It is a nice long walking stretch. I started from Lower Seletar Reservoir with the PCN connecting to Spring Leaf Nature Park with nice jogging trail along the canal. Witnessed an amazing sunset. It is a nice walk. Will try going all the way to Upper Reservoir next time or Thomson Nature Park. Haven't explored that yet.

Small, quaint and enjoyable waterfront park close to the MRT and bus stops with a scenic bridge, playground, viewing platform and the usual facilities. Well worth a visit to stroll around any time.

This place is nice but nothing much to explore unlike other sg national parks. It doesn't have any play area for kids. Walking track to is not that great. Yes, it's close to water and there is greenery. I don't think we have any sunset views here. Also, I didn't get to experience any cool breeze (atleast on the day we visited) . It's ok to go once to check.

Nice park that is close to Springleaf MRT. The park is well maintained and easy for family to take a stroll along the nature park. Visit this park in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the afternoon sun because there is limited shelter.

Morning jog at Springleaf Nature Park along with cyclists on Sunday morning and embracing the quietness and fresh morning air. The jog along this nature park had definitely elevated my Sunday morning to that of an awe inspiring day. The greenery and the quietness of the nature with occasional sight of dragonflies intermittently resting and taking off from the lotus plant floating along the stretch at the park. Peace & tranquility blanketed the park with some puffy clouds hovering above the sky. My next visit would be cycling along this park & the vicinity park connector!

Every nature park in Singapore is so precious and we should appreciate nature more. The park here is small but served as a resting point of sorts for longer hikes ahead. One can plan the route to be more adventurous by hiking from Thompson nature park to Springleaf nature park and proceed on either to Lower or Upper Seletar reservoir.

Nice and quaint park, can be crowded with cyclists. Minimum shelter, can get quite hot if sunny. Can link all the way to lower seletar reservoir via PCN. Carpark available and there is also a small playground for children.

My first time at Springleaf Nature Park. It’s about 5 mins walk from Springleaf MRT. It’s a 1.5 hours walk to Lower Seletar Reservoir. The place is quiet and you can hear the birds chirping. There’s a spot for birdwatching. The river connects to the reservoir and the view is great. There are runners and cyclists but not over crowded (yet!). Spotted a otter 🦦. There are plenty of water lilies and they are beautiful.

A tad underwhelming, but good job there on the part of the relevant authorities in their rewilding efforts! Bird watchers, please bring along your binoculars. You will see wildlife there, including chickens that fly, monitor lizards on the side banks, birds of various varieties, and creatures and living organisms along the river bed. Gorgeous water lilies to behold!

5 minutes walk from Springleaf MRT station, this connecter is an unspoilt and serene water-side nature trail, which is great for walking, jogging and cycling. Sightings of rare birds. monitor lizards, snakes and otters are common. Connects to Lower Seletar reservoir park, which is another tranquil oasis. Do note Springleaf park connecter is not suitable for young children or picnics, and bring an umbrella as there’s not much shelter.

A small tranquil park with a river centrepiece that has plenty of Water Lilies. The park is easily accessible from Springleaf MRT Station. Food and Toilet are available at the main entrance. There is also a carpark next to the cafeteria for those who drive.

Serene and peaceful park with lots of beautiful mature trees and plants. Situated next to a canal that is connected to the Lower Seletar Reservoir, there are plenty of wildlife to look out for, including squirrel, monitor lizard, and even an occasional green snake. A good place to immerse in nature for a walk and run.

Kind small like most parks are, this is more of a connector park than a proper one like bishan or Yishun park. Saw a monitor lizard (I think?) and a frog that I couldn't see seem to be stalking me from the reservoir (lol)

What I heard from some pioneer generation is that the Springleaf Nature Park was formerly part of the Chan Chu Kang village. The headman Chan Ah Lak. The park can leads to the Lower Seletar Reservoir Park. Both will give you different scenic views. Cheers.

This is a clever use of space by NParks. Possibly an ABC project too. Walking and cycling paths were constructed along the waterways to consitute the park. There is a car park, public toilets and a restaurant at the front of this park.

Not over crowded. Easy parking. Very small park though.

  • 4/5 maos19781 4 years ago on Google
Tiny park nestled within some landed properties, with a carpark of its own. Its just a 2 minute walk from the nearest bus stop. The toilets there are well maintained and brightly lit, unlike some other parks where the toilets are often in semi-darkness and loaded with commando mosquitoes. The toilets are not just well maintained, but often have toilet paper inside the cubicles too, which is something quite rare within a park. Within the main park itself the total time needed to walk from one end to the other end takes almost 5 minutes at most if you stroll leisurely. But to walk to the end of the park connector trail along the river, it might take up to 15 or 20 minutes. There are lots of wildlife to see along the park connector trail, birds, aquatic life and lots of flora. Even saw a large monitor lizard swimming in the river once. But do note that the park connector trail has no shelter at all except for a lookout point somewhere in the middle.

(Translated by Google) SpringLeaf Nature Park This park is basically a runway along the river, surrounded by forests with cisterns. It is very suitable for people who like to run and walk. There are no fitness and amusement facilities here. It is purely in contact with nature and walks. It is worth mentioning that there are many rare birds here. Many experts bring well-equipped cameras to hunt them down. Today, I had luck meeting the otters family for breakfast.

Nice park for a run or a walk with canal and water all along the way. A few nice bridges provide good viewing points, or a quiet place to observe nature. The visitor center provides history of the area, and nature education to inform your hike, plus water fountain, and toilet facilities. You can connect via walking trail directly from lower seletor reservoir trail to add it to your hike.

Compact but tranquil park. Easily accessible from the new Thomson East Coast Line, Springleaf Station. Blast from the past from the exhibits on display, explaining the history of Sungei Seletar and Orang Laut. Also spotted quite a bit of wildlife, including monitor lizards (spot the hidden treasure in the photo). Made for a leisurely hangout. Minor downside is the lack of shade along the footpaths if the sun happens to be particularly hot.
