My friends and I went for the "A Quiet Place" earlier today. I was utterly disappointed with how misleading and bad the room was! The props were of low quality, books had writings on it saying "do not open, or pay $35 for damages." The staff told us to not move any objects but we had to move a cabinet to lead us to the next room. There were many useless locks that were not part of the game as well. Just get rid of it instead of leaving it there instead? There were at least 5 of them. The worst part of it all, it was ridiculous how they started the timer when we were not there yet. Their reason was because they had a next booking right after us. If that was the case, the staff should have more buffer time between each booking session. I believe it is quite common for people to use up all the time given. Almost all the other escape rooms I have been to, allowed us to extend at least 5 minutes. However, we ended the session 15 minutes before time was up. It was disgusting how often the staff called to help us!!! We paid to SOLVE puzzles, not for the staff to tell us what to do every 10 minutes! We wanted to try solving on our own! The difficulty of the room was not even that high at all. However they literally spelt out what to do for us, step by step, word for word, instead of giving actual hints and letting us solve or trial and error. This was the worst ever escape room experience I had in my lifetime. I have been to other escape rooms in Singapore and even Malaysia. There were of similar standards while this escape room was barely even close to being even called one.

It has been a fun and exciting escape room experience. The facility was clean, the background atmosphere and ambience were great, and the puzzles (28 nights) are overall challenging but very engaging. It is highly recommended to try this escape room with your friends. Ho Ping is our host of the game. She is very friendly and enhanced our game experience. When we needed some clues, she gave us just the right amount so that the hints could help us move on, and yet do not spoil the game. Thank you Ho Ping for providing such a nice experience, we will patronize again for other puzzles. :)

We tried Jigsaw and it was a exciting and challenging room! Lei was great in giving us clues. However, I feel that we could be a given some time to solve the room on our own effort rather than being heavily guided to completing it. The flow of the game can also be better structured and not be back and forth which we felt was a little confusing and tad a little disconnected. Overall its a great bonding activity! (:

Attended a company interaction day at the venue. The experience was akin to other escape-themed activities, with puzzles set at an appropriate difficulty level for the 75-minute duration. Overall, it met expectations.

First time here at Trapped, played 28days of night at the Cathay. The booking was very easy, very clear instruction to prevent any extra bookings. Received email reminders and also phone call on the day of event. Staff was all very nice and polite. In the game: I must say the duration given was just nice. We manage to solve the riddles and escape in time. A wireless phone was giving to ask for clue if we are stuck or call for help. The staff “Mr Lei” without fail, guide us calmly. (Thou we are in panic mode) we called for help more than the stated times. Haha! I would suggest maybe can state/label which station to solve first? Because we actually don know where to start or solve. Good thing have the phone, they will call us to guide us. Overall we enjoyed the game. Now we need to get more courage to play the next level of game! 👻

Me and my gf tried the Quiet Place and it was fun and interesting compared to the Escape Board Games we tried at home due to the lockdown, pun intended. It was noted that the puzzles are medium and we manage to escape within 70 mins with a few hints. We intended to head back with more friends next time to challenge the puzzles. The staff at Cathay branch is also very friendly to guide and share with us the other puzzles they have which are suitable for our level and interests.

To play or not to play... make your choice. TLDR: tried the jigsaw room with two friends, and it was a fun maiden experience for all of us! We needed a lot of help, which the staff was really patient in providing. We "escaped" with barely three seconds left on the clock 😂 I look forward to trying out more of their rooms!

4 of us played the “Hide and Seek” themed escape room today at The Cathay and we absolutely enjoyed it! We liked that the help was very prompt, the staff were sharp enough to notice when we needed help so there was no time wasted. The hints given were helpful enough and yet there were still opportunities to explore and attempt on our own. Props and equipments were clean and fully functional. Highly recommended, will definitely return to try more!

Our family of 4 played the Hide and Seek escape themed game at the Cathay. Staff are super helpful and friendly and gave clear instructions. We faced the challenge not knowing how to kick-start the game and staff proactively called to give us the clue for a start! We really enjoyed ourselves playing this game and building family bonding time together with our teens. The thrill come with the unexpected catcher who came in... enjoy....

