was at the coffeeshop today when I saw a commotion between Rsak indian muslim food helpers with customers. Apparently the helpers were busy scolding customers who queued in front of his stall. I find it bewildering why they could claimed the space and behaved in such unruly manners. This is certainly not good for the coffeeshop business as it turn off customer like myself.

But the auntie is very rude, use plastic disposal cup hor $2.50(raise her voice in very rube manner) . I think she lazy to wash the cup and force the customer to use the plastic disposable cup or she can charge me more? Ask for straw also reply rudely NO

When my aunt said she will bring us to a hidden gem for succulent pork liver, I was expecting Mui Song or similar. It was actually Chao Yuan. I first came upon Chao Yuan at Block 679 Jurong West Central when I was looking for a quick and easy lunch nearby. So who came first? Ah Ma Chi Mian or Chao Yuan Gourmet? No place for debate, I'll just have whatever is present at the moment. My aunt said this coffeeshop was recently renovated to become a clean location, a far cry from what was once where she had rodent sightings that put her off. The longest queue during our weekend lunchtime is the ban mian/fish soup and chicken rice. The couple manning the fish soup will break off to juggle both stalls from late afternoon. You have to admire their ardour. Let's talk about the drinks. Someone needs to let them know that $3 for teh c siew dai peng and $2.50 for teh o siew dai peng is kind of ridiculous. I blame the dumb cup, which we can really do without. I still paid after staring at the price reflected on the cash register screen. We are really moving towards that inflated future.

Standard fish slice noodles, could have been better if the soup is thicker. Fried dumpling is really fried. Hokkien Mee next stall is pretty normal too, the sauce has yet to immerse itself into the noodles.

Worst tasting cup of teh for $1.40! So bad until i had to post a bad review right after taking a sip as a reminder. Diluted, watered down and tasteless. Will not order again.

Loving how brightly lit it is after renovation. New n interesting addition to the drink menu. Milo n grass jelly do actually compliment each other. New shops like the Chicken rice n economic mee n dim sum stall are nice. Rest are the same stall from before reno. Standard still good

Be careful of the pricing when ordering from the indian food stall. Make sure you ask before ordering cos the promo price stated in the running LED is fake. i had a goreng without meat for $5 only to know when paying. when i look back at the LED it shows $4! After ordering he will ask you to come back 5min n not tell you the price. After its cooked then there comes the price.

Chicken rice stall is decent but the drink stall staff attitudes need to be reviewed. Arguing between workers, workers showing displeasure openly among themselves. Worst of all? Sometimes you cannot even get a cup of coffee in the morning. Once there was an incident whereby whole drink stall is not lighted cause no one came to work. Just this morning, the uncle was there counting the money and flatly told me drink stall is closed cause he is packing up due to no worker At 7am in the morning on a friday. All these within a span of 2 months. No where else have i witnessed such a circus act. If the owner of the kopitiam happens to see this review, i suggest you look into this seriously.

Drink stall ladies were all very rude. 1- gave me a large drink and blamed it on me for not mentioning what size I want (mind you it was my first time purchasing drink in this coffee shop) 2- grab pay successful, showed her the screen and she insist I wait for the payment to go through her system???? Then give a rude tone when I told her I use grab pay.

Fishball noodles were decent. However drink stall lady was super rude. Brought koi in (didnโ€™t drink) and she came all the way to our table to tell us no outside food and drinks. Mind you we were both eating food bought from there. She was also shouting and scolding at the cashier lady. Think she has better things to do like make nicer drinks.

The old lady at the drinks stall was terribly rude. Had to give her back the same medicine that she tries to sell to others to shut her up. We always make sure to appreciate and respect especially the old folks working at coffeshops but please lah, don't take our humble approach to you as our weakness. I always try to avoid this place since the day I moved to this neighborhood. The experience from the very beginning itself was bad.

ordered take out 2 cai png, had a bad experience with the cai png stall, at first the cereal chicken had a strand of hair, the lady removed the strand of hair with her hands and wanted to pack it up for me. Upon request, i got her to replace it instead, disappointed to know i came back to barely enough chicken and paid $3.80 for this rice with egg and cereal flour

Ordered from ๅฅฝๅ‘ณ stall, served and cook by 3 Chinese ladies. Chao kuay tiao (็‚’็ฒฟๆก๏ผ‰above average. Singaporean style, toward the caramel dark sauce (sweet) taste. Not my liking. But well done by preggy aunty. Oyster omelette (aka OO, ่š็…Ž) this gonna be in my favorite list, beside old airport road OO. Super Crispy outside (not only the side of the omelette, is all the outer layer is fking crispy). Matching chilli's. this dish make my days. Worth waiting. Deep fried fsh head soup. Not my liking, fishy (taste not fresh, my personal opinion). Overall will be back again for the OO.

Fish head soup here is delicious. Slightly expensive but understandable since red grouper can be considered premium fish. Might have to q and wait abit during meal times.

Indian muslim store store attendant is extremely rude. Hounding and insisting on customers paying the exact amount with coins. Short changed me 10ยข but itโ€™s fine. Consider it charity done and buying the knowledge to never patronise the store again. Also, despite putting up the nets qr code and cdc voucher sign, they only accept cash.

Ordered you mian ($3 and it comes with minced pork and egg) at the fish noodle stall and the hawker made a mistake and prepared fish soup instead. Ended up paying $4.50 for a meal (fish soup with you mian noodles, instead of thick beehoon noodles) that I didn't ask for and had to wait even more. Hawker didn't want to correct the mistake.

After the recent upgrading works the quality of food served here has improved drastically. The roast meat store serves really good char siew, roast pork and roast chicken rice, and the dim sum store is good value for money as well. I also really like the prata they serve here (the chicken curry is really good). Crowds can be pretty big at peak timings (morning and lunchtime) so do arrive early if you plan on eating there.
