This
Butterfly
Garden
at
Singapore
Changi
Airport
Terminal
3
air
side
and
is
free
for
all
travelers.
Only
problem
is
you
have
to
find
this
as
there
are
very
few
signage,
still
ask
for
the
smoking
room
to
anyone,
and
its
very
near
to
that
and
the
second
landmark
is
its
near
to
the
Koi
Pond.
Few
says
that
it’s
the
first
butterfly
garden
in
an
airport
and
you
can
find
many
species
and
thousands
of
colorful
butterflies
and
the
star
attraction
is
two-story
grotto
waterfall.
The
entire
garden
is
two-stories
—
entrance
is
on
the
upper
floor
and
the
exit
is
placed
on
the
floor
below.
A
staircase
which
follows
along
a
waterfall
leads
from
the
second
floor
to
the
main
floor.
After
entering
the
glass
doors
and
then
passing
through
heavy
plastic
strips
curtains,
to
help
ensure
the
butterflies
don’t
escape,
you
will
reach
the
garden.
Though
it’s
not
very
big
in
terms
of
footprint,
although
with
soaring
ceilings,
giving
the
butterflies
plenty
of
altitude
to
fly,
although
most
of
course
hovered
around
the
flowers,
to
drink
the
nectar.
You
can
also
see
a
butterfly
incubator
to
showcase
the
various
stages
of
development
of
a
butterfly.
It
is
a
great
spot
to
get
away
from
the
hustle
of
an
airport
for
a
few
moments.
The
greenery,
the
waterfall,
the
beautiful
winged
creatures
and
the
fresh
air
all
seem
to
refresh
you
as
you
explore,
especially
if
you
have
young
kids
and
you
need
to
pass
some
time
waiting
for
your
boarding..