The place was easy to find and all the staff was friendly and most importantly, the game was great! I was there with my family and we chose Hide and Seek and it was the most intense time in my life! The best escape room I have played so far compared to other places. Love it and will definitely be back for more!! Please do come down and try to play! Highly recommended!

First escape room I've ever played and it's the best experience and most fun I've had. Amelia was very clear with the instructions at the beginning before we started the escape room. And both syuhaidah and Amelia was very helpful with helping us with the clues. And both of them were very patient and polite with us. The instruction could be improve more details at the start of the challenge and should highlight whether respective each theme required a better eyes sight if not will be very challenging. Overall is good for youngster but not for those bad sighted. Special thanks to friendly stuff (Elyssa) and her colleagues for the good hospitality.

Went with the family to do the "Great Escape" and went back the following day to do "The Alchemist's Cabinet of Curiosities". Both Escape rooms were good but we preferred the Cabinet of Curiosities. The staff were friendly, funny and helpful and the escape rooms were challenging enough. As compared to another escape room we did in Singapore, there was no time limit to when we could start asking questions or how many questions we could ask in that 1hr or 1hr 15mins. Would definitely do another escape room there next time we are in Singapore.

Good selection of escape rooms with various difficulties and scare levels to cater for your group. Make sure to book a timeslot early in the day or night before at latest.

We played the hostel warlock. It was super fun and intriguing. It was challenging but it makes sense. The service staff are very helpful and friendly. Ali was exceptional at helping us out, he was able to maintain the suspense yet give us nice clues. We will surely be back.

I played the “Season 6: The Alchemist's Cabinet of Curiosities”, and it was quite fun! I find the level of difficulty just nice for a beginner with some touch of street-smart. Might be easy for frequent players though. There was also zero-scare elements, so it is the perfect game to choose if you are looking for non-horror theme. The staffs were very nice too. It is clear that if you talk to them nicely and treat them with respect, they will interact with you nicely too. Overall, I enjoyed my time there. If there is nothing to do in Singapore, can try this! 👍🏻

Tried the mental ward room and 10/10 would recommend! Love the way the whole game flows and I would say it's one of the better escape room I've been to! Happy to hear that they will be changing their rooms by end of the year but that also means I only have 1 more month to try the other 2 rooms!

Played and escaped from the Tekong Escape Room. It was rated highest difficulty and intensity. From my experience, it felt more like a medium difficulty with low-medium intensity. Puzzles could have been more complex, and there were too many distractions not related to the main puzzle. The hints given by the staff were also too obvious/literal. Good central location in town, and is one of the more affordable escape rooms if you apply 20% Safra discount. Overall pretty enjoyable experience, friendly staff, good pricing, and definitely much room for improvement in the puzzle design.

Great experience at Trapped. We like the first game so much that we returned for a second time to try a different room. The games were challenging and the staff helpful and friendly.

The experience there is amazing! We went for my bf’s birthday on january and went back in february for my birthday!! The staffs there are so sweet and friendly and would call us and ask if we needed help when we seemed stuck and guided us! Really fun and enjoyable!!

The phone didn’t work so we had to knock on the door to get hints. Staff are nice and helpful. The game difficulty was a bit tough for Escape from Pulau Tekong.

First time at Trapped and I can say it’s probably the best escape room I’ve tried so far! My fam and I tried the mental ward and we had so much fun - finding the clues were really exciting and not too challenging to a point where it actually gets frustrating. Really awesome props and atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful too. Will definitely return ☺️

my girlfriend and i visited a couple days ago to do the mental ward room, it was challenging but really well crafted, really cool technological and mechanical puzzles, interesting storyline, and eerie atmosphere. the staff member (young girl with brown hair) was super sweet and friendly to us. :-)

The Mental Ward room that we played in was not too easy or too hard, with us being the only 2 persons in the room trying to solve the puzzles. Was enjoyable, and the staff Lynn and Syaz were extremely nice, polite, patient, and friendly. Glad to have decided to come here to play :)

Trapped SG is located at a very convenient place in Orchard. We played Mental Ward and the puzzles were logical to follow. The room setup was really good - quite an eerie feeling (as though you had just stepped into a mental ward with crazy people). We were stuck in the first room for a long while, only to realise that the first answer was just there the whole time (we just didn’t see it). The other puzzles were ok to solve. We were successful in our escape and had great fun!

