As an architecture designer and urban planner, one of my past time is to visit religious buildings, cities, and obscure buildings so as to expand my understanding of people's needs and learn from the past masters and also some mistakes perhaps other had made as I would not like to repeat them. Here is one cathedral that really impressed. The serenity and peace fill me whenever I stepped into the church. All other life challenges vanish in a single moment. I love to sit quietly watching and observing. Not really sure what I was seeing, perhaps just space out.

Beautiful old building but very well maintain. At least it is less commercialise here, unlike Chijmes. A much better place if you are looking for inner peace here compare to other church since not so high human traffic. Just next to City Hall MRT so very convenient as well.

Beautiful national monument. The church has been used during World War II as a makeshift hospital. It’s currently wrapped up in blue and going through conservation works.

St. Andrew's Cathedral is an prominent building that provides people with a place of worship with awe. Everytime I passed by the Cathedral, I would stop to take a photo of it because of it's beautiful architecture. The sacredness and peace that can be felt within the cathedral the moment you enter. You would need to register your attendance before going down to attend their weekday and weekend services. There are a few halls which is well maintained for worship. They also have a pool for baptism. There's parking lots within the cathedral and located just above city hall mrt. There's a cafe that's opened for all to gather as well. #ILoveStAndrewsCathedral

There were no signs that it was a private carpark and that anyone with no business with the cathedral were unwelcomed. While walking back to the car, we were followed by a chapel personnel who sternly questioned if we had any business being there and that we were not allowed in without trying to understand what happened. Thought that this was a nice site to have a walk but I guess it’s not for the public… Do be informed.

This majestic architecture church is my absolute favorite. The interior design is just as fabulous as the exterior design. I didn't get the chance to go in during the weekday, but people do come here at Sunday. The church is big and tall, it's just located behind City Hall MRT station. Super convinience for people to access.

From outside I like this cathedral a lot. Special is the green park location in between skyscrapers and nearby the MRT station , City Hall. I intend to pay another visit as soon as the renovation works are finished. In the meantime I visited the New Sanctuary with the chapel, nice amphitheater and the café.

attended their morning service, quite nice, and their reverend all quite helpful and kind st andrew cathedral is the oldest church in singapore (and of course the oldest anglican church). and actually it was sir raffles ordered to build a church here. anglicanism now is kind of the most popular protestant christian denomination in singapore, and the cathedral has quite a few members. also something interesting is there are many schools and hospitals funded by the cathedral (including the famous st andrew jc) their sunday morning service is open for walk-in now the main building is still in maintenance so cannot rly see anything

This Church has more than hundreds year old, is a very antique Church.I like the architecture and the holy way the Pastors do prayer. Recently the Church has a great changes, as this changes make my wife and I feel more strange toward the Church.I have been with this church more than 5year but not a member yet as just a Christian who visit my heaven father weekly (Sunday) as state in Bible. I feel that the present Pastors no longer like the previous Pastors so fatherly and friendly(lovely). I can't feel the love from God. With the pass few years with St Andrew, every week I will look forward for the weekend prayer and look forward to talk to the Pastors as to gain some bile knowledge. After all this changes, it seen like the Church no longer feel holy as before. I still visit the Church recently and find that during service, peoples getting lesser and lesser. Maybe I'm not the only person that feel this way many peoples may feel as I'm.

A very convenient Anglican church to go, right next to the city Hall MRT station. Love the peaceful environment and the church is also open for Holy Communion Services on Wed, Thurs at 12.30pm and weekends. Do refer to their webpage to make a booking before u head down.

St. Andrew's Cathedral captivates with its Gothic architecture, soaring spires, and serene ambiance. The intricate stained glass windows tell a rich narrative, while the impressive nave inspires awe. A sacred haven in the heart of the city, it seamlessly blends history and spirituality, offering a peaceful retreat for contemplation.

I've been attending this church (Mandarin congregation) since late 2015. It's a beautiful church with interesting history behind it.

If the carpark is private then put up a sign, or hire a security group, or automate and allow entry only by IU. If the carpark is public and charging money, then all can park. Make up your mind.

Attended traditional service 3 times so far. Worship is beautiful, pastors preach with compassion and services were properly run.

One of my favourite places in Singapore. I usually attend the 6.30 AM service and I'm pretty blessed by worshipping here. This is not just simply a church but it is also historical and significant in the history of SG. The church has a big compound and you can feel that you can breathe here as the space is quite spacious and refreshing. The church besides its ancient gothic style of building also have a modern looking cafe and modern church building which is underground. A very lovely community of believers who welcomes everyone into their church. Go, check this church out when in SG.

I didn't go there for the worship service. I attended a talk on the Code of Engagement for Charities at the auditorium.

Part of the actual cathedral was under construction so I wasn't able to see the beautiful architecture that everyone talks about. I was only able to have a glance on the area under construction but it's a pretty nuce cathedral.
