This place is suitable for locals and tourists alike! Multiple dedicated & friendly service staff are available to answer all of your queries, from directions to attractions and hotels & suggesting itineraries based on your wants. If you're feeling like doing up itineraries yourself, there are multiple computers with a easy to use touchscreen - with a comprehensive list of things to do, see and eat. Once you've done up the itinerary, the service staff will help you print out a A3 sized paper which they'll fold nicely for you into a pocket sized map/MRT line/your list of itineraries with their contact details as a nice souvenir to take home. Upstairs, they also run Hari Raya activities from 1030am-130pm until the 25th June. In my experience, Joey personalised my experience & recommended me to visit the Peranakan museum based on my needs - and I was surely intrigued by the suggestion with her humorous touch. Tourists, VISIT THIS PLACE FIRST. Locals, come here and discover this feature-rich place and get to know more about your own country!

I never thought that the Singapore Visitor Centre would house such an unique exhibition on Singapore's local craftsmen in the arts and design space! Ranging from architecture to books to collar pins and rings that accentuate the eccentricities of our little city state, this is definitely worth a trip right now for locals and overseas visitors alike! During the day we visited we even had a nice lady who was wearing the traditional Peranakan outfit and serving us free kueks and telling us more about the indigenous heritage and culture! Do drop by for a wonderful time of laughter and surprises at every corner! :) It's a good shopping place for locally designed goods as well! 😉

This kitchen will not disappoint you! We found it through videos on YouTube and it it really lived up our expectations. They seriously have the best wings in Singapore. The noodles with sausage were famous. We have never eaten such goodness in our lives. I recommend visiting this restaurant.

Monica, a very friendly lady who was very helpful to us, gave us a lot of helpful information and tips. We only had two days for sightseeing. If you can walk reasonably well, the metro and buses with the day pass are highly recommended. Itinerary to visit includes: Little India, Chinatown and the Marina Bay area. An absolute must is a visit to Marina Bay (by metro) in the evening with various night laser light shows, unforgettable impressions, excellent! THANK YOU SINGAPORE

Congratulations on employing Johanna, she is fantastic! Our holiday was exceptional because of the knowledge she shared. We jumped on and off trains and buses, like locals as we followed Johanna's instructions. We even went to Malaysia one day for lunch! Highly recommended. Tracey and Bruce, Australia.

Tour down Orchard road vs Emerald Hill road and Cairnhill road with these old heritage shop houses with cafes and bars. Saturday night Fever. Own Time Own Target. 👁👣🦻👄🎤

If you want to explore more about Singapore than shopping and eating, this is the place for you to visit for both local and tourist. Speak to any of the staff and you will be surprised with the information shared.

Like other reviews here ...THE STAFF ARE SO RUDE! First few hours I'm in Singapore. Immigration send me to the visitors centre for a token as Trace Together App takes 24 hours to update. Im greeted by an obese lady in a hijab and fake diamond engagment ring who doesnt want to even let me speak enough to explain that I cannot use my app as I enter. Eventually I get her to stop talking over me enough to get my point accross and am met by another lady asking me if I wanty to sit and calm. OMG. As I leave frustated as hell wishing I'd have never entered there, I look back watching them gossip like old fisher-women. Simply awful experiance and not at all in the vien of how friendly Singaporeans are. Truly saddening that these small minded arrogant women could be the first impression of Singaporeans for foreigners. DONT GO THERE!

Really pleasant experience even as a local walking in. I was immediately greeted by the folks in the centre. Proud to have such a lovely visitor centre that leaves only good memories for visitors who need a local’s advice on navigating through our sunny island.

Thank you so much Bryan for your amazing assistance and knowledge and recommendations for Singapore! The Hainenese Chicken at Food Safari on the 5th floor of 313 Orchard was really good, thanks! I’ve since found out that the plantations I could see from the plane were rubber trees in Indonesia! So not in your purview…but now you know!🙏Alexandra and Kim

Arrived at 6:58pm and the staff were at the door. Although closing time is 7:00pm they refuse to help and ask us to come back tomorrow morning, with the reason that they have already turned off the light and turning it on would get alarm! When they standing there explain to me it turned 7:00pm and the Ang Mo guy said “okay, it’s 7pm now and we’re closed”. I don’t understand why such service attitude can represent Singapore’s image in front of global tourists. It’s totally disappointing!

Popped by the orchard visitor centre yesterday and met John. He was very helpful in giving the history of Spore and also how it grew to be the city it is today. I had 2 teens with me and they were amused by his anecdotes as well as impressed by the facts of Spore island, as well as its efforts in building sustainability for Sg. A great view into Sg apart from shopping, eating and Sentosa.

All the team at Singapore Visitor Centre were helpful, especially John! John gave us lots of tips on where to eat and what sites and city highlights to see in a short time, that suited our interests. John was most helpful in helping us with the MRT for transport too. Thank you to the team and to John!

This is the best visitor Centre i have ever visited. Monica was brilliant. She clearly loves her job and is really enthusiastic ambassador for Singapore. Alongside her San Franciscan colleague, she was a warm host, with a wealth of great stories. See you on our next trip.

Love this place. The aunty there was so helpful, she told me to stay for some time to have my grandma rest. She basically told us everything from path, directions, recommended food, transportation, timing in Singapore etc. I wish there will be more of this place around Singapore

I wish other countries have similar centers for tourists They're so welcoming and helping that I felt in related to them in someway. They printed hiking maps for us, treated us with mint chocolates coffee and then I've creams. They even introduced us to cycling tours which I was grateful for. ( Honestly they need to work on their cycling infrastructure Imo)

We would like to thank and praise Stephen for his incredible help on our stay in Singapore. We got some great tips and was well worth visiting the visitor centre on the first day to get some well needed inside knowledge on where to go, what to see, and most importantly how to get there.

Staff were friendly but failed to tell us of the closed attractions so we wasted time and money. The individual websites also failed to advise of the closures. For example, Changi Prison Museum-closed, parts of Fort Canning Hill- closed.?

Any questions you got about where to go and how to get there, they can sort you out. They got info on what's going on and when. Also they got cool things happening right inside of the center as well. Like perfume making, or some kinda craft or even poetry and all for free. I always pop in to ask which bus I need to go here, or there
