SkateDragons @ Somerset Skate Park

Skateboard park Coaching center

🫤 Used to be a really fun park to skate, but the recent competition redesign made it a lot worse. No more flat rail, no long ledge/curb/manual pad, ~70% of the park is virtually unused at any given moment, because the new features just aren't great and people don't enjoy skating them. Unfortunate. People often mention skate,

Excellent and clean tidy and sporty place to skate safely without the danger of road traffic and accidently injuring the spectating crowds and the skater. Cosy and comfy relaxing yet exciting way to skate in the mid of busy Orchard Road. Rejuvenating and healthy way to release the abundant excess energy of the youths and the young in hearts. Nice and thrilling alternative to relief anxiety distress agitation and hollow indulgences.

I feel like this skatepark is pretty good in my opinion, however the skate lessons that they have inside are pretty annoying. Some of the skate teachers tell their students to stand somewhere to teach them and most of the time they are all standing on the hip blocking the way for other people to use it. But if you go there in the morning it can be amazing!

Nice place to hangout and enjoy the sunset without seeing the sun. Place to interact with Singapore pop culture. Becuase of the place you can find all kind of people, graffiti artist, skaters of all kind of wheels, branded boutique shopper, businessman, foreign worker, tourist, and student. Come after 4 pm and before 11 pm.

My child went to a party at skate sports at Somerset, and I had to provide my email address. Since then, I have received a steady stream of unwanted marketing emails from them. My boy told me that he didn't enjoy himself at all. Overall, extremely disappointing.

Firstly, the registration process looks like a SCAM, I can’t find any fee information in the website, but when trying to register, they asked me to key Credit Card details including CVV without telling me how much I need to pay and it was not a secured payment, so technically they can charge any amount they want. Secondly, when I asked the CS officer via email about this and the fee , there was no reply despite 2 follow ups. They only reply to my program question email but ask me to go to the website instead Very very suspicious!!

Beware of this organization if you had the intention of signing up classes with them. My family had a horrible experience as we purchased the holiday camp classes from them. We booked the first lesson during december for our son but on the first day of lesson we waited more than half an hour with other parents and their kids, but no instructor showed up. After that we managed to contact the instructor from skatedragon and he told us there was no class on that day itself. There were totally no notification about the class being rescheduled or cancelled whatsoever! Demanded an explanation and/or refund but the staff chose to went missing in action instead. Didn't picked up the phone call, never reply to whatsapp messages and emails. What a horrible organisation!