I've done around 40 different escape rooms so far and would rate this a mediocre experience. For people who've never done some before they will like it. If you've done a lot, you won't find it that amazing since the rooms lack nice atmosphere, are worn down and there are not too many riddles. Also service is a bit cold, didn't even say goodbye or congrats or anything like that after we've escaped from the room

There were lots of laughter, screaming and wrecking our brains hard to solve all the cleverly hidden clues and puzzles. Played the Pulau Tekong escape room with my family just yesterday. The puzzles had the right mix of brain work and physical aspects. The room was also well maintained, we didn't spot any major damages on the props and the locks were all functional. Although this was not the room we originally intended to play, we were not disappointed and enjoyed it fully. The staff (Tim, Ain and Dian) were welcoming, nice and helpful. This is the first time, in my experience of playing escape rooms, that staff called in to give hints when they see us being stuck or lost. They were very attentive! Also, kudos to the staff for calling us hours in advance to inform us of the change in rooms due to maximum capacity. We will be back again for sure.

I tried the Tekong escape room with 5 other friends (all newbies) and it was a very enjoyable experience! Julia was really friendly and patiently guided us whenever we were stuck. Trapped is an escape room arranged based on themes such as the movie Purge. Liked that they had a room that is very Singaporean like, the Tekong Bunk. It is a very fun and creative game that needs players to find clues and Any clue can be helpful for players unlock themselves and escape a room. The time limit sets the adrenaline rush but be sure not to get either too focused on something that you may feel be right but this game is really about mental flexibility. Also great hints are dropped by the staff if any point that you are stuck, hit them up for clues. Awesome and really fun way to exercise your intellect and have some fun. Tickles your brain. Must try!

We love the experience @ Trapped! The props, clues, mysteries, rooms are well thought of. The theme story and clues along the way to escape the room are well thought of. They are really related to the story. The staffs are very nice as well. we will definitely come back and solve more!

It was our first experience bringing along 2 young kids age 8 and 11 years old with us. It was a great family adventure and team bonding. Lyn was helpful in giving the clues. She was detailed and we were able to craft out the pieces together. Thank you so much, Lyn for being part of this thrilling adventure. We are sure to make a comeback.

Two of us played The Mental Ward and we were stuck at the last stage. Throughout the game, we were stuck a few times and the friendly game master offered hints to help us. It’s a challenging game and we enjoyed it!

Really enjoyed The Purge at Trapped cause it’s a good way to bond with family and friends while using our brain cells at the same time hahaha!

Went to escape room with the Purge theme. Slightly more challenging than what we expected, and clues were fun to solve. Fiona attended to us with great initiative by calling us when we took a very long time to solve the puzzles and she gave very helpful and inspiring clues :) Will definitely come back for more and try out the harder themes (Mental Ward and Pulau Tekong) !!

My friends and I did the Pulau Tekong Game and we would highly recommend it. Great props and exciting clues. We actually completed it with 7mins left and heard it only had a success rate of 18%. It was challenging so maybe don't try it if it's your first escape room. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location of the place is convenient next to somerset. We had a great time!

It was a good experience there. The staffs are very friendly and helpful, assisting us whenever we encounter a roadblock. My friends and I did the Tekong Escape Room. We would like to recommend to get a better actor inside the video. He does not look desperate enough... HAHAHAH! Besides that, all is good and hope to come back again once there are new Escape Rooms!

It is quite fun to play with your friends, especially when y'all work together to solve the rooms together! The staff is literally a phone call away if you rly find yourself stuck and you have no idea how to crack the code!

