Like Jurong's malls, Tampines's malls, and all the other heartland malls, this is just the heartland malls for folks staying around Sembawang. There are a lot of food options, from the cheapest to the most extensive. But I personally don't quite like the vibes upon entering the mall. It's a little messier, the quality of the furnishing of the mall feels a little cheaper, and there's nothing much to do or shop for, other than if you're here for food. Was here for HDL; we came, and we left, that's about it. Didn't quite enjoy my HDL experience either, sadly. Maybe another try another time, but I don't see why I'd come back to this mall ever again in the near future, other than for a road trip, or to meet friends.

I rarely review a non eatery however this needs to be said. Was at Sun Plaza and happened to walk into this Miniso. Walked around looking for some toys for my nephews. Found a Lego looking animal figurine, a Jengga type blocks and a few other knick knacks. As I was walking towards the cashier counter I overheard the lady staff explaining to a customer some promo items or deals etc. Since she was busy I just lingered around. What caught my attention more was how this lady kept on explaining over and over again to the customer. Her disposition did not change and there definately wasn't any sound of annoyance as she kept explaining to the customer. She remained cheerful and happy. Moving on, my turn came and I was at the counter. She cheerfully repeated to me what the promo was and I of cause agreed to getting the additional item. Do bear in mind that I don't need another bottle of perfume ... hahaha. She was nice, pleasant, continues to promote the purchase with purchase promo and all the while smiling. That's what I call customer service. Very impressed. Staff like these should be retained and recognised for their work. Its just delightful. I for one, do appreciate it. Good job. Ps : she was shy to take a pic so I told her to be mysterious and cover her face and I got her permission to post it here. Staff : 5 / 5 Products : 3 / 5 Ambience : 4 / 5

This shopping mall is located just in front of Sembawang mrt station which is the most northern part of Singapore. I like the Mac Donald outlet here which is cosy and spacious and is always open 24 hrs every day. B1 is where the Ntuc supermarket is located and there is a Koufu food court at Level 3. The public library at level 5 is also very nice and cosy with lots of sofa seats. However, shops are limited due to the size of the mall which is rather small.

Alight at red MRT line Sembawang and take about 3 mins walk to get to his heartland mall. Tons of residents in the north frequent Sun Plaza as it is convenient and has a variety of retail shops to cater to everyone. Level 1 has a McDonald and Decathlon. Walk into the mall where lots of food can be found along the pathway. Level 2 has a BBQ and steamboat Chinese restaurant, you will be able to find an outlet of HaiDiLao here at this level. Level 3 has a Kopitiam, there's another Chinese restaurant serving grilled fish and charcoal BBQ skewers. There is a library here too. Although this mall is poorly designed, causing most pathway to be quite narrow and thus social distancing could be an issue, this is still a mall to frequent for it's convenience.

A friendly, one stop neighbourhood mall. A wide variety of food outlets. Stop by this cozy heartland mall and check out the retail stores to satisfy your shopping crave if you don't want to head downtown.

Beside children gifts, basic cosmetics, Miniso selling budger gadgets too. Ie: table led lamp, fan, computer wireless keyboard & wireless mouse, etc. All under house brand. I have used them many years still in good condition. Cheap n good , recommended to all. Today I bought one more wireless mouse for my Macbook Air. $9.90 Only, nice!

I love this mall. Easy to move around as its small. Seems like a third of the mall are made up of a great mix the most popular fast food.

Brought my family here primarily for the library, since it was quite nearby our house. The library itself is quite big and has areas for children and adults. As for the rest of the shopping mall, I felt that there wasn't a good selection of restaurants to eat from, and I saw some only on the 1st and 3rd floors. Neither was there a good amount of department stores, unfortunately. There is a large food court on the 4th floor.

It's a decent shopping mall, but it really seems to lack the options of many others even only 2 MRT stations away. However if you are a local it has most things you would need with a few options as well. Walking space is a bit of a luxury here though even without many people in the shopping mall.

