One of the best holiday destinations if you want to decompress and melt your stress away. Amazing sea view, like you can literally roll to the beach the moment you open your door. Hammocks everywhere! Beach bars! Lovely lovely lovely friendly staff. They go above and beyond to make you happy and comfortable! The marine life is fascinating! Bring your snorkel gear or rent it. Go for the mangrove fireflies tour, absolutely therapeutic. I love the food at Spice and the kelong restaurant. When it’s dark, get your torch and go for a nature walk and spot all the wonderful creatures in the resort. Do check out the Spa! You would think someone is playing atmosphere sounds CD for the mood but it’s all natural. Everything you hear is not fake! The birds chirping , the insects the frogs everything is really happening. Love love love Mayang Sari!

Beautiful beach, spacious room and good breakfast. We didn't have lunch/dinner at the hotel tho because it's quite expensive so I can't say much about that. The staff were friendly and accommodating. There is no swimming pool but you can take a short shuttle bus (every 30 min) to the sister hotel swimming pool.

Pros: 1. property! Good location and it’s feel like we are within nature! Restaurant hospitality is good! Clean Cons: not a kids friendly reception staff, 2. Reception and desk staff are not friendly 3. Over budgets! Service tax is unnecessary 4. Stay alert on billing, they avoid to return money while billing

A charming beach resort where you're welcomed by the beach and the sun. The staff are warm and friendly and make your feel right at home.

Clean rooms, poor Wi-Fi if you get access, beautiful beaches. Note swimming pool in the area must walk 10 min to it. Dated standard on facilities. Overall expensive for such old and very used standard.

Went for quick weekend trip with family. Was a very pleasant trip as the weather was just amazing. The resort location is very nice, beach is clean, rooms are spacious with big bathroom. They have few group of resorts so you get lot of good options for food located across their group location. They have some activities options and water activity also. Cons- given resort is off city limits, you don't have access to any other shops and therefore you have buy your daily needs from their mart and the prices are 3-5 times just an example water costed me 60,000 IDR whereas in market it cost only IDR 7000. Overall resort experience was good.

The rooms are good, and the beach and setting is nice. It’s conveniently close to the jetty. However, the prices for food and drinks are high. 8 sgd for a small Bintang, 17 sgd for a Nasi Goreng. That price point comes with quality expectations that the resort fails to meet. In the end we decided not to let it hold us back but it leaves a bad taste lingering. Will definitely not come back.

Great ocean view. Loved the serenity and the exclusivity of the private beach, felt like we were the only ones there. Staff are friendly and were accommodating and prompt to attend to our requests. Room and bathroom is huge and clean, with necessities like beach towel, towel, toiletries and mineral water provided. Surprisingly the mosquitoes from the garden didn't come in. Would love to be back again!

Great place for privacy and relaxation. Beach front chalets are spacious and clean. The spa is also just behind so it’s really convenient! The food is good too!

I've been a guest here for the past 15 years, and had always liked its relative peace and quiet compared to its sister resort. However, returning after covid, sadly the charges are now way high. What makes me decide not to return is that despite occupying the family suite for 4, the entire day of water is capped at 4 in the blistering heat. We were forced to purchase a 1-litre bottle of water for ard S$6, could not get a grab ride out to anywhere (blocked) unless we pay exorbitant taxi prices, and just feel the utterly calculative approach to the resort has robbed it of all its charms. Both PRC and Singapore kids ran amok with shrill voices in the resort. So, goodbye Mayang Sari for good. Thanks for the memories but we won't be back to Bintan if we can help it Oh, and they charge for WiFi connection too.

Amazing stay at Mayang Sari. Loved the sea view, the rooms and hospitality. Friendly faces across the property- Mira at Front Desk, Yanti at Spice , Suci at Spa & with the best Indian food (even beyond menu) by Chef Deepak Bhatt. Will definitely go again! Rooms were clean and spacious.

Quiet place with rows of chalets directly facing the beach. Inside you will find bed, sofa, TV, wardrobe and a small table, two USB charging points on the wall; rest room are clean and spacious. Outside you are zero distance to the beach, palm trees and hammock. There is a minimarket and an Indian restaurant in the reception building.

Service feels genuine, as the staff greets you with a smile and very friendly manner. The ratio of people/ chalet to the amenities & beach makes me feel the exclusivity. As we arrived mid-week before the long weekend, the first few days felt like we were in a private beach. That's what I'd like to highlight about this review - lesser crowds, and staff able to give you their attentive service. Notable is Toni, who served very well for a private romantic beach dinner. Though most (rather all) does good, it's just too many names to remember. Yes, the food is pricey - but is within rates of such hotels around the area. Overall, the experience is worth for a short getaway. Another good thing, is that you can charge all expenses to your credit card (room number) - including the other restaurants outside of Mayang Sari, under the Nirwana Resorts as having not to worry about bringing a pocketful of cash.