Staffs were very friendly and patient in explaining game rules, safety precautions and phoned us at appropriate timings to give us clues when we were off track / lost. Escape room (Escape from Pulau Tekong) was cleverly designed as well, with clues being just of the right difficulty level. Went there with my family and loved the place. My kids are under 13 and liked the entire experience. The escape room is quite challenging and really difficult to escape without the clues. 60 minutes flew so quickly and felt the time could have been longer ( Especially with kids ). The staff were good and assisted with the entire process. Would certainly go back again to try the other rooms.

I played the Escape from Tekong Army Bunk game with my friend and it was one amazing adventure. I accidentally broke the key that was meant to unlock a drawer and was pleased when the friendly staff kindly assisted to open the drawer for us to continue the game. In addition to that, the staff also allowed us more time to solve the final clue that unlocks the main door to escape the room. We were also allowed to call for clues more than 3 times. I really appreciated how the staff would guide us whenever we needed a clue instead of simply providing the answer to the next step. They were also highly motivating and volunteered to take a photo of us after the game. The game was also really exciting, just the right amount of challenge and horror to keep you hooked and gaming. 10/10 visit and highly recommended. 💯

I have 5 tickets that were expired in Jun 2020, when we had lockdown from April, and subsequently government still asked the public to reduce going out to minimise the risks. When I contacted them, they refused to extend the expiry saying that they reopened in Jun and customer should go to them in Jun/July. Even the cinemas and loyalty rewards programmes have extended their vouchers or loyalty points. Such narrow minded and greedy businesses who only wants your money when you buy their vouchers and refuse to service you when you ask for extension, for something that is not the customer's fault.

The children enjoyed the experience so much, thank you for it being fun!

Played Tekong and it was my first time with Trapped. Parts of it was scary but the puzzle itself was doable and we finished it with 5 min to spare. Gamemaster was extremely helpful and nice and made the experience REALLY fun! Wld reccomend especially to beginners because puzzles were pretty straightforward. The room was priced at 18.60 per pax (student discount), but I saw that they were having some promotion rn whr if u like their social media pages u get $4 off (if ure not a student). Pricing is very reasonable!

Overall a really fun experience! We played the Carnevil and the whole game was really well thought out. All the rooms were planned out really well and the quizzes and puzzles were all do-able yet enticing and engaging. The staff at Trapped were also really welcoming and whenever we needed help they would always assist us patiently. Really fun and enjoyable experience! 😊

My wife and I had a blast at Trapped Escape Room Singapore @ Scape last Friday. It was our 5th wedding anniversary that day and we decided to play an escape game together for the very first time. We selected the Mental Ward and had no regrets. The game masters were patient and provided the hints when we needed the most during the game. Though it was a pity that we failed to complete the game in an hour time, we did manage to complete the game and it was an enjoyable moment for us!! We can't wait to come back again and play other games! Highly recommended!!!

Played evil carnival. Rather expensive for the experience we had. Staff sounds annoyed giving out hints. Hints wasn’t really useful. And clues wasn’t making sense. Wasn’t a fun experience for us.

Enthralling place. Captivates ones fantasy of horror. Tricky puzzles utilise a myriad of different props like music instruments, radios, files, wallpapers, ceiling etc. To make the vibes realistic. Artefacts are aesthetically pleasing. Experience is well worth it and rewarding. Rooms need a bit more light to solve puzzles and I feel no more than 4 people should go to stay true to the time and avoid a haphazard experience as the rooms seem quite small. Rental prices for more larger rooms may be high but definitely would improve the experience. More light effects, sounds, props that are involved in the puzzle could improve experience as well.

If you're not afraid of the dark and looking to do something fun, come and challenge yourself at Trapped. It was so fun, 1 hour flew by. Thank you Jana for being so attentive and helpful. You're a star!

Though the experience could be better if the traps etc are more sensitive, even though with clear instructions some locks are hard to open :) But overall good experience :-)

It was our first experience playing an escape game online so it needs getting used to but the game master, Ellysha was very patient with us. We enjoyed our experience and had fun solving the puzzles which were quite manageable. Gave us satisfaction when we were able to solve them. Will definitely do this again!

It was the first experience for escape room. Wei zhi explain everything very nicely and clear. The escape room was fun. If think out of the box will be able to solve it. Play the tekong one and it was awesome.