Oh, Sun Plaza in Singapore, where do I even begin? This place is like a hidden gem, nestled in the heart of the bustling city. I stumbled upon it by accident, and it turned out to be one of the best accidents of my life! First off, let me just say, I don't know if the sun is always shining here, but it certainly feels like it. The moment I walked in, I felt like I'd been transported to a tropical paradise. Maybe it's the sunshine-themed décor or the friendly staff who greeted me with smiles warmer than the actual sun – who knows? Now, I'm not the most hardcore shopper, but Sun Plaza has this incredible ability to make me part with my hard-earned money without me even realizing it. There are so many shops and boutiques that I couldn't resist splurging a bit. It's like retail therapy on steroids, and my wallet was begging for mercy! And don't even get me started on the food! Sun Plaza has a food court that's a foodie's dream come true. From local delights to international cuisine, you can embark on a culinary adventure that will leave your taste buds dancing. I swear, I ate so much that I practically rolled out of there like a human spring roll! The best part is that Sun Plaza isn't just about shopping and eating. They have this fantastic rooftop garden where you can relax and take in the stunning views of the city. It's the perfect place to pretend you're on a luxurious vacation while actually being in the middle of Singapore. In summary, Sun Plaza is like that friend who always knows how to make you laugh and have a good time. It's a shopping paradise, a foodie's dream, and a sunny escape from the daily grind. So, if you're in Singapore, do yourself a favor and bask in the glory of the Sun Plaza – just remember to bring some sunscreen for your wallet!

I only issue is, where is the cinema?!. The top few levels are populated with tuition centers and library. It used to be a mall I patron after school. Now is a mall that I would tried to avoid. No more entertainment there.

A small but well equipped mall with most things that you’ll need. Worth mentioning are the White Restaurant which sells the famous white bee hoon, Decathlon small atomic shop and pick up, SKP Party Supplies, Library, Challenger, Starbucks, Bubble Teas, Saizereya, Lao Huo Tang, NTUC, guardian, Watson’s, Ya Kun, Pontian, Stuff’d etc. Macs and KFC too So lots of options for your shopping and eating or drinking needs. Quite ample parking, slope from NTUC directly down to car park.

my family and i visit sun plaza since my childhood, and it's my favorite hangout for many reasons: 1) the sembawang national library; it's been there since forever, and i love it so much!! 2) the skating square right next to sun plaza; i've skated there once; it's flat ground and good for practicing rollerblading! 3) swensen's; my all-time favorite restaurant, though it's expensive! the mozarella cheesesticks there are perfect. 4) popular food places; mcdonalds, kfc, dunkin donuts, starbucks, etc!

Not a very big shopping mall, but you can find most of the famous food stall or restaurants here, Hai Di Lao, Swensen's, Stuff'd, Saizeriya, Crave, Shushi express, WokHey, Mcd, KFC, KOI, Liho, RnB and etc. And there's a value shop, gift shops. Just a comment, after Stuff'd opened newly at middle of the mall, there's always queue at self service panel, space become narrow to walk thru

A medium sized neighbourhood mall. It used to have a theatre but now replaced by the library. Plenty of eateries. SIM SIANG CHOON has an outlet on the third floor with a wide variety of vanity tops, sinks, water closets, faucets etc. We bought most of our renovation stuffs there under one roof at competitive price. Japan Home has a good selection of household items. Valudollar for bargain hunters. There is always Atrium sales on the second level atrium. Food vourt run by KOUFU is always crowded and has wide variety. The mall only needs to improve their restrooms. Overall a pleasant neighbourhood mall.

It is a very cool suburban mall for residents living in the North to go to. Despite it being much smaller than malls like Northpoint City and Causeway Point, it still has its strengths in terms of the number of restaurants available. It has not failed to give a proper ambience for everyone.

This is a review on Ahnaaf Money Changer at Sun Plaza. Closed earlier than advertised. Man was a behind the counter and was super rude. I say, so yourself a favour and don’t go there! The mall itself is small but its amenities are adequate. Great for grocery shopping (NTUC), quick meal (foodcourt), junk food, a dozen of restaurants and bake goods. Time for refurbishment perhaps.

Visited Sun Plaza with my mum today by MRT which is just next door. Had lunch here and walked around after some shopping at FairPrice. It's nice to walk around as not too crowded. Have a good no of shops here for a heartlander mall here. Overall, I think this mall, it's location and MRT next door is splendid and convenient for people living around here. Will visit again soon. 😄👍
