Very good coffee - aromatic, creamy, not acidic and reasonably priced (nett). Pastries were so so. Bright and clean place with both indoor and outdoor seatings. Staff were very polite too. PS: This cafe is located conveniently just beside the bus stop.

The coffee is real good and cheap. The pie and quiche are so so. I do not think they are baked by them. Being non NUS staff and student, we were asked to sit outside. No problem 😉

Decent coffee.. nice frothing, espresso shot can be a little better. But it is quite amazing for a 3.2 buck capaccino. cakes are decent. the environment and ambience of university is the biggest plus point. Feels away from buzz and place where you can enjoy the peace.

This is the best place on NUS campus to get a coffee and to study. Their earl grey tea muffins are amazing (ask for it to be heated up!) and the coffee is always great, and very affordable. Sometimes when they're not too busy they even do wonderful latte art! The staff are extremely friendly and the food/drink is always really tasty. I would recommend the ice honey lemon or the honey latte. The tables in the back are the perfect place to do work, it's quiet and there are two outlets at every desk.

There is a need for social distancing hence there are fewer seats. You need to better manage your seating system. Your sign in front of the shop says "please wait to be seated" but you allow people to walk in to chope seats. End up the people who queued to order food find that there are no seats left despite your signage. And your staff got defensive and angry when questioned about the system. Disappointing experience.

The Assam Fish is a must-try must-order for those who love fish dishes. It's absolutely delish, no MSG, with brinjal, okra and cherry tomatoes that's cooked perfectly and served hot! Brought family and friends and they're all addicted! We'll be back!

They offer a wide variety of both coffee and non-coffee based drinks. I tried their long black ($3), in which they used their house blend (called as The Infinity Blend). The coffee is quite enjoyable - as it was quite balanced.

I have to say I am blessed to have the best teacher - Swee Heng. Paying for the course itself is worth it and I learn so many more things. Even though I work as a barista, I did not have much knowledge and the first lesson I attended, I have so much more knowledge than ever. Within 2 months, I was able to create different latte arts adapted and taught from the classes. I have to say that this is the best of the best that I came across and experienced. Went down on a quiet afternoon for a light lunch. The salmon quiche was served hot and the accompanying honey lemon drink had a just-nice sweetness level.

Amazing Chai Latte and love the bakery items sold by them. Highly recommend it for leisure or meetings/study over a cup of coffee.

Took a break from books and got a flat white. First time trying and was pleasantly surprised by the quality, especially the latte art. Prices are slightly cheaper than cafes outside campus too. 😊

Wanted a light lunch today and decided to go with Lavender latte and salmon quiche (they ran out of turkey and ham). The latte has a refreshing floral taste with tinge of sweet notes. I can’t tell if the lavender flavour was infused naturally or syrup, but recommend to those with sweet tastebuds. The salmon quiche was not bad, it’s quite filling. The lunch set was $9.50, but I will prolly come back just for the coffee next time. The cafe environment is chill and quiet, with a nice view of the tree canopy.

Nice cafeteria, cheaper than Starbucks. Taste wise still good enough. They also have started new healthy meal menu with Acai, which you can also custom order apart from the fixed recipes.

Upon opening the doors of the cafe, the aroma of coffee can be breathed in immediately. With fairly affordable prices, would recommend anyone to give this cafe a shot. Filled with mostly student baristas, they do a good job in their coffee, especially with the basic latte art as a bonus. For the price, I’m contented with the quality. Go for the large cup for a little bit more caffeine shot. Just a few recommendations is to improve the packaging of the cup to create a nicer look! The outdoors are pretty scenic for an afternoon chill. Only pity is the place closes early at 630pm.

(The owner) Swee Heng conducted such an organised and interactive "Latte Lite" workshop for our pre-teens and youths which kept even the youngest engaged and on their toes. He was extremely accommodating, patient and attentive to details while keeping the session light-hearted for the participants who had a great time trying their hand creating their very own latte & hot chocoloate art.

Ordered in some bakes through the islandwide delivery service! The process was smooth and the customer service was responsive and helpful. With regards to the bakes, we love the Earl grey chiffon, banana walnut loaf and gula melaka madelienes! Definitely recommend to try these. 👍🏼

A couple of months ago, i was hospitalised for 34 days due to an inflamed knee which required Surgery, and after being admitted in hospital for such a prolinged period of time, and was approaching my birthday, my young daughter wanted to get a piece of brownie to celebrate my birthday. Yet she was told that they ran out brownie, and the lady staff made a very nice and warming gesture by gifting my daughter with a piece of FOc muffin to be given to me to celebrate my birthday. We shared the delicious muffin that day, and today after attaining some form of mobility i made my way to thank the staff at the branch and have our breakfast T2 x 02 sets with nice tuna, mushroom and chicken puff. Chain cafe with yummy tarts. Their original is my favorite of the bunch. They offer lots of Singapore staples like Kayan toast. The seating area is very basic with ample tables and stools. Service is fast and friendly.

This place is open! Not permanently closed! Super secluded and only just found this place despite working in orchard for awhile. Had the recommended nonya curry chicken and it came in a claypot. Curry was good chicken could be more tender. But for $6 there was fair amount of meat. For this price range should have more people but guess it's too secluded. The shop is at the underground area linking orchard central/gateway to foot locker.

Simple but small coffee shop located in The Underground walkways after Orchard Gateway, more into modern style seating (has high-chair seats). Standard food selection with moderate cost (a chicken cutlet rice costs $6.00). Could be opened recently, as almost 1 page of mwnu still not available for order.

It was my first time trying out The Coffee Xpress. Didn’t expect much. Tried their Assam fish and it was LEGIT GOOD! Such a good curry, One bowl of rice is definitely not enough for me so I went on to get another bowl of rice! I was ready to pay for the rice but they doesn’t want to charge me! Good service! They're serving luncheon meat and egg now which i cant have luncheon meat daily. Hopefully they will add in at least 1 veg option! Will try other food for lunch if got chance.