We did the Purge room for the 11:45pm session on a Sat night. Although we were the last group, the staff was friendly and patient with us. The room was well maintained and the game was challenging. Will definitely return to try other rooms.

It has been a great team bonding as we are able to work together to attempt to solve a murder mystery. I got a chance to know my teammates more and find out their strengths. Amaze how funny we are in the midst of solving puzzles. It was a new experience and I highly recommend it 👍👍👍

Especially the guy that wore black with round glasses, he was very helpful and friendly and not only that, it was my birthday that time and he gave me this very cute and small monkey keychain! Went with a group of friends for the Escape from Tekong room. Puzzles were fun and challenging. Staff were friendly, and very helpful throughout- providing clues when they realized we were struggling to nudge us in the right direction. Overall, a fun experience!

we went to the jigsaw themed escape room on 28/12. generally, it was really fun !! :D the atmosphere was spooky and the puzzles were challenging but still doable :) shandy, the person in charge of our room, was super helpful and friendly even though we asked for so many hints lol. overall, a great experience and definitely worth trying !! :>

As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by polite and helpful employees. My friends and I attempted the Jigsaw room and struggled, but because to the patient personnel, we were able to complete it. I would strongly advise others to visit this location because I had a great experience there. I'm looking forward to exploring the many additional rooms.

Went to play two rooms (hide and seek and jigsaw), both are fun and interesting. We just somehow ignore the clues and skip the puzzles end up need hints to escape. The rooms are big and spacious. It will be better with more scare factors since it’s haunted theme. It’s different experience with and without NPC. Will plan to go for the remaining rooms, having more promotion will be best.

We tried the new jigsaw escape room and it was such a good rush! The puzzles were difficult but not impossible to work on. We managed to solve it but with a little extra time that was provided by the staff whom were great! We will be back for the other games!

We did the Purge Escape Room today and really enjoyed ourselves! Managed to get out with two minutes to spare! The puzzles were perfectly tricky and the room was definitely creepy in equal measure. Loved the sound effects and attention to detail with the props! We also really appreciated being able to ask for clues and be helped along with a hint from the super friendly game masters if we were behind time. Thank you so much for the truly fun escape room experience!

My colleagues and I tried out Hide and Seek. It was certainly not for the faint hearted. We had a blast trying to solve the different puzzles. Sha the game master was very jovial. She made us comfortable and calmed us down when the game got intense. Excellent customer service by her. Would definitely recommend trapped.

We tried the Hide & Seek theme on the 6th April at 8pm. It was absolutely a blast with few illogical puzzles but mostly solvable clues. The technology were good and the quality of the props are all great with few damages in sight. The staff were extremely polite and helpful (both counter staff and the one giving hint over the phone) and tried their best to help without giving away the answers. Overall, the puzzles were challenging and the theme was intense and all of us enjoyed ourselves very much!

I organised a small teambuilding event at Trapped today and we had enormous fun cracking difficult clues. I witnessed my two sub team members working together seamlessly to crack the puzzles and everyone contributed to giving suggestions and solving the difficult phases. We used a lot of help from the phone 😅 but our star member Ian Lee was always on his toes to relate each clue to the puzzle. It was so fun! I would really want to try are with my family next time :) It’s Hide and Seek for 75 min. Trust me, it’s not enough time and be ready for a huge surprise.

Very fun and exciting escape room. This place uses alot of your brain power to solve some of the puzzles. Place is dimly lit so you have to open your eyes big big. Host, Sha, is amazing. Very friendly and fun. A good place to spend time with your loved ones 👍🏼

Very engaging and challenging game! We played jigsaw. Puzzles were difficult but we managed to pull through. Without the help of the helpful and friendly staffs Sha and Jumbo, we wouldn’t have completed the game! Will recommend it to my friends!

We did A quiet place, with 4 people, and finished with 4 minutes to the end. It was a really exciting experience, full of challenging puzzles and riddles. We did require a few clues via the phone to solve a few of them, but looking back they were all solvable if we spent a bit more time trying.

The room was pretty fun with strategic and educational parts. Xuen was very friendly and encouraging throughout the journey! Helped to lift the anxiety of getting it all done! :D enjoyed the experience, will come back again.

