The owner, pak Abdullah will explain to you every single artifacts in his museum.. He allowed you to take pictures but please don't touch his artifacts yaaa.. There is a beach beside the museum & the scenery is nice.. I hope the government can help him to expand his own museum because I've been to Johor few times already & the big museums such as Muzium Di Raja Abu Bakar & Muzium Sultan Ibrahim was closed, each & every time I went there..

This museum started by an individual collector showing his collection plus a little history on Bugis and Johor sultanate. For a free entrance, I guess no reason for not visiting if you are nearby.

I didn't find anyone guarding the museum when i went there. It was a small and neat museum. They do need a little bit of improvement but a small museum like this are individually owned and the upkeep of such place is costly. There's no entrance fee. You can find a great collection of cutlery, old Magazines, novels, weaponry and so on. I'm a museum enthusiast so I'd love for people to just go and visit it but if you're not interested in history, you don't have to come here.

A very small but informative museum with lots of artifacts and introduction to Bugis culture. No entrance fee but we can make donations so that the place is well maintained.

Want to know about Bugis culture? Have a visit here. A lot of artifacts and information here. Spending your holiday time should be nice at this history museum with your children and family. Free entry but consider to donate some money for renovations and other else. There is some stalls/cafeteria beside and the toilet is behind the museum.

Privately maintained by locals here, where you can learn about the heritage of Bugis people, their ancestors, how they came over to the mainland, artifacts, and collection of Bugis antiques will amaze your visit. There is also about three food stalls where they serve local dishes and cuisines in a very kampung atmosphere beside the museum. The best dishes certainly Mak Jah's Mee Goreng Mamak Daging and Mee Hoon Goreng Kampung Daging coupled with Pak Ajis's Ginger Pull Tea certainly will make you want more. Suitable place for people of all ages, families and visitors who come over Pontian to enjoy the village style of Rambah town.

    1. This museum is right on the seaside. In addition to visiting the museum, you can also enjoy the sea breeze. 2. If you want to know more about the history of how the BUGIS people crossed the ocean and took root in the Malay Peninsula, you can also visit this museum. 3. Whether the BUGIS people are pirates or not? The information here shows that this is an excuse for the colonists to excuse themselves and rationalize the occupation of BUGIS land. Stigmatize BUGIS people to make their appropriation behavior look less shameful. 4. This issue has caused a war of words between Mahathir, Najib and the Sultan of Selangor. Mahathir also offended the Sultan of Selangor by accusing the BUGIS people of being pirates, and was eventually forced to return the medal to the palace. 5. However, the exhibits in this museum are actually not interesting. 6. A lot of it is just written information, and frankly, it’s a bit sloppy. A bit shabby, not like a "proper" museum

A free entry museum Which you can spend 20 to 30 minutes here to gain the knowledge of Orang Bugis. You may ask person in charge the story of cups (Hang Li Po). The end of the road is strait Melaka, you may climb up a 3 storeys "tower" to see the great views.

A small Bugis museum plus other artifacts of the older generation. Arrived at 5 pm and we were the only ones visiting this place. No entrance fee is required but donations are most welcome. Apparently the founder of this museum passed away 5 years ago and now managed and maintained by the founder's daughter. The Johore Sultanate family tree can be found here too. A must to visit for those liking in history and old things used by our elders.

An educational museum where you learn about the origin of Bugis in Malaysia. Many historical items were kept in there. In addition, it is a great place to bring your family here because there are also some recreational park and restaurant.

Small museum with personal affects related to Bugis culture. Some artefacts were cool, others cannot be considered artefacts but more of collectibles from 80s - 90s.

I will not detour to this museum / beach the next time. The museum descriptions are mostly in Malaya which prevents non natives from enjoying them.
