A great cafe located in the Far East Plaza, cool to chill after day of shopping. They have interesting coffee beans and pourover but the beans is not suited for my taste, but will try other beans next time. Otherwise great atmosphere. Note there's 90 min sitting time.

Been here so many times. My go to place when I’m in need coffee at this part of Orchard. Love the vibes and also the social causes that they built upon initially. Coffee is consistent as always. I have been to their other outlet at Chinatown where they roast their beans there. Equally as good.

Affordable artisanal brew in town. Place sits 16pax max, indoor, air-conditioned. E-payment is available. The drink menu is limited and cakes are available. We tried the "not cold brew" and macha latte, both were good but coffee was light and diluted, granted it's chilled coffee and not cold brew per its name . Extra star given for excellent service. Coffee beans are mainly arabica (acidic). Good value for what you are paying.

Excellent coffee from this local roaster. The default is a single shot. This latest cup of 7 oz double shot white, made with their Guatemala Rio Azul beans and Meiji milk, had a robust apple, chocolaty flavour, though it could be a little more rounded. From earlier visits, the double shot white with Bali beans had a balanced fruity, nutty flavour with a heavy body and good aftertaste; the double shot white using their Tanzania Kubwa Tano AA single origin and Meiji milk was mind blowing - good aroma, a robust, rounded, jammy, grape, red wine, almost chocolaty flavour with a medium to heavy body. Sustained flavour through cup and in the aftertaste. Great texture. Undoubtedly one of the best cups of coffee I’ve had.

Chanced upon this cafe while browsing Google Maps for a place for coffee. Occupying one of the shop lots in Far East Plaza. Seats are quite limited (due to safe distancing) so may need to wait a for awhile when there's a crowd or can always opt for takeaway. Coffee was pretty good. A bit on the milkier side but that's just personal preference. Service was good and friendly too. Definitely be back again if I'm around orchard area.

Just wanted to show some appreciation for the staff here. Came by today and had a great coffee experience. Even though the Filter was for my SO, Sarah(if I’ve not mistaken her name) gave us an extra cup for the filter after I mentioned to my SO that I wanted to try some. She also provided us with an extra plate and cutlery without us asking, even though we only ordered 1 dish. Kudos to her for her thoughtfulness, as not many would bother to pay attention to small details and be proactive about it. Had a Flat White, Costa Rica Filter & an Iced White. Filter was slightly darker than I expected, but still very pleasant. Whites were great. Would highly recommend for good coffee!

White - $4.50 (+$0.50 for alternative milk, which oat milk) I was in a quiet mood to just have coffee to wake myself up while catching up on some news for the day. The coffee did that perfectly. The coffee was served at the perfect temperature, the aroma and the taste were just robust enough for me, and the first few sips brought joy instantly. I stepped into this small establishment, was greeted casually but warmly by the staff. The setting was very comfortable, sort of preparing me to be in the mood for the coffee. The staff was also attentive enough to bring cups of water to all the customers that were around at that point of time, like how you would treat your friends when they come over to your house. It was also quite fascinating and calming to see them prepare the coffee and drips over the counter. I will definitely be back to try the rest of their coffee.

Note that there are not many seats available in the café. Is there a queue when you were there? No as I visit the café at non-peak period. How’s the décor? The dim interior with neon lights (with “Community” wordings) and a motorbike workshop touch. Not so much space in the café as it can only accommodate 1 long table and a few of small size coffee tables. By the way, there is also bar near the counter where you can sit and enjoy the process of hand brew coffee by the barista! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Is it convenient to travel to the place? Yes, the cafe is located at Level 2 of Far East Plaza and it is about 2 minutes walking distance from Bus stop (ID: 09219) to the cafe. Will I travel to here just for the food? No, it is only one of best café in my list (not the best of the best 😂😂😂😂😂). Will I visit the place when I am around? Yes, when I am craving for specialty coffee. Final Verdict: Well, a good place to enjoy coffee alone or have a good chat with friends over a cup of good coffee.