My friends and I were doing 'A quiet place'. We had a lot fun solving the puzzle. Luana helped us with some of the puzzles. She would check up on us and make sure we are doing alright. It was a really fun experience, highly recommended!

Jared is awesome! Good host, except for the part where he turn off the lights and tried to scare us. Overall a good experience since he helped us solve the puzzles as we are not able to finish it in 75 minutes.

I found some of the puzzles here a bit too obscure to be solved naturally without hints - to get the solution you need to combine the information they give you in a fairly arbitrary way. So you pretty much need to often ask for hints. When asking for hints the staff basically launch straight into telling you how to solve it rather than giving clues. This doesn't feel particularly satisfying. The other big detraction was that pretty much every prop was labelled with a sign saying not to break it and the money penalty you would have to pay if you broke it. It ranged from $80 to $600. I feel this ruins the immersion of the game significantly, and not something I've seen in other escape rooms before. I know you want the guests to be careful but please don't cheapen the experience. I did like the room with the NPC actor though, was pretty good and did a convincing job. Although we had to call in to get him in because we were totally stuck and out of puzzles to solve until he came in.

Mardiya was a great host and help. She did a great job at helping and also explaining everything to us. The game in general was nice. The difficulty was okay but the overall theme was wotth it. Definitely something that you should try.

Tried this when company organized a team building event. Even can cater for a small group with total of13 pax. Divided in 2 groups. It’s fun experience and all of us enjoyed it. The game is not too difficult and you can always call help line for clues and tips. Solving mystery question and question before moving from room to room. Good to have fun there.

Played “A quiet place” here with 2 friends. Simple for first timers. Staff were super nice. Gave clear instructions. Cynthia helped us throughout the game. Super helpful. Hints were unlimited. Unlike other escape rooms, this one will help to bring you through the room if are unable to complete the puzzles when the time is up. Highly recommend to visit this place!

Don’t book it !!! I read only good reviews about the game HIDE AND SEEK. 1. The room is full of items that are not hints but only for decorations. 2. even when u understand the puzzle u have to guess which lock u have to use so we always have to ask the staff (the girl was nice) 3. the quality of the phone call is so bad 4. we escaped and didn’t realize it because we thought there are more locks in the room 5. after we escaped we were like „oh, that’s it?“ 6. there are 2 scary surprises that were really nice but not worth the money … I can recommend u guys TRAPPED AGAIN from the escape artist! Much better storyline and only the half of the price :) The only

It was my first time experiencing escape room and it was very enjoyable. Tawfeeq has briefed us well and helped us throughout the game. The old blind man comes in mid game, it was very scary. Overall great experience, recommend!

Enjoyed the Asylum escape room! It initially looks really scary however it is still acceptable! The puzzles were very interesting and fun. Lei was also really engaging and which made it an overall pleasant experience!

It was really intriguing and heart pounding, as we uncover the mystery together. However, we did face quite a few trouble, but one of the workers, named, nelly was really kind enough to help us get through the puzzles. Overall, is an amazing experience if you wish to get your brain thinking!

We came on 8/12/2023 for the 9.45pm slot. We were late and we were aware that the time has started, however the girl behind the counter who attended to us was super uncouth, from the scanning of the QR code to when we had to keep our belongings in the locker. My friend was trying to be clear and was explaining that there will be 6 of us, 3 of us present and the other 3 will arrive slightly later. She was so condescending and she raised her voice at my friend when my friend asked her why was she being rude. There is no reason to raise your voice to paying customers, I know because I work in customer service. Despite her attitude we still went through it because we were looking forward to the activity. You guys should vet her, the tone she gave her was like we owed her something??? But the other staff, Melissa was just doing her job. Maybe she was just tired, she was helpful when we needed clues to solve some puzzles.

Second time at trapped and it performed once again! Rooms were beautifully designed with much attention to minute details to make us feel immersed in the experience. There were many times where we got so lost in the puzzles, but Mel came to our rescue with her expert knowledge, and her cheery vibe made the whole experience a worthwhile one. 10/10 would recommend.
