While waiting for the rain vortex timing to coincide with the sampan rides at MBS, the Beanstro is an ideal spot to people watch while enjoying some food. Food wise, it was typical café food but it was good. The Prawn Aglio Olio was tasty and would have loved to see a larger serving given the price of it. The Crispy Calamari though was a case of Jekyll & Hyde in the same dish. While some pieces were well fried and tasty, some pieces were soggy and the calamari was to tough like rubber that one could bounce it off the floor, makes one wonder if this dish was made from 2 separate frying. The Cesar Salad was tasted but the croutons did taste a little stale. The café should check their kitchen or central kitchen to prevent using old croutons, just in case it is management's decision to save some cost thinking that the customers will not notice it by reusing an older batch of croutons. Ended the meal with a drink of The Ultimate. Known as The Ultimate Mocha at the usual Coffee Bean cafés, the price here is the same as a large at the usual café but the size served here was at best a medium. Did feel a little peeved that the serving size if not up to standard. The service here is excellent and the drinks are good but prices are a little pricy and does not match in terms of size. Would love to see improvement in the food and drinks serving as the excellent customer service should not be let down by the disappointing kitchen or food size decision by upper management. General Verdict: A relaxing spot when seated at one of the seats that surrounds the Rain Vortex pool. Good food, great atmosphere, great spot. Worth a return at anytime. Those who are MBS Lifestyle Members get to earn 10% rebate to offset future spending at any MBS shops. Opening Hours: Daily 8:30am-10pm Queue Situation: It is one of the more popular spots, so registering your name and phone with the staff for an automated queue number helps. Usually takes about 15 to 30 mins. Price: SG$20++ upwards per person Payment Mode: Cash and all Major Credit Cards (Paywave and Physical) Items Ordered: 1) Item: Prawn Aglio Olio - Tossed Tiger Prawns with Garlic, Olive oil, Chili and Parsley, served on Angel Hair Pasta Description: A tasty dish with ingredients cooked well. Only wish that it was a larger serving given the price. Verdict: Good, Can Order Price: SG$24.50++ 2) Item: Crispy Calamari - Deep fried battered Squid Description: This was a dish that was good and bad at the same time. Some pieces were well fried and the calamari was good. Some pieces were soggy and the calamari was tough like chewing on rubber and could literally bounce on the table. Makes one wonder if this was made up of 2 different frying. Verdict: Acceptable, Order only if you want to try it Price: SG$9++ 3) Item: Caesar Salad - An iconic salad of Baby Romaine Lettuce with Poached Egg, Croutons, Crispy Turkey Bacon & Parmesan Cheese topped in Special Beantro's Caesar Dressing Description: The vegetables and bacon were tasty and well balanced. Wish that the croutons were fresher as they tasted a little stale. Verdict: Good, Can Order Price: SG13++ 4) Item: The Ultimate - Mocha with chocolate covered espresso beans Description: A tasty drink but given the price, it should be a Large-size when compared to the usual Coffee Bean cafes Verdict: Good, Can Order Price: SG$8++

The food at Beanstro is nice, definitely a nice place to chill. We were served by Nur Sabrina (hope I remember her name correctly). She is smiley, friendly, and very helpful by taking nice pics for us, for this thank you! 😊 I do enjoy sitting in a nice atmosphere, having a drink or a meal. What I do enjoy the most is having a good time sharing a good conversation and laughter with.

Foodwise, just average but quite fast in serving. Their beverages were good though, tea and frappe were good. Service was nice in my opinion. Their crew attended us in good manner. What they sell actually (IMHO) is the ambience and surrounding as their position is right under the waterfall. Nice show for tourist like us.

Great view of the mall and the waterfall. The teas were great and service was good. Check them out!

Ordered Chai Latte. Taste was quite refreshing. Great to see how tea is making a comeback in the world where most of cafes are so coffee driven. Ambience is great and distance between two tables is just right so you don’t need scream over each other or hear others sitting around

Service was absolutely terrible. Staff were clearly only focused on cleaning tables (even though there was no queue) instead of serving customers. Asked for two cups of iced water and they never came. Was not served iced water when we were seated as well. Pressed the service button 8 times yet nobody attended to us. Yet, one of the waitresses had the cheek to ask me to press the service button when I decided to self-service while looking ostensibly annoyed. Food was below average. Ordered fish and chips - fish was overcooked. Calamari rings were alright. The chocolate milkshake was quite decent. Overall a very negative experience especially given that they charge $33++ for below average fish and chips. Food was incredibly overpriced. Mains were on average $30-35. As they do not display their menus or prices visibly, I strongly urge customers to do their due diligence before getting a seat.

I would give 3.5 stars. The tiger prawns pasta is spicy but not much taste. The curly fries is nice. The chocolate chip mocha ice blend is abit yoo sweet but the cappuccino is very good.