The place to go to for specialty coffee without the heavy price tag. They have their own roastery, so you get freshly roasted coffee beans of a consistently good standard. I recommend the filtered coffee here. It’s so light yet so complex in flavour…. a great different way to savour your coffee. I also love that they serve it with a card that provides more information about the coffee that I’m drinking. If you would like something to go with your coffee, they offer a selection of freshly-baked pastries.

A small little cafe at Far East Plaza, decor so-so. Open concept, simple and dim lighting. They do not have a wide range of coffee, therefore I choose to try their white coffee. The aroma of the coffee is not strong, not acidic, and it is very smooth. The cute thing is that the coffee is serve in a small cup as if you are drinking tea instead. Getting tired of the minimalist style coffee shops, hence this urban / street style coffee shop becomes quite unique. Came here to try their filters and the BENTI NENKA is what I had for the day. It tastes very smooth and well balanced, perfect to drink as an afternoon pick-me-up coffee.

Such a charming and welcoming joint! Coffee was well executed with oat milk and they were attentive with water refills too! Plenty of seats for a shopfront of this size too. There’s a time limit of 1 hour though im not sure how strictly they enforce it.

THE Turmeric Chai Latte ($5.50) HERE IS TO-DIE FOR!! Got the iced version (+$1) which did not disappoint. Drink was well-balanced with strong flavours of spice and creaminess from the Oat Milk. 10/10 would visit again! Update: Went back again on Friday. It was only 5:30pm and they were already closed :( Guess I’ll have come earlier next time.

Hubby’s favourite coffee place. He just goes with whatever they recommend and he’s never disappointed. I don’t drink coffee but I love the vibe here. So I always have the cold dark rich chocolate drink and sometimes a little tart/pastry. Unpretentious and great staff. Highly recommend it.

Chanced upon this coffee place and my first takeaway iced white was great! Happened to come by again the next day and decided to order again and was pleasantly surprised by the same barista who remembered and called out my order before I could say anything. Small touch but set my whole experience and impression of this coffee place 200% positive! Don't work near here but will definitely come back again. Lovely place to get coffee in town. Service of the duo ladies were good! I enjoyed my Piccolo latte, and I would come back to try the filtered coffee. They do sell a variety of pound cakes here. However, there's a lack of power sockets here so we can't really work on laptops here.

It's a pleasant find in Far East because most people won't come here for coffee (I don't think!). Coffee's solid; I wish there was written description for each bean but I understand this is still a relatively new establishment so tiny details are still in the works. The main barista is energetic so it adds up to the cool morning vibes in and around the small cafe of sorts. Keep it up!

Don't let the location and size of the place fool you. This small humble speciality coffee shop packs a huge pack. Quality coffee/tea at very affordable price. Great service and ambience. You can tell that the staff are passionate and skilled with their craft. There are pastries and toasts if you are feeling peckish. If you happen to be on your Orchard shopping stroll, this place is definitely worth a small detour to get a drink. (From Orchard MRT, use the underground walkway to head to Tangs then walk on street level)

Hidden gem for coffee lovers! Tucked away in Far East Plaza, this unassuming minimalist cafe is home to gourmet brews. It's very obvious that this is a passion project for the owners; they were brewing, testing, and tasting with gusto the whole 2 hours I was there. They're very personable and take pride in their craft. To top it off, the prices are extremely reasonable. The rich hot chocolate with butterscotch was tasty, as was the mocha. We also had 2 of their toasts which were tasty but not frilly, and only $5. I highly recommend the ricotta & blueberry toast with olive oil & mint!

Ordered an Ice mocha & it was rly not bad! :) ? The aroma and taste of coffee was strong and I could tell that it’s really authentic unlike other cafes who use syrups or sweeteners to make their mochas. The only 2 cons was 1. the coffee cup size; was hoping to get like a Grande Starbucks sized cup but it came in the size of a Tall one & 2. the lack of strong chocolaty taste (or maybe because the coffee was too strong it over-empowered it) Nonetheless I ? would definitely come back but will try their other signature drinks or Hot Cappuccino ($4) n the future! ????‍♀️

Great coffee and service although this is the only cafe I encountered which when I asked for a bag to carry the canister of coffee beans was told "sorry we do not have bags" and sort of look at me while I carry the canister of beans out of the shop in my hands.

