 piece STEAMED DUMPLINGS was filling too. MATCHA RED BEAN and CINNAMON BUNS to top it off. I'll plus another star when you have ice cream on the side. 😊 Ambience 5/5 I like this place and can definitely see myself coming back here for more food. The contemporary music was just right. Service 5/5 Two servers and a lot of people but they handled it well. πŸ‘ Price: $58++ 2 pax, 7 items, 3h And I came back for really crispy πŸ‘MUSHROOM PIZZA, MUSHROOM PASTA, and tofu burger (meh). Price: $73++ 2 pax, 4 items, 1h Thanks for taking us in at closing time. And I was back for TOM YUM PIZZAπŸ‘, FRIED (not steamed) DUMPLINGS, STUFFED MUSHROOMS, always fruit rojak, more coffee and hot chocolate. Price: $102++ 3 pax, 10 items, 4h

First time here . Love the ambience and deco. The food was okay only, the plating needs to be improve. The noodles was quite disappointing. The sofa looks dirty, lots of stain. Overall hearty meal. Will come back to try other food

First time experience, and will be back. Great tasting food, efficient service and a nice space. We sat β€œoutside” in the atrium, and it’s a really pleasant place. I had the Portobello Burger - delicious. Great for a casual business lunch or catch-up with a friend.

New branch at South beach is nice and cosy. We like the fried carrot cake, very tasty, just that it was not hot enough (temperature wise) when served. Food is on the whole average but you will love the delightful service of the staff, they are all so kind and helpful!

Somewhat of a hidden gem given its not visible from the main area/roadside. Lovely ambience with great tasting fusion dishes. Price point is slightly on the higher side however service staff is especially friendly and nice. The only β€œdownside” was that water was charged per bottle. P.S - use Chope vouchers to enjoy 15% (iirc)

Wanted a nice spot to do some work while noshing on plant-based food! Even though the restaurant was empty when I arrived (around 3pm on a Monday) the staff was still chirpy and promptly showed me to a table. I’ve had Real Food before in other locations and am delighted that they’ve kept the quality here as good as the others! Was feeling like a cheeky fried treat and went for the portobello burger. Mushroom was so juicy, flavourful and coated in a thin crunchy tempura layer. Onion rings here are PROPER thick juicy ones! The fried cauliflower was perfectly lightly spiced. Coffee wasn’t listed on their physical menu but they have the usual options like americano, cappuccino and latte. Think they only have soy milk though as a plant-based option! A work-friendly space with delicious food, will return for sure!

Wow, what a wonderful surprise. We were heading to the restaurant next door when we saw the name of the restaurant, and being new in the vegetarian/vegan world, we looked at the menu and decided to taste it. Everything we tasted was excellent: pesto pizza, vegetable balls in tomato sauce, Chinese cabbage dumplings, the fermented sparkling drinks, fresh juices, and the chickpea and sweet potato cakes! I read some frustrations about the long service and can understand that, we didn't experience that during dinner time. Price is quite attractive.

I am a big fan of vegetarian food. To me this restaurant is decent but at the same time average. Was recommended by waitress to order their signature soup dumplings. Dumplings were great but the soup tasted exactly like my homecook. I expected more from a restaurant with such high rating. On a side note, environment was very clean and comfortable.

Chill vibe and cozy interior, just like its other branches. Food is fine but service got room to improve. Besides, the juices taste abit diluted, either too watery or not much fruit inside.

I would like to commend the staff on duty today (not sure what her name is, Jee Yang?) for going above and beyond to provide excellent service. I’ve been a Real Food regular and have kind of come to expect that there would be items out of stock (haha), but this was the first time the person taking my order let me know upfront which items these are, so you don’t get disappointed when you ask for something, only to find out it’s not available. The restaurant was clearly understaffed during the lunch peak, but the two staff on duty made good effort to attend to everyone in a timely manner. Jee Yang also helped me out with some unusual requests, which I appreciated a lot! I had the veggie bhaji burger and as always, the food was delicious and fresh. Also had the β€œfeeling good” smoothie - remains to be seen whether it will cure my depression, as purported.

Fantastic experience. Everything was on point - dishes, ingredients, taste, price, service, cleanliness and ambience. I had mushroom thin crust pizza with cheddar cheese which tasted yummy and light. 8 slices for only $16++ was so affordable. Dry tom yum noodles was tasty. The meal was so hearty and wholesome. I will be back to try more dishes.

Always a fan of their dumpling noodles! Packed with mushrooms and served with a delicious side of chilli. Must try! The food here just tastes good for your body. Service here was friendly and on the quiet side on a Friday late afternoon. Love the ambience and vibes at South Beach tower. We also had the pumpkin pancakes which had a beautiful berry compote on the side.

It's a love-hate with this Mushroom Aglio Olio. It's a little too salty for my palate, but it's flavourful. Just wish it was one notch less salty and it would have been perfect! The penne was al dente, just the way pasta should be 😍 While I appreciate the aroma from the open concept kitchen, the preparation of the meals were deafening. Note to self - Ask for the outdoor seats...

Pesto is shockingly sour and salty Cheese stuffed portobello Mushroom very overrated, was salty and the flavors did not match, sauce used for this dish was repeatedly used for other dishes as dipping sauce as well making all the dish taste similar Tom yum soup was very thick with many blended lemon grass, more like puree and overly sour Overall all the food was either too salty or too sour and all tasted the same Wouldn't pay this amount for this kind of food Friends and I all could not finish our food, and all had stomach ache due to how sour and salty the food was Good for the glam and Instagram but not for the taste Would not recommend

Clean and fresh food. Not heavy on seasoning or dressing but still palatable. Prices and portions were reasonable. Came after lunch and it was very quiet. We were served by a non-local whom we had difficulty understanding at times but she had such a sweet, polite attitude.

Beautiful vegetarian restaurant in South Beach. Everything I ordered tasted light, mild, with the Crispy Noodle being rather bland. However I cant help but thinking that maybe this is how I should eat if I don't want to catch Hypertension! Despite that it's still very easy to polish the bowl off. Veggie Bhaji is well seasoned and flavorful. Too bad the onion ring is rather bland and is not crispy. Would be interested to come back to try more.

Tried these 3 items at the restaurant: steam dumpling, grilled veg tomato pasta (grilled organic aubergines, tomatoes, capsicum, cucumber and mushroom with their homemade tomato sauce) and margherita pizza (mozzarella cheese, biodynamic tomato puree, fresh basil leaves, extra virgin oil, dried herbs and spices). The food was delicious and you will leave feeling healthy after such a hearty dinner!!

  • 2/5 Philipp S. 4 years ago on Google
The food is ok but lunch time always comes as a surprise for this restaurant: there’s never enough staff and waiting times are long for taking orders and even longer for getting food plus pizza is on the menu yet rarely on the table. Two times out of three their pizza chef must be sleeping off his Lambrusco hangover. There are more convenient places around.

  • 5/5 Mathilda C. 3 years ago on Google
Interesting and tasty too....we took the mushroom pizza, pasta with vege balls, pumpkin pancakes and a bottle of water...good stuff!