Pricey for the food and service it offers. The eggs florentine is bland. The egg was perfectly poached but the whole thing is just tasteless. The burger was pretty decent, the curly fries as a side doesn't have that stale texture, so I was happy with that. Their coffee is from CBTL (the store basically a rename). Overall, it's just too pricey for something very so-so. Also, the 'call server's attention' button on the tables is either not working or ignored, because no one arrives even on multiple calls. Its potential saving grace is it being around the waterfalls, but not enough to entice us to go back.

A cafe for a short break in between shopping at MBS so don’t expect too much. Service is wanting. When our cake was served, there was no fork at all and the waiter just went back to his work. Coffee is fine, cake is okay. But service wise, temper all expectations.

Food taste was not good, considering the price you are paying. I can understand, it’s MBS the price has to be high, but totally not worth it. Better to spend your hard earned money in a proper restaurant. Staff is ok, but looked very low on enthusiasm, may be they are not paid well. The only good part is the location, you can take some good pictures if you are seated outside. Personally, will skip this place.

I dined in for lunch and got some cakes takeaway Got home and realised I was only given 1 cake for 2 cakes that I had paid. Ordered a cheesecake and a chocolate dome, server asked if I want them to be packed together, I told him I am ok. Got home with only the chocolate dome. So… Where is my strawberry cheesecake packed to??? Too bad I was already home to realise this. The price is not cheap! Ate the fish and chips: not crispy the curly fries as well Watermelon lychee cooler was good though. The price is high but at Marina Bay Sands nothing is cheap. Definitely not value for money.

The service staffs are fast and efficient. Managed to get a seat by fountain. After ordered by the QR code, food are served fast and hot. The fish and chip is fried perfectly and I love the coffee bean on the tartar sauce. Also the curly fries and greens side, are yummy. However, the fish meat is on the dry side, which is for the chef to improve on. Definitely a place to sit and relax amidst the shopping and attending events.

They were great enough to get some nice vegetarian food for us. I got myself red sauce and white sauce pasta. Red sauce tasted well, but white sauce, not so much. Left it just like that. Wasted S$33 just like that. Ambience is great and staff is awesome 👌

There wasn’t much of a variety of food and drinks to choose from. The food tasted normal and maybe even tasted very home cooked. But for a restaurant in MBS it was at a very decent price. Would like to opt for outdoor seats so you will get to see the sampan and whirling pool.

My favourite cafe at The shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. The food is relatively good with reasonable price. Their cold coffee are good and not too sweet and you get to have a lovely view of the boat ride. They’re usually busy specially on weekends and dinner time so it’s quite hard to get a table.

The right place to have a drink after a long walk. I only order drinks while enjoying the indoor fountain. Sitting by this fountain brings my memory back to when I was by the waterfalls. The cool breeze, slight mist, and sound is a nice break after a long hot day. The drink itself is decent. I would consider other reviews on foods at this place. The Beanstro is a good stop before you continue walking around Singapore.

Visited this place quite a few times and first time writing a review on them. They are located in a very strategic location within MBS. There’s always quite a crowd forming and typically you can expect to wait for 40-50 mins for a table although the good thing is that you can leave your contact and they will call you back when a table is available. It’s always one of the few place I will go as there’s really not many mid range cafes and restaurants in MBS where you can go to rest your tired legs during shopping trips. I never have a high expectation of the quality of the food served here but really got to say the recent fish and chips I ordered on 12/2 was really hard and dry. For a cake or coffee, they are still quite decent.

Was at MBS to catch The 1975 band concert on Wednesday night after work (the band was great by the way) - decided on Beanstro as it was one of the nearer F&B outlets to the Sands Expo and Convention Centre where the concert was being held. We got the Caesar salad, the Chicken Pomodoro pasta and a lychee fizz drink. First thing we noticed was that the items on the menu were very overpriced for the quality of food we received - don’t get me wrong, the food was decent but just nothing to shout about. For reference the salad was about $23, pasta was $28 and the drink was $10.50 before service charge and GST. Our 2-pax dinner cost us over $70 for 3 items. Pretty sure we can get better quality food at some other restaurants in Singapore. The saving grace was that the food came really fast, so we were able to finish our dinner in 45 mins from the time we were seated and make it in time for the 8pm concert. The location was also quite central in MBS, and it being within MBS the atmosphere was quite ok. Probably be the first and last time I would choose to dine here.

What better experience to be witnessing Siphon Coffee process at a location that is hard to be miss. Rarely come across this coffee method and the server was at the upmost importance to explain what it is and how to drink. Went for the lighter taste and was surprised by the smoothness with low acidity. It’s good for 2 and a half cups as per the price. Recommended to try something different.

Not a great cafe latte. Chocolate Gateau was good. Strawberry cheesecake was dry. Vanilla milkshake wasn't great either, and had relatively large ice pieces in it. Nice view and service, but not worth the money, to be honest.

