Nice place to spend time with natural beauty. But very less type of birds and Insects. Few butter fly. Go in morning time for see active butterfly. Parrots are trained to speak. You can touch few of them but softly. Yes too expensive as per no of things you will see there. For butter fly photography take good lens including macro if you want some good shots.

Just to echo previous reviews, this place is appalling and sadly, it was a terrible experience. Before explaining, I just want to say that all of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable (no concerns there) and the birds seemed healthy and in good condition. However, literally everything else was either dead or decrepit: 1. Out of the entire insect kingdom, only meal worms, cockroaches and stick insects were still alive. Everything else is dead - The beetles and spiders had all been left to die in their boxes. It's horrific in there. 2. Everything is in awful condition: There is dirt all over the floor, mould on the walls & signs. Even the wooden walkways are close to collapsing. There's just a general feeling that it hasn't been looked after. 3. In the butterfly kingdom, there were perhaps only 5-7 butterflies. I've been to numerous butterfly houses and they somehow manage it. This place has just stopped trying. Overall, it's just been left to fall into disrepair. Additionally, I spoke to the manager (Jayson) who promised a refund, but after weeks of emailing with no response or refund, I think he was just lying about any compensation for an awful experience. Do not go here unless you just what to see a run-down building of dead insects. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Nice place for insect and butterfly lovers. Lots of information is being displayed on various types of insects and flies which is rare to see anywhere. Beautiful designed and maintained. Worth the visit for nature lovers. It is situated at Sentosa island in Singapore. Around 2 hours are needed to roam entire park, read info and click pictures.

It’s an amazing & beautiful park for butterflies & insects of different varieties. There’s a lot to learn about butterflies from this place. Staff are very supportive and eager to explain & clear our enquiries. In addition to the park, there’s a museum for Butterflies with lot of information. There’s more than Butterflies and Insects at this attraction to explore. This is in Imbiah, Sentosa island and we used Cable car service.

Don’t come when it rains. Do come with a positive attitude. My daughter and I have been coming to the Butterfly Park for over five years and she still adores it. There are a lot of negative reviews on the Butterfly 🦋 Park probably written by people who came during the rain (when I guess butterflies watch Netflix) or just expected too much. Yes, this place is aging and not to the standard of other Sentosa attractions. It’s more like a three star hotel - lower your expectations and enjoy yourself. I enjoy sitting on the bench as my daughter enjoys the butterflies and birds for an hour or so. The insect display is admittedly from the 90s and nothing to see. But the rest is good family fun. Just don’t expect the ritz Carlton.

Not much to see here. This place is in DESPERATE need of a refresh. It was a terrible experience. 1. The staff were unfriendly and barely around. 2. Out of the entire insect kingdom, the only enclosures with anything inside were the meal worms, cockroaches and stick insects. Every other enclosure is empty. 3. Everything is in awful condition: There is dirt all over the floor, mould on the walls & signs. Even the wooden walkways are close to collapsing. There's just a general feeling that it hasn't been looked after. 4. In the butterfly kingdom, there were perhaps only 3 species of butterflies. I've been to numerous butterfly houses and they somehow manage it. This place has just stopped trying. 5. The whole place is stuffy and hot. Seemed like the air conditioning wasn't even turned on. 6. The lighting is terrible in the museum section. You can barely see the dead insects displayed. 7. There werent much information available beside the enclosure for you to read and learn more about the insects. 8. Repeated displays in the museum just to fill space. Do not go here unless you just what to see a run-down building of dead insects. If I could give it zero stars I would.

This is the worst attraction I’ve seen in Singapore. Went During Jun’21. No butterflies, we were able to spot max 5 of them. Insects all are dead and hanged on walls. Only surviving ones are tick insects. Even Beatles are dead. Worst management, no one taking proper care. Thorough Waste of money !!!

It's a good place for kids. Better not to go during scorching day time.. Due to high humid, you'll not be able to enjoy the place. It's better if we go during any feeding time to see a lot of butterflies. The overall place would take a little over an hour. Insect kingdom is more of things that remind you about the movie MUMMY. Overall a good place but not the best (at least for me)

(Translated by Google) A nice place. Open aviary with parrots. ? Some are straight on outstretched arm. There are a lot of birds, quite interesting. You can wander around. Few shops and places to relax. :( (Original) Красивое место. Открытые вольер с попугаями . ? Некоторые прям на вытянутой руке. Птиц много, достаточно интересно. Можно побродить. Not much to see here. But still worth coming. I personally love seeing the butterflies up close and personal. Even saw the chrysalis and the new butterflies. After that saw the parrots and fed them (need to purchase at the entry counter or online). And then some insects at Insect World. After which is all air-conditioned with some write-ups, pinups of butterflies and moths and insects. So pretty much a less than an hour thingy, if you wish to plan this into your itinerary.

A beautiful place to visit. You get to see varieties of beautiful butterflies. You also get to see their full life cycle in front of you. An interesting concept. Do not miss it.

Not much to see, unsafe - stairs are rickety- dirty and poorly maintained. I really wonder whether the birds and reptiles are properly cared for. This place is a dump. Stay away!!!

There’s nothing much left and there needs to be a major overhaul of the place and more new innovative ideas.

This place looks like it needs a refresh. There's quite a lot of dead butterflies and insects pinned up behind glass enclosures. The exhibits with live specimens have very few species but even with the limited variety, there is hardly any labels to even inform one of what is being displayed.... Could be better

In dire need of up-keeping. Butterflies are there, but most of the insects are missing. Staff is friendly, but the whole experience is a underwhelming.

