I
happened
to
bumped
into
this
coffeehouse
by
OCK
(Old
Chang
Kee)
at
Tampines
Hub.
Went
in
to
have
a
laksa,
Blue
Pea
Nasi
Lemak,
Coffee
with
milk.
My
laksa
came
in
not
exactly
hot,
just
warm.
Can't
smell
the
aroma
of
coconut
milk
which
is
the
soul
of
this
dish.
Tasted
the
laksa
soup
and
boy....
am
I
disappointed.
I
don't
feel
the
body
there
inside
the
soup.
I
think
the
chef
at
the
central
kitchen
should
go
around
tasting
different
famous
laksa,
up
his
tuition
on
how
to
get
his
laksa
soup
right.
The
noodles
and
ingredients
are
ok
but
for
the
price
paid
($6+)
consumers
are
expecting
a
more
decent
bowl
of
laksa
lah
bro!
The
Nasi
Lemak
is
ok
(for
the
side
dishes
like,
egg,
chicken
wing,
peanuts
and
otak.
Chillie
is
ok.
The
main
issue
with
it
is
the
rice
isn't
fragranced
enough
with
coconut
milk.
Is
it
OCK
afraid
we
will
all
run
into
heart
attack
and
get
out
blood
vessels
stuck
with
lemak
juice?
Boss,
don't
worry,
more
coconut
milk
won't
kill
us.
In
all
honesty
and
fairness,
I
couldn't
comment
on
the
rest
of
the
foods
cos
haven't
got
the
time
to
try
it.
Will
review
again
after
trying.
Nontheless,
coffee
with
milk
is
good
but
doesn't
hurt
to
increase
the
cup
size
Mr
Boss
of
OCK.
LOLL...
BTW,
we
(myself
and
my
partner)
hate
to
waste
food,
so
it's
almost
eaten
up.
Usually
for
me,
my
laksa
soup
will
be
dried
up
like
Sahara
desert.
Overall,
food
(those
tried
by
us)
in
the
coffeehouse
is
good
for
those
non
fussy
eaters.
For
fussy
buggars
like
us,
still
have
room
for
them
to
improve
on.
Will
need
to
give
them
time.
Will
be
back
to
try
again
sometime
later.
Chiow
and
Bon
Appetite.