I had a disappointing experience at Beanstro. I would rate this restaurant 1 star. The QR code for the menu was hard to scan, and when I asked the staff for assistance, they ignored me and walked away. Even after requesting help a second time, I didn't receive any assistance until I asked for a hard copy menu. The food was not good either. Everything tasted bland and tasteless. The aglio olio was particularly disappointing, as were the eggs, bacon, ham, and pancake in the breakfast platter. The fish and chips were tough and also lacked flavor. The Calamari was soggy. To make matters worse, my glass had a lipstick mark on it. The service staff simply removed the glass without apologising or replacing it. The only positive aspect of my experience was the staff member named Marlene Jennifer, who was friendly and provided some service recovery.

Beanstro Cafe at Marina Bay Sands, nestled near the captivating waterfall, offers an exceptional dining experience. The culinary delights are nothing short of amazing. The dry laksa, a standout on the menu, presents a unique twist that tantalizes the taste buds. The fish and chips, another star dish, deliver an impressive burst of flavors that make for a delightful meal. Not only is the food noteworthy, but the attention to detail extends to the beverages. The tea pot stands out for its aromatic and well-flavored brew, adding a perfect complement to the overall dining experience. The staff at Beanstro Cafe contribute significantly to the positive atmosphere, displaying friendliness and a commitment to excellent service. What elevates the dining experience further is the captivating view and ambiance. Situated near the waterfall, patrons are treated to a visually stunning environment that enhances the overall enjoyment of the meal. Whether it's the delicious food, welcoming staff, or the picturesque surroundings, Beanstro Cafe at Marina Bay Sands is a commendable choice for those seeking a delightful culinary adventure.

An expensive Coffee Bean bistro. The foods were mediocre and didn’t reflect the price value put on them. There’s a service bell on all the outdoor seating which you could press for service and bill. Although it’s convenient, the service wasn’t on par with surrounding restaurants even though I was paying similar price point. The staffs did serve complimentary water upon request.

The food is great. I had a red snapper fish and chips together with passion fruit tea. The price is not too bad. Plus you get to enjoy a nice view while eating but sadly when I was eating here, the vortex was not in service. Overall it’s nice place to chill in MBS.

It's a nice cafe located on the lower level of Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands and has tables around the large pool which looks like a canal where there are boat rides. There is no printed menu, but it is only available via QR code. It has a wide variety of coffees and unique deserts, which are highly recommended.

Pricey and food was normal. Ordered red snapper fish and chip - fish was too dry on the inside. Classic burger was so-so. Tomato based pasta was on the sour end. Service … its peak hr. Nice sampan view though. 90 mins dinning limit.

Wait was about 30mins during Sat lunchtime. Leave your contact details with them and they will call you when a table is ready. Requested for seats outside which surrounds the water feature. Food portions are just nice and looks exactly like what you see on the menu. We were in for a treat when the water feature started at 3pm and lasted for about 15mins.

Enjoyed my afternoon tea with royal brew coffee using siphon distillation. Love the cakes ... located just at the fountain area and where sampan rides make a U-turn.

A good place to have a relaxing time after shopping or walking specially at outside tables front of the Oculus waterfall. It has a short menu for food and Drinks. It's doesn't serve juice or ice-cream. My order was Choc Cookie Crumble Ice Blended. It's not an expected and tasty beverages. I would say it is a great place if you want to enjoy the atmosphere of the waterfall and people watching.

Red snapper fish & chips was delish! Batter was light and crisp, oil was clean as I didn't get that jelat feeling after a few bites.

Nice place to chill. Can be quite cooling when the water splashing begins in the fountain area. Coffee slightly on the pricier side as compared to normal cafes. Peppermint chocolate cake is not bad! Service is prompt, friendly and good.

Customer service is excellent. Staffs were prompt in their actions. As for the food rating, I ordered the Red Snapper fish and chips, Pan Seared Chicken Pom Pasta and Tiger Prawns Aglio Olio and Crispy Calamari. The fish taste ordinary nothing special, Tiger prawns tasted good but the pasta taste quite salty, chicken pasta and Calamari were the best among all. Final bill price $108. Environment quite relaxing.

Nice, quite generous portions of food. Service was quick even though the staffs were super busy zooming in and out the store. I highly recommend getting an ice blended drink, because it looks just different from those at coffee bean outside.

Food was slightly above average. Comparing to the price paid, Yardbird is a better bet. Service was good till nearing the end of our meal. We were left with our last calamari dish and the staff had to come over several times wanting to clear our plates and utensils. I wouldn't be so unhappy if they are going to provide new set of cutlery and plate, but no. I had to repeat twice that I was still eating. Payment was a hassle. Despite having a mobile terminal, I have to leave my seat to tap at their mobile terminal to pay using NFC. Food: 3.5 Ambience: 3 Service: 3 Come back again possibility: None.
