Old school mall, peppered with some pubs, spa , eateries, ...one of those last shopping mall turning into little entertainment hub.. with basically little retailers left...come to chill in coffeeshop style coffee, food...affordable, reasonable entertainment...great for lonely and bored soul...

Happened to pass by Textile Centre and bought the glitter ribbons which can be stick-on or iron on for either clothes or shoes. You can get fabric, sewing materials and accessories in 3 shops there. There are also sewing machines available for sale.

Mostly, this areas car trading the most..if keen to purchase any cars model can survey there from 2nd floor to the top.A number of car trading companies there but beware racky, 1st before purchase or else regret. All their cars post different price stated as 0 dp when you turn up another add in story and price. All company same tactics. they just be aware of their tactics ..But there are a few genuine and transparent deal.Thats why repeat customer or either recommend by others to the specific dealer I guess

Textile centre has merchants selling wedding gowns, beauty centre, tailors making uniforms, suits for men, toys, army gears, etc . There is union of security employees, security offices too. Food here are not much of a choice. Public going to Textile centre, can take MRT to Lavender MRT, then take bus 107/107M to sultan plaza. It is about 3 minutes walk to Textile centre from the bus stop.

Definitely this CENTER is NOT a beginner user friendly👎🏽…. You need to be thorough enough on the subject before signing up a course, as I joined UX design and had to quit in the second class itself but my money was refunded promptly though. I was able to accomplish the same UX design certification from a renowned centre on the same subject later.

It's one of the older establishments that has seen better days. Hope they can rejuvenate with more nick nack shops specialising in hobby crafts. it is very centrally located, near 2 MRT stations.

I mainly use the Maybank lobby there. Not crowded, handicap access available with plenty of parking in HDB car park behind the complex besides the complex's car park

I’m an American traveling and stumbled upon Surface Noise by way of a recommendation. Not a fan of punk, hardcore, and metal genres but the store owner spun some tunes and he turned me on to Royal Headache from Australia and I wound up leaving with a 2 lp compilation of the Undertones from Northern Ireland which he also played. Scored two great bands from this store. A trip well worth while . I’ll be back.

It's an old condo cum commercial building, with old neighbourhood kind of feel everyone knows everyone. The nearby business are also rustic feel. It's an old neighbourhood with colourful past and rich culture. The nearby Arab Street foods and Muslim cultural center will attract alot of foodies. Its a typical representation of how Singapore a multi racial society mixed. All walks of life come together to eat and have fun.

It is an old building it has its quirks and some of the kind of shops which you will not see in many other places in Singapore the reason this place is very popular is because of the car park rates are quite affordable so many of the second-hand car dealers display there cars in the car park and to get a place like this in the city it is very hard so from that point of view it is a good location there are many tailoring and fabric shops obviously because it is the textile center but I doubt whether they are doing good business.

Was a little shocked when I first step out of level 8. The corridor felt eerie and I was stun for awhile. I almost wanted to “go-stun” and leave. But the still air was very peaceful and the building structure was unique. As if I’m in a space ship. I’m very curious how the residential units looks like internally. The photos were taken in 2021z I was there again recently and on ground level there were stalls selling antiques, cakes and jewellery. Very nostalgic, come support these owners.

Was invited to dinner at this restaurant on the ground floor… Not bad… There’s also some shops open but didn’t walk after as it was already 8.45pm…

Nostalgia of old age, and a musky presence coats the shopping plaza in memories. Has been a long while since I last visit but the escalator and the 1980s car parking hasn't changed much in decades since.

Really old place but it’s here that you find a trustworthy sports retailer known affectionately as ‘Ah Chuan’. Affable and honest. Unlikely some at Queensway shopping centre. From tennis to badminton to squash… he has them. Fair pricing and always a smile for you.

Great place for anything related to textiles with sewing machines, small tools, textiles and so much more. Also has a coffee shop and several hair dressers.
