The food is excellent!!! “Perfecto!” says my 8-year old. And “super yummy!” says my 4-year old. Authentic British fish and chips, chill environment, great vibes, friendly team. Had a great experience!

First time here and the food certainly was good. Had the Steak & Ale pie and the spicy wing sticks. The Spitfire Ale was nice. The Fish Battered Hoki n Chips was fantastic.

Found this place in Changi Road, Kiat the Barman was a super nice chap. Polite, professional and made you feel very welcome. The pork chop and mash is a must, cooked to perfection. Great selection of beers and cider. Highly recommended. We will be going back.

The owner is friendly and recommended a number of British style beer. Nice bar in the middle of a neighbourhood. We tried the cottage pies, steak and ale pie and the meat lover’s pizza. They are good and we will be back!

Draught beer is fresh and nice. Butterflied chicken wing was roasted to perfect crisp, nice to pair with beer. Pork chop is juicy delicious, first choice as main course. Bar in good vibes. Nice place to chill and bite.

Went with my father last night. First time to Pig & Whistle as I wanted to visit their neighbour Little Italy instead but it was full. Went in and was warmly greeted. Ordered the Pork Chop, Fish & Chips, and 2 Pints of beer @ $20! Food took long as I think they only had a chef on duty last night. My Fish & Chips was absolutely delicious and portion was huge. I think I was lucky as I gotten another small piece as well(looked though the pictures that others posted and it’s always 1 big piece). Pork Chop was flavourful, just a bit tough. All in all, a very nice place to visit and see u guys again soon! :D

Little restaurant tuck in the Eunos neighbour. Fish & chip was one of the better ones in SG. Like that the pizza was thin crust and flavourful! Pork chop is also quite unique as its thick cut. Other food was average. Overall quite a good and affordable dining place!

Fantastic food. Fish and chips had amazing batter. Sausages (Bangers and Mash) were delicious as well. The fried mars bar was surprisingly great. Definitely worth a visit just for the food!

An excellent place to visit and chill for the evening. Even on our first visit, Tarun made us feel like we were regulars and had been going there for years. The fish n chips are probably the best in Singapore and the steak pie n chips was excellent as well. I haven't had a deep fried Mars bar since leaving the UK nearly 25 years ago and was not disappointed. We sampled quite a few of the many British beers on offer. The Plum Porter is a personal favourite. We will be back soon - save some crumpets for us please!

First time trying with my bro who stumbled via Google Maps. Excellent food and service, with a cosy ambience for chilling out. Will definitely come back for the rest of the menu! And thank you for the recommendation of Black Velvet - it was nice to try something new :)

1st visit here together with my wife, tried the fish n chips and also the pork chop. They were excellent and well cooked to perfection, also had a nice chat with the owner, very friendly and makes you feel comfortable dining there, will definitely return to try out the other dishes.

Loved the fish and chips here. They used New Zealand hoki which was flaky, fresh and cooked to perfection. I did feel the Guinness was slightly thin but 1,000% would revisit for the fish and chips. Owner was also very friendly

Fish and chips were wonderful! Perfect mix of batter and fish, unlike other places which are 80% batter 20% fish. Fries were soo nice and crispy too, and the The River IPA was great! I loved it and gave a 2 dollar tip, will be coming back!

Great place for some dinner and beers. We have the fish and chips and I tried the burger. Burger was juicy and well seasoned and you could tell a lot of thought and process went into its making. The fish and chips were light with great batter and absolutely don’t forget the malt vinegar. The owner is friendly and welcoming - likes to get to know his customers and get their feedback.

Was at this neighbourhood pub twice last weekend. One for a quick Fri night drink and subsequently on Sun for brunch. Like the simple setting and friendly staff. Drinks may be slightly limited but that is not a problem with me. The house wine is not too bad and their craft beer is good. Had their fish and chips - nicely done. Pork chop looks and tastes good too (based on my one bite). May need to make reservation for evening but Sun morning was quiet (just how i like it). Can foresee myself coming back to this place in the near future 😊

Came down here to try the English breakfast, portion was bit small, was expecting some grilled tomatoes, at least two pieces of bacon but was only served one piece. The mushroom is over seasoned with salt, but the sourdough bread balanced some of the salt out. However, the sausage is juicy and delicious; once again expecting at least two piece of sausage since they called it a “full english breakfast” Overall still satisfy some of the cravings I have, the breakfast taste decent and would come back again to try the fish and chips instead since most of the reviews for this place is raving about it.

The Guinness draft is super good somehow. I think cos it's fresh. The food, if it arrives correctly, is actually pretty good. Some basic but consistantly tasty options. Good fish and chips. Good steak and ale pie (but v small). Good blue cheese burger. I think only thing I don't like is the calamari though, cos it's a super oily, but even still not gross (the calamari itself in the batter is still quite nice, not dried up).