Delicious rich coffee - not too milky does not taste burnt , just good coffee. It's in Far east Plaza. The cafe has a nice minimalist, rustic fun feel to it and is enjoyable to go to. Although Community does bits of food themselves (don't expect an extensive food menu), you can you also bring up a Tiramisu jar from the shop one floor below to have with your coffee. (The tiramisu from that shop is great too)

Great place run by knowledgeable coffee people. December 2019 edit: still great, still a daily stop in every single time I'm in Singapore. Really thoughtful coffee: everything is done with pride and consideration for delivering a great cup. It's on my very short list of favorite coffee places anywhere in the world. If you need a caffeine fix and you're near Orchard, do not pass go and head straight here. It's a bit hidden in Far East Plaza, but it's easily the best place around, perhaps in the entire country. If you care about your coffee, then it's always a delight to go to a place that cares just as much. Highest recommendation.

An unusual and surpisingly good find ! From the outside it looks fairly basic but it is clear that they are very focused on the products. I had the Mocha which was very rich and smooth made with 52% dark chocolate, completely blows away all the fast coffee chain mochas that you may have had and a fraction of the price, great coffee well priced. Also had the lemon cake which frankly tasted as if it had been made with fresh lemons that day! Awesome. Glad I found this place and would be very happy to come back :-), thanks.

Haven’t had my coffee in the morning and came here for the first time. Pricing for their drinks are really cheap and their coffee? I had the cappuccino and all I can say after having the first sip was that it made me smile. I haven’t had that feeling in awhile! Also, thank you to the barista for being understanding when I had to take it to go at the last minute! Man, I definitely need more of the coffee here!

Just one area to improve - I hope they will change their ice cube to a regular cube size as the current ones are small and tend to melt fast and cause the coffee taste to be diluted.

With their friendly and warm staff and their delicious coffees and chocolate (served in beautiful cups!) The Community has become one of my favorite cafés in Singapore. Their food, although simple, is also yummy.

Great coffee! 4 dollars for a quality latte is really unheard of in Singapore.. The milk is rich and steamed perfectly, coffee is aromatic (may need a double shot if you want a bit more punch) and staff are super friendly. Nothing pretentious here haha, just good coffee for the masses!!! There's always three filters available at any one time, and they rotate monthly. All roasted by Community themselves! Pls go support :)

Hidden gem in town! Such an unassuming place, visited twice this week because of the coffee & impeccable service. The coffee was so flavorful & rich in body. My god, I had two cups! Had the matcha marble & banana loaf with butter, both were also equally good😍 Was told there’s another outlet in CBD area called Nexus too!

A hidden little cafe in the shopping mall. I ordered a single origin from Bali. It is fruity and full of ripe berries aroma. However the cafe is a bit dirty. The barista was too busy to keep his working area tidy and clean.

Underwhelming flat white, texture of microfoam is totally wrong...this coffee should've never have been served to me, therefore I can't be bothered asking for a remake. Can refer to my photo, check the microfoam. Ultimately this didn't lead to showing the intrinsic flavour of the coffee. No cakes after 2pm. Barista that taps away on their phone while making coffee while on the machine, not a good look. Put your phone away, every customer drink is the most important thing...can tap away when you have a break instead.

Every mall should have a good coffee ☕ place..and this is that place for Far East Plaza. It is a small little shop that sits just over a dozen (at the max).. and the coffee is competent. If you are in the vicinity, it's a good place for a short break, recharge and go again.

I really small and cute café, facing the central atrium. A small selection of eats, such as brownies and a superb banana cake, and the cold brew was flavorful. The flat white comes with cute latte, art, such as the little heart shown in this pic.
