Visited after Chinese New Year day on the weekday. It wasn't really pack during it. Waited till a bit dark to see the tiger decoration in the front of the mall. They have a quite number of decorations for Chinese New Year. The tiger decoration is big and exotic. This attracts visitor to come and look at it.

Overcrowded with very small sidewalks, a lot of good shops. Very reasonable prices, for gifts and souvenirs. It's not as big as I thought. You can walk all of Chinatown in Singapore in about 1hr or less

A change from the Sustainable Mascot. White Rabbit Brand Mascot is a good link to many of the Era. Would love it more if Chinatown Point could take a lead to Liven up the Area more during the Festives and Infusing more Elements to Preserve Cultures as well!

Chinatown is basically a huge market which has a lot of restaurants, plant shops, linen shops, and souvenir stores. It is a huge market so you will take time to see the whole market. You even get Chinese traditional things here. The only reason that I am rating this 4 star is because there are only Chinese and Korean restaurants.

Made an appointment to service the hearing aid device. Instead of extending the service as an agent, this rude lady stopped us and almost turned us away. She claimed she has been working there for 40 years and no one complain about her before. Huge surprise indeed!!!! Well! Then I am the first one to complain about your rubbish service!!!!!!! I asked to speak to her boss and she said her boss is not free. Very interesting!!!! If your company is not up to par to provide a reasonable standard of service, please avoid doing so.

First opened in 1990 as part of CDL’s portfolio, Chinatown Point underwent a major refurbishment in 2011-12 after it was acquired by Perennial for $250M in 2010. Catering to the mid-tier market, it is an average mall with the usual casual dining outlets and cafes. On its top floor, there is a 1,000SQM library managed by National Library Board staffed by volunteers.

Lovely place, very beautiful with a lot of culture, gives you an authentic feeling of China town and the true definition of culture, had some really good coffee at one of the restaurants, it’s a little bit crowded but worth it. It’s one of the places than need to be in your list when visiting Singapore.

Never disappoints. Always plenty to see and eat. Many Family run eateries, restaurants to eat at or just to call in for a coffee or snack.

It's probably the swankiest mall here simply because the next two nearby malls were too old. Pre-covid this is like the China tourist magnet. And sitting on top of the MRT link, it probably saw the heaviest traffic and footfall coming and going through. There's even a Library on its top level, not much of shopping retailers to think about but large travel agents, loads of food tenants and some supplements stores and an NTUC. The main reason I always walk by is because of the underground passage to cross over from People's Park to eat at Hong Lim. This mall's rent is probably so inhibitive that if Bijin Nabe, Din Tai Feng can't make it here, not many can. Thus every six months you see many changeovers, especially with the food tenants, that easily make up 30% of the mall and more. One more good reason to come here is they have NTUC, Watson's and Guardian all under one roof, hence the best place to come buy your toiletries and compare prices. Other than that is to park comfortably and eat at Hong Lim's or People's Park as they have horrendous parking.

Mostly crowded but fun place to visit and do street shopping. We went in the late evening and could click some nice pictures. The street is always kind of decorated with some theme or the other. This one’s for the Chinese New Year 2022.

It was Rather nice to take a morning stroll around Chinatown and to once again familiarise myself with the many pieces of wall art which draw many tourists to the area to interact with the characters. It’s an area which I’ll certainly re-visit once the Chinese New Year decorations have been installed.

It's a great place to roam around in Chinatown and I found one of the best places for gift shopping. You will be able to find a few things that you can gift anyone at a reasonable cost. Also, make sure you go to the local market or check the prices online for fewer items. This will help you to save some bucks.

My previous visits to China Town were exciting... lots of street food you could enjoy right in the middle of gangway... you could smell various delicious cuisines along the way...combining with the yelling of street food chef attracting your appetite. Now everything is gone. What you will find are organised restaurants... nothing unique and special.... too bad. Would probably never come back here again.

Lively streets and alleys filled with knick knacks, souvenir items and everything in between. Great place for souvenir hunting and to take great street photos. If you’re trying to decide where to set up your base for your SG trip, this can be it as I saw multiple hostels, and other accommodations. There’s also an MRT station right smack in the middle.