Authentic experience, good food, with great service! The picture taken doesn’t do justice to the taste of the Fish and Chips ordered. Nicely battered fish, touch of vinegar to give the acidity, and the chips had my desired level of “crunchiness”. Had good assistance to help me better decide which beer I should get. Will be back to try other items on the menu!

My wife and I patronized this establishment evening. It was our very first visit. I had a couple of half pints of draft Guinness and my wife had a draft heart of darkness IPA ( I think). We shared a plate of their "free range" bone in pork shop. Its mentioned on their website the weight is 250grams but it looked a lot less. The pork shop was cooked well, mashed potatoes were excellent and we liked the sauce it came with. The young female managing the bar was very accommodating and we struck up a good conversation. We also paid complements to the cook/chef when he came out of his "cooking den". It was quiet only a couple of people probably because it was fairly early in the evening and we liked that.

We had the Bangers and Mash. I have to say, it was pretty good. The bangers themselves were tasty and filling, and the mash potatoes are very flavourful, with a lot of onions. I enjoyed it very much. We had intended to try the pies, but unfortunately they were not available. Apparently the pastry skin was out of stock.

We went on a Sunday during lunch time. Only customers in the place. Chef was the only person in the place so he had to do double duty of cooking plus front of house. He seemed a little grouchy at the beginning. However, food was excellent. My wife's Fish & Chips were perfectly executed and the Steak 'N Ale pie was delicious. I had the Hogstar Lager and it was gooood. Chef was a little more friendly towards the end of the meal when he asked if I would like a second beer. It must be a tough time for F&B owners out there so I hope gems like this place survive.

Great inhouse lager on tap. Proprietor's proposal and it didn't go wrong. The pork chops were beautiful. They really take pride in the output. Usually pork chops in singapore pubs are way overdone but these guys know what it should be like.

Fish and chips is good here. Was there on a Sunday. They had an ongoing 1-1 beer till 830pm but do check with the bar. Just a note that the music indoors is quite loud. So if anything, suggest that the shop lowers the volume and change the genre of music. Carpark available at the basement.

Loved their generous portion of fish and chips. Beer batter was more or less on point. However, the salt seasoning wasn't evenly spread out resulting in bits and pieces of the crumbs being slightly salty. Fish served was considered quite fresh. A decent meal.

Hidden gem along Changi Road. Chanced upon this bar when we were finding a cosy place to chill on a Friday evening. The owner was super friendly and attentive to our needs. Drinks were great, 2 pints fresh guiness at $19 during happy hours. They also serve a wide variety of food. Would definitely return; and recommend for people to check out this place! Thanks for the great service! 👍🏻

Came here for the steak n ale pie and the burger. The steak n ale was really tasty. The pastry was crispy and the beef chunks were very tender. The blue cheese in the burger is fantastic.

On a rainy Sunday afternoon, the place looks dead, you couldn't tell it's open before you reach the door. Had a full English breakfast, the food took a long time to come, especially considering there was barely any other patrons at the time. Food was good but unfortunately not enough for a hungry stomach. They should seriously think of upgrading their portions of beans, mushrooms and bread. It looked little in the plate and expectedly couldn't fill me up. Would consider coming back at night for a beer.

Generous serving of fish and chips. (Enough for two if you get a side). Very crisp batter and soft fish, with the best tartar sauce I’ve ever tasted. Staff was quick and efficient. Waiting time was quite long but the lovely food made up for it.

Went there for drinks. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Thanks! However, I think all staff should wear a mask, especially when serving customers and when preparing drinks. My friend also noted that bare hands were used to remove the foam from the top of the pint. Not too nice especially in this current situation. If not for that I would have given 5 stars!

Chill vibes in this hidden gem, food was really delicious! We had fish and chips, and lasagna - both were really good. The fish and chips were freshly cooked and had good batter to fish ratio. Lasagna came with yummy freshly toasted garlic bread, super hearty and cheesy. Great prices and attentive service too! Will be back :)

From my experience here I am mortified. I ordered lasagna and the meat was off, I mean sour tasting and stinky. My hot dog was also under cooked, nice way to get food poisoning don't you think? My fries were also cold and soggy. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Super friendly owner, great service as he was checking in us to see how we were doing. Beer battered Fish n chips had the classic taste, generous portions the size of a forearm. Fries sufficiently salty and crunchy Legit steak and ale pie as well. The sauce paired extremely well with the chunky steak cubes in the crispy pastry crust Will definitely return again! Please do support the owner in these harsher covid times

Food portion was indeed large but was really oily hence not pleasant (ordered rosti with bacon and fish&chips, too). Ordered ‘black tea’ on their menu — unlike the regular of a pot of black tea, what was served was a small cup of English breakfast without tea bag and nonrefillable for $5..... Ambience was OK and quite well designed as a bistro and bar. However, it’s open kitchen concept + aircon and the ventilation wasnt too great... also room for improvement for cleanliness as the tables looked as if they were only roughly cleaned with leftover chilly sauce here and there.