I have to address a few aspects here. 1) Cost is minimum 16 for adults. This, for the level of presentation, is grossly overpriced. And its tricky, mosquitoes are crazy in there, but its unwise to potentiwlly harm the butterflies by using it. 2) The butterflies wont really come out on a relatively cool day and especially wont after a few hours of rain. So time your visit for this, dont go if it has rained recently. We saw very few, others have said it was amazing in warm sunny conditions. 3) The "insect world" is a TRAVESTY. Every enclosure was dry, dead, and the insects were to. I can guarantee zero insects -beetles, spiders, scorpions - were alive. Shells falling apart, ants eating remains, dusty cobwebs inside. Seriously close this section down or cover it up, and stop embarassing yourselves. I utterly do not recommend this place until they get their house in order.

  • 2/5 Tokyu N. 3 years ago on Google
Nice small collection of Clipper and Rice Paper butterfly. Otherwise the insect kingdom was poorly maintained with no live beetles, perhaps they should close the section instead of leaving the empty tanks around. Informative specimen collection, and very nice parrot interaction/feeding from a helpful lady.

The butterflies inside the park are all beautiful and colorful to view. The birds at the bird feeding are pretty funny to watch as some couple of them looks like scratching each other and some even like beating each other. The staff working inside is also friendly and informative, especially that Indian staff working at the bird feeding area. The insects however is not very attractive and some insects are hard to spot and see.

Like what some of the others have shared, this attraction is not worth it. $16 ticket with nothing much to see. You can complete the whole whole attraction in under 1hr. Some of the animal enclosure is so small, not sure whether the animals are happy? There are insects exhibit as well, but no matter how hard I strain my eyes, can't find any insects in the exhibits... Not sure whether they shifted the insects... Or are the insects dead..... (?)

  • 4/5 Mag L. 2 years ago on Google
The butterflies are all beautiful and colourful to take a lot of photos. There's quite a lot of dead butterflies and insects pinned up behind glass for exhibits. Nice place to spend an hour or so with natural beauty.

It is very disappointing to have visited the Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom... The problem is that Butterfly Park alone is not as big with less then 80 meters of walkway you will be at the end of the nature walk with plants not managed properly, less then 5 species of butterflies flying and resting on leaves and lastly there weren't many of them as we would have hope for. Due to the limited butterflies the attraction, I guess that's why they brought in some Macaws and a Cockatoo... After this section you will pass through a dimly lited walkway with some display of Stick Insects and others with 40% without insects or under renovation. Finally the airconditioned part (ventilation is not as good too) where they display the specimens of Butterflies, Beetles, Insects and some artwork made of specimens... For the price that your pay for.... We felt that this is definitely NOT an attraction that is worth visiting.

Went yesterday but it’s closed. Most places in Sentosa looks deserted. I think may open gradually when Phase 3 kicks in.

(Translated by Google) I went with a friend last March. If you are an insect lover, this will be the most memorable memory of your trip to Singapore. You can see butterflies peculiar to the tropics such as live Aoneageha and Traftateha. Especially, there are many large tree nymphs. Maybe I'm used to humans, and sometimes I get on my hands. cute. I was able to spend an hour here alone. From a distance, you can hear a cicada called Purana usnani. There was also a room with macaws and iguanas, and a room with various insect specimens on display. I was fascinated by the art made from insect specimens. There was also a goods store, so I bought clothes for Birdwing Ageha here. Butterfly specimens were also sold, but they are expensive. There are many tropical butterflies flying in this butterfly park, which are rarely seen in Japan, so if you visit Sentosa Island, you should definitely visit it.

Located in Sentosa island, This place is specialized for butterflies. U can see their evolution as well starting from caterpillar. There is a section where they have different types of insects as well. But we liked the part most where they have birds. With 5 SGD, you can put 2 birds on your shoulder and feed them. Recommended place for butterfly and bird lover alike.

I have got a great experience. I never seen such a beautiful collection of butterfly and insects from every region. You must visit there if you are around. 3 star because alive condition of insect must improve.

The butterflies and caterpillars are so cute! Especially I ❤ ?and?! The parrots are cute and tame! There are also an iguana.? It is tame and has scales. The staff also allows visitors to carry and sáyang it. Although it may be old, it is also cute. So we do not need to be afraid of it biting us.

Terrible, it just a shame to take 20$ for entrance, where you will see some suffering butterflies and insects?, no clear rules how to behave with butterflies, people just grab them in hands?a lot empty Terrariums without insects or prepared dead insects. I know what I tell cause my husband a biologist and we already visited not one butterfly’s parks in different cities. Never ever we will return there?

Unless u r a butterfly lover, otherwise give it a miss. The title of the location is over rated. Place is small, run down and dated. The insects bulk of it are just specimen, not realy live insects and i cannot touch of feel any insects too. Dissapointed. And their website operating hours is not updated with their revised hours! V unprofessional. I end of with give it a miss pls. Save ur $$ elsewhere in SG.

Pitiful, disappointing and total disgrace as a tourist spot. As a full paying ticket admission for a group of 4 pax. This is such a disgrace and disappointment to out national heritage and tourism spot. There is absolutely nothing worth the price. I can feed the parrots lingering outside my home with sunflower seeds. Beetles and museum experience was equally bad. It's a wonder why they are still here. I will never visit this place again and I would urge any tourist not to. It is a disgrace and disappointment not only to local Singaporeans. It should never have been opened and revenue generated in the first place.

This outdoor conservatory boasts more than 50 different species of butterflies, from the rare and endangered to the more common varieties. Observe butterflies as they delicately emerge from their cocoons; have a chat with talkative macaws; or even spot a free-spirited Indian star tortoise moving between tanning spots.