"A Captivating Blend of Culture and Charm in Singapore Chinatown"I recently explored Singapore Chinatown, and it left me thoroughly impressed! The vibrant atmosphere of this neighborhood is truly captivating. The wall paintings add an artistic touch, creating a picturesque backdrop for unforgettable photographs. What stood out for me was the opportunity to find affordable yet memorable souvenirs. The variety of items available made it easy to pick up unique keepsakes, ensuring I have tangible memories of my visit.Additionally, Singapore Chinatown's religious sites contribute to the rich cultural tapestry. The spiritual ambiance adds depth to the overall experience. Whether you're a tourist or a local, this place offers a wonderful blend of tradition and modernity. In summary, Singapore Chinatown is a must-visit for anyone seeking a delightful immersion into culture, art, and affordable treasures. Highly recommended!

I am so glad I came here at night. It is very happening, it is still peaceful for a night walk but at the same time not too disturbing by the nightlife which is perfect! In front of the red pagoda there are a lot of stalls selling late dinner at a very reasonable price.

there are many places to eat here and places to buy cheap souvenirs. but i don't eat because i'm muslim and i'm confused whether it's halal or not. but for Chinese and foreigners (from Europe or USA) who visit here really enjoy eating here. looks delicious, I want to try it😭😭😭 I only stopped briefly at the souvenir shop and then I went to the bus stop to go to the Merlion, but this place is very pleasing to the eye with its ornamentation.

Like any other chinatown except this one being Singapore have the added feeling of being in a safe place plus it is clean though old already (I meant the place) but there is a better mall across the street which also a subway station. I’d figured out this would be a better place for the locals in getting their needs at a cheaper price but this is also a nice place to tour around just have the feel of the place.

Been going here for years, I like everything about Chinatown Point ?? Chinatown Point has a great mix of almost everything: Lots of very nice (but not expensive) restaurants, Stores that sell almost anything, including one of my favorites, Daiso. Also NTUC Fair Price for groceries. Clothing stores, travel agencies, books, +++, I love it all here Great mall management here, keeps clean & fresh with good mix of stores Entrance direct from Chinatown MRT. Bridge & underoasses to other buildings Also clean, reasonable price parking on higher floors.

In here mostly they are selling food (Non Halal). Clothing is also available from inside the building. There is also a wide selection of medicinal herb from the street shop. They also provide a tester there. There is also some store that sells tea and you can also drink inside with your friends. The seller here mostly can speak english so you don't have to worry about communication. There is also store that sells souvenir, keychain, phone case or some chinesee small statue. For myself, A singapore es Potong and Ointment from one of the shop is the thing i am looking to continue my long vacation.

Chinatown is a place to see and experience Chinese art, culture etc. Although modernization has altered everybody's life style still we can see traditional businesses here. We get souvenirs and gift items here. Chinese type dresses and required materials for their rituals is commin here. For those who love Chinese cuisine it is available in many places here.

I love the place and the friendliness of the shopkeepers and restaurants. The ambience and the Asian touch lived to my hype. I came late though and some shops were already closed but overall, my experience was amazing. I also liked the halal food shop and the mosque near the entrance of Chinatown. It's a beautiful and diverse environment.

Interesting mix of the old and new ! Been renovated so has some modern appeal but they've kept the circular walkway around the atrium albeit partly with escalator. For a local, it can still evoke some nostalgia but for the newer set and tourists (pandemic restrictions aside) it can be a quaint crossroads of sorts. The tau sar piah shop just as one enters the main doorway has bright lighting that is modernist but their offerings are still good old fashioned yummy - best eaten within the day of purchase to ensure fresh crispness of the base !

The place is much more quiet after enforcing new rules due covid. Now it's lesser crowd, more walking space and less waiting for seats if u r dinning there. It's convenient due to strategic location, underground walkway from MRT exit E may bring u to destination. Many eateries around the area but with specific operation hours.