Stayed 3D2N on a babymoon. Lovely, quiet resort with friendly service staff. Booked a Sea View Chalet with the beach just a few steps away, can even hear the faint sounds of waves crashing the shore. Not many guests at this time of the year (monsoon) so it was nice to have the beach to yourself. The room was spacious, clean and well-furnished, kimono and beach towels provided, plenty of 3pin powerpoint sockets (dont need adaptors). Spice Restaurant serves decent yummy ala carte food altho the free breakfast was average. Tried the neck, shoulder and upper back massage at the spa which was soothing and relaxing (happy that they took special concern for me w my bump). Hubby felt the thai massage was so-so tho. Took an afternoon trip to Plaza Lagoi but found out that almost all shops are closed post-Covid. But taxi driver can recommend another shopping area. Overall a pleasant stay to just relax in quiet and bliss

Mayang Sari Beach Resort is a beachfront resort located in Bintan, Indonesia. The resort offers a range of accommodation options, including garden facing and sea facing villas, all of which are equipped with comfortable furnishings. The resort is situated on a private beach, providing guests with access to crystal clear waters and white sandy shores. There are also a number of recreational activities available at the resort, including swimming, snorkeling, and water sports. For those who prefer to relax on land, there is a spa and wellness center offering a range of treatments and services. Mayang Sari Beach Resort also has a variety of dining options available, including a main restaurant serving Indian and local Indonesian cuisine, a beach bar offering drinks and light snacks, and a pool bar serving refreshing beverages. In addition to the amenities and activities offered at the resort, Mayang Sari Beach Resort is also conveniently located near a number of attractions and landmarks, including golf courses, beach clubs, and resturants. Overall, Mayang Sari Beach Resort is a great choice for travellers looking for a beachfront getaway with plenty of amenities and activities to enjoy. Not a five star experience. Cost is five star, the experience is a beachfront, private cottage.

We had lunch & dinner here. Their menu serves more to Indian cuisine but they still have Western & Asian cuisine as well such as Gado², Acheh Fried Rice, Ayam Bakar, Chicken Teriyaki, Fish & Chips and many more. Bottom line, we have to say that the menu is limited. Some of the cuisine need more improvement in taste & portion to suit its price. The Gado² was quite too little in portion. The cendol really need for immediate improvement. Using the frozen coconut milk instead of coconut milk syrup was a failure. The frozen coconut milk doesn't blend in which resulted the Condol become tasteless plus the cendol itself were not soft. The crab meat soup also taste dull and 'weird'. Pricewise, it's reasonable

Great experience. Although we managed to book garden view chalet, beach is not far away and conveniently located. We spent a good 2 nights of our weekend. Tried kayaking but water was a bit choppy, but it was a fun!

Nice beach and rooms, and verry friendly staff. Much of the resort still not opened after covid close down. Food and drinks quite overpriced!

Very hospitable staff and a very nice resort. I cannot stress on how well maintained the premises are and the folks there are extremely hospitable . Only downside is distance from the city..apart from that the place is awesome and definitely will re visit

If you want a getaway from the Singapore fast paced world, then Mayang Sari is the place to go... You can get World class service... Don't bother about the money you spend - just relax and unwind...

Just got back from my 3D/2N vacation and I'm excited to write my review for Nirwana Mayang Sari Beach. We arrived post-COVID season on a Wed, and we had the resort all to ourselves! It was really a fun experience for us because we are able to do a lot of things without the crowd woohoo! And what made our stay really great are the staffs at the entire Nirwana resort. They accommodated us with warmth and friendliness. We swam at the Mayang Sari beach, and the Nirwana Resort pool which are really well maintained and cleaned! I won't hesitate to go back next time!

Amazing place for a peaceful mind. Staff are very generous and friendly. We did spa, ate food at various places, did water sports. All worth enjoying your moment. Do meet Zul at Spice restaurant (if you’re Indian food lover). Also Muzid, for Atv riding activity.

A lovely place to stay. The ocean view is great, the staffs are kind and the room is spacious. The only downside is the coffee quality. I'll bring my coffee next time. :)

Guides did not warn us of this, and when the incident happened they were the first to rush out of the forest without telling us where to go.
